- velmi prostorná vila - pro dvě osoby je to zbytečně velké - klid od rušné ulice - přístup na střešní terasu - laskavý personál - fotky více méně odpovídají realitě

- zařízení není již v nejlepší kondici, ubytování už má něco za sebou, nicméně pokud odhlédnete z nejvyšších nároků a přehlédnete občas odřený roh nebo hůř uzavíratelné dveře, je to úplně v pořádku - špatný tlak ve sprše a ve vaně

Great villa, very private and quiet, tucked away from the bustling madness outside. We didn't see any other guests during our time here so we felt like it was all about us. The staff were so lovely and the fish would see us arriving and gather to greet us. The complimentary breakfast was amazing!

The air conditioning was limited to bedrooms only and the rest of the villa was dependent on fans.

Great value for money, staff were all lovely and very accommodating. Villas seem a bit old but still quite nice

The villa was very dirty, to the point where you'll have to wear shoes indoor everywhere. There is only one fan in the entire villa, located on the first floor. The pool was very dirty and the villa was very noisy as it is located right beside the road.

Firstly the receptionist Githa 🥰, she is the most beautiful, caring, kind hearted person I have ever met. If it wasn’t for Githa, I’m not sure how I would’ve been able to cope with an awful ordeal, terrible experience outside the property and region. She was super amazing 🤩 went out of her way to help with organising and seeking the appropriate authorities to help. Secondly the rest of the staff, they were all polite, helpful, kind and so pleasant to deal with. It was clean, quiet, very private, pool was amazing, lovely rooftop with views. Rooms and aircon was great, bath was huge. Offers laundry services for cheap. Breakfast was great and had a water dispenser with clean drinking water with the option for hot, normal or cold water.

It was a bit hot downstairs, but if you opened all the doors, windows and use the fan it’s was not too bad.

Papillon Villas has been a very special place for me, filled with many beautiful memories. I usually don’t write reviews — in fact, there are only a handful of times I’ve ever written one for any company or person — but this place truly deserves it. There are three reasons why I would highly recommend Papillon Villas to everyone: The property itself is huge, peaceful, and very well maintained. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are genuinely warm, kind, and welcoming people. From the moment you arrive, you feel comfortable and cared for. During my stay, I had ordered clothes from Uniqlo that were being delivered from Jakarta. By the time the package arrived, I had already checked out and moved to another resort in Seminyak. Githa from the reception went out of her way to personally coordinate with the courier, collect the package, and make sure it reached me. Without her help, I would most likely have missed the delivery completely, especially since I didn’t have an Indonesian SIM card and the courier had no way to contact me. I truly appreciated her kindness and extra effort. My birthday is on the 29th, and on the morning of the 28th, right after breakfast, the staff unexpectedly came and wished me an early happy birthday. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture, and honestly one of the most special moments of my stay. Thank you to the entire team at Papillon Villas for making my time there so memorable. I will always look back at this place with happiness and gratitude.

We had a nice stay at Papil Villas in Umalas, Canggu. The villa itself was very spacious and offered plenty of room to relax. The staff and service team were extremely friendly, helpful, and always supportive during our stay.

One downside, however, is that the villas feel quite old. It seems that only the minimum amount of maintenance and renovation is being done to keep everything functioning, rather than truly modernizing the property. Another issue was that the living room and kitchen area do not have air conditioning, which makes those spaces very hot during the day. The breakfast was good in terms of quality, but unfortunately very repetitive and not very creative. After two days, it already felt like you had seen and eaten everything. In our opinion, booking breakfast included is not really worth it.

Location is on the non-beach side of Bali, which is fine for us and convenient for the training we were doing. Access to several upmarket restaurants and cafes, as well as massage services and an excellent laundromat. There is also a 24/7 medical facility within 200m. Staff are simply AMAZING - nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was delicious every day. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our often hectice timetable. Villa is HUGE with it's own pool and self-contained kitchen. Rooftop access this time also gave an excellent platform to view sunrises. Definitely will return.

Traffic outside the venue can be hectic around 3pm when school finishes - be mindful that scooters are everywhere, and not always watching for pedestrians.

The breakfasts were good. The villa was very very nice, so spacious and the pool was special. The entrance to the villa was amazing, with the path leading to the front door over water with those beautiful fish. I will remember that forever.

The location was not ideal - to get anywhere from right outside the villas, we had to walk with cars and motorbikes only a few inches away from us with no paths. The colour of the towels was disgusting, and the bed sheets - not far off. I cannot understand why we had to continually ask for hand towels and face washers and there was no kitchen towel either. When we asked for one, we were brought a bathroom hand towel!!!!!!! HMMMMM Makes me wonder what I am wiping my hands in. What else are the bathroom hand towels being used for? I get that the villas were built Balinese style, which is beautiful, but it is stifling hot in the living areas, where one would spend most time - it was uncomfortable. My brother and us could not enjoy each other's company downstairs because we were drenched in sweat, unless we were in the pool. Only in the last day and half were we offered a fan by the lady that brought us the breakfast. Pretty silly.

