Ville gerne have haft det at vide. Der manglede håndklæder hver dag. De tog de brugte men glemte at lægge nye.
A true disappointment. What was shown on the website was NOTHING like the room. The toilet was broken, the room was not cleaned, no to mention the things included like breakfast, safe or a hairdryer they refused to honor even after showing them my confirmation. I could even feel the coils in the bed.
Overall it was what I expected. However my reservation included free breakfast (as noted in my confirmation email as well as on the listing). When I showed them my confirmation email which stated I had free breakfast included they told me that they would not provide it as on their end it said I only paid for the room. I told them that was rediculous as i had paid for room and breakfast and it was stated in my confirmation email. I had to argue with the hotel manager for 20 minutes before he finally gave in and said “for you, my friend, we will give breakfast” as if they were doing me a favor or something. I paid for it! Bad customer service.
Big rooms, good breakfast and nice pool. Some communication issues
Siem Reap was nice, but very hot in May. The hotel was nice and a close location to Pub Street area. The staff were fantastic and always smiling. The rooms were a little dated but the stay was nice. I would recommend with one caveat. If you’re traveling alone (as a female mainly), the pathway to the hotel from the hotel is not completely lighted. While I felt completely safe, my female companion made the point that she would be fearful of walking it alone. Overall, a. I’ve hotel with courteous staff, a nice breakfast, reasonably priced and a nice location.
Ideal location for the central markets and pub street just a five minute stroll away. Friendly staff
Stayed here with my mum. On arrival was told they had booked our room out to another couple but arranged a room with two beds for us. This turned out to be one bed and a cot (which was hard as a rock and wouldn't have been suitable for a whole week). Asked to change rooms, they refused, asked for a refund, they refused. Eventually they agreed to give us a room with 2 real beds if we stayed one night in the other. Of the two rooms we saw, they were nothing like the pictures, all the personality has been taken out of them. Grey walls & bad patch jobs, no artwork in the rooms. Some of the furniture is gone; We had to boil the kettle on the floor as the table was removed. They had no toiletries or soap, beds were made everyday but we would often have to go & ask for things like toilet paper, towels or water as they forgot to replace these a lot. We had no hot water for 3 days & we lost power 4 times while I was there. This seemed to be regular in Siem Riep although all other hotels in the street had back up generators. When we lost the power we had no water at all & day one it was out for over 8 hours. The food was okay but they kept running out of items and didn't replace them. Eventually they only had 6 things on the lunch menu. It was nice that the breakfast was included although the toast and was half a loaf of untoasted white bread. Great if you like eggs though, fried, scrambled or omelettes, your pick as long as its eggs. Honestly wouldn't stay here again.
Very friendly small resort on the river & walking distance to downtown siem Reap. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Bathroom appears half completed? But nice pool. Breakfast included is convenient.
Travelling around Cambodia. This place is perfect. We spent a day walking around all the temples in Angkor Wat, then one day relaxing. This hotel isn’t perfect for relaxing. We spent the day by the pool but it’s also just a short walk from all the bars and restaurants. Ideal! We go back in a heartbeat!
Staffs are hospitable , food are great , locations are excellent. Great value overall , very pleased
Generally the hotel was fine and staff friendly and helpful. Where they could improve is the restaurant where service was slow and cold drinks only tepid. We found the location convenient but also quiet.
An extremely comfortable stay with very hospitable staff. We felt very welcomed. We were picked up from the airport and dropped off at the bus station at the end of our stay which was very convenient. The location is good, everything in Siem Reap is within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean and spacious with nice features. One thing we could suggest to improve the room would be hooks for towels and jackets, but that is a very minor point. The member of staff who picked us up from the airport was very chatty and enthusiastic about giving us a tour of the temples and other attractions. He sounded very knowledgeable and I'm sure the tour would have been great, but after a busy few days in Bangkok we wanted to take things more at our own pace and save a bit of money. We hired a tuktuk driver called Chan (hope the spelling is right!) through the hotel and he was absolutely fantastic - put in so much effort to make us comfortable, obligingly stopped wherever we requested and provided free water and cold towels. Couldn't recommend more.
We stayed 5 nights. Included pick up from the airport was easy in a modern car.Our first allocated room on entry stunk of cigarette smoke so we immediately requested another. This turned about to be similar in size and appointments, including a huge bed. Very quiet being at the back. Even quieter with apparently no one staying over at the YHA next door. Very cosy boutique hotel with good swimming pool. Home away from home! A lovely garden setting bringing in lots of butterflies. Watch for the geckoes around the walls cleaning and gulping various insects. A la Carte breakfasts from the menu (American and Cambodian stile), and you can ask for anything extra. Hotel just a couple of hundred metres from the old night market and over the bridge from the day market (then thru to Pub Street). Customer service was good, receptionists speak good English, very friendly and obliging with all our requests. Our flight was at 7 pm, so they allowed us to take a swim and to take a shower in the afternoon before going to the airport.
