I liked the kiddies play area.

We slept for the first night second night the housekeepers change the second bedroom mattress without consulting us and some of us were sleeping on the discomfort bed anyway we kept quiet. I forgot a pair of sneakers haven’t got it back since.

There was nothing to like. No activities as promised

They post pictures of another resort that has a similar name. DO NOT be fooled by the pictures & activities. There is no heated pool as advertised. The golf course is not green but dry. Can only view the mountain outside of the resort & hiking trails are too far from the resort.

You cannot beat the value for money . Its location and staff are fabulous.

I have been before , and the food is excellent at the restaurant but it is winter , and there 2 fire place in the restaurant and neither we’re on . Also the lighting was awful. Not sure if they were trying to save money by not having lights in and not using wood. But this was very disappointing. They should definitely try work on the restaurant ambiance. The food was amazing

The unit was very spacious and the fireplace kept us very warm. We had everything that we needed and really enjoyed playing golf at Monks Cowl.

The location is amazing

We went during a very quiet period and but had to wait for the bar lady for a really long time to make change and give our drinks. I think it was so quiet we we a bit overlooked. The dawn and golf landscape can be maintained better.

Staff were really amazing. We had a clean and comfortable self catering unit. We really enjoyed the amenities. The resort is in a very central area, close to hiking and mountain biking spots. Stunning views and location

Kitchen could use an upgrade, and also maybe the kitchen equipment, otherwise very clean kitchen

We hoped to do some fishing but it seems like the fish were few. If you'll can look into breathing more fish so that those who enjoy the sport would take interest that would be great

Mooi locatie

Wij waren in de winter waardoor het huisje vrij koud was. Enige manier om het warm te krijgen was met de houtkachel. Dit hout kon je bij de receptie krijgen maar hier moest je extra voor betalen. Dit zou gratis moeten zijn omdat je anders het huisje niet comfortabel krijgt. Basisbehoefte voor in de winter.

De receptie was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De huisjes zijn eigenlijk niet geschikt voor verhuur in de winter. De verwarming moet door middel van houthaard voor de woonkamer/keuken en de slaapkamers met een klein elektrisch kacheltje voor de slaapkamers. Daarnaast kan het geheel wel wat onderhoud en modernisering gebruiken.

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast was OK, 2 of the 3 breakfast had been served of the menu not a buffet, it was average. Overall it was a good stay.

I didn't like the buffet breakfast set up, those pots are so old and very unappealing.

Schöner Kinderspielplatz, schöne Aussicht auf die drakensberge. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Resort mit verschiedenen unternehmungsmöglichleiten und tollen großen und sauberen Chalets. Auch für nicht-golfspieler zu empfehlen da viele tolle weitere Dinge zu tun sind.

WLAN hat nicht gut funktioniert in unserem Chalet. Leider zu dieser Zeit kein Buffet sondern nur a la carte im restaurant... Heizungen hätten im Winter etwas größer und stärker sein können.

Ruim huisje met prachtig uitzicht in een geweldig mooi gebied. In het restaurant kun je prima eten (buffet) en ook het ontbijtbuffet was heel goed. We hebben er 3 nachten geslapen en het prima naar onze zin gehad.

He was winter, dus de nachten zijn fris. Gelukkig zijn er twee elektrische kacheltjes, vele dekens én een open haard (hout verkrijgbaar bij de receptie)in het huisje aanwezig. Overdag was het trouwens lekker weer en een beetje klooien met vuur 's avonds verhoogt de sfeer. Dus al met al: dikke prima!

The spa. This is the second time we’ve had an issue with it. La vita needs better staff and facilities. We booked elsewhere nearby and loved it.

The Good: The hospitality from the staff was excellent. The receptionist at check-in was incredibly friendly, and the cleaning staff were warm, welcoming, and did their jobs to perfection. The cleanliness of the facility is extremely good.

