Just feels like things are in need of a revamp even a bit of an update. Not a complete renovation but even fresh paint and new mattresses, pillows, proper bedding😅

No appeal whatsoever. You call that a kitchen! The cupboards and drawers were empty except for 2 saucepans, mismatched horrible cutlery and three of each crockery. No wine glasses. No dishcloth. No hair dryer. No stove. No electric blanket or bed lamps. Had to get out of bed to turn out the light. One pillow each. The thinnest toilet paper ever. No air conditioning. I would expect more for a $200.00 stay.

The parking area is horrible for large vehicles. Part of the drive way is a narrow bend, and when I got to the where my room was there were no car parks and not enough space for me to turn my ute around. Backing back out the narrow bend is shit. The pool is empty and room is basic. Not worth the price they charge. I dont recommend the place.

Convenient for a gig nearby, clean and comfy.

Furnishings a bit dated but grand for a night. Also not many food options for dinner in the area.

Booked a female employee here to attend a training course. Misrespresented in the photos and not at all what is advertised. When checking in, the person was surprised she was staying 4 nights. Stains on bed linen, no towels, dirty room, outside leared out by male quests over a balcony. No aircon, needing to keep door locked to feel safe. Left and rebooked at other accommodation. Booked via booking.com. When phoned Avondale Motor Inn, advised was booked via Agoda. Wasn't helpful. Have emailed Booking.com x 2 - no response. Found out from a local later that Avondale Motor Lodge is known to be used by prostitutes and for drug deals - you can book for 1 hour times - no wonder there was surprise she was staying 4 nights and was leared at. Do not book here. Paid 4 nights. Didn't stay and no refund.

Situation of motel was fine for what we were in Auckland for.

This motel should say that they are an emergency housing motel . The showers were Luke warm cold by the second shower. Also didn't drain the water just pooled in bottom of shower tray .Bed uncomfortable and pillows to hard .Update the photos on the booking page . Will not stay there again .

The place is a dump. The photos are nothing like reality in fact they are blatant lies. Do not waste your money and stay here. How they are still on Booking Dotcom is beyond me they need to be removed immediately.

Everything pretty picture from front but go dow.n driveway what a shambles nothing like the picture.really disappointing. No park manager didn't care well she didn't know. And for that price gosh I've stayed in cheaper facilities than that & the service us better the facility is better.

The closeness of where we needed to be

The shower was blocked. Full of hair. Our complementary milk had expired, our tv only worked for 5mins. The remote batteries were flat.

We had the end room, it was quiet, great size and value for money

The shub was dated but water pressure was great and the bathroom was a reasonable size, towels were soft and fluffy

It was mixed with social housing, which should not be allowed. So we had no idea we'd be staying next door to loud arguments and domestics both evening and morning. It was not cleaned properly, something from the previous guests was still on the rim of the toilet. Spider webs and cob webs everywhere. No kitchen plug to wash dishes. Guests should be warned when they book that they are staying in a social housing motel. I

The location suited us perfectly. The staff were lovely, and extremely helpful.

The pool was not operational, which was a key reason for booking the hotel, other than the location. The kitchen utensils and plates were ok, but the pots and pans were old, slightly rusted, and not safe to use. The photos on the website do not reflect the current condition of the hotel. There was no air conditioning,

Comfy bed

Very noisy permanent residents all night - adults shouting, kids screaming, cars coming and going, doors slamming... Lots of small things that could easily be rectified - no chopping board, no hand towel, no tissues, only a part roll of toilet paper, broken shower head, no bedside lamp.....

Location worked out well for us and they were accommodating for a late check in.

First impressions is that the property was not like the photos. It was really run down and appeared to have emergency accomodation there. When we left in the morning, there were young kids riding scooters and playing around vehicles in the carpark, including a young baby crawling underneath our Ute. When we arrived, the room was hot and only had 1 fan for two sleeping areas. Room was dirty, we found an empty wine bottle, RTD can, dirty glass and AirPods under the bed in the lounge, there were also cracks in the walls.

It is advertised that there is a private outdoor pool for use which is the main reason of choosing this place. However when arriving to the property ,we have found that the pool was empty and not useable. Not very happy for that.

Room was tidy and looked recently painted.

The net curtains in the lounge and 2nd bedtoom were partly hanging off, the light in the main bedroom didn't work and the TV had no sound, this was corrected by the receptionist. The advert on booking.com showed a swimming pool full of water but the pool,was empty.

Pictures don’t match online. Not very clean and bed is very uncomfortable. Pool is broken the ad is completely different to what u get. Receptionist is rude.

The accomodation is tired, and required repairs. It was lacking simple requirements like milk and toilet paper. The photo's of the site make it look better than it really is.

Location was perfect, and room was clean and reasonably comfortable for our needs. Motel needs to upgrade bedding and facilities as they didn’t exactly reflect what was shown on the website.

The beds were clean and the staff friendly. It is very central and easy to find.

We chose it because it had a pool but there was no water in it. The carpet and couch were stained. Needs some updating. Photos on the website don't match reality.

Friendly and helpful staff. Booked for 4 people but only 3 provided for and I had to make own bed on couch. Property is sufficient but quite rundown and lacking in areas.

This place was a little bit below expectations and photos. Online, this motel looks lovely and clean but in reality it is a bit of a dump. There were stains on the floor, the shower sprayed all over the bathroom, the dishes smelled funny and all together the room had an unpleasant smell that smelled like curry. We even found various different bugs such as cockroaches and spiders. Although the people were very nice, I do not recommend this stinky motel.

It is an older motel, and it's facilities are not the latest or greatest, but you don't pay as much for it as you do other places. It is easy to get around when based there, Wi-fi was acceptable, and it was quiet (actually stayed Monday through to Thursday nights). Water pressure for showering was good. I was originally worried that it may be cold, but found an extra blanket that made all the difference.

TV was pretty ordinary, and was quite a small screen. Reception wasn't consistent, and it was difficult to watch at times. Not the most comfortable of beds, and only 2 pillows, so not much to choose from if you have definite preferences!