Great villa for a relaxing stay in Bali. Cozy atmosphere, clean private pool, and good breakfasts that make mornings perfect. Friendly and attentive staff, quiet and comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

Staff was so helpful and friendly. Greeted us by name every time we saw them, couldn't do enough to help us (extra linen, laundry recommendations, transport). They even gave our son food to feed the fish at our villa!

We recently booked this villa after seeing beautiful pictures and reading very positive reviews on Booking.com — many guests gave it a perfect score. Based on this, we were excited and hopeful for a pleasant stay. However, upon arrival, we were quite surprised. The first villa we were offered was located right on the main road, and the noise from motorbikes and traffic made it extremely difficult to relax or sleep. We requested a change, and the staff kindly offered another unit slightly further from the road. While this was a kind gesture, the noise levels were still uncomfortably high — it truly felt like sleeping on the roadside. Another point to mention is the difference between the photos online and the current condition of the property. The villa shown on Booking.com looks modern and fresh, but the real-life appearance feels quite dated and worn, like the pictures were taken years ago. I’ve attached some photos for reference, so future guests can have a clearer picture. Additionally, we noticed the villa was not as clean as expected, and there were quite a few mosquitoes during our stay, which led to some bites. While I understand that everyone’s expectations are different, and some guests may still enjoy this place, I personally found the experience didn’t match the online presentation. I also recommend checking reviews not only on Booking.com, but also on Google Maps, where you may find more up-to-date and honest feedback. This is just my personal and sincere review, in hopes it helps others make an informed decision based on what they’re looking for.

The interior is a bit older than it looks in the pictures. Nothing big, if they made some minor renovations (wall and wood painting, cleaning tile joints), it'd look the same.

Our family had an incredible stay at Papillon Villas. From the moment I booked, the communication was proactive and helpful. I wanted to surprise my parents and my sister/brother-in-law for their anniversary, and the villa team executed the surprise spectacularly! A special thank you to Gita and the entire staff for their superb service. They went truly above and beyond—Gita even jumped on his own bike to find a lost Grab driver to ensure our food arrived, and she personally went out to buy medicine when my brother-in-law fell ill. Every request was met with genuine happiness and joy. The villa itself was spacious and perfect for a large family, and the master bathroom was a personal favorite due to its size. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Canggu. Kudos to the team for the amazing hospitality!

My only minor suggestion for improvement would be regarding the pond near the entrance. It may benefit from more frequent cleaning to prevent mosquitoes; alternatively, converting that space into a Zen garden would be a beautiful way to eliminate the water and remove any tripping hazards for guests arriving in the evening

L'emplacement, sur une route très passante et non sécurisé ou il est difficile de faire 50m pour aller au restaurant. La circulation est horrible, et les différents points intéressants, visite ou plage, sont à plus d'une heure même s'ils sont loin que de quelques kilomètres. Le petit déjeuner peut être revu et amélioré voir l'adapter aux enfants.

It was very spacious, nice aesthetic, clean and the staff really friendly. The location also is really good. It’s is a value for money option.

The breakfast options could be improved as well as the quality of the ingredients . Also, some minor details could upgrade the experience, like more towels, bathrobes, and toothpaste for all guests could really enhance the stay.

Very spacious 2 br villa for 3 people staying.

Our villa was right next to the road and very noisy. We had a cat that would come in the lounge area at night and tip the bin over making a mess. We found cat vomit on the lounge on our last morning before checking out. A little disappointed.

The villas were close to lots of restaurants and cafes.

Once again the pictures on booking.com were not up to date. The villas are in need of renovation and a deep clean! They lacked luxury and the bedding was old and torn. All bedding and towels could do with replacing. There are fish in the pools as you go into the villas and I am unsure as to if they were fed whilst we were there. All the villas need a lick of paint too and a bit of brightness in them

staff — they were kind, polite, and always willing to help. We truly appreciated their friendliness and quick response whenever we needed assistance. However, there were several serious issues that made our stay uncomfortable. The villa did not match the photos. We frequently encountered cockroaches upon arrival, and there were large ants in the bedroom. The bathroom window couldn’t be closed, which allowed insects to fly in whenever the lights were on. The breakfast area was quite dirty — the jug with juice was not clean, and the food itself was not tasty. Overall, it was unpleasant to eat or spend time there. The most unpleasant issue was with the toilet. Water was leaking from it, causing a bad smell in the bathroom. Later, the toilet got completely clogged and stopped flushing. The staff offered to move us to another villa, but we didn’t want to waste time relocating, as we had planned trips and only a few days left of our holiday. They eventually fixed the problem, but overall, our stay was not enjoyable.

The service and staff at this villa were truly exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. We also greatly appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness of the villa, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. The presence of cafes and food outlets within easy walking distance added a degree of convenience to the location..

The villa itself felt somewhat dated and could benefit from some updates. A significant limitation was the lack of air conditioning in the living room, which restricted comfortable use of the common areas during hot days. While there are nearby eateries, a wider variety of options requires a short drive of 2-3 kilometers.
