Having share a bed with a friend

The staff helped with as we had to arrive after the office was closed. Unit warmed up quickly as it was cold out, we appreciated their support. Thankyou.

Didn't have any dislikes, had a wonderful shower, unit was cozy.

Worst one we stayed

Poor facilities. Bed broken. Family member fell down from the bed. Porta cot did not have a mattress. Stove did not work. Only one was working. We stayed only one night and went to another place.

Booked a delux room with a spa bath, went to room and it didn’t have a spa was told spa bath not working. Had to have one night in that room which was also not the cleanest, no cooktop, silly tiny tv. The other room was better. The beds were average just two singles put together to make a king.

Price was great, and fit into my budget. Staff were very friendly, pleasant, nice, and really helpful with towel replacement requirements, etc. Location was excellent and close to amenities. Within short walking distance (800m or so) to a Westfield shopping centre with many shops, as well as a great local selection of takeaways and liquor store. A short drive or Uber into the City Centre.

Although the room was large and perfectly fit our requirements, it wasn't as clean as it could have been. The previous occupant had left a bar of soap and shaver in the shower, which hadn't been removed. There were also splash marks from either food or soap on one of the cabinets in the bathroom, and the light over the sink wasn't working. Window blinds were broken or bent, however additional curtains covered the windows, so it wasn't an issue for us, but perhaps the broken blinds could have been removed. Kitchenette was lovely and clean, and plates and cups were a great size and clean.

The Motel was in Riccarton close for shopping & restaurants.

There was a little bit of rubbish left outside rooms, it could do with a sweep.

Advertised as a two bedroom apartment with spa bath. Even when checking in they mentioned it. Tried to get it to work the first night and it's not working. Went to ask reception the next day when it was open, pressed the buzzer waited 10 mins and pressed again. No one came out, and it was definitely during opening hours. I tried to message the place through booking (as I have had good responses from other hotels before through booking messaging) and also no response. The next day I went into the office and waited a bit then pressed the buzzer. After a while someone came out and I asked how we can get the spa bath running and they said they don't have spa baths at their motel. I said there is a spa bath in our room and she said they are just normal baths, and something happened with people not filling it up enough and turning them on so they aren't allowed to use them as per council restrictions. This is false advertising, and needs to be taken off the listing. Not a very clean place and uncomfortable beds. Definitely not worth the money. Also concerning that we can't get ahold of them for a whole day. Also left their sign saying they have vacancy overnight when the office was left unnatended/closed, which I'm also sure they aren't meant to do.

Room was not clean, beds were horribly uncomfortable, couch was caved in, the table was a glass outside table so was not great for children. Dryer did not work so could wash washing but not dry. Shower temperature never stayed the same and the bath did not work. Blinds were all broken so lots of light from the street coming in. Had cooking facilities however only a bread knife?

Stayed here more then once and always enjoy our stays thank you

Very nice and spacious room. Th bed was big and extremely comfortable, the shower was great. All in all a lovely stay. We will come again and highly recommend this motel.

Having time for only 1 nights stay

Booked to check in at 11pm paid went there all locked up couldn't get in or wake anyone tried to get money back through website said I had to contact the motel rang them answered said she will ring back and didn't and never answered me again tried different phone answered and did the same thing

No tuvimos agua caliente a la noche, no salía agua caliente del grifo, recién a la mañana salió agua caliente. Había un grupo de jóvenes que se juntaron a hablar justo en la puerta de nuestra habitación a las 4 am

We have stayed in lots of motels in Christchurch and this would have to be the worst we've experienced. Arrived to find room not ready (despite having an early check in) only to get in and discover it wasn't the room I'd booked so had to wait for the right room to be cleaned. As a 'deluxe studio' it was very lacking. Rooms need a lot of general maintenance - holes in wall, broken towel rail, spa bath didnt work. Kitchen had only the bare basics. Most drawers were empty. Curtains were nearly see through which meant the streetlights/sun shone through, plus noise from the busy road and hard bed equals not a restful sleep.

No air conditioning, bugs constantly coming in due to deans bush being directly at the back door. Bed was 2 singles that kept rolling apart

It was located in a good location to get to most places.

It was less than majestic, decor is very dated. TV the same size as the microwave. There was a tv bracket in bedroom with no tv attached. The bed was not one of motel quality. Unable to relax and watch our small tv on the couch due to the state of being so over used. Leaving us no choice but to go out for the evening, on returning thinking I may relax in the bath. After running bath the feel of an unclean film on the inside of bath. Left us with not relaxing at all. Would not recommend or rebook.

The cleaners did a good job at daily cleaning

Booked wrong date a month ago. Paid out of pocket on correct day. They said they would contact us regarding cancellation of the original booking but they ignored every attempt to contact them. Rotten wood, unsafe chairs, and not sound proof at all, tv did not work.
