Aha Lanta Cozy Hostel

Beautifully decorated, spacious bunk beds, generous storage spaces. Lots of areas to chill out both indoors and on the patio. Beautiful location super close to the nature reserve. Good restaurants within walking distance. Really friendly staff.

Reception sometimes wasn’t open until 11 am which if you needed something desperately wasn’t convenient. But other than that it was perfect.

The location is secluded but with a nice beach and cafes nearby! The beds were super comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good and staff were lovely

Het hostel ligt erg afgelegen waardoor je wel een scooter moet huren. Verder is het personeel al vroeg naar huis, waardoor als er iets voorvalt je niet zo gemakkelijk iets kunt melden. Verder werden er (niet in mijn dorm) bed bugs aangetroffen, het personeel heeft wel snel gehandeld, maar er hing toen ik wegging een rare geur (door de gebruikten chemicaliën waarschijnlijk).

La gentillesse des gérants, le lit était confortable. C’est très calme et propre !

Echt zelden in zo'n relaxed hostel gezeten. Alle buitenruimte was zo genieten en voelde echt heel relaxt aan. Ook sociaal, maar dit maar net wat je er zelf mee wilde. Genoeg ruimte voor een praatje en om met anderen op te trekken. Het hostel zat best wel zuidelijk maar dit was geen probleem als je een scootertje huurt.

One of the best hostels I have been to, it is so cute and lush and cosy and the beds are so big and comfy. I liked it so much last year that I had to come back. Very kind staff, great breakfast, close to everything like 7-11, restaurants, cafe and one of the best beaches of the island

One of the nicest hostels I stayed in during my time in SE Asia. The facilities and general design across the rooms were impressive with a laid-back, bohemian feel. The breakfast was also great. Met some very nice people here too as it seems to attract a good group of social AND respectful people.

The price is comparable to European hostels, and although the location is good it is in the south of the island which is quite a way from Saladan Pier. If you're arriving onto the Pier and plan not to ride a bike, try and time it with the hostel's daily pickup time and this will be cheaper than trying to get a taxi.

Sehr süßes Hostel! Gut im Leute kennen zu lernen (auch wenn das natürlich von den jeweiligen Gästen abhängt). Nahe am Strand, gemütliche social area. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, um Dinge zu unternehmen. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir die wirklich geräumigen und bequemen Dorms.

Die Klimaanlage war sehr kühl, aber unter der Decke war’s ok.

The women dorm is more spacious than the other rooms. Very comfortable beds, with privacy curtain, lights, socket, and a little space to hang some cloth. Breakfast is simple and good (eggs and fruits).

Drainage in showers and sinks is a bit blocked. Generelly, there's a bit of smell around the bathroom area. AC can not be regulated. It's very cold at night. The rooms are very dark. You can hardly see your stuff in the locker due to darkness. Very little space to put your bag. The ladder to get to the upper beds is difficult to climb.

Ein wirklich tolles Hostel mit einer sehr schönen Atmosphäre und in einer tollen Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe hier ganz tolle Menschen kennengelernt und eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht. Die Duschen und Toiletten waren auch sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Die Terrasse lädt auf jeden Fall zum verweilen ein ☺️ Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich und man hat auch etwas Privatsphäre. Ich fand’s gut, dass man genug Ablagefläche am Bett hatte. Man braucht hier definitiv einen Scooter, um andere Orte erkunden zu können. Die Gegend rundum das Hostel ist aber wirklich traumhaft und es gibt eine ganz tolle Strandbar in unmittelbarer Nähe und einen 7/11. Internet war auch top 👌🏽 Außerdem wurde sich ganz lieb drum gekümmert, dass ich vom Pier abgeholt werde. Die Kommunikation war sehr sehr gut!

1. Leider wurde in einem der Betten eine Bettwanze gefunden. Das Personal hat sich jedoch direkt drum gekümmert und alle Betten im Zimmer inspiziert. Als Vorsorge konnte ich außerdem ohne wenn und aber meinen Kram zum Waschen abgeben, ohne dafür bezahlen zu müssen. Leider scheint es aktuell nur öfter der Fall sein, da ich mitbekommen hatte, dass auch andere Zimmer betroffen waren. 2. Für den Preis empfand ich das Frühstück als sehr mau. Es gibt jeden Tag nur zwei Optionen von Ei und ansonsten täglich nur Toast, Butter, Bananen und Wassermelone. Wenn man mehrere Tage hier ist, sucht man sich dann eher ein Café. 3. Die Rezeption ist erst ab 11 Uhr besetzt. Vorher gibt es leider keine englischsprachige Ansprechperson, sollte man etwas brauchen oder ein Anliegen haben, aber alles halb so wild.

Amazing spot, beautiful location, calm and relaxing, lots of good chilling areas! Plus delicious breakfast and coffee :) staff were friendly and in house laundry service made life so easy!

Minor minor thing but the doors don’t shut properly because the curtains from the beds beside the door get stuck so the rooms aren’t always that cold even though A/C is on.

