B&B Hotel Amsterdam-Zaandam

Hotel was clean. Comfortable bed and good shower. Decent wi fi. Friendly staff and good price compared to being in Amsterdam. Good reliable bus link to Amsterdam every 15 mins during the day.

A bit far away from any shops.About a 15 min walk. You can order in food though and they do sell some soft drinks and sweets onsite. No kettle in room so assume that is why it is a 2 star hotel.

The location is accessible to the city centre.

The AC was quite warm during our stay. We reported the issue to the staff, and he kindly transferred us to the next room, but unfortunately, the AC was still the same. We were told that the AC is centralized, so there was no way for the temperature to be adjusted individually.

El desayuno estaba bastante bien aunque nada barato.

Basicamente no me gusto nada. Habitaciones minusculas, alejado del centro, y nada comodo porque esta en un poligono con todo de obras que tienes que cruzar la autovia por un puente, ascensores. Solo lo recomendaria si se tiene coche y pocas noches. Tasas turisticad abusivas para estar en un poligono con 0 comodidades

Vriendelijk personeel, nette kamers.

Het is een mini mini kamer waar je met twee personen amper kan bewegen.

Het hotel is 24 uur per dag geopend en is goed bereikbaar. Parkeren voor de deur is ook makkelijk. De kamer was comfortabel.

Graag hadden we vooraf informatie ontvangen over de kosten van de overnachting voor onze twee Jack Russel Pups. Onze kamer en badkamer waren zeer matig schoongemaakt.

De kamer was keurig schoon. En het ontbijt was prima.

De kamer was wel echt krap, al was dat van te voren bekend. Plek van het hotel naast een autoweg op een industrieterrein is niet erg uitnodigend.

Chambre propre. Excellent petit déjeuner. Hôtel bien situé par rapport aux transports en commun.

Chambre exiguë. Manque un "posé valise". Ménage à notre demande et pas systématique. Travaux à proximité pour rejoindre les transports en commun. Pas de mini frigo dans la chambre ni de ser d'accueil ( café, thé).

Hotel molto pulito e accogliente, con camere ottime. Uno staff disponibile e professionale. Posizione ottima se oltre al centro città si vuole visitare anche paesi vicini, in ogni caso facilmente raggiungibile con Uber. Molto piacevole la calma delle camere.

We ended up cancelling our booking with B & B Hotels due to its location and overall set up, found very inconvenient reaching to the location as by train from the airport, then bus, then about 30 minutes of walking and crossing through a temporary bridge under construction made us really upset. It didn't meet our expectations out of six other hotels we stayed throughout our recent trip in Europe and Scandinavia.

Il parcheggio nel piazzale di fronte era a pagamento (10€) anche per gli ospiti dell’hotel senza un apparente sbarra che lo dividesse e quindi non sembrano molto custodito.

Le stanze sono piccole ma carine.La colazione varia e abbondante sia dolce che salato. Unica pecca non ci avevano informato come funzionava per la pulizia e cambio asciugamani, praticamente siamo stati 3 giorni senza nessuna pulizia della camera e cambio asciugamani. Posizione comoda per prendere autobus per muoversi.

The room looks much bigger in the photos, room had a weird smell, no storage space, 30 minutes from centre with an uber, nothing neat the hotel (no shops, restaurants etc). Would not recommend.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind klein und relativ einfach ausgestattet, wie man es von vielen B&B Hotels kennt, es war jedoch alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Zimmer und alle Einrichtungen des Hotels waren sehr sauber. Das Zimmer hatte eine kombinierte Heizung/Klimaanlage, das Fenster ließ sich ebenfalls öffnen, was ich als großen Vorteil empfinde. Das Frühstück für 12,90 EUR war sehr gut und bot viel Auswahl. Es wurde auch stetig nachgelegt, wenn etwas zur Neige ging. Die Lage in einem Gewerbegebiet ist okay, es gibt eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe, von der aus man sehr gut mit dem ÖPNV nach Amsterdam Central oder in die andere Richtung z.B. nach Zaanse Schans fahren kann. Essensmöglichkeiten sind etwas weiter weg, sodass man am besten sein Abendessen auf dem Heimweg zum Hotel einplant. Das Hotel bietet jedoch auch eine kleine Auswahl an Snacks zum Erwerb an oder man lässt sich Essen liefern. Der Parkplatz ist ausreichend groß, Parken kostet 10 EUR pro Tag. Es gibt in der Nähe keine Restaurants, da das Hotel in einem Gewerbegebiet liegt. Man muss also sein Abendessen auf dem Heimweg einplanen oder sich etwas liefern lassen. Beides ist jedoch gut machbar.

