Directions to the hostel:
From Keisei-Ueno Train Station, take the Main exit. Turn right and walk along Chuo Street bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno station) for about 1312 feet. At the end of the side-walk, you will find a cafe named "Veloce" on the other side of the street as a landmark. Turn right and go straight for about 328 feet. The property is located opposite Ueno First City Hotel.
From the South Exit of JR Okachimachi Train Station, turn left and walk along the railway bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno Station) for about 164 feet. Turn right at the Golf Shop and walk about 328 feet. Cross the street at the intersection of Chuo Street in the same direction. Walk about another 328 feet.
From Yushima Subway Station (Chiyoda Subway Line), go out from Exit 6 and follow the path to your right. Turn right at the first intersection.
Take Keisei Skyliner Train, which offers nonstop service to Keisei Ueno Train Station in about 40 minutes.
Alternatively you can take non-express trains to Keisei Ueno Train Station. Guests can also get off the train at Nippori Station, and transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi Station. JR Okachimachi Station is located closer to the Hotel.
You can also take JR Narita Express if you have a JR Rail Pass.
Take Monorail to Hamamatsu-cho Station and change to JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi station.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Mặc dù Tokyo Uneno Youth hostel là nhà nghỉ tập thể, nhưng tôi thất chất lượng đôi khi còn tốt hơn 1 khách sạn. Nơi lưu trú đã chuẩn bị các dịch vụ rất chu đáo từng chi tiết như: Khu vực chung lễ tân, có bàn ghế để ăn uống, tủ lạnh, lò vi sóng và một số dụng cụ chén bát. Sảnh mỗi tầng đều có tủ lạnh, bình đun nước, nước nguội, lò vi sóng. Nếu bạn có đồ ăn cần lưu trữ trong tủ lạnh có thể để trong tủ lạnh dán nhãn tên và ngày check out. Chỗ nghỉ cũng chuẩn bị cả nhãn dán, băng keo và bút để bạn ghi. Rác thải được bố trí thùng phân loại rất kỹ lưỡng và sạch sẽ. Phòng ở rộng rãi. Vòi hoa sen cực mạnh, nước nóng đầy đủ thoải mái. Khăn tắm có thể thay hàng ngày. Chỗ ở rất gần các ga tàu điện ngầm (trong khoảng 400m), rất trung tâm, tập trung nhiều cửa hàng tiện lợi và các quán ăn. Gần công viên Ueno. Bạn có thể gửi hành lý trước hoặc sau giờ check in thoải mái hoàn toàn miễn phí. Nói chung tôi rất hài lòng với chỗ nghỉ này. Nếu có cơ hội đến Tokyo lần nữa tôi sẽ chọn chỗ này và giới thiệu cho bạn bè.
Giường hơi kêu cọt kẹt mỗi khi cựa mình.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026住宿地點離地鐵站很近,出巷口轉個彎就到,也很安靜,離比較熱鬧的阿美橫町大約700公尺,因為我們4位都是大人,每個人都有一個床舖實在太舒適了,空間夠大還能把二個大行李都打開,在東京能找到這樣的房型和價格,真的很值得.
床是木頭的骨架,所以翻身會有聲音

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Unsere Erwartungen von einem Youth Hostel wurden getroffen - Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, Lage, Komfort, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit des Personals, Gemeinschaftsräume zum Kochen/Essen oder einfach sein. Die Hochbetten hatten Vorhänge dran, um angenehm und je nach Bedürfnis abzudunkeln. Trotz der Nähe zur belebten Ueno-Region, war es in einem sehr angenehm, ruhigen Wohnviertel eingebettet.
Wir waren anfangs August dort. Die Zimmer bestehen vollständig aus Teppichboden, was es noch schneller warm macht. Die Klimaanlage war zum Glück nicht direkt an die Köpfe gerichtet, kam aber aufgrund der Länge eines Hochbettes kaum durch. Es war also sehr warm in der Nacht.

Todo estaba bien, quizás agradecería encontrar la cama hecha. Y eché en falta tv en la habitacion pero imagino que será para mantener el silencio del local

Si trova a 10’ dalla metro e dallo SkyLiner per l’aeroporto, vicino al parco Ueno e il bellissimo laghetto con ninfee giganti. Tutto è a portata di mano : combini , izakaya, ecc Ci siamo trovati benissimo

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026地點真的超好，住宿上很舒服，每天早上起來還能跑步去不忍池，風景很好。 這邊住宿南來北往都很方便，離御徒町跟上野還有湯島站都很近，入住跟退房時都能行李置放，光這一點就100分了。 服務人員都很友善，懂一點英文就能溝通，很滿意，下次還會選擇入住。

La camera da 5 persone era un pò strettina e i letti facevano molto rumore ad ogni movimento. Il divano letto che è stato posizionato in camera per il quinto ospite, aveva una "fossa" al centro che rendeva il riposo abbastanza difficoltoso. L'unico rimedio era quello di "chiudere" il divano letto e dormire in uno spazio più ristretto. Per gli standard di Tokyo, mi rendo conto che con questa qualità/prezzo, non si poteva pretendere di più.

Reviewed May 8, 2026I chose this place because it's close to Ueno train station. You bring your own towels to the room. Small towels are extra. There's no duvet cover, just a throw blanket. You make your own sheets. The sheets and throw blankets are small and not comfortable.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is very good, with Akihabara just about 10 minutes away and Ueno Park nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen and lounge facilities were excellent, with everything available including coffee and cooking essentials. It was very convenient for us to prepare and eat our ready-to-eat food daily.
Nothing major to complain about. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Ottima posizione, da cui è stato facile arrivare dappertutto. Ci sono stata con i miei bambini ed abbiamo adorato la camera con letto a castello. La struttura è molto pulita e funzionale, ha lavatrici e asciugatrici. C’è un supermercato dietro l’angolo e la zona è piena di ristoranti. Molto tranquilla di notte.
Le aree comuni erano funzionali ma non scenografiche rispetto ad altri ostelli.
