Riad Kasbah & Spa

We stayed at Riad Kasbah in July. We enjoyed our stay until the last day. We discovered Bed Bugs in our room 1 hour before we had to leave to the airport, the staff was nowhere to be found (they claim to have a 24/7 service). Besides that they told us they would arrange breakfast and guidance to the taxi, this was not the case and we had to find the taxi ourselves in the middle of the night without any breakfast. We tried to fix it directly with Riad Kasbah, they told us we would get a refund and they has kept us waiting since July till now (we never got the refund). We understand Bed Bugs can occur in any accommodation but the way they handled the situation is just very unprofessional. Washing all your delicate clothes with high temperatures and itchy spots on your body is NOT a good way to end your vacation.

Personeel was heel vriendelijk en stond altijd ter beschikking. Het ontbijt was goed, maar als je langer gaat dan een paar dagen iets te weinig afwisseling. De Spa & Hamman zijn zeker aan te bevelen.

De airco in kamer 6 viel wat tegen en was naar ons gevoel niet sterk genoeg om de volledige kamer te koelen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Riad ist sehr sauber und hat alles was es braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen wie auch ein super bequemes Bett, selten dass man sich nicht auf das Bett von zu Hause freut. Das Essen ist der absolute Hammer, die Köchin ist warscheinlich die beste von Marokko. Zu Fuss ist alles sehr gut erreichbar.

Adorámos a nossa estadia no Riad Kasbah! Gostámos de tudo: o espaço, o ambiente, o conforto e, sobretudo, a forma como fomos recebidos e tratados durante toda a estadia. Queremos destacar especialmente o Jean-François, que foi extremamente simpático, atencioso e prestável em todos os momentos. Fez-nos sentir muito bem-vindos e esteve sempre disponível para ajudar no que fosse necessário. É, sem dúvida, uma enorme mais-valia para o Riad Kasbah. Recomendamos totalmente e voltaríamos sem hesitar!

Piękny Riad, bardzo zadbany, czyste pokoje, Hajiba z recepcji była bardzo pomocna i miła.

Śniadania tylko na słodko i codziennie to samo. Mężczyźni z personelu mało przyjaźni. Doliczono transport z lotniska, którego nie mieliśmy.

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits au Riad Kasbah & Spa dans le cadre d'un voyage en amoureux, et nous en gardons un souvenir absolument magnifique. Le riad est exactement ce que l'on rêve de trouver à Marrakech — typique, authentique, sans fioriture moderne inutile. On se croirait dans un autre temps. La chambre est grande, magnifiquement décorée et parfaitement entretenue. Tout était impeccable à notre arrivée comme à notre départ. La piscine est un vrai bonheur en fin de journée, après une longue journée de visite sous la chaleur d'août. Et le calme qui règne dans le riad est saisissant — on oublie complètement que la médina est à deux pas. Mention spéciale à l'agent d'accueil de nuit, d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité remarquables à notre arrivée tardive. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation à tous ceux qui cherchent l'authenticité d'un vrai riad marrakchi. Nous reviendrons.

Beautyfull historical Riad with great rooms that were really comfortable too. The Riad is located centrally and it is easy to walk to all major touristic sites including the square.

Although the staff was helpful, it also felt a bit distant with one or two exceptions. The pool is nice, but (probably due to the heat) the sides of the basin where not entirely clean leaving staines on our bodies. Lunch was a bit disappointing; long waiting and small portions.

Good location close to main square. Shops were close and the pick up area for activities are within walking distance.

Only thing was AC did not work and the fan given to us blew out hot air.

Le cadre de ce Riad exceptionnel du XVI e, la piscine tellement relaxante au mois d’août! La chambre magnifique et la qualité de sa literie, le petit déjeuner !!! Et l’accueil très à l’écoute. Cuisine de très très bonne qualité.

Nous avons aimé l’accueil de l’ensemble du personnel, les services proposés (massages parfait !), petit déjeuner et dîner super bons. La chambre était également parfaite.

Amazing property, everything was clean and comfortable and the fan was a massive plus for the heat. The staff were incredibly lovely and attentive — we had a tour that was to leave super early in the morning and they offered to provide our breakfast much earlier than the start time which was so appreciated. Location is also very convenient to the main square. Would recommend!

Le personnel aux petits soins et très disponible pour s’assurer qu’on passait un bon séjour. Tout était comme indiqué, on s’est senti très bien dans ce Riad : « notre maison marocaine » comme nous disait Hajiba.

