Anda Lanta Resort

Anda Lanta was quiet and peaceful. The resort is off the beaten path, about 30-40 minutes south of Saladan Pier. The resort is situated on a beach, which makes beach access convenient. The views are great and the Pearl Restaurant was very good! Lastly, the staff were extremely helpful. Our ferry from Koh Lanta to Phuket was cancelled through the night. We asked the reception, and they called the ferry service, confirmed the cancellation and refund, then scheduled us a private van from the resort all the way to Phuket.

Great facilities, staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfast was a good choice and the gym was an added bonus

Absolutely lovely hotel. Great location on a private beach, really nice pool for kids which has shaded parts for most of the day and a good on site restaurant for three meals a day!

Very nice and a bit remote location spot on the beach which is a little rocky. a few option for food on the beach ... a little supermarket across the street. Scooter rental works perfect. Has a little new fitness and does the trick. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The beds are awesome and kitchen / breakfast is very good. Lovely pool area and clean.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, in der Preisklasse bekommt man weitaus neuere Hotels. Wir haben uns an einem Tag einen Roller gemietet, es ist nicht möglich, den Roller vorab zu reservieren. Wer zuerst kommt, bekommt den Roller. Das heißt man muss früh aufstehen und gleich an die Rezeption (7:00 Uhr) Das Hotel selbst ist sehr weit im Süden der Insel. Somit muss man überall mit dem Roller/Taxi fahren. Der Nationalpark liegt in der Nähe (ca. 5 -7 Minuten mit dem Roller) des Hotels - muss aber auch mit einem Roller/Taxi angefahren werden, da der Weg zu Fuß zu weit ist.

Really good stay in Anda Lanta. Nice room with the amenities that we need. It was nice that the room has a sea view. The bed was comfortable, I appreciated when they started arranging my baby’s sleep blanket (initially they folded it but I think the housekeeping realised it was being used by my infant baby, they started arranging the bed with it). Food was standard. Nice selection of fruits during breakfast. The coconuts are tasty. Nice and quiet beachfront. They have a kid’s pool too. Refreshing welcome drink. Would have been nice if they transferred us to a lower floor when they saw that we have a baby and there were no lifts or ramps in the building. Plus points for the ramps in the garden area. Really good massage! Make sure you book one when you stay - this is one of our highlights during our stay.

Wonderful location on beautiful Klong Jark beach. Our third stay at Anda Lanta. Excellent staff at the restaurant with good food. Good breakfast with many choices. Nice pool with two sections for small children. But Anda Lanta, please make the pool area non smoking, it’s not nice to have people smoking in the pool area. Staff should keep a better eye at the pool area, this year people were even smoking marijuana in the children’s pool at times.

Our stay at Anda Lanta Resort was amazing! It’s hidden in a small bay at the bottom of Koh Lanta, close to the national park, waterfall etc. The beach was great and there even was a small reef close to the shore.

The hotel is situated at a very calm andless frequent beach which makes it more exclusive if you are looking for a quiet stay which was our case so we were glad to have found this hotel.

Bra hotell och fint läge. Personalen i receptionen var kanon. Bra frukost. Restaurangen katastrof. Personalen var inte intresserade och var svåra att få hjälp av.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit direkter Strandlage am National Park. Wer entspannen möchte ist hier richtig. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig mit einem großen Balkon. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter.

Honestly, I had higher expectations for this hotel. Nothing exceptionally wrong, Staff were capable, but not engaging at all. Room was clean, but showing some wear. Food was reasonably good, but for the charge should be better. Beach is ok. Much better nearby. Very quite area which I appreciated. My overall stay was good, but not exceptional. I did rent a scooter and explored the area and was happy to come back to this hotel for peace and quiet.

Super Hotel, da kann man nichts meckern. Am besten hat uns gefallen, dass man am Strand verschiedene Lokale aussuchen konnte und mit Füßen im warmen Sand essen konnte.

This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. We did not have kids with us but the resort appeared very kid friendly with a playground and kid friendly menus at the restaurant. We got amazing massages as well. I would totally stay here again, a nice relaxing part of our trip!

