Top hotel, lekkere kamers, schoon, goede locatie en super vriendelijk personeel (met name Martin is de vermelding waard, hij levert echt top service met een hele grote glimlach). Dit was voor ons de 2e keer dat we Casa del Coliseo bezochten (1e x was 11 jaar geleden) en beide keren was de ervaring super!

Todo! Servicio, confort, ubicación, masaje y piscina teniendo todo a 10min a pie de todos los lugares de interés de Cartagena. Todo fue excelente!

Muy bien ubicado, super limpio y cómodo. Muy silencioso para poder descansar. Buenísimo y super recomendado.

Das Haus ist wunderschön, kolonial, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Das Haus strahlt Ruhe aus und duftet fantastisch. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Trotz der zentralen Lage kriegt man Abends wenig bis gar nichts von außen mit.

Lovely quirky hotel ideally located in the old town. Premises is tastefully converted old building, with rooms all individually laid out. Breakfast very good with excellent service in lovely setting. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The roof top pool was ideal for relaxing.

L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter le centre historique et Getsemaní. Le personnel est très accueillant, sympathique. Le niveau de service est vraiment bien. Christian à l accueil nous a donné plein de conseils sur les restaurants. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Le salon est parfait pour se reposer. La décoration est magnifique

Un séjour exceptionnel ! Hôtel calme et parfaitement situé, idéal pour profiter de Carthagène tout en étant au calme. Les chambres et les espaces communs sont très propres et agréables. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, varié et de grande qualité. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe pour son accueil et sa gentillesse, avec une mention spéciale à Martin, dont l'attention, la disponibilité et le professionnalisme ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Perfekte Lage, mitten in der Altstadt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Sehr schönes Haus, äußerst stilvoll eingerichtet. Im ganzen Hotel herrscht eine ruhige, sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Freundliches Personal. Sehr schneller, aufmerksamer, individueller Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Einziger Schwachpunkt ist das "Kontinentale Frühstück". In Menge, Vielfalt und Produktauswahl sehr wenig und einfach. Es entsteht der Eindruck, daß hier an allem gespart wird. Für ein 4-Sterne-Haus völlig unangemessen und wirkt eher peinlich.

Hotel no estilo colonial com instalações modernas e confortáveis de Televisão, ar condicionado e chuveiros quentes e com boa pressão. Café da manhã a la carte com muitas opções de comida regional e bastante comida mesmo. Piscina no terraço com vista bonita e aquecida. Tinha bicicletas para uso mas não chegamos a pegar. O destaque fica para a equipe que é muito atenciosa e educada em todo o processo de check-in, café da manhã e para retirar dúvidas via WhatsApp. Recomendado. Excelente custo benefício para uma estadia no centro com muito conforto.

Não possui restaurante (não é um problema porque devem ter mais de 20 num raio de 50 metros).

This place was really nice and clean. Located inside the walled city close to everything a tourist wants to visit. The pier is only a 6 min walk. The staff was amazing and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The room was really cold as it had AC and a fan. Mini fridge to store stuff and a safe. Will stay here again.

Lovely location in a beautifully renovated historic building at the centre of Old Cartagena. We had a room with romeo and juliet balcony and enjoyed the view of the city and people. The room was very quiet in spite of being in a noisy area. The room was very clean and staff was extraordinary in attention and service (in the room and facilities). Breakfast was delicious and staff attentive.

Value for money. The room was quite small for the price. The decor was ok.. dark rooms. The hotel had very limited facilities and the restaurant only served breakfast. The bed was not the most comfortable. We stayed at another hotel in Cartagena at the end of our trip that was superior and less expensive. Only instant coffee in the room.

Amazing hotel and location! Great value. Zero complaints.

Good location, within walking distance of everything and down the street from Plaza Santo Domingo. Our room was clean and minimal, with a balcony looking out on the street. It served its purpose for this trip but the location is a bit crazy and right across the street from a KFC, so I think we would choose to stay somewhere else next time.

Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance the entire time we were here, which was disappointing (especially during such humid and sweltering days). I do wish we had been told ahead of time this would be the case as the pool was a big draw in our booking. We ended up booking a day pass at the Sofitel’s pool instead.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and staff with amazing concierge that were very helpful, kind and professional. It was my first time visiting Colombia for a wedding and it was a lovely experience.

We arrived and were welcomed with an amazing fruit drink. Christian, Martin were amazing, so helpful. This hotel takes you back in time. The spanish architecture is stunning. Such a lovely experience.Every morning we had an amazing free breakfast. The pool was beautiful, so peaceful we were the only ones using. Felt like this was our own house to use. They make you feel number one. If you’re looking for a quaint, charming 5 star experience then you need stay here when you visit Cartagena. My husband and I will return for sure. Many thanks to everyone making our stay so enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was excellent and felt very safe, which made it easy to relax and explore the area. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated having access to the pool—it was the perfect way to unwind and cool off after a busy day.

There wasn’t anything that I disliked. I would just say don’t get your washing done here as it’s very expensive.

The historic building is beautiful and full of character, and at the same time everything has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The common areas are cozy and perfect for relaxing. My room was quiet and very comfortable — a great place to rest after a day in Cartagena. The rooftop pool is fantastic, especially in the heat. But what really made this place special were the people: the staff are super, super friendly and made me feel welcome from the very first moment. A perfect mix of charm, comfort, and great hospitality.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had! From the room cleaning service to the breakfast and the concierge (who gave fantastic Cartagena recommendations), everything was executed flawlessly. It was incredibly easy to feel at home. 100% recommended!