This was the best place to stay for us as a family. The staff is amazing. The bed, pool, and cold beer were perfect after a day of exploring. We could not have been been happier. If you need a guide (you should) Kosal is the man. He loves his country and is so full of knowledge. Thank you.
The place itself is quite charming and lovely. The service is super: especially from Rassy and Kosal. Only minus is that the rooms were a bit dusty and not bright enough.
Had an amazing stay! The staff is absolutely the best - very friendly and accommodating! Make sure to ask for Kosal if you need a guide!
Very nicely decorated place but I was particularly impressed with the excellent service by the hotel staff. Everyone from the reception to the kitchen was smiling and made us feel very welcomed. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Will definite book this again when I am back.
Beautiful property, excellent location, and amazing staff. The breakfast was also very good. I had a wonderful stay at The Seda Villa and will love to come back and stay again someday!
The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and on the day that we left early to visit Angkor Wat, the staff prepared a packed breakfast for us to take. The pool/terrace area is a lovely place to relax and watch the sunset. It was only a 10 minute walk to the hotels and bars around Pub Street. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Great everything from service to location and everything in between.
outstandingly friendly, neat and clean hotel where you'll stay JUST the right walking distance from the crazy noise that comes from Pub Street surroundings. A real must! The cozy, super cute pool only adds to the many great qualities.
Overall experience rating 4/5 for staff and accommodation...could be higher if not for a useless shower stall which leaks and keeps the floor tiles constantly wet. Location is on the quiet road, only 5 minutes walk to the restaurants, market and bar scene. Few doors down the road has one day laundry service which is very good only charge $1/kg, drop before head out, ready by 6pm. Breakfast included, portion is reasonable, I guess they can give you more food if you need more. AC is good, Wi-Fi is good. No lift to second or 3rd floor but staff quickly help with luggages.
Services was extraordinary. I felt like home.
We had a fantastic stay at the Seda Villa. We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our trip in Cambodia and on the last night of our vacation. Going back felt like going back to visit family&friends at the end of our holidays. The hotel is small, but it has everything you need in Siem Reap. The hotel is very close to the Artisan night market and at a short walking distance from the busy area of town. Nonetheless, it was quiet at night and extremely safe. The rooms we stayed in were very clean, well appointed and decorated. The pool area is small but nice and well kept. Breakfast was good and well prepared. The staff was very nice, caring, professional and helpful. We had a fabulous time with Kosal, that acted as our guide to visit the temples and Tonle Sap lakes. This is an excellent choice if you want to avoid the large chain hotels and you prefer to stay in a small hotel with excellent service, close to downtown. Highly recommended.
The hotel located close to the center, easy to get eat and drink. The overall condition of the hotel is very good conpared to the room price. Rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy. Staff are bery friendly.
This is a small 6 room boutique hotel. It is conveniently located, about a 15 minute walk to Pub Street area where there are tons of shops and restaurants. The price is extremely reasonable and includes breakfast as well as airport pick-up. Great place, especially for those traveling on a budget.
We came from and went on to 5 star hotels , so you will understand that we were a little disappointed. The photos for this hotel are very, very good and make it appear much nicer than it is. The location is handy for shopping , bars , restaurants, etc. The price is affordable although direct contact with the Hotel would reveal an even better price is available for the asking. The owner is a very nice gentleman who is trying to provide affordable accommodation [and work ] for University students coming in from the rural sector ,and would otherwise face economic difficulty [ or impossibility ] in what is a very poor country
I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and it was a very pleasant experience. Do not expect a resort or big hotel, this is a lovely and beautiful villa with few rooms, pool, well decorated and big rooms, very close to the centre but more importantly very kind and respectful staff.
It's a nice mid-range hotel that is a close walk across the river to the Pub Street area as well as more local areas to grab food. The decor is a little unusual but it is clean and well situated with a solid breakfast. The staff is eager to help; sometimes a bit over eager, but they mean well.
Our stay at the Seda Villa was marvelous, a small property, away from the crowds yet a few minutes walk to the center of action in Siem Riep (old market, Pub Street). Service was excellent from airport pick up to airport return we were cared for personally by Mr. Kosal, a young friendly, intelligent and service oriented driver/guide. Our check out time was 12:00 noon, like all hotels, but since our flight wasn't until 11:30pm, they allowed us to keep the room until our departure to the airport. No big, chain hotel has ever done that for us. Staying at the Seda Villa was the best choice made this trip.