Super schönes Hotel direkt am Strand mit Pool, kostenlosem Kayak-Verleih, Rollerverleih. Reichliche Frühstücksauswahl, gutes Essen im eigenen Restaurant, kleine Bars am Strand. Zimmer sehr sauber und gemütlich. Lage etwas abgelegen ganz im Süden aber dafür super entspannt und in der Nähe des Nationalparks.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Am Besten eignet sich diese für einen Entspannungsurlaub zu zweit oder mit der Familie. Fußläufig ist nicht viel erreichbar und man muss zwangsläufig einen Roller mieten oder Taxi fahren. Da wir leider keine Erfahrung mit einem Roller hatten, wurde uns leider keiner verliehen. Daher auch 1 Punkt Abzug. Ansonsten war der Service und die Organisation vom Hotel mit Transfer und Touren hervorragend. Das Essen ist lecker und man muss mit westlichen Preisen rechnen. Es wird kostenloses Kajak fahren angeboten und den Wasserfall kann man besichtigen. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden, da wir dem Alltag entkommen und einfach Mal entspannen konnten.

Quiet beach and very friendly staff. It is far away from shops or anything so you need to rent a scooter to go anywhere or take a taxi which is very expensive. You can buy a lot of things at the hotel but it is a bit expensive. In total I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Leider war der Gastroservice deutlich schlechter weshalb wir immer außerhalb gegessen haben. Insgesamt eine tolle Anlage mit ruhiger Lage.

We stayed here for five nights in two different rooms. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, well maintained and with a semi private beach. This hotel is a bit out of the way but if you are looking for a quite laid back spot this is it. My one and only complaint would be the beds, they were really hard!!!

Anda Lanta is a nice resort in a quiet area of Koh Lanta close to the National Park. Very friendly staff and a nice property in need of some upgrades. Very nice motorbikes for rent and a decent restaurant on a beautiful cove. You can tell that they are updating things and it is coming along nicely but it is lacking the fit and finish of a newer resort.

Spaciousness and very good spread out on the ground. Perfect beach food is good and everything was quiet and relaxing. Away from crowds. No shops or markets close by so no stress 😍 plenty to choose from on the beach

If you come to Anda Lanta resort bear in mind that its location is at the very south of the island and in an area not so populated therefore services are rare or unavailable. For all your necessities you have to catch a taxi because no public transport is available. The hotel provides a taxi service that you pay according to the distance of your destination. The hotel has a decent restaurant and a lovely beach which is not crowded. There is massage service but I didn’t use. The beach activities were more than enough for me and my husband. Our room “de luxe with ocean view “ was spacious and always clean. The bathroom was comfortable. There was a balcony facing the ocean and it was soothing throughout our stay. The staff is welcoming and always ready to help. If you are looking to relax and enjoy a quiet beach this is your resort otherwise find something else in the north tip of the island.

We booked two sea view rooms and we were given two rooms that looked at the parking lot and construction sight. I asked why we were not given the rooms we paid for and they said they didn't have any available all they offered was to give us a free dinner. Additionally the rooms did NOT HAVE HOT WATER, the internet didn't work in the rooms, the phones were broken in both rooms so could not call the front desk, the doors didn't close properly so mosquitos were a constant problem. Overall this place was totally overpriced for what you got - very unhappy

Spectacular location! Great amenities. Friendly staff. Beautiful gardens. Fantastic food. Reasonable prices. We plan to return for a longer stay.

Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Restaurant might consider to change the menu during a week but otherwise very nice.

We stayed in a beachfront room for 4 nights. The resort and beach area are beautiful and quiet. It was a very relaxing few days. The food at the restaurants as well as down the beach were all good. We were able to easily rent a motorbike from the resort and explore lanta. The reception was so helpful with all that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Jos halajaa rauhaa ja valkoista hiekkaa, on tämä oikea paikka. Ostosmahdollisuuksia ei juurikaan ole, mutta tämä ei juurikaan haittaa.

Lugnt och rofyllt ställe. Skugga för barnen finns både vid poolen och stranden. Stora rum med stora terasser. Lite omysig och något dyr restaurang men det finns tre små mysiga ställen på stranden där man kan äta både frukost och middag. Uppe vid vägen finns också några få enklare ”gatustånd” med typ Pad Thai och en liten ”butik” med lite frukt och snacks. Blöjor och liknande bör man dock ha med sig.

