Bien situé et accès à la piscine dans un autre hotel au bout de la rue.

Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre. Il y a une clim mais il faut payer des frais supplémentaires pour pouvoir l'activer.

Pas de télécommande pour la clim et ma chambre était infestée de fourmis…

It was close to restaurants, markets, handy for Tuk tuks, and bars.and you could use the pool at its other hotel, where the staff are friendly and helpful..

Some staff seem unhelpful, not very friendly, and it is run down it needs modernized and brought up to date, the fan worked but wouldn't move, so it was OK if you stayed in one place.i won't return to this hotel, and probably give Battembang a miss.

Bed was comfy, there’s everything you need, a big fan, night guard is especially friendly! I was scared to bother him for coming home late from the festival, but he always welcomed me with a smile. Also, I found the price unbeatable. This price at this location I would highly recommend, especially for young backpackers who want some privacy.

Daytime staff doesn’t even bother to be friendly, couldn’t find that pool (she could have showed me and not be annoyed by my simple friendly question), AC only provided when you ask several times, not perfectly clean when I entered and the curtains let light through. Plus it was a bit loud in the morning.

This was my second stay of 13 nights at the Lux Guesthouse; last time was in February 2024. Was allocated Room 3001 initially, but the air conditioner wasn't working. Was moved into 3002 which was a better room as it had a double bed and a single. I used the single to lay out my belongings as there is no wardrobe. Large room and good bathroom. Room was serviced about 7 times this visit. Love the access to the swimming pool at the Villa Lux Hotel.

No toilet paper. If room not serviced, no bottled water supplied.

They had a nice swimming pool 200 meters away. That was clean.

They didn't switch off the light on the balcony, so it was very light in my room although I had the curtains closed. That was the second night.The first night they told me the light will be finished at 11 pm automatically. The Air Con was very loud. So I switched it off, but even taken off the room key for electricity it continued with loud noise. I couldn't stop it and couldn't sleep any more after 2 am the second night. For the 3rd night they gave me another room. Two rooms that they offered I noticed, that the door couldn't be closed.safely. I could open the room door easily with my nail file, although the door was locked. The 3rd room was okay then.

The marble staircase with wooden banister is the fist thing to catch your eye, then the wood statues and art work, the corner rooms are oddly shaped but large, huge comfortable bed, aircon and fan, the room comes with all necessities, staff good, great pool, location good with near by restaurants, staff was good, great value for money.

The bed was covered in ants, went to sleep thinking they had been killed and woke up to them all over the bed! In addition, the AC does not work.

Good location with use of another hotels swimming pool which was lovely

The bed was really uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling looked like it was due to collapse . The windows had metal guards on the inside with the outside of the window so dusty it had no view at all. A lizard was in the room when we left!

The location is near the central market.

The staff is not friendly and not helpful.

It's good that you have access to a swimming pool around the corner at the De Lux Hotel.

Not paying for AC when it got too hot one day!

The room, the beds and Bathroom was great

The TV that didn't really work but we weren't worried about it.

Bed was comfortable and the fridge was handy

There were ants and bugs all over the room, floor, bathroom and in the bed, we know that it’s hard to avoid some bugs but it was really really terrible. When we told staff for their sake and our own, they did not seem to care and said they’d spray the room, however there continued to be ants all over when we got back. The AC is also switched off by reception whenever you leave the building, so the room was extremely humid and stuffy whenever we came back. Again, we asked staff to leave it on when we went out for dinner but this was not done. The AC also turned off after about 10mins, which meant we’d wake up constantly too hot. I understand this place is cheaper than most but you don’t expect such an awful stay as a paying guest.

I don’t recommend any passenger or traveller to stay in this guesthouse, owner and staff very rude and bad service

In Battanbang for a 2 week volunteer project at Bospos. Chose Lux Guesthouse as an alternative to last year's stay. Had a bigger, more spacious room. Clean facilities. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning worked. Didn't use TV or bar fridge, but assumed they worked. Used the pool at the Lux Villa, 50 meters up the street. booked for another 2 weeks next year. Close to market, ATMs, money changers, restaurants.

Room not serviced on 3 days out of 12, so no complimentary water those days, though I did help myself to the cleaners trolley. As others have said, no lift and I had 83 steps to the 4th floor; made me fitter.

Basic but comfortable/OK rooms. Fine for a short stay and the location is great, but don't expect too much from the facilities!

Had booked to stay, but there was no room for us. Had no choice but to pay extra to upgrade to the villa up the road. Room was full of mosquitoes, even though it was sprayed the mosquitoes returned. Gecko poo everywhere No safety deposit box available even though owner said there would be. Crazy Chinese style fake children statues Could not use the bedside lamps. Lead was not long enough. Door handles hanging off wardrobe.

The stay was saved because you can use a swimming pool of their other property 100m away. Room was quite big and spacious.

No wardrobe, no kettle. Fan room was definitely too hot even in the cool season of December.

Pool was great. Location is walking distance to most things. Room is big. Fridge was working ok. Tuk Tuk aways available outside the door at a fair price. Cleaning was good.

The staff are ok and friendly. Not always proactive but then they don't earn much either. Helpful when asked.

Location was great, lots of good restaurants and the market within walking distance. The pool that can be used as a guest was only about a 3 minute walk away and very nice, great bonus. The towels were really big and clean so was the bedding. Overall good value for money, considering location and use of pool.

