Glendine Country House

Choice of rooms once we arrived due to husband’s bum leg

Wonderful B&B! Room was comfortable. Breakfast yummy and several options. The ferry to Waterford is worth it!! Really convenient if you’re headed that direction. This whole B&B is DEFINITELY worth the money.

This was an exceptional setting, lovely house, exotic animals in fields nearby. Absolutely lovely welcome, fantastic breakfast Tom. In the coffee area , complimentary cakes, teas, biscuits. Lovely kind touch. Flowers on all breakfast table. Ann and Tom were so helpful with maps, dining options. Well done.

Best sleep ever followed by a top-notch breakfast!

Beautiful view, especially when the owner moved his cows to the field right outside our window! only 2 minute walk into the town center. nice!

A wonderful place to stay, welcoming and very comfortable.

A wonderful B&B and lovely hosts!

Lovely farm home stay. Spacious room with good amenities. Enjoyed seeing the deer in the back yard.

Beautiful. A little rustic.

Beautiful venue, woke up to a view of the ocean, fab breakfast, such friendly staff. Couldn't recommendations enough!

Just a wonderful place to stay very peaceful clean and charming. The owners and staff are so nice

Great Place to Stay. We'll be back

Great experience, quaint environment and restful stay. Internet was weak.

Ann was great! The B&B is just a wonderful place with beautiful grounds. The room was spacious and quiet. We asked for extra bedding and were graciously accommodated. The breakfast was wonderful and so were the staff! We would definitely stay here again!

Marvellous period home. Room was spacious and quite lovely. Scrumptious breakfast.

They are the kindest people I have ever met Highly recommended , definatly am comming back again

Thank you Ann and Tom, A very pleasant and comfortable stay. We really appreciated your assistance with pharmacy contact and directions. Sincerely, Shirley and Brian

It’s always a pleasure to stay at the glendine.

Tom and Anne were excellent hosts and room was both comfortable and very clean and generous in size. Breakfast options both continental and cooked were very good as was the quality. Parking on the property freely available and. Very quiet environment in which to relax.

Amazing view from the room!! Comfy bed making for a great sleep.

Warm welcome to a beautiful country house, room was spacious and warm with amazing view, friendly staff and great food.

The B&B is a beautiful old home with multiple floors but very quiet! Breakfast is amazing and the staff super helpful and kind. Thanks to Louise and April for making sure my thermos was filled with ice daily. It’s the little touches that made my stay memorable. The sheep outside my window are adorable too!

This property was beautiful. The grounds were wonderful and well kept. The inn was very of the beaten path, so there wasn’t much nearby (we did go in the off season, so that didn’t help). Staff was wonderful. The only drawback was that the beds were very stiff.

Anne, our host, was very welcoming and put us at our ease. The room had a lovely outlook on the estuary and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb - lots of fresh fruit and compotes and tasty cooked dishes. The area is very convenient for exploring the SE of Ireland. We stayed 4 nights but would have needed many more to exhaust all the opportunities. There are good eating establishments nearby ranging from basic to fine dining nearby but they are not always open. The information about them could be brought up to date. Overall a wonderful stay and we were sad to leave.

A very friendly and welcoming host.the house was immaculate and the room was very comfortable. A lot of thought has gone in to making one’s stay as homely as possible, with two refreshment stations and a sitting room dedicated to guests. I would highly recommend it to others.

The property is beautiful and in a wonderful rural setting. The is ample car parking. Genuinely dog friendly. Great area for walking dogs on site. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Property is spotless. Has a real hotel feel about it.

Superb bnb! Excellent location. Room and new bed were first class. Excellent breakfast made better by the great service from April and her two colleagues. Very accommodating hosts who clearly take great pride in maintaining and improving their wonderful house. We cannot recommend too highly. Dog friendly too! Just book it!

we have been staying at glendine house for twice a year for ten years ,which tells you everything

It was amazing to stay here for the 3rd time. But this time we brought our dog and it was just perfect.

We had such a nice time at our recent stay here. We had never been here or to the area before, and it was all tremendous. The house itself is warm and charming, our room was great, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was a great experience that we miss already. We will certainly be back someday.

Great place to stay if visiting the area near Waterford Our room was big and very comfortable The only down side was the door of the room that, if not careful, closes with a big bang

Our hosts welcomed us into their home and we did feel very much "at home". Their friendly and approachable nature were a feature of our stay and made our holiday memorable. We must bring our golf clubs next time! The room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent and relaxed. A re-visit is planned.

This is a must stay place. Fantastic property, lovely hosts, incredibly delicious breakfast and the surrounding area is sublime.

Very good. Excellent hosts, great breakfast, lovely staff. Made us very welcome and gave us lots of advice about the area and also places to dine out. Took us to the restaurant and the restaurant brought us back.