Sehr schönes Resort im Süden von Ko Lanta mit fast Privatstrand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer bzw. Bungalows sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das einzige Manko hierbei ist die doch recht harte Matratze, was aber einem erholsamen Schlaf nicht entgegensteht. Die Anlage ist direkt am Strand, sehr gepflegt und mit vielen Palmen und anderen Pflanzen wie ein Park gestaltet. In der Umgebung befinden sich mehrerer Restaurants, Beachbars und ein Minimarkt. Touren und Transfer können direkt in Hotel gebucht werden. In diesem Resort kann man sich bestens erholen und die Seele baumeln lassen.

Lugnt och skönt. Närhet till strand o mycket platser vid strand o pool. Tyvärr ingen affär i närheten utan man fick åka taxi dit.

Great resort for relaxing around calm beach with nice pool and habitations. Friendly staff. Breakfast was the best I've had in Thailand, although there wasn't any fresh fruit juices, but maybe the concentrate juices are a thing in Thailand as it's like that everywhere.

Great location, chilled stay

Simply outstanding. The rooms were large, very comfortable and tastfully presented. The sea front location was to die for. The staff and service were first class. Just paradise!

More than I expected. The beach is quiet, beautiful surroundings, it is possible to make many trips here, either to the jungle and to elephants, or to the islands, diving, there is the possibility of kayaking ... In the evening, prepare for the little lizards that run everywhere, even in bungalows - so you need to close your windows and doors all the time, even keep things from the balcony, because you have small monkeys, but if they want, they steal your shoes like me: D I found them :) - but these animals are part of Koh Lanta, a wonderful place for couples, families, children - the staff is amazing, friendly - they can also devote to children during breakfast or dinner. I will not describe the food - it must be experienced. We go to different places in the world, but here it is at a high level - I greet the manager. Also thanks to this place, I will have beautiful memories of Thailand - Thank you for doing things with heart.

Anche se avevamo prenotato per il periodo di capodanno molto tempo prima per me mia moglie e per i miei due bambini, appena arrivati in albergo ci chiedono che non erano stati conteggiati i miei figli per il cenone di capodanno, alche restati un po sorpresi della cosa, chiediamo quanto è la differenzia e ci sparano 2000 bat a persona quindi avremmo dovuto dare 4000 bat che in euro sono circa 120,00 per una cosa che non era citata da nessuna parte al momento della prenotazione, non sapevamo che eravamo obbligati a partecipare all'evento. Al nostro rifiuto hanno provato a dire che avrebbero cercato di farci uno sconto del 50% ma al nostro nuovo rifiuto ci hanno in fine detto che andava bene anche cosi, a questo punto ci e sembrato solamente un modo per estorcere altro denaro. E guardando poi lo svolgimento della cerimonia abbiamo fatto più che bene, pensavamo ad una cena di gala e invece e stata una semplice cena a buffet con tanto di coda per servirsi come alle mense militari. Aggiungendo, che dopo essere stati obbligati a pagare 4000 bat fra me e mia moglie, somma ben al di sopra di una cena comunissima in Thailandia, non hanno neanche previsto di mettere da bere a tavola neanche l'acqua, ci siamo serviti da bere da soli nei distributori dell'acqua potabile come gli ultimi assetati. Secondo il nostro parere, per una struttura cosi bella hanno davvero perso di stile. Penosi

Dans l’ensemble tout c’est très bien passé, cependant très loin de toute commodité (calme et reposant, sauf pour la piscine) ! Lit très grand mais couverture trop petite ... nous vous conseillons de louer les scooters à la sortie de l’hôtel (moitié prix).

Dejligt resort der ligger helt ned til vandet på den sydlige del af Koh Lanta. Rimelig øde område, men med flere lokale spisemuligheder på stranden, hvor maden er rigtig god. Fantastisk solnedgang fra den hyggelige Kung Fu bar. Hotellets a la carte mad er ikke noget særligt, men morgenmaden er super fin. Billig udlejning af knallerter og gratis kajak.

We loved our stay at Koh Lanta. We were there off season in October and had the place to ourselves. Beautiful empty swim beach, relaxing, great massages, lovely staff. Not a party place!

overall, the resort is nice and the staff is helpful. However, they charge you for everything double and it feels that all they care about is money. The rooms are nice but smell like mold all the time. The island is infested with mosquitoes so if you attract them like I do, expect to be bitten to no end. It's a beautiful island but very secluded. The resort is far from town so you will need to take a taxi which is not cheap.