A/C started rattling after a while or wouldn't switch on when we came back after a day trip. Some of the reception staff speak no English whatsoever. Wi-Fi was very spotty.

The hotel looked like they didn't do any maintenance over the last 2 years. The room was simple, cleaning didn't happen (stayed only 2 nights) and we had a lot of red ants in the room

air conditioning wasn’t working, lots of cobwebs but the bed and surface areas were clean, didn’t know about the pool being off site until we checked in - wasn’t an issue but would rather know before hand

Okay hotel with great location - stayed for two nights. The staff does not speak English, but they do their best. Hotel is near several great places to eat. We did not have breakfast there - we went to Cafe HOC, $3 excellent buffet, just around the corner from the hotel.

Not very clean, not very clear ! The receptionist said that we paid for fan only... so we had to paid 5$ / day to have the air conditioner... The room was not cleaned all days and there is no elevator in this hotel (and nobody take us our baggages). For sleeping everything is ok. You can access to the deluxe villa swimming pool : so this is a good point.

Lux hotel guesthouse est tres bien situé et c'est un hotel tres propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres boen equipees.c'est un hotel qie ke recommande vraiment. Le plus la piscine de Lux villa dont on peut profiter gratuitement.

Pool was down the street. Not convenient. General location was ok to access activities. Restaurant across the street was good.

Lux Guesthouse deserves praise for the presentation, and running, of the operation. My niggly complaint is just a tad far from city centre, if walking. Tuk tuk cheap.

Very good budget hotel in the centre of Battambang, a few minutes walk from the market and restaurants. Warm and welcoming room, comfy bed and no problems whatsoever. Both room and bed are very big.

The room and the staff was mostly good. On the second night I came back to my room without power. He kindly gestured me it's ok and I should go back up to my room. I just stood there. After an awkward 30 seconds he flipped the breaker behind him. Came back to the room and the power was magically on.

Good room, large, good service overall. Room was on the fourth floor with no elevator, which made coming and going a chore.

Værelserne var ikke specielt pæne, eller rene. Området var super hyggeligt og hotellet reklamere med egen pool, hvilket de også indikere på deres billeder. Dette har de ikke, men man kan frit låne søsterhotellets pool, som ligger 50-100 meter derfra, og den er rigtig fin

Not very clean. Very small room

A nice hotel with really nice and friendly staff! Particularly Sal our tuk tuk driver. Unfortunately the bed was rock solid and there was no air con just a small fan making it extremely hot. It was cheap so we couldn't complain to much but it meant two uncomfortable nights sleep. Location was perfect and the pool was lovely.

Pros - good location and nothing was stolen from my room Cons - so many to mention ! I thought it was very dirty , AC leaked water in two different rooms , two TVs in a room : both of which didn't work - dirty , disorganised and pricey for what you get

Lux Guesthouse very basic but close enough to everything. The hotel didn't have a restaurant or pool but the sister hotel about 300m walk down the road served us breakfast and had a lovely pool for use at any time. We visited the temple on the mountain and saw the bats fly out at sunset which was great. Bamboo train a crazy but fun experience. There are plenty of tours around the area. Hotel room clean but bathroom a strange design where everything is always wet as shower is in a bad position. Markets only have food on offer, no souvenirs to buy.

Extremely large and clean rooms. Great hot shower, quiet location but only a 5min walk to waterfront.

We booked two beds, but giving a room with one. Asked for two bed room and when we walked in the room, the room was not cleaned. Tried the third bedroom and kept that one. Hot water was good, beds OK. Traveled in Cambodia for a month and every place had electric pot for hot water to make coffee or tea, this place didn't. Also the website said it has a pool. One have to walk to a different hotel to use the pool, ask for a pool ticket at the reception. Short walk, the pool was nice. You get what you paid.

Decent location and price. Helpful staff, moved us to lower floor on request on day 2. Beds comfy but first had a spring sticking out and TV in first room was fuzzy. Fan in room 2 was broken in the on position. Overall a good budget option.

Die Zimmer sind dem alter entsprechend in Ordnung und sauber. Beim Bad tropfte es von der Decke, sonst ok. In allen Zimmern sehr guter WiFi empfang. Das Personal dürfte etwas herzlicher sein. Ruhige zentrale Lage. Wenn man ohne Frühstück gebucht hat, kann man in dem 2 min. entfernten Partnerhotel für 4$ das gute Frühstück haben.

Very basic room but was the A/C was good. Other than that very very basic. Breakfast was good but was in a different hotel so to was the pool. Free pick up from the bus station without us booking ahead. The tuk tuk driver was also very good and we used him for two other trips where he was knowledgable and fairly priced with no haggling. We also had to use our own adapter to plug in the fridge. So nothing special at all.

Nice and close to the action but quiet enough for a good sleep. Great view from the balcony of the sunrise across the city. Helpful staff.

Das Zimmer war ok, Bett war bequem und sauber. Das Badezimmer war etwas vergammelt, zudem tropfte es kontinuierlich von der Decke, sodass man stets nassgetropft wurde wenn man auf der Toilette saß. Abends war es laut wegen der Bar ggü. - nachts ging es dann.

We booked in the morning and arrived in the afternoon to find that our room had been double booked and there were no more rooms available. We were taken to their partner hotel, Deluxe Villa, which was lovely. The company seems good and handled the situation well, so that's a plus point, but I didn't even get to see the inside of a room, so I can't comment on the hotel itself!

Whilst simple and straightforward , no frills, it met our needs very well. Staff very helpful. great breakfast.
