Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The staff were so unbelievably helpful. Took my bag up to my room, and always with a smile and happy to help. Was so impressed with the excellent service. Bed was very comfortable, and nice bathroom. Pool a great bonus too.
Would have been nice to have some tables by the pool area and a ladder to get in and out. But minor things.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Sympathie du personnel professionnalisme propreté finalement bien placé à côté d'un grand mall où on peut tout trouver à côté d'un night market avec des prix sympa je dirais 2 minutes à pied seven eleven à côté enfin bref il y a tout nous on partait de l'hôtel souvent le soir pour aller jusqu'à old city en gros une vingtaine voire 30 minutes à pied c'était parfait nous avion une chambre qui donnait direct sur la piscine très agréable le déjeuner servi sur la terrasse devant la piscine

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026The breakfast was amazing! They brought it to our patio & it was delicious in a very beautiful setting. The service was wonderful! Everyone was very helpful & kind & friendly.
The mattress was a little on the hard side for us, but some people may like more stiff mattresses. It was a little difficult to find a taxi in that particular area, but otherwise everything was perfect! It is very close to the airport. It is also close to the airport shopping plaza which offers a mall like setting with numerous stores. There is more opportunity to find a taxi there, & the mall is within walking distance. We would definitely go back & stay there again!

במקלחת כדאי לשים רובה . ארוחת בוקר פשוטה אבל מגישים ישר למרפסת אז היה ממש כיף.

Het is geen min puntje maar good to know is dat er de dag opvoorhand een a la carte ontbijt word gevraagd

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026Petit déjeuner simple mais largement suffisant. Propreté impeccable, établissement agréable où le calme règne, on s’y sent tellement bien. Le personnel est très agréable, les chambres étaient chaque jour rangées avec de nouvelles serviettes, au top!
La proximité d’un chien voisin qui a aboyé toute une nuit, dommage que l’insonorisation ne soit pas suffisante on entend les voisins de chambre tousser.

La situation géographique entre des routes passantes mais c est le cas souvent dans ces villes et ce n est pas de leur faute . Le petit déjeuner est peu inventif. On pourrait imaginer de la confiture maison.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Wir haben die Unterkunft gewählt, da sie nahe am Flughafen liegt. Zu Fuß in die Alrtadt dauert es ca. 25. Minuten, oder man bucht einen Transport über Grab. Gefallen hat uns die Größe des Zimmers und, dass alles tip top sauber war.
Flughafenshuttle wird erst ab 9 Uhr angeboten., aber mit Grab oder Taxi kein Problem dorthin zu kommen. Wir finden den Preis für die Unterkunft zu teuer. Die Nähe zum Flughafen rechtfertigt den Preis nicht. Der Duschknopf war nicht fest. Die Fugen der Duschkabine sind gammelig.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025Wir waren zu einer Zeit in Chiang Mai in der fast alle Hotels ausgebucht waren - das war unser Glück. So sind wir auf dieses Haus gestoßen. Ein traditionelles Teak-Haus - offen und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war für mich ausgezeichnet - ich liebe Reissuppe, für meine Partnerin in Ordnung. Großes Plus ist die Nähe zum Kadmanee-Market - ein Paradies für Thai-Food Liebhaber. Auch die Nähe zum Flughafen fanden wir sehr angenehm. Fluglärm hatten wir zu keiner Zeit wahrgenommen. Auch sonst ist das Hotel gut gelegen - ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum, mit Grab/TukTuk entsprechend schneller. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt ein absolutes Highlight auf unserer Reise, an das wir uns gerne zurück erinnern.

Not near restaurants, etc. Not a bad walk, but this does limit the hotel. Not just here, but this happens over and over in Thailand - tell the staff you do not eat meat and then get a big plateful of meat at breakfast. This was corrected, but I just wish they would write it down once.

Reviewed Nov 11, 2025Die Unterkunft hat uns vom Ambiente sehr gut gefallen. Frühstück wird auf Wunsch zubereitet. Das Personal ist sehr umsichtig und freundlich. Wir wurden ohne zusätzliche Kosten zum nahegelegenen Flughafen gefahren. Außerdem wurden Postkarten für uns bei der Post aufgegeben.
Die Stadt fußläufig zu erreichen ist zwar möglich (ca. 30 Minuten), aber doch etwas weit. Mit einem Grab/ Bolt ist man allerdings günstig und schnell in der Stadt. Außerdem liegt das Hotel noch im Abholbereich für verschiedene Ausflüge, so dass man darüber gut hinweg sehen kann.

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025I was on the 2nd floor, so I'm not sure about the 1st floor, but it was really noisy. I stayed for about 2 weeks and almost every night I could hear people walking, talking, and living their life next door. The floor will move when they move too quickly. There are signs that tell guests to keep it down and they provide shoes to help with sound and to keep the teak wood healthy. I believe the hotel is very aware of the issue, however, without guests really understanding the rooms are boutique and made of special woods that can carry sound and vibrate, the hotel will continue to receive a 4 star rating in this category. It really deserves 5 stars for absolutely everything else. I'll miss my time at Baan U Sabai and the friendly cute staff!!!! Maybe I'll book a room downstairs and see if it's different!

It's near the airport and people are often staying to do tours and can be a bit loud throughout the night. The walls aren't the thickest, but there are signs that notify guests to keep quiet, because the hotel is mostly teek wood. It's very cool looking and makes for awesome photos, but sound travels a bit. If you're really picky I'd bring earplugs, or just get used to it. Great value for the price, honestly.