Plage de rêve, et bon petit déjeuner. Dommage que le personnel ne soit pas plus à l'écoute et ne parle pas plus l’anglais. L’hotel est très propre. Nous avions réservé deux « chambres de luxe avec vue mer » et nous souhaitions que ces deux chambres soient côte à côte. j’avais effectué un mail dans ce sens. Ceci n’a pas été pris en compte du tout. J’avais par ailleurs précisé que souffrant d’une jambe je souhaitais être assez proche du lobby. Nous avons été installé à l’autre bout de l’hôtel avec pas moins d’une cinquantaine de marches pour accéder à notre chambre et en redescendre. La réception m’a dit qu’elle ne pouvait rien faire. Dommage car les chambres situées à côté de nous sont restés vides durant tout notre séjour. Petit tuyau : ne louez pas de scooter à l’hôtel c’est exactement le double du loueur qui se trouve à 20 mètres en sortant de l’hôtel en face. A si, dernière petite précision, n’espérez pas que le personnel vous installe les couverts un verre ou quoi que ce soit à votre table au PDJ, ils vous regardent bêtement installer la table mettre la fourchette le couteau la cuillère ramenez vos tasses et c’est tout ils préfèrent discuter entre eux.

We really loved this place the beach is so awesome and private there is everything you want theres wildlife, amazing grounds beautiful pool. The breakfast is delicious, the dinners all good service is perfect. My only complaint is the beds are sooooooooo hard I might not go for that reason.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit traumhafter, ruhiger (!) Bucht auf Ko Lanta. Im Süden gelegen, an der schönsten Stelle der Insel. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen und hätten auf Ko Lanta wohl keinen für uns schöneren Ort finden können. Der Deluxe Hill Front Room bietet wunderbaren Natur- und Meerblick. Das Frühstück passt Preis-Leistungs-technisch nicht und das Personal könnte vereinzelt etwas netter und kundenorientierter reagieren, aber ansonsten können wir nichts bemängeln.

Я жила в номере одна. Мне всё очень понравилось. Номер уютный и чистый, доброжелательный персонал. Больше всего мне понравилась кровать в номере - она гигантских размеров, мягкая и удобная. Я отлично высыпалась.

Beautiful beach. Resort has some issues: Bed very uncomfortable to my liking (too soft and uncomfortable linen), pool water looked dirty and restaurant, though with nice view and sea breeze, lacks any atmosphere with hard straight chairs, it has the feeling of a footbaal canteen. Service is ok, with free transfer to Saladan pier.

Stayed with family for 10 days. A very peaceful and family friendly place. Located at the most southern part of the island next to the National Park, the setting on the beach in front of the forested hills were fantastic. Good food and service. Not many alternatives to the hotel restaurant, which was however really good, as the 3 restaurants on the beach were not recommendable for their food and service.

Anda Lanta Resort er det hyggeligste lille hotel. Det ligger lidt alene, men hvis man er til total afslapning, er det helt perfekt. (vi elskede det) Personalet er de sødeste og skønneste mennesker :) Hvis du vil på et af de mange snorkle ture med båd, kan man blive samlet op på stranden. Og hvis man er heldig, kommer elefanterne og bader på stranden om aftenen :) Jeg ville elske at komme tilbage til dette sted

Really loved this resort except for one (and arguably the most important) thing. The bed was very uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and tried to do their best by adding extra doonas on top to make it softer but it didn’t really help. Honestly for the price they’re charging (over 220 AUD per night) I was expecting a better quality mattress. Apart from that the resort is fabulous. Great location, clean, good food and on the best beach on Koh Lanta.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber an sich ist es eine schöne Anlage. Wer Ruhe sucht ist genau richtig. Man braucht einen Roller, da in der Umgebung nichts los ist. Das Personal an der Rezeption war teilweise aber nicht gerade hilfsbereit.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold på Anda Lana. Stedet var super hyggelig. Grønne områder virkelig vedligeholdt. Poolen havde masser af ledige liggestole, og der var ligeledes også liggestole på stranden. Restauranten på steder laver god mad og gode drinks. Der var happy hour fra 17-19, som giver god mulighed for at smage forskellige drinks, til billigere penge. Der var 3 andre restauranter på stranden nær hotellet, vi har prøvet de to der ligger tættest på hotellet. Begge serverede god mad, og prisen lidt billigere end på hotellet. Hotellet ligger tæt på vandfaldet og cave. Vi var afsted med to børn på 7 og 10 år, og de synes turen til vandfaldet var mega god. Så det vil vi anbefalde at gøre, uden en guide. Vandfaldet var skuffende her i tørsæsonen, men selve turen var sjov. Vi så aber, så grotten i junglen, og havde lidt "Indiana Jones" oplevelse på turen:) Ture og taxa service virkede lidt dyre på stedet, og vi har fået at vide at man kan spare en del, hvis man benytter turistservice på stranden i stedet, ved "Take it easy" bar. Wifi var lidt sløv på stedet, som er den eneste minus vi kan nævne. Så alt i alt en stor anbefaling af stedet her fra.

