La gentillesse du personnel la propreté du lieu la qualité des installations. Le personnel est très professionnel, arrangeant et toujours aux petits soins. Franchement on a adoré ce lieu.

L'emplacement reste pour moi le seul point moins positif car c'est un peu loin de la ville. Sinon c'est un lieu magnifique.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man wird bestens versorgt und auch das Unmögliche wird möglich gemacht.

Die Animation war extrem laut und es hat Tage gedauert bis verstanden wurde, dass es nach 22 Uhr gerne Musik geben kann, aber nich die gesamte Anlage beschallt werden muss.

Séjour exceptionnel dans un cadre idyllique avec la plage privée et la superbe piscine. Le snorkeling depuis la plage est impressionnant avec plein de poissons variés, coraux et même une raie. Le personnel de l'hôtel est aux petits soins pour que l'on passe un très bon séjour, merci à Farag et toute son équipe pour leurs petites attentions et leur gentillesse. L'hôtel est très bien organisé, propre, fleuri et super beau. La nourriture variée et bonne avec des plats qui changent chaque jour. Plancha et barcebue midi et soir, crêpes et omelettes tout les matins en bonus. Première fois que nous faisons du all inclusive et c'est génial. La chambre est grande, nettoyée à fond chaque jour, le lit est confortable, c'est bien isolé on a passé nos meilleures nuits à comparer des autres villes. J'ai apprécié les animations et l'ambiance familiale que cela crée, cela nous donne envie de revenir dans cet hôtel pour un prochain voyage en Egypte.

C'est un all inclusive qui reste bon (tout était Ok au buffet, mais pas très bon, ni exceptionnel). Après avoir constater que la bière était vraiment pas bonne, on a même pas tester les cocktails. La plage est pas loin, ainsi que le club de wing et de plongée.

Trop gros hôtel (un paquebot), animation/musique le soir bcp trop fort et tard. Nous avons préférer passer le reste du séjour au Shams lodge (bcp plus tranquille, sympa et agréable).

Emplacement parfait pour kiter. On ne pensait pas devoir payer 15 euros par jour pour pouvoir decoller son aile depuis le kite center, quand on utilise son propre matos! Les prix des locations exhorbitants 130 euros pour 2h de wing. Le spot est top mais les prix pratiqués par le kite center, totalement indépendant de l'hotel, ne nous feront pas revenir. L'hotel est très bien: la chambre supérieure vue mer avec sa grande terrasse est superbe. Homme d'entretien très gentil et souriant! On a aimé jouer au billard et au ping pong et aller à la salle de sport. 1 seule table de ping pong, cela n'est pas suffisant toutefois. Personnel de l'hotel serviable et agréable. On a apprécié d'avoir un check out à 13h au lieu de 12h.

Le buffet n'était pas terrible. Tous les jours on a les mêmes repas lesquels ne sont pas bons. Les pains pour le petit dej sont bons, c'est déjà ça mais pour le reste des repas on a très vite saruré. Heureusement on est resté qu'une semaine car on finissait par ne plus trop manger!

The animation team was very engaging and contributed positively to the overall experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist and resolve any issues promptly. Just back to the UK but wanted to leave a review asap. To start OMG I had the most amazing room but if call it a suite and one of the best rooms in the hotel. I can honestly say the best room I've ever stayed in and I travel a lot. Two terraces and one had a jacuzzi. The sea views were amazing. It has been one of the most pleasant & relaxing holidays I've also had. The beach and whole resort is amazing. The staff are wonderful, from the reception, waiters, beach attendants, both the pool & lobby bar staff. Not forgetting the lovely hotel manager who will assist you with any issue. Not a noisy loud hotel so if you're looking for a lively, party hotel then this isn't for you. I thought I'd want that but actually I loved this place. I loved chilling in my huge room after dinner with my cousin. Watching films and girly time. This hotel is 45 mins from main Hurgurda strip but taxis are cheap. Went to strip one night & glad I wasn't staying there. The food is my only negative. You wouldn't starve & the staff do their best but although great flavors but limited choices. It lacks things basic things like hot fresh Toasties or paninis at pool bar as loved these instead of breakfast or sit down lunch but that's just my taste. Also very cheap to do. Thank you Imperial abu shams for a wonderful stay. If defo return 😍💕

No free WiFi and even the signal for local networks are very week. The resort is more suitable for couples.

