We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hosts made it very comfortable and felt like home. Our room was spacious and spotless. We will definitely be back.

I had such a wonderful time here. Daina went above and beyond, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The bed was comfy, the room and bathroom were clean and spacious, the breakfast was varied and tasty. I would definitely recommend it.

Not a problem for me, but worth bearing in mind if you’re not bringing a car that it is a little walk to town, and from town, it takes a while to get to Niagara Falls on WeGo transport if that’s what you’re coming for. You’ll just need to plan your day accordingly. With a car, you’ll have no problems at all.

We had a wonderful stay! Daina is a very kind, friendly, and welcoming host. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and clearly made with love and care. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Our room was super clean, comfortable, and cozy. We really appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was. The location is also perfect — close to everything and in a beautiful area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you, Daina, for making our stay so nice!

Daina was a wonderful host, a marvellous cook and so very kind. She helped us find shortcuts to great cycling, tips for the best fruit markets and reco’s for restaurants. Breakfast was simply delicious both mornings and the conversations were delightful.

The hosts Daina, Heinz and James were wonderful. So welcoming, accommodating and genuinely nice people. The room was quaint, very clean, comfy bed and beautiful linen. Even fresh flowers by the bed. Breakfast was the best - different every day - and made with such thoughtfulness. It was a joy to stay and we highly recommend.

A beautiful and quiet B&B with a super friendly and knowledgeable host, hearty breakfast made from local ingredients, plenty of free parking and a secure garage for our bikes, lovely gardens, and a comfy and relaxing room.

We had an exceptional experience at this B&B. The home was spotless and beautiful. The room was perfect with a comfy bed and sparkling, modern ensuite bathroom. The yard and garden is exceptional with a lovely area to sit and relax. The hosts were SO friendly and hospitable. The breakfasts...oh the breakfasts...each day was better than the last!!! We loved the location as it was easy to ride our bikes into town or to connect with the Niagara River Parkway. We had a perfect getaway for our 40th wedding anniversary. HIGHLY recommended!

3 mornings, 3 fabulous breakfasts. Dinah accommodated our dietary restrictions with delicious food. She was also knowledgeable about the Shaw Festival.

Les propriétaires sont attentifs et accueillants.Très bons déjeuners. On pouvait laisser nos vélos dans le garage. Très beau quartier. Dîna, son mari et son fils sont des personnes vraiment très gentilles et intéressantes.

Il y a un chat et je suis allergique mais mon corps n’a aucunement réagi et Dîna m’a même offert de changer de maison si je le voulais.

The breakfasts each morning were scrumptious and varied. Fresh hot pastries, pancakes, omelets, oatmeal were served in a very cozy dining area. The owners of the property were very gracious and accommodating. The bed and breakfast was a short walk away from the main streets in Niagara on the Lake.

Everything met our expectations.

Our hostess was amazing and the stay had everything we needed including an ensuite bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious. She took the time to get to know what we liked and made some great suggestions for local recommendations.

Delicious breakfasts and delightful hostess and host, who shared excellent ideas for things for us to do. They helped make our first visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake a real joy.

I booked this Bed and Breakfast to stay the weekend while running my first marathon in Niagara. The property is simply gorgeous inside and out with beautiful gardens and landscaping accessible for guests and a cozy and clean atmosphere inside the home. I stayed upstairs in a lovely suite with lots of space for me to rest and feel comfortable before and after my race. Parking and accommodations were easy and the host made it feel like a home. Thank you for everything!

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh berries from the garden - scones hot out of the oven. Superb. Everything was lovely. Coffee was hot and im always eager to have that first cup. A definite win.

The hosts were very friendly, sociable and inviting. They made some good recommendations for places to go. Her breakfast selection was great.

The host family were very warm and hospitable. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable king bed and the ensuite bathroom was modern and very clean. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We had a lovely stay.

Nothing to dislike but there is a friendly family cat on site. Even though I have a cat allergy, it was not a problem in the room as the cat did not enter the room.

Great location to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. Owner was very friendly, very easy going. Lovely neighbourhood. Great room with an en suite washroom. We had everything we needed.

The breakfast was completely different every day, and each day it was superb. The food was healthy, interesting, generous, fresh, homemade and beautifully presented. We've never had better. Our hostess was friendly and very helpful. She was both relaxed and attentive...a good combination!

Blackout blinds or curtains would be a welcome addition to our otherwise lovely and spacious room.

This was my first stay in a B & B and it felt like staying in a home away from home. The hostess was very welcoming and gracious. The breakfast was amazingly delicious!!! I wish I remembered to take pictures of the tasty breakfast, but I was too busy enjoying every bite. Our room was clean and comfortable - true to the pictures:) I would not hesitate coming back:D

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a beautiful ensuite bathroom. The breakfasts were unique and delicious. The hostess was great company, genuinely cared about your stay and enjoyment of the trip, and very kind.

The only thing I would change is my work schedule to be able to visit more often.

Slightly too far to walk into town for people in their 60's

This B&B was delightful! Our host Daina was gracious and welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable. And the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely breakfasts; relaxed ambience in a quiet part of town; congenial hostess with excellent knowledge of the Shaw plays. No problem with charging our pluggable hybrid car. The distance to the Festival theatres looked slightly more than ideal but wasn't an issue since we could use the ample free parking half way there on King Street.

The breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of food. We really appreciated that Daina made a special effort to cater for a gluten free guest. Very welcoming and hospitable host.

This is an ideal location, and the service is amazing. I cannot say enough about the home cooked breakfast. You really feel at home in this B & B. Daina is a lovely hostess.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cedar Gables! It’s a beautiful home on a quiet street with easy diagonal off street parking. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and immaculately clean. Dinah, our hostess, was so friendly and accommodating! Our breakfast was delicious and the conversation was stimulating! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Gables! We loved our room, it was very tidy and peaceful, and Diana was a wonderful host. Breakfast was a highlight, and the proximity to town made for lots of exploring on foot and bike, which we loved!

Beautiful quiet neighborhood and while it was farther from Queen Street it was very close to wineries! Very reasonable compared to many. Nicely renovated bathroom.

Niagara-on-the Lake is definitely one of our favorite places to go to for a long weekend. Cedar Gables Bed & Breakfast isn't right in the center of town but it's only a few blocks away in a lovely, quiet location. The hosts, Daina and Heinz are wonderful. They made our trip even more enjoyable.

Liked everything

Hosts were cordial and friendly, but not overbearing. They gave guidance on where to park, places to go, and local products. The breakfasts were delicious and enough to hold us over to dinner. Started with fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade granola, OJ, and different fresh baked goods every morning (croissants, blueberry muffins, scones) with local jams. Followed up with hot food - omelet, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, smoked salmon, potato pancakes - something different every day. Open to accommodating food allergies or preferences. Quiet neighborhood and off street parking. Very clean, comfortable room.

Some guests might be put off that you are in the owners' home and share living spaces (entry, yard, sitting room) with them. We enjoyed their company, and had ample privacy and space to relax in our room with ensuite bathroom.

Dinah was great. She was friendly without being over the top. Location is good but too far to walk to downtown Niagara-On-The-Lake or Shaw Festival. Parking was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Also cold drinks or coffee or tea available any time.
