1 MA wollte mir etwas verkaufen, trotz mehrfachem bekunden des nicht vorhandenen Intetesses versuchte er es weiter.

The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food does not have a wide variety, but the quality is very good and everything we tried was delicious. Overall, an excellent experience.

One thing I did not like was that there were not enough sunbeds around the pool. They were all taken from early in the morning, and many were reserved with towels even when no one was using them. It would be better to have enough sunbeds available for all guests.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire hotel staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. They always greeted me with a smile and were eager to help with anything I needed. The service was outstanding, and every detail made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. I truly appreciate all your hard work and hospitality, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Fantastic (almost) weeklong holiday doing aboslutely nothing other than read, eat, swim and sleep. For me, it was the first time doing absolutely nothing, always feeling the urge to go someplace. But not on this holiday. Although the Shams area is very large (the Prestige part being the adults only part) it feels very relaxed. Good food, great little bar on top, very nice apartments, friendly staff. The pool area is relatively small and therefore crowded, but we constantly went to the pool right next to Shams Prestige, which is much bigger often enough we had to ourselves. And next to that is yet another big swimming pool. Actual sea swimming is not really a thing (very undeep) but there's loads of chairs on the beach. If I'd have one negative thing, it would be the trying-to-sell a room upgrade on arrival. At first, it seems complimentary. Then you are shown the places: yes, the upgrade IS nicer, although the place we booked is absolutely fine too. We wanted to go for the upgrade, then were presented an extra bill of 400 Euro - this we declined, whereas the receptionist wanted to persist. It started slightly irritable that way, after a night flight without sleep, but this passed quickly. If I were them, I'd not try and sell (unasked for) upgrades this way. Also, one tip here. Accommodate some space for non-smokers. There was a LOT of smoking everywhere (even ashtrays in the apartment, yuck). Another reason why we were never at the Prestige pool area: it felt like a Marlboro clubhouse. If at the restaurant or top bar you want to stay away from the awful scent of cigarettes, you're confined to the inner restaurant/bar. That said, the smokers would love it, and at times it felt they were a vast majority, so that makes sense too. It would be nice of smokers were a little more considerate, especially at the restaurant terrace.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da, weil es beim ersten Mal so traumhaft war. Und es war wieder genau so traumhaft. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und sehr aufmerksam. Das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Es gibt keine störende Animation. Essensbuffet ist klein, aber qualitativ hochwertig. Es gibt außerdem ein á la Carte Menü. Man kann auch die Angebote der anderen Hotels in der Anlage nutzen. Allgemein ist die Anlage sehr gepflegt und wird kontinuierlich instand gehalten. Wir haben wenig der Angebote genutzt, da wir hauptsächlich mit dem Tauchcenter unterwegs waren (das übrigens auch sehr empfehlenswert ist!!).

Das Mobiliar ist etwas abgewohnt und könnte erneuert werden (wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer in 2. Reihe zum Strand). Aber m.W. sind bereits einige Zimmer renoviert und dieser kleine Makel stört kein bisschen.

Great. Must be the best place I have ever been to. The service was impeccable, friendly and always there when needed. Ok, the breakfast coffee refill took a while sometimes if ordering something else than the standard big coffee pot (big enough for 2 and very good). Food varied, themed dinners, buffet style most of the time. We were in the third row , 3002, still a limited sea view, very nice. Next door to the reception but a separate building so no noise at all. These rooms have not been renovated in a while and there was some very minor signs of wear but no problem at all. Safe, fridge, soft drinks, very hot water in shower, water boiler with tea/coffee . Very beautiful gardens, everything was being taken care of constantly. Great beach with a lot of sunbeds, no need to rush. With a low wind protection "wall" on 2 sides, that was essential on those windy days. We had a excursion to Luxor on one morning at 4.45 so we had take-away breakfast waiting for us in the reception. (instant coffee in the room) , that was the only disappointment: fruits, juice, water and stuffed rolls with bad cheese.

A superb all inclusive adults only hotel, Staff fantastic, restaurant really nice the bungalows lovely. A nice beach however not snorkeling friendly but chances are that you will see green seaturtles since it’s a lot of grass areas but no corallreef. Beware of the surfers though when it’s windy.