Amazing stay with breathtaking views! We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The views were absolutely beautiful and made every day special. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and everything was fresh and well prepared. A special mention goes to the animation team – they were fantastic, full of energy, friendly, and made the stay even more enjoyable. We truly felt relaxed and entertained. Highly recommended!

Absolutely exceeded my expectations everything was much better that on a pictures however the biggest jewel of this hotel is most definitely the people who make things work. All members of staff was so extra friendly and kind and polite and professional I need to name Mohamed from the reception who went above and beyond to make our stay special I will be forever grateful 🙏

Excellent facilities and great staff. We were placed in one of the newly renovated rooms which absolutely stunning. Ahmed and Mohammed (Momo) offered us amazing service but overall resort employees are very friendly and helpful. There resort offers a wide variety of food options and alcoholic beverages as part of their all inclusive package.

Having to pay for WiFi for use in room and around property. Free wifi is only available in lobby and restaurant but the signal is not great so you’re forced to get a wifi package. Another downside is the hot water availability in the room. The water in the shower doesn’t get hot to my preferred temperature

The living conditions were better than my expectations🙂 There were some fresh juice in the hall every day. Porter gently accompanied me to the room. My room was clean, big and bright. There were the high quality shampoo and gel in the bathroom. I could save my documents in the safe box. I used the bathrobe at my first time. The beds are soft and elastic. Also the air conditioning made the air fresh and cool. The breakfast was served at 7 a.m. The big variety of different kind of food was pleased me. Yoghurts, pancakess, eggs, pudding, veggies, fresh fruits, cakes etc. The lunch was started at 1 a.m. The stuff were friendly and courteous. They offered the glass of wine. The bar usually was opened at 3pm and closed at 6 am. You could order any cocktails even alcoholic. I had the Paradise my first time. Also I amazed the price of taxi even cheaper than the Uber or another taxi services! Luckily I was at Christmas party. I was like in thec"food museum". I saw a lot of picturesque dishes. I hardly recommend to visit this hotel! I exactly stay at Imperial hotel my next vacation! You made my year 😍😍😍

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It's truly beachfront - you can use the hotel bar from the beach chairs. It's spacious and comfortable. There's more than one restaurant and bar options with service available throughout the day. There's a good variety of food, and it's very well prepared. The hotel gym is well-equipped. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a balcony, minibar, and tea and coffee making facilities, which was great! One of the best things was the Quiet Zone - there's a reserved space on the beach and a second pool with a quiet area, away from the music and entertainment service of the hotel. The staff are helpful, especially Mohammed at reception.

The mattress in the room where I stayed was already a bit worn and old. The hotel doesn't offer Wi-Fi - you have to pay to access the internet.

This was our second stay in the Imperial Shams hotel for this year. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome at reception. Everyone is very friendly, receptionist, front desk managers, waiters, cleaning staff, luggage staff.... The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is also good, although sometimes repetitive for the main meal, but the salads and sweets couldn't be any better. When you see the reality outside the hotel, you understand how hard everyone there works to give guests the best possible experience. Thank you again - we will be back.

All inklusive, haben alles erhalten was wir wünschten. Meine Frau musste Glutenfrei essen und der Koch hat sie immer beraten was sie essen darf. Essen hat uns ( Familie mit 2 Söhnen 18. Und 19 Jahre ) sehr gut geschmeckt. In dieser Gegend geht oft ein leichter Wind und dadurch fühlt man sich gut gelaunt für viele Aktivitäten. Uns hat diese Anlage nach einigen Tagen besser gefallen als manch andere , welche besser bewertet waren. Toller Strand service.