I stayed for 2 nights at the Seda Villa in the purple room. The bed and the room was very clean while the bathroom was well kept. My only comment regarding the room was the shower area. Inside the cubicle by the corner was some grim that seems to not have been cleaned properly. Else the room was spotless. The pool is really lovely and clean I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at The Seda Villa if visiting Siem Reap.
Fantastic hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were excellent. Situated a 2 minute walk from town, which makes it nice and quiet. Superb pool to escape the midday heat. No complaints
After a hot day of site seeing it was nice to get back to the lovely pool.
Our first call in Cambodia/Vietnam and a taste of things to come. Very pleasant, clean, quiet hotel, lovely (yellow) room, staff friendly and always ready to help, very fresh, tasty breakfast. Their contracted tuk tuk driver (A'Vong) took very good care of us for two and a half days, we were grateful for that. We would stay there - and ask for A'Vong - again.
WE stayed here on our trip to Siem Reap and it was amazing. They had a driver pick us up at the airport and shuttle us to the hotel. It is a smaller hotel with 6 rooms, but that does not mean it lacks services. The team there was extremely attentive to every need. They served a great breakfast and lunch, booked tours, transportation, and had strong suggestions for what to do with any down time from the temples. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable paradise in a great location.
Had a great stay. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Great pool to relax in after a long day of seeing the temples. 5 minute walk to pub street and great restaurants.
This is a great location, a wonderful pool, delicious food and great service. The only thing we found frustrating was that the wifi didnt work in our room, so we had to sit outside in the lobby, sometimes working until late. The staff tried to fix it, but to no avail. Otherwise, we loved it!
One afternoon and night. It was close to the city (old market) as described.
The seda villa is a really nice hotel. It has a beautiful decoration, and is near to the old town. The staff were kind and helpfull, they prepared our breakfast for the morning we went to see the sunrise to Ankor Wat.
We stayed at the Seda Villa in Siem Reap for two nights to visit the temples. We has a very positive experience and felt that we were getting genuine Cambodian hospitality. We ended up relying on the owner Sam for a lot, and he was incredibly helpful, organising a two day bike tour for us, helping us to get our washing done cheaply, and generally making our stay as comfortable as possible. The Seda Villa is more a guest house than a hotel, but was one of the best places we have stayed in on a 5 week tour of Asia. The rooms (pink and yellow) were very comfortable, the pool nice and refreshing, the breakfasts big enough to satisfy some demanding appetites, the internet was good and the service was very friendly. To give you an example, Sam had figured out from our passports that it was my son's birthday on our second day there, and a cake with his name on magically appeared at tea time. We had 48 hours to see the temples, and with very little notice, Sam organised a cycling guide and some bikes for us. It was a great experience and really good value. We rode around 20km each day and saw most of the temples including some that were hidden down jungle paths, and cycled on the top of the wall of Angkor Thom - an amazing experience. All in all highly recommended, a lovely place with a personal touch in a town that seems to be being overrun by sprawling, impersonal hotels.
Amazing hotel , good location, fantastic staff, couldn't do enough for us. Room was gorgeous, bright clean and very comfortable.
This tiny hotel is unique with its comfortable colour themed rooms containing everything you might need for a perfect stay. The staff arranged tuc tuc transfers and organised the temple visit for us. Breakfast is limited. Close proximity to markets, bars and restaurants. Lovely!
Great place to stay. We were looking for a good buy in Siem Reap and this was a great hotel. To be honest, we spent most if out time seeing the temples, but the owner used to be a guide and set us up with a great tour director. The hotel was a five minute walk into town and the staff offered some great recommendations for places to eat. Not the Ritz, but well worth the money and all you could need for a hotel in Cambodia.
It was off the main road, so it was nice and quiet. Yet, it was less than a 10 minute walk to the old market, pub street, and plenty of restaurants.
My wife and I picked this hotel because it fit our budget. The room was nice and the hotel served our basic needs. The staff were incredible. When we were leaving for Angkor Wat at 5 am, they packed us a breakfast to go in a picnic basket. The washroom shower head was a bit outdated but worked fine. There was a storm and the power went out a few times but came back within 10 mins. There was pool but we never used it because it was located near the lobby area and we didn't feel like putting on an exhibition for the hotel staff. The best part of the hotel was their driver, who picked us up from the airport and took us around to Angkor Wat and made a truly special connection with us.
We loved the hotel, staff and of course the pool where we relaxed after our visit to Angkor Wat. The hotel is only a short walk away from Siem Reap's centre. We can highly recommend this place!
Lovely boutique hotel in a great position. Close enough to walk to the action but far enough away to be very peaceful. Sam and his staff are always on hand to give advice and gave great service. I was in the blue room which is very spacious and comfortable. It looks good too! You will not be disappointed if you choose the Seda!