My husband and I just returned from this lovely hotel, we had second row superior room with a terrace and Jacuzzi with some beach views, It’s a 35 minute cab ride from the airport & did feel that we were a bit in the middle of nowhere as only 3 Shams hotels in a row on the beach, we went to the Prestige which was adults only, but from the time we got there, it was just fantastic, the food, drinks and tranquility was just lovely and what we wanted and all the staff were kind, happy & helpful, we will return as such a great holiday, I celebrated my birthday whilst we were away and the hotel brought us a lovely cake and the staff sang to me after our meal 🥰

Ich komme das 8 mal ins shams prestige. Es ist ein super Hotel und der Service und auch die Zimmer sind super.

Das Essen hat etwas nachgelassen in den letzten 2 Jahren es ist immer noch gut aber es wahr schon besser.

We stayed for a week in January and found the Shams Prestige to be very relaxing and quiet. The staff are really attentive and friendly and genuinely want to make your stay special. Special mention to Mr Ali, Mohammed from the beach, Samir, Abaas the barman, and all the restaurant staff who go the extra mile. Every night in the restaurant was a different theme and the gala dinner was excellent. This is the adults only hotel and we really appreciated that this was enforced so that the atmosphere remained a bit more upmarket. There is no entertainment here but if that is your thing you can go next door to the sister hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The staff members have been absolutely amazing! They really made our experience at this hotel so much better! The food had a great variety all very tasteful dishes. Superb!

Nur für Erwachsene und eher kleinere Hotel

Essen nicht mehr auf dem Niveau von vor drei Jahren. Zimmerpersonal musste immer auf fehlende Sachen (Wasser, Papiertücher) aufmerksam gemacht werden Preis/Leistung stimmt für mich nicht mehr!

Ich war bereits schon mehrmals dort und es ist ein Top Hotel. Personal hat sich auch fast nicht verändert, zur Erholung und Ruhe ist es bestens zu empfehlen. Herrlich. Dazu diese ehrliche Freundlichkeit von Allen. Essen Top! Manager erkundigt sich oft bei allen Gästen nach Befinden bzw. ob etwas fehlt. Bekam sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade in ein Superior Zimmer mit Außen-Whirlpool. Ich werde wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Geschäfte fußläufig bzw. mit Taxi (ggfs.) kleine Ortschaft erreichbar. Soul-Spa für Massagen (gehört zur Shams-Kette) ebenso sehr zu empfehlen, top ausgebildetes Personal! Soul-Spa ist im Hotel Imperial nebenan, ca. 4 Gehminuten

I like the jacuzzi and the beach. Rather than that this hotel is 3 stars. I feel bad from booking to mention its 5 stars and I couldn't cancel my booking, as I was going to be fully charged.

Room AC is very bad. Drinks are very bad.

Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Due to the fact that the hotel is comparatively small to the neighbouring hotels, the restaurant had a great "restaurant" feeling that you simply cannot get at very large restaurants. The staff was extremely polite, helpful. As we also used the watersports facility (ION - Club; great equipment and facilities by itself - highly recommended) for Wing Foiling, the hotel was the perfect location for us. We can highly recommend the hotel !

We absolutely loved this little gem of a hotel. If you are after peace and relaxation this is the place for you. The staff are all incredible and can't do enough for you, always with a smile. The food was excellent and varied, we were spoilt for choice. If you like lively, party atmosphere then this is not the place for you. If you want an escape with the friendliest staff you will not find better. We will be returning next year.

Perfect one week vacation. Hotell and service was more than expected. Restaurant service perfect. Food is only thing that coud of been tastier. Pool area nice and cozy. We enjoyed sun by the beach. Sunbeds were nicely situated and service was excellent there too.

Adult Hotel was very comfortable, beautiful view, excellent restaurant with great service. The ION kite club very nearby and you can see the kites flying, this is beautiful and very convenient for kiters like me. Very nice pool and beach. This is a nice, relaxing and quite place.

A wonderful place !!! I really enjoyed this hotel, all the services and the kindness of the employees. A quiet and very nice environment, the room very comfortable, the jacuzzi on the terrace, in front of the sea was such amazing ! The restaurant offered some various and delicious dishes, and I enjoyed the barbecue evening on the beach. I recommend this hotel and I will certainly come back soon !

This is our second holiday in the beautiful Shams Prestige Hotel. Everything about this hotel is first class. If i could give it more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a totally relaxing holiday experience. Thank you to all the staff that made our holiday magical. We will be back next year.