La localisation est parfaite en plein centre de carthagène, le petit déjeuner est super bon avec plusieurs options, la salle du petit déjeuner est belle avec un beau balcon, l’architecture de la maison est belle et le salon est magnifique. Le ménage passe chaque jour et on rafraichit la chambre chaque soir quand on est sorti pour diner. Le lit est super confortable. La terrasse et la piscine sur le toit sont agréables pour se reposer.

Sur booking nous avons choisi une chambre de 25 m carré et nous avons eu une chambre plus petite de 22m carré et le réceptionniste n’a fait aucun effort pour réctifier celà. En arrivant, on a trouvé un petit mot de bienvenue mais avec le nom d’une autre personne, je l’ai remis au réceptionniste mais aucune excuse ou attention. Nous n’avions pas de miroir dans la chambre. Nous avions un séjour de 3 nuits et les produits de bain (mouchoir ou coton) n’ont pas été remis quand nous avions utilisés ceux qui étaient là. Notre chambre donnait sur la rue donc du bruit la nuit mais on s’y attendait.

En fait nous avons été un peu inquiet en arrivant à l’enregistrement. Sans charme, genre hôtel deux étoiles. Le personnel était très accueillant mais nous nous sommes inquiété de la suite. Ce qui s’est avéré de très bonne tenue. Meubles et équipements et piscine mériterait un rafraîchissement.

Hotel situato nel pieno centro storico di Cartagena e pertanto in posizione ottima per poter girare comodamente a piedi sia di giorno che di notte. L'hotel è sicuramente suggestivo, trattandosi di un edificio coloniale perfettamente tenuto, ristrutturato e che allo stesso tempo ha conservato i suoi tratti originari. La colazione à alla carta e si può scegliere tra tre diverse opzioni, non c'è molta varietà, ma alla fine il cibo non è poco e spazia dal dolce al salato, oltre alla frutta. Ho trovato l'albergo molto pulito e lo staff disponibile.

Decisamente caro rispetto a quello che offre. Sicuramente il prezzo elevato è dovuto alla posizione (pieno centro) e al fatto di essere un hotel boutique, però l'ho trovato veramente esagerato per il tipo di albergo, che benché bello, non valeva la cifra pagata. Infatti una delle due stanze che abbiamo prenotato, quella standard, era veramente piccola e non si poteva praticamente aprire la finestra per via del rumore dei motori dell'aria condizionata delle altre stanze, dando nel chiostro interno. Migliorerei l'offerta della colazione.

Had a great stay. The room was lovely - cute, clean, safe, quiet, and had good aircon. Shared facilities are great - shared lounge area, small balconies overlooking the streets and lovely rooftop pool. The staff are really lovely and attentive and even let us use the pool after checkout.

Not much to complain about - main complaint would just be that there wasn't much natural light in the room.

lo mejor del alojamiento fue la atención del personal, siempre dispuesto a ayudar en todo. También la ubicación es excepcional, si lo que buscas en la historia de la ciudad esta cerca de todo.

todo me gusto, pero creo que es importante mencionar que al ser un edificio antiguo tiene muchas escaleras, por lo que puede ser complejo para personas mayores que tienen dificultades de movilidad, en nuestro caso no fue un problema.

The staff were wonderful and the location was perfect. The hotel was beautiful!

Stunning property with a small rooftop pool right in the heart of the old town so close to everything. The communal lounge and dining room are open to use and lovely. There’s a fridge and kettle in the room. Bed super comfy and nice linen with huge towels and a great shower. The staff were sweet and polite and gave us good advice on going to the Rosario Islands. There are free bikes to use.

Our room (401) was in the basement so whilst super quiet it lacked any sort of view and didn’t have much natural light.

Casa del Coliseo has a wonderful location in the Cartagena walled city. Service was excellent, particularly from the reception staff who were super helpful and friendly. The turndown service was an unexpected bonus. Sadly, our room (103) felt like the worst of the “superior with views” category – it was small and the view was extremely limited. It was also right under the breakfast area and kitchen, so every morning we were woken up at 6am by staff preparing breakfast. The bathroom would flood every time we showered, as the drain couldn’t cope with the water flowing through.

It was expensive but perhaps that’s because Cartagena accommodation in the old town is.Despite the cost we would stay there again.

The location was excellent, in the historic walled city. The building itself was beautiful externally, internally and communal ereas were decorated with style. The staff were lovely, friendly when providing assistance.

The bathroom has no extractor fan and no vent to external fresh air. The pillows were not comfy It should be noted the balcony is only a Juliette balcony, cannot be sat out on

What a Stunningly, Beautiful Hotel!!! The architecture is really cool, and there are only 12 rooms. Nice pool on the roof with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere. I chose the one and only Suite and it was amazing! The staff are wonderful as well! Our hosts, Martin, Brayan and Christian were so attentive to our needs and made us feel right at home! Make sure you get up and have breakfast! So good! If coming here for New Years, this hotel has the perfect view of the fireworks and there was a band that we watched from the hotel’s balcony! Fabulous! FYI- it is loud on the streets, but the doors are pretty soundproofed. Couldn’t have made a better choice to stay at!

Para venderse como un hotel 5 estrellas, los servicios no lo son; masaje muy malo (pura sobada de espalda cuando pedí masaje deep tissue) desayuno muy limitado, habitaciones pequeñas y no insonorizadas.
