Just a little attention to detail was needed in the room we stayed in: the curtain and shower door. Also, the patio light stayed on all night so if you don’t sleep with a night mask the constant light might keep you awake.

The facility overall is not well kept, facilities weren't as clean and need a lot of maintenance. The toaster wasn't working properly. The water was not hot in the morning, we used the sink and kettle to clean up, the garden area was so dirty, our bathroom window had issues etc. But with a bit more maintenance and replacement of all broken things that place is absolutely beautiful. The road leading there is also dodge but that is not your fault lol

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026After a long flight, we were incredibly grateful to have a comfortable place to rest before heading back to the airport for our final flight. Nelson, the shuttle driver, was an absolute star. He happily collected us at 1am and dropped us off again at 6am, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The room was comfortable, and the electric blanket was a welcome touch in the chilly Johannesburg weather. We’ll definitely stay here again on future trips.

Reviewed May 3, 2026Can not realy tell what is nice about this place. This previous owner created in the past a great place. Now it is falling apart. Maintenance is totally forgotten. For the future I don't see any positive things with this B&B.
What a disgrace is this place. All the photos shared on Booking.com are far behind the truth! All facilities are worn out. Even the cloths of the staff is not up to date. The braai is tearing apart and chairs outside are dirty. It's not inviting to use at all. The swimming is needs attention. When I asked to buy a drink the receptionist said everything is out of stock! I don't think they had the intention to sell some drinks anyway. The photo's on Booking.com are 8 years old. And are from the previous owner! Booking.com must change the policy that photo must renewed every 1/2 year! Now is it far behind the truth.

I paid upfront for my booking more or less a week before my stay. On arrival, the person at the front desk told me that it did not reflect even though Booking.com confirmed my payment and it reflected on my bank account. The list of guests printed out at the front desk even showed that I have already paid. Despite all of this, the front desk person told me I have to pay again before I am able to receive my room key. He told me that if I paid double, the refund would be automatic within 10 business days. It has been a month now and still no refund. I paid double for my stay and I am very disappointed. I will be taking further steps.