Fabulous! Quiet and beautiful. Go next door to the The Last Resort for the best beach bar ever and to Same Same but Different for dinner. Resort provides taxi service. Front desk staff speak pretty good English. And there are monkeys!

Great overall at an amazing serene beach location. The views and the beach access are superb. The check in process is smooth and pleasant, the spacious rooms are readily available. We ate at the hotel restaurant many times since it was convenient, had an amazing beach view, and offered a broad menu selection of tasty food and a cocktail happy hour. The hotel staff is very attentive and responded well to our questions and needs, with reasonable English proficiency in most cases. Our room and all the facilities were clean and taken care of. Definitely good value at the price point. A couple of improvement areas. The wifi connection was quite terrible throughout the complex and rooms and was slow when it worked. At the reservation time it should be made clear that the hotel offers a nice van transfer from-to the ferry terminal for a reasonable price, which we took on the way back, instead of the expensive and uncomfortable open truck ride we took from the ferry terminal. I wish the hotel let us know in advance that their van transportation was available.

Slidt venlighed og imødekommenhed - personalets manglende imødekommenhed og lav kvalitet i restaurant trækker stedet ned. Det meste personale virkede til at ville være et andet sted end på deres job. Flotte, velholdte og rene værelser samt nyt flot poolområde er positivt. Det ligger afsides - det kræver taxa for at komme til næste strand. Ingen butikker eller meget andet nær. Gåtur til vandfald er en rigtig god tur. Vi gik med børn uden problemer.

Wir haben uns im Anda Lanta sehr wohl gefühlt. Das vielseitige Frühstück. Das kinderfreundliche und zuvorkommende Personal und nicht zu vergessen der tolle Pool. Unser Sohn hat den Pool und die entspannte Atmosphäre sehr genossen!

Välskött och vacker trädgård/omgivningar. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost men lite dyr (350 bath/person). Allt ok förutom sängarna vilka var ovanligt hårda (även för att vara i Thailand) så jag fick riktiga ryggproblem och fick gymnastisera varje morgon. Blev ok så fort jag kom till nästa hotell.

Come here for the nice beach, good pool, great staff and tranquile location away from the busy part of koh lanta. The restaurant (and breakfast) leaves a lot to be desired but there are some good options on the beach for lunch and dinner. The rooms are clean but not very comfy or flashy and the beed in our room was very hard. The service is impeccable and you can rent cheap scooters.

A lost paradise with a private beach, surrounded by the forest, and in the middle of the nowhere. Ideal spot for families with young children or people stressed from their daily like that want to reconnect with the world. Good for the last 3/4 nights of your holiday in Thailand, but I would not spend more time because it can become too quite. The resort offers a car rental to go out and visit Ko Lanta (we did it for 1 full day), but spending all that money to sleep in there to then going away defeats the purpose (and there is not much to do anyway). We (2 adults + 1 two-years old child) spent 4 nights there and we loved it. We had a group of monkeys visiting the pool in the middle of the day, with few monkeys jumping for a bath!! It has been amazing because the resort is far away from towns and that animals are not lured there for the tourists. The restaurant is the weak aspect of the resort. It ok for breakfast, but not for dinner. There are 3 other restaurants just on the beach that are cheaper, much nicer and offer fire shows in the evening

Gorgeous location right on one of the prettiest beaches we found in Koh Lanta. Rooms were very large and the property grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained. Pool was large and plenty of lounge beds at the pool and on the beach. The restaurant was great for dinner and the breakfast each morning was very large with lots of options. The free kayaks were fun to take out and the on site scooter rental was very convenient as you can not really walk anywhere from the hotel other than the neighboring bar and another restaurant/bar, which are both nice as well.