Superbe établissement au centre-ville, avec un personnel super sympathique et aux petits soins pour nous. Merci encore j’y retourne sans aucun souci.

Apanhei uma vaga de calor excepcional que também assolou o nosso país e o ar condicionado no quarto era insuficiente. Muita perda de energia pelas portas e janelas ( materiais de fraca qualidades, embora muito tradicionais e bonitos)

Una recepció excepcional! Molt agradables! Bon bon servei, l’habitació espectacular i el servei de esmorzar i menjar també. A 10minuts caminant del centre, es troba en zona mes apartada i tranquil•la. Molt bona gestio de anar a buscar-te a l’aeroport.

Riad Kasbah is a lovey peaceful oasis in the middle of the delicious chaos that is Marrakesh. Staff are extremely helpful, professional and friendly. We loved our stay here.

Everything from the staff, location, attention to detail, pool, rooftop, food, comfort i couldn't fault it. The staff were so attentive to every need, made me feel comfortable and like family. The riad is so so so beautiful, actually more so than the photos online. I couldn't fault it. I will 100% be back.

Coffee in your room would be nice incase you wake up before breakfast, although even when I did, staff were happy to cater for a early coffee!!

I adored this Riad, can’t wait to come back, we had a great time, the room is perfect, the pool stunning, the massage was dreamy and the staff was so attentive and sweet. I did not want to leave.

There is nothing I didn’t like

La habitacion en la planta superior era muy comoda y el area exterior en la terraza muy agradable. El detalle de dejarnos datiles frescos cada mañana nos ha gustado mucho. En si el Riad y su arquitectura nos ha gustado mucho.

El barrio donde se ubica el Riad es un poco sucio en los alrededores, pero al estar dentro de la Medina creo que es lo normal.

He estado en muchas riads en Marrakech y esta es una más entre miles si bien el precio, dobla la media. El desayuno no está a la altura de la media y es poco contundente.

The building was beautiful, the atmosphere serine and the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, including allowing us to hang around after checkout and use the pool until our transfer.

Authentieke riad, stijlvol en een heerlijke kamer met terras op rooftop. Uniek om in een riad zo’n ruime en lichte kamer te hebben

Wat een lieve mensen hebben we hier ontmoet. Allemaal stuk voor stuk elke keer met een glimlach, belangstellend naar onze dag, vragend of alles in orde was. Perfecte locatie, alles wat goed lopend te bereiken. Elke ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt. Lekker kunnen ontspannen op het dakterras, genoten van de Hammam en massage. Taxi werd vlot voor ons geregeld. Echt meer dan we hadden verwacht.

Helemaal niets. Het was echt perfect voor onze citytrip.

Das war zweifellos das schönste Quartier unserer Reise, hier hat einfach alles gestimmt. Das Haus ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand, das Personal wirklich zuvorkommend freundlich. Auch das Abendessen war perfekt. Die Lage im Kasbah-Viertel ist recht gut, man kann mit dem Taxi nahe ans Quartier kommen und muss nicht ewig weit das Gepäck schleppen.

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt kregen we mee in een zakje voor onderweg naar t vliegveld. Dat ontbijtjes ok. Transport naar het vliegveld was heel goed geregeld. Locatie was goed, dichtbij maar niet in de medina. Zwembad lag er goed bij en ontspannen mooie aankleding van de Riad binnenruimte. Gesloten dak.

Super vriendelijk personeel en een mooie kamer. Ontbijt is goed. Locatie is op loopafstand van het hart van Marrakesh. Wij vonden het fijn om niet midden in de drukte te zitten. En de riad is super mooi.

De hammm/spa hebben wij buiten de deur gedaan, omdat we dat aantrekkelijker vonden dan de spa bij het hotel. Die viel voor ons wat tegen. Verder zou het fijn zijn om iedere dag een fles water te krijgen of iets dergelijks.

Het was in één woord geweldig. Enorm vriendelijk personeel die alles voor je willen doen en oplossen. Locatie in Marrakesh is uitstekend, alles is te vinden op loopafstand. We hebben het als een enorme luxe ervaren, dit is meer dan een drie sterren service! Heerlijk dat er maar 10 kamers zijn. Lekker ontbijten in je badjes in het zonnetje, daarna naar de Hammam en een massage als toetje. Wat wil je nog meer.