Für eine Übernachtung in Zaandam gebucht. War alles da, was man gebraucht hat, wenn auch sehr eng. Frühstück war gut. Preisleistung super. Liegt etwas außerhalb in einem Industriegebiet.

L'hôtel est situé à seulement 10 min de marche d'un arrêt de bus pour aller à Amsterdam. Il y a possibilité de prendre des tickets directement à l'hôtel. Petit snack à la réception à toute heures. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon.

La chambre est petite et la réceptionniste m'a dit que c'était pas normal de prendre une chambre pour 2 personnes avec un bébé de 8 mois. Que j'aurais dû prendre une chambre 3 personnes, je demande donc le prix et elle me dit que c'est ok comme ça. Or si je prends une chambre 3 personnes la taille sera la même car j'aurais un lit supplémentaire donc pas de place supplémentaire pour le lit parapluie... L'accueil est donc à revoir ou alors noté bien sur la réservation vos conditions !

An sich ein schönes neues B+B die Zimmer sind auch nicht abgewohnt im Gegenteil das Bad ist klein aber die Dusche ist sehr geräumig. Etwas mehr Ablage Fläche oder ein kleiner Schrank wären gut. Das Personal sind alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Mit dem bus ist man in knapp 30min in Amsterdam und nach zaandam ins Zentrum läuft man gemütlich ebenfalls 30min oder in 10min mit dem Buß.

Die Umgebung war schön ruhig. Betten waren bequem und gut.

Fenster konnte nur gekippt werden. Relativ laut durch Parkplatz und schlagende Türen im Flur.

The staff were really helpful, particularly as there were no places to eat within 2km. They helped us to arrange food delivery from local cafes.The room was small but clean and had blackout curtains.

It was too far from the town. It feels like it's located in a light industrial area. It's probably ok if you have a car, there's paid car parking onsite.

Staff were very helpful, respectful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful. Proximity to Zaandam touristy areas (windmills, wooden shoe workshop, ...) was greatly appreciated (short ride on a single local transit bus...no need to book a tour to explore the area). Bed was very comfortable. I would go back!

Would've preferred the room to be slightly bigger, have a kettle in the room, but the value for money was relatively good so can't complain.

Great hotel! Very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. Quiet location with easy access to the city center by public transport. Excellent value for money. We would happily stay here again!

1.No water 2. No cups 3. Had to buy a cup of coffee $7eu 4. Stranded at 2 am in country never been in and front desk would not text me address to give to Uber driver. Thought we had included breakfast, but they wanted additional 28 eu to serve breakfast. I would not stay there again and I would not have booked knowing the facts we found out after landing.

The location is really far from central Zaandam. It's a 41 minute walk to the station. There are buses into central Amsterdam, which is great, but they are currently doing major roadworks. For the last two years and until at least 2028. So you are having to walk over temporarily places bridges at a great height to leave the hotel area. It's also in an industrial estate. Not a great location unfortunately

The friend was very friendly! The price-quality rate was very good. We had a nice breakfast in the morning. The room and the facilities were comfortable, too. There was plenty of parking space.

The location was a little hard to find due to current road works. Although by car it was okay.

La pulizia della stanza pessima

Das Hotel ist zwar etwas abseits vom Geschehen Amsterdam entfernt aber super durch Busverbindung erreichbar. Die Bushaltestelle ist ein paar Meter Fußweg entfernt, fährt aber regelmäßig alle 15 Minuten nach Amsterdam. Auch die Stadt Zaandam ist nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt in die entgegengesetzte Richtung. Das Personal im Hotel war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein aber für Niederländische Verhältnisse normal. Das Frühstück war lecker, es war für jeden etwas dabei. Da das Hotel im Industrie Gebiet liegt gibt es drumherum keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Kaffees zum Frühstücken, darum würde ich jedem empfehlen das Frühstück zu buchen für 12,50 €. Parkplatz kostet 10,- € pro Tag, man kann aber auch drumherum parken.

Ein Mitarbeiter in der spät bzw. Nachtschicht. Lang und Europäisches aussehen war sehr unfreundlich. Die Mitarbeiter in der früh und mittags Schicht waren sehr freundlich.

L’hôtel possède tout le minimum nécessaire, Ce n’est pas un palace mais ce n’est pas ce que l’on attend un hôtel B&B, Le rapport qualité/prix est bon. C’était très propre. J’ai beaucoup apprécié le grand rideau occultant à la fenêtre ! Ce qui permet de ne pas être réveillé dès que le soleil se lève comme dans beaucoup d’établissements.