Fantastisk beliggenhed midt i junglen. Man skal være forberedt på at man er kommet langt væk fra alm. Turisme. Lækkert lækkert sted . Kan på det kraftigste anbefales. Spiste hver dag morgenmad og der var fint udbud. Der er to restauranter i området et på hotellet og et på stranden. Kommer helt klart tilbage

Great hotel, if you want just relax.You can get anything you need thete.However it's difficult to find anything nearby in case you do no want to spend thete 24/7.

We were a family of 5 ranging in age from 70 to 20 years and everyone enjoyed Anda Lanta. The setting and beach are lovely. The staff is helpful and there was plenty to do during our 4 day stay. I thought the rooms were good value for money and the food and drink not expensive.

Nice reception and pool area - the first hotel we stayed out which had a refreshingly cold swimming pool! Location on the beach is great - in a quiet area but the hotel offer a payable car service to nearby Kantiang Bay. Hotel restaurant I see lacking atmosphere Andy everything tends to shut early - one evning we were the only ones in the bar and they started turning the lights off at 9.30pm when the bar is supposed to stay open until 11pm! Our room was ok but a little disappointing - we'd paid extra for a deluxe room which was spacious and the bedroom was confortable, however, the interiors were starting to look worn and dated, especially the bathroom which was very old fashioned. My sister paid less for a superior room and had a better sea view and a clean, modern bathroom - the only difference was was the room was slightly smaller so I'm not sure the "deluxe" status is justified.

Totally unspoilt resort which gave us the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. It’s a small, private resort situated directly in the beach with everything on site near to hand. Very quiet place. If you like hustle and bustle, this resort is not for you as there are limited options on what you can do. You need to use taxis or motorbikes to go anywhere as it’s pretty isolated. Having said all that, we wanted total peace and quiet and that’s what we got.. only downside is that it’s a 2!hour journey from the airport but we found it was worth it.

Amazing. Staff was professional, efficient, and accommodating when handling issues and booking tours. This resort is impressive and feels like paradise.

I absolutely loved my 3 night stay at the Anda Lanta Resort. The staff was so warm and friendly at check-in and I was brought by a comfortable van from the Pier that the hotel arranged. The welcome drink was tasty and very nice to have a refreshing cold towel at arrival and the lobby of the hotel was absolutely gorgeous decor. Pool and Beach Facilities: The pool at this place was amazing as it was very clean, the chairs were comfortable, and umbrellas were there if you wanted some shade. I also loved the beach as it was quiet and empty with plenty of chairs including chairs in the shade. The hotel was very generous in allowing the kayaks to be rented free of charge which was a fun adventure. The Room: The room was very spacious that I stayed in and the air conditioning ran very well for keeping the room cool. The bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. The room is slightly dated, but I didn’t mind that and did have a slight musky smell, but you are staying in a wet tropical climate so I didn't let that bother me, but was slightly noticeable at first. I was very comfortable in my room. Staff: The staff here were absolutely wonderful! I thought they were all very friendly. Restaurant: The restaurant had a large menu including many vegetarian options which was nice for me as I am a vegetarian. The staff was very attentive, good food quality, fast service, and reasonable prices.

The hotel staff were amazing!! We left money behind in our room and were stuck on a minibus on our way to Surat thani when we realised. The hotel arranged for someone to drive and meet us. Legends!! The hotel grounds were beautiful and room was huge!

We loved our stay, the staff were welcoming our room was great and the location is stunning. The beach is lovely and some friendly beach bars. Staff respond quickly and the service was very good. Easy trip to the local town, nice restaurants a short ride away.

Great time at Anda Lanta Resort. It's on the south end of the Island which was quieter and more secluded but that's exactly why we loved it. It was easy to rent a motorbike right from the resort and take it around the Island. I also liked that they had snorkels and kayaks for use. The room did smell a bit off at times but it was not too bad. A beautiful mix of jungle and ocean! We would stay there again.

Had an amazing time at this hotel, gorgeous resort, right on a large quiet beach and with its own great pool. Staff was great, hotel restaurant was amazing, didn't eat anywhere else. Perfect place for a quiet, relaxing stay In Koh lanta. We ended up canceling going to our next island and staying here longer we loved it so much.

We loved the hotel. Our villa was in really good condition and it was very comfortable. The pool was great for lounging. The beach is really beautiful and great for a quiet time. Since it's the south of the island, it is a lot more private which is what we were looking for. We were able to rent motorbikes from the front desk to explore the rest of the island including Lanta Old Town and the National Park.

