We were woken throughout the night by barking dogs, traffic and music.

Tienen servicio incluido de recogida y entrega en el aeropuerto. Además nos dieron un desayuno de cortesía tipo buffet súper completo (huevos, salchichas, bacon, embutidos varios… bollería, pancakes, frutas, zumo, cereales, yogures, cafés y te…) Llegamos tarde por la noches y si avisas con antelación te preparan la cena, estaba muy rico y a buen precio.

O atendimento de toda equipe foi sensacional, sem exceção. Local agradabilíssimo, comida a um preço muito justo e muito saborosa. Valeu cada centavo.

Nada a reclamar. O hotel é próximo ao aeroporto, logo, um pouco mais longe do centro.

The proximity to the airport was very welcome, yet there was wildlife so close by! The airport transfers were great. Breakfast was excellent! The staff were amazing in correspondence and then looked after us so well. We had been able to order food, so we could still have a meal even though we arrived very late after the kitchen had closed. A wonderful welcome to South Africa.

約堡我們一共住了兩晚， 第一晚是在約堡機場附近，隔天轉機去喬治 初來乍到看到太多南非治安不好的新聞 （真的很膽戰心驚） 就決定得要找有接駁車的飯店，無縫接軌，隔絕任何不安全的因子 Airport Bird & Game Lodge位於機場附近10-15分鐘車程，免費接送，價格很平易近人，一房才1400台幣左右不含早（後來我們有加早餐，早餐極好吃！） 1.接送柱在7,事先聯繫飯店告知抵達時間，到了what s app,會立刻派車來接 2.另外一個讓我選擇的原因就是，飯店竟然有養鹿跟野生生物！實在太扯了！這群瘋狂喜歡動物的人第一天就拍得不亦樂乎不肯走，我也拍了很多鹿的人生照片。 3.房主非常和善，我朋友又是個英文通的e人，早上5：30就起來跟屋主聊天，剛到南非的我們發現南非人好愛聊天，而且很和善，跟想像完全不一樣 4.唯一的缺點應該是暖氣不給力，還有室內比較稍微簡單一些，第一晚我們冷到蓋上所有的被子跟穿上很多衣物，那時還想說南非晚上那麼冷,我帶的衣服不夠死定了,不是8-18度嗎？......沒想到只有第一晚冷到懷疑人生而已 總之，這個價位真的CP 值很高！推薦！

Le service navette aéroport (gratuit) performant et réactif. Le personnel (accueil, restauration et navette) a toujours été à l'écoute de nos questions et de bon conseil. L'endroit est très reposant, surtout après un long trajet. Le parc est très agréable.

Nous n'avons pas de point de déception.

15mn de l'aéroport, transfert gratuit, cadre très sympa, beaucoup d'oiseaux et de petites antilopes, personnel sympathique, chambre confortable, très bon rapport qualité prix.

Il fait un peu frais l'hiver.

The Shower

Airport Bird and Game Lodge is a very pleasant and relaxing place - it is more like a farm or a nature park and it feels very distant from the busy Johannesburg. It has extensive grounds with many types of antelopes. There is a beautiful and curious peacock walking freely around. Every room opens up to the terrace and the court yard and it is very relaxing. I would highly recommend the restaurant - the food they prepared for us was delicious and the staff are very kind. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.

The only downside was that it was a very cold night (in July) and the radiator could not warm up the room to a sufficient extent. It was rather cold but the receptionist was kind enough to provide us with many extra blankets.

The free shuttle is very convenient and the drivers are very friendly. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They also allowed me to check out an hour later which I really appreciated.

It would be nice if the beds had electric blankets during winter.

Fijne plek, dicht bij het vloegveld, lekker gegeten. Ze hebben de shuttle busje die op verschillende tijden naar het vliegveld rijden, dat werkt er goed.

We hadden gehoopr de WK finale op de tv te kijken, maar de tv had geen geprogrammeerde zenders. Dit was jammer, maar niet echt een probleem.

Verwarming/airco werkt niet goed bij vrieskou.

L’attente assez longue de la navette à l’aéroport, ce lieu étant réputé pour être dangereux. Le chauffeur devrait attendre à la sortie des arrivées avec une pancarte. Le manque de chauffage en hiver. Un petit radiateur qui ne suffit pas. La literie n’était pas suffisante non plus pour avoir chaud. La douche qui donne directement dans la chambre.

L'environnement La gentillesse du personnel Chambres deluxe grandes toutes avec vue sur le jardin, les paons et les impalas. La salle du petit déjeuner au 1er étage, jolie. Architecture typique africaine.

Tres froid dans les chambres. ( deluxe) Petit radiateur mural très insuffisant. Une cheminée sur deux a pu être utiliser le deuxième soir à notre demande ( l'autre cheminée ne fonctionnait pas) Salles de bains spartiate.

Dicht bij het vliegveld, op 15 minuten rijden. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Beetje koud in de winter en de kamer niet goed te verwarmen.

Great service with airport transfers. The rooms are very simple wirh basic facilities and the property offers a dining room whjch provides very good meals. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's by no means luxury, but good value for what you oay.