We hebben geen minpunten ervaren, eerder veel Meer pluspunten.

Work taking place on the roof canopy for most of the time we were there. Would have been good to know this before arriving as there was builders mess and sharp objects on the roof terrace. Also was disturbing through the day when we wanted a quiet day on the roof terrace. If we had known this, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Rooms can feel a little bit damped but airco was available

We werden heel goed ontvangen met thee en koekjes, kregen een duidelijke uitleg over de riad en de omgeving. Ondanks het vroege uur was de kamer al klaar en konden we onze spullen al uitpakken. Heel vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend gelegen, alles was er heel netjes!

Als enige puntje van kritiek: misschien wat meer variatie in het ontbijt. Wij verbleven er 5 nachten en hebben 5x hetzelfde ontbijt gekregen. Op zich was het wel meer dan genoeg, maar heel schaars aan fruit: 3 aardbeien voor 2 personen, banaan in stukjes gesneden en elk 8 stukjes. We hadden op iets meer fruit gehoopt. De laatste morgen hebben ze dit wel proberen goed te maken met een fruitschaaltje.

Frühstück war gut. Cappuccino leider nicht gut.

Schwimmbad nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Kasbah! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. Other than that, the location of the Riad was just perfect. Breakfast was great and our room was very comfortable.

Literally the only thing would be the Hamman experience was a little gritty…the massages were amazing but the hamman itself maybe could have been a little nicer :)

Een goede, prima keuken, gastvrij, rustig/achteraf/alles op loopafstand maar lees hier ook even door

Vier maanden vantevoren deze Kasbah uitgekozen met een superior suite, 190 euro per nacht. Heeft goede referenties op Booking Uitdrukkelijk gevraagd om een rustige kamer. Dat is bevestigd, daarna een maand vantevoren, daarna een week vantevoren en bij de incheck bevestigd. Dit laatste met een grote glimlach van de dame van de receptie. Wat blijkt …, je krijgt een kamer boven de keuken. Veel lawaai, veel echo van pannen, potten en praten. De volgende ochtend dat aangegeven en gevraagd om een wisseling. Geen enkele reflectie. Ja, ze had het gelezen …. Verder niets. Dat werd simpelweg genegeerd. Bij het uitchecken een klacht ingediend. Dat werd door een meneer begrepen en excuses van hem volgden. Verder geen kopje thee oid. Het gaat hier dus om betrouwbaarheid en zelfreflectie. Een geluidsdrukke kamer is niet erg, maar beloof dan niets. Dan kan de gast zijn eigen keuzes maken, niet komen. De kamer nummer 8 moet je echt niet hebben !! Doorliggend matras, niet geheel schone badkamer. Positief is de keuken, goed diner en redelijk geprijsd. Gastvrijheid is er zeker. Ontbijt traditioneel en vrij simpel. Wifi redelijk. Bij de intake wordt door mevrouw getracht van alles voor je te regelen, beetje mee oppassen dus. Taxi retour vliegveld prima. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding matig Wij snappen de hoge score op Booking niet. Het is niet meer dan 3 sterren en de prijs is er dan niet na. Samengevat; het echte probleem zit dus bij de wat men beloofdt bij de incheck en zeker niet bij de mensen van de keuken of household. We hebben gedurende de laatste dag naar een alternatief gezocht, beetje duurder, maar dan heb je wat Hier de laatste avond ook gedineerd, voortreffelijk. Tevens goede wijn. Le Makassar Marrakech

Sfeervol en een oase van rust, vriendelijke personeel

Het is natuurlijk wel een riad en je slaapkamer grenst direct aan het eetgedeelte. Met ontbijt is dit wel hoorbaar maar voor ons niet echt storend.

Uns gefiel erst einmal die Ruhe dort. Direkt in der Medina und man merkt nichts davon, perfekt! Der Innenhof so schön, Frühstück und Abendessen sehr lecker und die Zimmer klassisch eingerichtet mit mega bequemen Betten. Das Personal total hilfsbereit, was will man mehr?

Nydelig riad, med høflige og alltid imøtekommende ansatte. Hamam og massasje var også en fantastisk opplevelse!

Vi ankom riaden på ettermiddagen, og opplevde smugene rundt riaden som illeluktende med rester av grønnsaker og annen mat liggende utover i gatene. En lite hyggelig adkomst.
