Leuke locatie, net op de grens van Engeland en Schotland. Mooi uitzicht op de heuvels van Northumberland.

Bedden waren te hard en geen lift waardoor er veel gesleept moest worden met koffers. Restaurant niet bijzonder maar passend bij wat je van Engeland kan verwachten.

Food was exceptional, really nice atmosphere to the hotel and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Not much around the hotel but personally I was there for work so didn’t need that. Ideal for those there for an isolated escape and some stunning views.

Had a really good experience staying here. Room was clean, seems recently done, with comfy bed and big bathroom. Breakfast was great! Very good value for UK compared to other bnbs/pubs/small hotels we’ve stayed at in the past.

The room we got was really clean, spacious and lovely. Staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and accommodating. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was really delicious and really great for the price (not expensive at all). No wonder people stop by to just eat even if they're not staying the night.

Property was fine, but as with previous booking, I wasn’t impressed with the booking process between the hotel and Booking.com

Good breakfast, lovely breakfast room & cosy atmosphere. Host really made an effort to render perfect service. Room was simple but freshly decorated and very clean with good selection of tea and coffee and nice fluffy towels. Altogether a pleasant stay.

I didn’t like the confusion at the beginning when one of my two rooms were booked. Not sure if this was a hotel or a Booking.com issue.

Everything was so lovely from the minute we arrived. Beautiful place, very clean, very friendly staff. 2 night stay for a wedding down the road. Bed was so comfortable. Food was 10/10. We had an evening meal. Delicious, big portions. Breakfast was 10/10 Perfectly cooked . In Beautiful surroundings Absolutely would recommend staying. We will be returning.

Beautiful presentation in all areas, clean and tidy with great care taken to make sure this property is very welcoming for guests by the owners. Lovely food with locally sourced quality ingredients and overall a very enjoyable stay, highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful when I needed to get the keys early for the 4 rooms we required as we weren't able to get them later on as we were at a wedding. The rooms were clean and comfy and with ensure facilities. The breakfast choices were good, and there was plenty to eat. Finally, the location and views were beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

It’s too warm in the room, when you open the window you’ll hear the traffic regularly, and unfortunately when we were there it was hot and shiny day in the region, probably not as usual as well.

Redesdale Arms had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that felt very welcoming. The rooms were recently renovated and very clean. We had a lovely view. The breakfast was also delicious and everyone extremely friendly.

Glass bottles in a packed lunch on the Pennine way were challenging- in these circumstances plastic would be better.

Great location. We had dogs with us and there is a lovely woodland walk behind the hotel (away from the main road). The staff were all helpful and very kind to our two dogs. The room was very clean and comfortable. For us, the bed was a little too soft but we like a firm bed which isn't to everyone's taste. Overall and excellent hotel with great homemade food. Will definitely stay there again enroute to Scotland.

We verbleven hier één nacht na onze rondrit in Schotland. Dit hotel is inderdaad het laatste of eerste voor de grens en een niet te missen pareltje. De kamer is van alle comfort voorzien. Er is ook een stoeltjeslift voor mensen die de trap moeilijk op kunnen. Honden zijn ook welkom. Wij aten er ook 's avonds en de Balmoral chicken is een aanrader. Continentaal ontbijt is inbegrepen dat nog wordt aangevuld met een ruime keuze aan cooked breakfast. Het personeel is ook heel vriendelijk.

Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was a decent size, with a view across the valley. The cafe attached served great coffee and had a nice selection of cakes.

The breakfast was not great. The avocado appeared to have been frozen and the defrosted. We were the only guests at breakfast and most of the cooked breakfast appeared to have been pre-cooked and then heated up in the microwave.

We were travelling from England into Scotland and the Redesdale Arms is on the A68, so very convenient. Our room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and although we didn't have an evening meal the food looked and smelled lovely. We had a drink in the small bar and were very pleased that they stocked Gluten Free beer in bottles. Our breakfast was good and catered well for Gluten Free. The staff were friendly and helpful.

What an absolute beautiful place. From Scenery to the staff. Not one fault at all. It was so comfortable in the room. The staff made you feel comfortable being around. I wish we stayed longer. But we are booking up again for the summer. My 6 year old loved every minute of being there. The little Easter egg hunt put such a smile on his face. The food was just the cherry on top. Proper home made meals and lovely deserts. Thankyou for an incredible stay.

Lovely position. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and very well presented. The breakfast choice was excellent and cooked beautifully. The evening meal was also excellent.

The room was on the first floor and there was no lift but the staircase was very wide and not too many steps. The room was too warm by evening but we were able to open the window to cool down.

The breakfast was Brilliant. All of our evening meals were superb. The Staff were all amazing. The Accommodation was immaculate. We were treated like royalty whilst we were there. Will definitely be returning for another visit in the near future. I could not fault anything about our stay at The Redesdale Arms. A million thanks to everyone involved.

Wonderful little stop on our trip! The only thing that wasn't "top marks" was b/c there was no AC, but we knew that going in. The room was clean and the staff was WONDERFUL. The breakfast was also spectacular for a free meal with the room stay. Highly recommend.

Room was above the bar which would have been fine but we had a 4 year old with us so it was a bit noisy trying to get him to sleep. However if it was just us it wouldn't have been an issue.

This was my 2nd stay at the Redesdale Arms which is located in a beautiful, slightly remote part of the English countryside that I will never tire of visiting. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful and the food is wonderful. The room was clean, warm and comfortable.

There was nothing in my visit that would cause me to think that I won't visit again.