The varied food. Especially the mix of local and international cuisine. Room 1008 was perfectly located. Right next to the pool and 5m from the beach. Still very quiet as there is no annoying animation at the Prestige.

The speed of the internet connection. Wifi connection is good, but the configured bandwidth was poor at 1.5Mbit/s. (the manager will take care of this problem).

Shams prestige staff are very helpful and professional.

I don’t like the attitude of the waiters at imperial shams abou soma, since I was told that I can use all the facilities there.

Exceptional food and a unique spot for kite surfing

Rundum-Sorglos-Paket - toller, flacher Sandstrand - unglaublich fürsorgliches Personal! Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Bed was very comfortable (pillows were not, but nowhere at the Red Sea you will find good pillows), beautiful view, excellent restaurant with great service. The ION kite club very nearby and you can see the kites flying, this is beautiful and very convenient for kiters like me. Note that other guests were not kiters but rather elderly nice Germans. Very nice pool and beach. This is a nice, relaxing and quite place.

Difficult to open the door with the magnetic card. For both rooms I visited the staff had this problem. Same for me, it was taking me at least 8 tries each time until the door would open. It may be a battery problem. Hope the hotel will fix that soon.

a great place for relaxing and good service

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem schönen Strand. Schnorcheln ist in Strandnähe möglich. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr ruhig und eignet sich ideal zum erholen. Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Sauberkeit der Anlage ist sehr gut.

Sehr schöne und ruhig, sehr gutes Essen und freundlicher Service ( sprechen englisch und deutsch), große Zimmer, Tauchschule (sehr gute Guide und Equipment) ist fussläufig. Immer wieder gerne!

Strålande hotell för lugn och ro. Systerhotellen som man kunde besöka höll en avsevärt lägre standard. Bra personal framförallt receptionen.

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist in diesem kleinen Resort richtig. Es gibt keine Animation, keine Strandverkäufer, keine Kinder und hauptsächlich Gäste aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Auf der einen Seite sind die beiden Schwesterhotels, deren Einrichtungen (zB. Fitnessraum, Spa, Restaurant, Bar) von den Gästen des Prestige mitbenutzt werden können. Auf der anderen Seite ist eine Kite-Station und Wüste. Also wirklich ruhig. Von allen Mitarbeitern wird man von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise aufmerksam, freundlich und unaufdringlich umsorgt. Fragen, Wünsche oder Probleme kann man jederzeit äußern und diese werden (nach Möglichkeit) umgehend beantwortet, erfüllt bzw. behoben.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, sehr ruhig und direkt an drei Wassersportschulen gelegen (Kiten, Tauchen, Windsurfen). Das Essen ist hervorragend und wird auf einer wunderschönen Terrasse angeboten.

Hier kann man wunderbar Relaxen und Ausspannen. Eine zauberhafte, kleine Hotelanlage ohne Kinder und Animation. Die Freundlichkeit und Servicebereitschaft aller Mitarbeiter sind Weltklasse. Extrawünsche werden sehr gerne erfüllt, und falls es doch einmal ein Problem gibt, wird dieses auch umgehend behoben.

This is a small, low-rise luxury hotel with a private beach area. Rooms are large, well equipped and, I think, all have sea views. The hotel caters for adults only and has a relaxed feel with friendly and attentive staff. I stayed on an all inclusive basis and the standard of service and food was high. Hazem on reception was especially attentive to guests ensuring that all their needs were being met while at the hotel. I used the transfer service arranged by the hotel (from Hurghada) which at 35 Euro for a return journey, seemed good value. I chose the hotel because of the good reviews and because there is a kite station adjacent, although I ended up using Tornado surf's kite boat service (also excellent) in the end and didn't kite off the beach. I'd highly recommend this hotel based on my stay for one week in September 2017.

Hotel is toe aan een grondige make-over. Onderhoud slecht. Eten kan met meer variatie en fantasie. Prijs-kwaliteit is scheef.

Wir reisen aufgrund der Nähe zum Kitestrand in dieses Hotel und freuen uns immer wieder dorthin zu kommen. Zuvorkommendes Personal, gute Qualität der Verpflegung, große und saubere Zimmer - mehr brauchen und erwarten wir nicht. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Preise sind in den letzten Jahren stark angestiegen.