Beautiful period property with stunning grounds, run by a super friendly family. Ann is a wonderful host - great breakfast and supplies of tea and biscuits whenever you like. Location and views were amazing. Very relaxed stay, great base to explore all that Wexford has to offer. Lively pub/restaurant a short stroll away - (Kings Bay Inn) and Dunbrody House across the way. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. We were made to feel very welcome at all times. Our room was lovely and we had beautiful views. Great breakfast with lovely local foods and a very good choice. Would not hesitate to recommend Glendine House.

Sadly the shower was dirty, but thankfully cleaned after our first night. Otherwise a good place to stay.

This B&B was lovely. It was spacious and clean. Breakfast were delicious and served to us by charming staff.

Excellent. Beautiful country house and grounds with patio tables and chairs. Lovely large room overlooking the sea. Fridge on landing for your wine and water! Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits .

Loved the long horn cattle and deer in the gsrden in front of house. So beautiful and peaceful. You can bring your dog too.

Best B & B we have ever stayed at. Loved my window with views of the water and the baby cows running and playing in the field. Breakfast was wonderful.

This was the most beautiful quiet quaint B&B I have ever been to. Beautiful Rooms spacious clean lovely. The owners were wonderful so friendly. They had 3 Scottish highland cows on the farm and it was hilarious! We took so many photos! They are beautiful they had deers and beautiful gardens.

Charming place, lovely atmosphere!

We loved everything about Glendine Farm House! The owners and staff are friendly and amazing customer service! The beautiful grounds, and the Highland cows in the front pasture are a highlight…..not to mention the domestic deer, a neighbors horse and Jacob sheep in other surrounding pastures. It was so unique and wonderful. There was an array of many good foods but a notable breakfast on the menu was the veggie omelet. I can’t say enough good about this place. Also, Arthurstown is a neat place to stay with local pubs and restaurants, quiet country town and close to Waterford-just a short Ferry ride across the water.

Fond memories of old friends Property really great - reminded me of my first visit to Passage East some forty years ago and meeting Dermott Heffernan - a wonderful brother and friend - and to stay so close to where he lived was marvellous - hosts at Glendine were so welcoming and friendly and the kingsize bed room ensuite was really great even by Irish standards - must return for a further visit and to rediscover Waterford & surrounding areas - And to be able to again meet up with our other friends - Jim and Nora heggarty on the other side of the river - Thanks for hospitality and enabling us to again visit this part of ireland

It was a relaxing and welcoming hotel. The whole are The cleanliness was obvious. The hosts were welcoming and informative about the local area. Interested in the guests plans without being intrusive. They were also very accommodating when we were late for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to others

Lovely room, tastefully furnished. Tasty breakfast, well presented. Beautiful decor throughout the property.

Beautiful old house and very friendly couple who run it/ own it. Homemade bread and cake. Delicious breakfasts. Very helpfully allowed us to charge our electric bikes in their barn.

Arthurstown is a lovely little spot and we had lovely walks with our dog, nobody had issues with dogs any location we went, we loved it! So close to Duncannon, the beach is gorgeous, hook head etc or just go for a relaxing stay

Very hospitable and welcoming. Excellent breakfast and a lovely location. Thank you very much!

A lovely, wonderful property with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Their attention to cleanliness was very reassuring in these uncertain COVID-19 times. We received a very warm welcome and we were so happy there we stayed another night. Our hosts did everything to make our stay a memorable one. We will return!

Short get away. Very nice hosts.

Quelle suprise!! This was a last minute booking - we have previously stayed in Duncannon and when our usual accommodation was not available I let the internet do its thing and it threw up Glendine Country House. The photos on the website are lovely but sometimes photos are not a true reflection of the accommodation but in this case they are. We had a lovely stay and were royally welcomed by Anne and Tom who

We had an amazing time. The Glendine is like a home away from home. We were so well looked after that we did not want to go home. We will be coming back again next year, if not sooner because it is the Glendine that makes the break such a memorable one. 5+ Stars for the Glendine, best B+B in Ireland.

Exceptional location, super friendly and accommodating staff, gorgeous, substantial breakfast and very spacious, comfy room. Overall a fantastic B&B which meets a very high standard

Beautiful location, beautiful room and fantastic breakfast!

Wonderful place with great hosts. Lots of great places to see in the Hook Peninsula with a really nice pub within walking distance. Ann and Tom had wonderful ideas of things to do - including the Irish Ploughing Competition. Castles and Abbeys in the area are a treat. Will definitely go back. Thanks Ann and Tom and the cows and the sheep and the deer! Our room was spacious and clean with a perfect view of the King's Bay and countryside - can't say enough good. NOTHING bad. Oh Yeah, the breakfasts are stupendous!