The Bad: Unfortunately, the other facilities are very poor. The restaurant lacks proper service skills, and we found a hair in our vegetarian meal. More importantly, the security facility is extremely poor—we had an upsetting incident with a security alert regarding our car. ​

The staff at the restaurant were an absolute pleasure - great hospitality and cosy fire place!

Has a nice concept of a resort, the self catering had everything needed and spacious.

The place needs a touch of upgrading. WiFi in the rooms is non existent. Went to have breakfast and all of a sudden it’s buffet and the normal menu isn’t used, some form of communication in this regard would have been good.

Needs some maintenance

The lady at reception was so friendly and very helpful, we were greeted with a smile and felt very welcomed. There are so many activities for the kids, they particularly enjoyed the pools and slides. We had a really enjoyable 2 nights and can't wait to come back.

De speelmogelijkheden

Hygiëne van bijvoorbeeld het zwembad of de speelkamer waar geen plafond meer aanwezig was. Restaurant was te vol terwijl we niet werden gewezen op vooraf reserveren

入住的几天挺开心的，孩子们很喜欢那里的蹦床，我们使用了烧烤设施。各方面还算中规中矩。

卫生状况有待改善。餐厅的餐巾很旧已经起球了，而且不太干净。房间里的椅子上有头发。为了保持卫生，我们使用自己带的床单，同行的朋友说他们床单上有头发。 由于房子设计的原因，房梁上有两片黄色的玻璃会投进外面的太阳光，导致每天早上六点房间里就亮了，显然影响睡眠。不过这样倒是可以让孩子们早起。

Good location. The place was cleaned almost every day. Friendly staff. We cleaned the BBQ ourselves. Tip! The Valley Bakery nearby offers a delicious and affordable breakfast. The Valley Bakery Also, Thokozisa Restaurant is beautiful! And relax at Drakensberg Chocolate Memories. There’s also a spa on the premises—great massages for a good price. Winnie is really good! Fantastic surroundings. Take a day trip to The Cascades ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/d834kX7RiFxPG8D66 ) amazing with kids.

It did feel a bit “smudgy.” The doors were dirty, there were ants in the bathroom, and the pool had algae. The floor inside the cottage was clean, though.

The room was comfortable with all the necessary items for a two to three nights stay. Plenty of activities for the kids. The resort is also close to all amenities.

Nothing to do with the property itself but the roads leading to Champagnes Valley are deteriorating. Lots of potholes and uneven road surfaces. Try and use a vehicle with good ground clearance like an SUV.

It was quite cold in the unit. The heater stove helped a lot, but did not smell good with wood burning. Someone had used the fridge for storing fish. It had a bad smell to it!

.Didn't like much. would not recommend if coming as a couple. the entertainment room felt like it needed a total revamp. smelt and dirty carpets.

The breakfast was fair and basic with limited options. You were compelled to take the dinner buffet or order a pizza. The dinner buffet was also pretty sad. If you looking for a mountain view this is definitely not the place for you. The rooms are extremely standard with yellowed sheets and smelly carpets.

We arrived late and the receprion was already closed but constant communication with the staff was in progress until we got to the place. We were warmly welcomed by the security guard who had the room keys and guided us through and gave us the short tour and guidelines of the place.

The location is good and too far off the main road. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

I feel like the restaurant/menu and gaming area needs an update. It’s just something to note but we really enjoyed our stay an how the staff are so helpful and friendly.

Value for money - very good accommodation

Good quality accommodation and catering/bar service. Sydney was great as were Princess and Charmaine. Nkosi at reception was most efficient. Thank you Charmaine for your lovely gesture of free wine with the delicious buffet as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary.

The staff was excellent from check in, restaurant through checkout. The play areas were very good for the kids. The golf course is in good condition.

All their rooms and facilities are very dated. Poor maintenance on courts, game room was filthy, our room was hardly properly cleaned until we complained. Restaurant menu is limited and they tried to shove a buffet down our throat.