Lovely staff, excellent shuttle service, very well-cooked food, goid value for money and really special to be surrounded by animals & hang out with a peacock!

A bit cool at night (I was there in winter)

Prima verblijf voor de eerste nacht na de vlucht. We werden keurig ontvangen en ondanks dat het pas half 11 was, konden we al meteen onze kamer in. Simpel, sober maar alles doet het. Houdt er rekening mee dat het in juni best koud wordt in de nacht! Gelukkig lagen er extra dekens op het bed. Ontbijt was super! Eitjes met van alles erop, pancakes, sapje, cappuccino etc.

Misschien een iets beter kacheltje, het was koud.

Location was great. Staff lovely and helpful. Grounds were beautiful. Food was good.

Very friendly staff, nice location close to the airport, nice little save heaven and last but not least: the restaurants and the meals are amazing. We would come back anytime.

The only negativ of everything: the toilet paper is thinner than air…

Een gezellige accommodatie om tot rust te komen na een lange vlucht. Gemakkelijk met Uber of Bolt naar de stad om wat bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken. Supervriendelijk personeel en leuke dieren rondom het verblijf.

スタッフはとても丁寧で空港からの送迎、夜ご飯、朝ごはん全て完璧でした。 また夜ご飯会場で私たちが日本人ということもありBGMを日本仕様にしてくれていました！ 部屋もシャワーの水圧、温度ともに問題なくベッドも清潔です。

Getting up and watching the animals

the rooms are a great size and it was super quiet and peaceful with the animals around.

Rooms could do with some upgrading as they are quite dated Tv in the rooms (with dstv) would be so nice for the evenings

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially Louise and the chef, whose name I didn't catch. The food was good and good value. The setting is great: green fields on the edge of the city. The airport pick up is a real bonus.

Good lodge with transport to and from Tambo airport. Some wild animals and many birds make the stay pleasant and relaxing.

Het personeel was héél vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gratis taxivervoer naar en van airport met héél vriendelijke chauffeur. De ontbijtruimte was subliem in een zeer mooie lodge 😊

Directions not good. Thought we were lost for the longest time. GPS said we'd arrived 2km before we actually did. Shower being IN the bedroom a little awkward.

Nice, spacious rooms and an amazing garden. If you like spotting birds, great place. Didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely.

Het is een perfecte locaties vlakbij het vliegveld. Het ophalen en wegbrengen werkt super. De kamers zijn basic, maar echt prima. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er en de tuin is fantastisch. Ik ga in juni weer.

Airport Bird and Game Lodge is an ideal stopover between late arrivals and early connecting flights at O R Tambo Airport. We have stayed in the lodge several times; we like it very much.

The waiting time between notification of our arrival and the coming of the transportation to the lodge. Waiting at the taxi ramp of Johannesburg Airport is not the nicest part of one's holiday.

Free shuttle and location with outdoor space and options for birding. On-site restaurant with good food and good breakfast options. Very friendly staff.

Sockets near the bed and some better light in the shower would be great.

Je had niet het gevoel dichtbij de luchthaven te zijn. Het is hier heerlijk rustig met een fijne tuin, een groot stuk grond met wilde dieren, een zwembad en heel fijn personeel. Lekker ontbijt!

De airco in onze kamer werkte niet maar we hebben het niet gemeld omdat de temperatuur meeviel.

Free shuttle service, the restaurant/chef were amazing, the staff was great, and communication was top-notch

Some directions on the papers we got weren't up to date (for example, papers said breakfast was in the Garden Restaurant, but it was in the bistro). Other than that, it was great!

The staff were generally friendly. Dinner (ostrich steaks) was very tasty. The location is not far from the airport - and appreciated that there was a free shuttle. When I arrived, I was not feeling well and the staff I interacted with was kind and helpful. And the bed was comfortable.

The staff seemed a bit overworked, overwhelmed and stretched too thin. It took nearly an hour for the shuttle to arrive to fetch me from the airport. The room was pretty cold (heater didn’t seem to work) and it was a bit noisy with people walking directly in front of the room. Lastly, the shower had a perpetual drip. There were some good things and not so great things so as a result, I’m giving it an average rating.

Good location

Ich musste auf Grund einer abgebrochenen Flugreise am späten Abend noch eine Unterkunft finden. Die Lodge liegt ca 12 Minuten Fahrzeit vom Flughafen entfernt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Man hat mich sehr freundlich empfangen, trotz der späten Anreise und war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am nächsten Tag wurde für mich sogar ein frühes Mittagessen gekocht. Toll.... Die Lodge verfügt über einen eigenen kleinen Park mit heimischen Wildarten die zum Teil von Hand gefüttert werden können.

Mein Fernseher war ohne Funktion. Brauchte ihn aber auch nicht.

Louis, the ladies and the lady chef were the best 👌 the pool was clean it's a pity we could not swim as it was raining and cold, we were so free and happy we definitely going back in summer

Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff were good as were the kitchen staff. The animals were a pleasure to watch.

The bush feel. The pool. The birds. Michelle at reception was a real burst of joy and help.

Electricity on and off. Everyone walks in front of your room. Sadly the way it was built.