Great hostel! Very quiet and super clean. It’s close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Lanta, perfect location to relax and enjoy the island. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property. Great common areas outdoors that are very scenic and peaceful. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are very clean The staff truly make this place the best. They are so kind, caring and hospitable. They also have a very nice and friendly dog as well some cats Good location as well being close to 7/11 and the nearby beach. Best Hostel I stayed at during my Thailand trip!

I absolutely loved staying here. The staff were so friendly & accommodating. It had such a lovely chilled vibe & having breakfast cooked for you was such a lovely touch. I was sad to leave & will defiantly be back! Thank you Aha 😊

Since the beanbags are made of artificial leather, it's practically not possible to use them during the day. You get super hot and exceptionally sweaty. So there's no really comfortable way to chill at the hostel area during the day. Not very thought through for the price... There are no hammocks either. These would have been nice -- and probably much cheaper and more suitable for the climate than the aforementioned beanbags.

Everything was perfect! Kept extending, stayed almost 10 days because I loved this beautiful property and met great people. As a female solo traveller, early 30s, it was the perfect vibe for me.

Favourite hostel I have stayed in during my trip to Thailand. Beautiful spot if you’re wanting something quieter and less touristy. The hostel has lots of outdoor areas to socialise and relax, and the amenities are nice. Breakfast was a nice and simple eggs on toast with fruit.

Za tą cene spędziłbym spokojnie 3 noce w innym hostelu o podobnym standardzie. Pani na recepcji nie znala angielskiego. Na proste pytanie „jak dostane sie na prom” bez zastanowienia poddala mi telefon z otworzonym google translate zebym napisal o co mi chodzi.

Very nice hostel to relax in! Chilled rainforest vibes with lovely people and friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was great too. Basic but very nice with fresh fruit. About a five minute walk to the beach. The rooms are lovely but quite dark with not much daylight. I was in the female dorm and it looks onto the common area so guys outside can see you getting changed so not with privacy in this regard but you can just draw the curtains for this. Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend for Koh Lanta!

L'hostel est premièrement très charmant mais aussi super cozy, le personnel est adorable, les lits sont méga confos, le petit déjeuner est correcte et on a de l'eau, du thé et du café toute la journée et accès à un frigo! Chouette espace commun mais aussi pleins de recoins pour avoir son solo moment - merveilleux. L'hostel est à 500m de la plage et d'un 7-eleven. La plage est pas mal mais la meilleure est Nui bay à 5min en scooter. Je vous recommande cette zone de l'île. Le nord n'est pas agréable et super bétonné et presque "industriel". Le sud est excellent.

Everything good as usual, nice place near a nice beach. I was surprised as they have tickets to Koh Ngai cheaper than at 12go website and it includes a free transfer to Saladan pier and back! I recommend to book tickets here. I also recommend you to bring your own lock for the locker.

Loved staying here. Good sized dorm, comfy beds - felt like your own private pod. Locker big enough for whole backpack. Good number of showers and toilets - male and female are separate, you only overlap in the area where you wash your hands, and the area is really big so i didnt find this a problem. Beautiful garden area with lots of different areas to sit. Great location- 5 min walk to the beach, 7-11, a few restaurants and Why Not Bar, which was super fun. I didnt have a moped and was able to get a taxi from opposite the hostel to Nui bay (make sure you haggle!). Generous breakfast included, made fresh to order.

Tiny point - the top bunks are quite high up so request a lower bunk if you're short!

Great place, super comfortable and feels luxurious for a hostel.

Missed the option for a scooterrental at the hostel. Since the accommodation is located very south of the island, most good rental places are way op north. But, if you don’t mind leaving your passport as a deposit, there are options nearby.

Very, very nice hostel. Everything is in order. Cool and smart design, the bathrooms are superb. The breakfast is great, you have two options and they’ll make it for you while you wait.

Nothing noteworthy. If I were to point at anything, there was a slight smell from the toilet area at times, but not a problem. A few things were in need of maintenance.

It had a nice vibe, and nice areas to hang out/work. WiFi was good. The included breakfast was decent enough and it was a short walk to 7/11, bike rentals and beach.

Aircon didn’t really make the bed area cool down much, and I had an end bed which was hard to climb on and out of without making much noise. It was quiet though, but I’d have hated the bed next to the door.

Dorms are good for sleeping (beds with privacy curtains, sockets, hangers), good size lockers. Staff is friendly. Can do ferry booking for you (via chat).

No information at check in where what is (figured out after a while that there are clothing lines outside to dry your wet swimwear) or about discounts (figured out when leaving that I would have had a discount at my restaurant of choice). When talking to staff they always referred to the WhatsApp chat for requesting information.

Les infrastructures sont très belles et très confortables. Bien situé. J’ai également pu y rencontrer d’autres voyageurs solos très sympathiques. Je recommande!

Dorms were a bit dark so I would add some lights. During the day is a bit hard to go through your stuff. But it’s a minor thing.

Very nice bedroom with comfortable bed and premium feel. Staff were very friendly and keeping it very clean.
