La propreté de l'appartement est très limite. Les draps et les serviettes sont plus jaunes que blancs. Le canapé est défoncé. L'ensemble de l'appartement et de la résidence manque d'entretien. Le propriétaire était aux abonnés absents et n'a pas répondu à nos mails, notamment pour avoir les codes du Wifi mentionné dans l'annonce.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Instructions to check in was given on time and easy to follow. There was ample parking space. The surrounding of the place was clean and beautiful. You can see the pool and the clear sky from the balcony. The pool was great and we also love the beach. Its near Kemaman (I had a meeting here) so this is definitely a perfect choice for a short working plus getaway. The place was super clean, the AC is cool and my husband loved the fact that he gets to watch the World Cup from the tv. The owner is very responsive and answered all our questions patiently.
If you want to swim at the beach, this is not the place cos the water was a bit muddy the entire time we were there.

The apartment was comfortable overall, but the lighting was quite dim. I also noticed that several other guests mentioned the same issue in their reviews. It would be great if brighter lights could be installed, particularly in the bedroom and living room. Additionally, the pool was closed from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on our check-out day, which was disappointing as my kids were looking forward to a swim before we left. 😊

The room was slightly subpar compared to other units in the same building. All the windows were left open by the previous cleaning staff, and the room was full of mosquitoes when we came in.

The aircondition in the room wasnt working. When we arrived the washroom was wet and the furniture in the lounge was all haphazardly placed. The curtains were in bad condition. We couldn't sleep at night due to air-conditioning not working. The owner upon multiple inquiry conveyed that the technician is on leave so we were left helpless. The samsuria resort used to be one of the best resorts in cherating but now in very bad condition. No clenaing in the lobby or resort premises.very limited facilities.

Reviewed May 22, 2025We're happy staying at your stay. The apartment was amazing.. very comfortable but the facilities such as swimming pool closed so early, at 7pm. And master bedroom water heater not working and aircond not functioning well and the aircond fan is very noisy.. other than that, everything was fine..
Please ask the maintenance to check the defects before open for guests.. tq.. 😊

Building quite old, not maintain well. shower head leaking. Tv Wifi not stable keep not signal. The Bed can feel spring Initially we have book 2 apartment with 3 rooms. But 1 room having smoking smells from previous customer. We do request to exchange the room. Unfortunately no other 3 rooms available. End out they do change 2 bedroom +single room. Locate different block. Meals not so easy to find either have to go to kuantan town 30min drive or kemaman 30min away.

Reviewed Feb 2, 2025I love the facility, it was big and comfortable. The location is just a short drive away from Sg. Ular where you would be spoilt with choices of restaurants. And an excellent host who is so friendly and very helpful in providing suggestions where to go for good food.
Nothing about the house but I wish bbq pits could be provided near the beach

The water heaters in two toilets were not function at all. I have booked two bedrooms, both are out of service. I did ask the receptionist to change room but it was not entertained. They are supposed to check the condition of the water heater before the customer arrived. It is very unbecoming! We paid for the room with no water heater . What say you?

The property offers a peaceful environment, beautiful views, and comfortable amenities that make it an ideal spot for relaxation. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
no wifi provided. One significant drawback during my stay was the lack of WiFi provided. In today's connected world, having access to WiFi is essential, whether for work, staying in touch with family, or planning local activities. Unfortunately, this missing feature made it inconvenient for me to stay connected, especially since mobile data coverage in the area was also inconsistent. I believe adding WiFi access would greatly enhance the guest experience and make the stay more enjoyable for everyone. Despite this, Samsuria is a lovely place to unwind, but I would recommend they address this issue to meet modern traveler expectations.

For my unit, the induction cooker cracked already but can be used. For safety reason, I think its time to change it. And kitchen utensils also can be upgraded/refurbished.