The hotel was so peaceful, located at the quiet southern tip of the island. This is a great spot if you want a quiet and relaxing stay. There are some great little bars and restaurants fairly close by and the hotel well take you and pick you up whenever you like for a small fee. The room itself was very spacious, and well equipped, although no in room safe was available. The air con was excellent, although ours could be a little noisy at times. The hotel breakfast was pretty good, the bar had a great selection of cocktails and the restaurant was decent enough, but there are too many great little places around to spend every night in the hotel. The pool was a great spot to relax and cool down, and the beach was right there on the doorstep. We hired scooters from the hotel a couple of days and had a great time touring the island. I love this place.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in April. We had a wonderful time. There was a mix up regarding a snorkelling excursion, so we weren't able to go, but the reception staff were extremely helpful and apologetic---going so far as to book us on another excursion free of charge. The beech and the area are quite beautiful. Both a national marine park and mountain hike are minutes away.

Very relaxing resort at the southern, quiet end of Koh Lanta. I stayed in a Deluxe Hill Front Room, which I would definitely recommend. It had a beautiful view of the beach and sea, and was quiet and set back from the rest of the resort. The cottages/rooms that are close to the beach aren't so private. Sure, you might have a good view of the water, but also many people walking by the front of your cottage, too. The restaurant was good overall. The beach was beautiful. It's a bit rocky at low tide in front of the resort, but all you have to do is walk one minute down the beach, and you'll find a wide expanse without any rocks. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Anda Lanta Resort is a perfect escape for a Families. Its located in the south of the island not far from Kantiang Bay, which is the nicest area of the island. (nothing for party people). The rooms were spacious and very clean. Our sheets were changed every day. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. The beach is great. The Food at the Hotel is OK. Quiet cool Thai-style bar on the same beach not far from the Hotel. They also have fire show on some nights. Next to the bar is also a travel agent where you can book tours and rent a motorbike cheaper than the lobby. I can recommend this Hotel for Families and people who just want to relax on the beach and enjoy a quiet holiday.

The resort was in a brilliant location, right on the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was good. The best thing was how quiet the beach was and the setting.

We stayed for a week at the Anda Lanta Resort. We had a great time, and the resort performed up to expectations in all aspects. A comfortable room, a very nice beach and a nice pool, a restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff. What we didn't know upfront was that the place was so family-oriented: lots of guests with babies and toddlers. They cater well for it; it's a good place to stay with a little one. We don't have a lot of comments of the type "this is what they could do better"; here are some small ones: - the driver that was to pick up up from the ferry pier didn't show up; we had to call the resort and wait half an hour - like in many hotels, electricity in the room depends on inserting the room key tag in a slot; unfortunately this also includes the electricity for the fridge (which we figured out the hard way) - one afternoon when we wanted to rent a scooter, there weren't any available Nevertheless, overall a really good place that we would recommend to anyone.

This is a lovely place in a gorgeous setting. My wife and I were taking a few days r&r after a grueling trip through Myanmar. This was the perfect solution - comfortable accommodations, away from the busiest parts of the island, friendly staff, good service. This is not the most luxurious place around, but it was plenty nice for our tastes (this is not to say that it is not a first class resort, just that it's not super-luxurious).

Positives: beautiful surroundings - secluded beach, wonderful views from beach front villa/restaurant and nearby restaurant (noon), free kayaks, very big and clean room/bathroom, very clean public spaces - including the beach (cleaned daily by a team of hotel staff), it attracts many families with small kids (all very well behaved!) so it's a great atmosphere for us who is also traveling with a family negatives: unable to get to shops or have more restaurant options without transport (walking to the next 'town' is about 20 mins - we tried this - but there is no pedestrian paths and we walked on the main roads where cars and mopeds sped by); because of this the resort should've sold things like sunscreen, bandages... Restaurant food really isn't that great. It's ok and the view is great but we have had much better Thai food everywhere else we went in Ko Lanta and Ao Nang. (did not try western food). The staff seemed to work very long hours and I think they weren't as friendly and welcoming as other Thai people we've met. Though they speak fluent English and were able to assist with all our needs.

Very enjoyable hotel, food is ok and SameSame is just a short walk away. The beach is always empty and very large, very relaxing. Staff is very attentive and caring, went there with two small children and was our perfect gateway to Thailand