From the start of our trip until the end, the hotel staff were fantastic. Our cleaner was always attentive and polite, and the restaurant staff were mindful and quick to clear the tables. A special acknowledgment goes to Mohammed at reception – he was truly a star, extremely service-minded, and made our stay so much more comfortable. Overall, we’re very pleased with the hotel, the staff, and our holiday in Egypt with them.

If anything - the wifi situation could be better handled.

Stay at the hotel was good, food was fine. The entertainment team was the best, especially Afroto who kept us well informed about the activities and keeping up high spirits and a good mood.

Nothing but good memories! The hotel is large, spacious, and very clean. The entire staff was friendly and very, very helpful. There is a clinic nearby in case of illness and a spa for pleasure. Several swimming pools, bath towels provided daily. Comfortable large sun loungers and umbrellas by the sea. The beach was large and clean. Great view and atmosphere! And now the most important thing for me—delicious food! I have a food allergy, and Chef Ahmed Ebeid personally took care of me every day, showing me what I could eat. He was very committed, we could always talk, and thanks to that, I didn't have to worry about food. There was a large selection, even with my allergy. Thank you for a wonderful time at your hotel, I will recommend it to my friends and I will gladly come back!

Terrible Wi-Fi and they make you pay for better Wi-Fi which wasn’t all that better. And the lift often got stuck or the doors wouldn’t open.

I had a wonderful experience with Sea Star Aqua Center at Imperial Shams Abu Soma. Special thanks to Ahmed and his team on the boat🥰 – they were so professional, kind, and always made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, with colorful corals and lots of fish. The equipment was in great condition, and everything was very well organized. Thanks to Ahmed and his crew, this trip became one of the highlights of my holiday🤩. I can truly recommend them to anyone visiting the hotel!

**Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service & Fantastic Watersports** We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms felt very new—spacious, clean, and with comfortable beds. The food was diverse and delicious, catering to different tastes. The beach was expansive, and the sea was shallow for about 60 meters before gradually getting deeper. We were delighted to discover several coral reefs teeming with fish and even turtles! If you enjoy proper swimming, there’s a designated 70-meter swimming strip located behind the buoy line to the right, closer to the Ion Club windsurf station. Speaking of which, **Ion Club** was the highlight of our trip—they’re world-class and absolutely lived up to their reputation. The station is just a 10-minute leisurely walk along the beach, and we had an amazing time with their activities. A special shout-out to **Roby**, the hotel’s animation team member, who made our stay even more fun with her enthusiasm and helpfulness. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families and watersports enthusiasts. We’ll definitely be back!

Visited this hotel for 12 days back in June as a solo female traveller and in all honesty i would not come back. There are far better hotels in the same price range and the only plus here was the nice view from my room. Housekeeping was ok, although i did have to request a clean pillow as they were very dirty. The food was the worst i have experienced in any hotel, repetitive, bland, over cooked and if you didn't come early there was not much left. The beach is ok, the sea is very shallow even at high tide and you should definitely bring shoes. Service was bad even with generous tips. This hotel caters to locals which in itself is fine but beware you will be overlooked by the staff.

It's a desillusion this hotel quoted 4 stars: no door can be locked! The cleaning staff doesn't know what a detergent is, they only use water to "clean" the rooms, they don't have vacuum cleaners. The reception staff awaits money for anything. The food is under any expectations! Actually a lot of the Romanian tourists there are ill now because a bacteria in the food. My recommandation: DON'T you ever go there!

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Internet is only available in the lobby, and even then, it's very weak. The room was cleaned daily, but the staff didn't notice a ball of black hair in the shower that wasn't ours! The shower only has hot water. My mom and I were bitten by bedbugs once, and from what we saw, we weren't the only ones bitten. The food is a matter of taste, but it's very monotonous and there's not much choice. The pool is small and very crowded. The only attraction of this hotel is the beach, but it also has its drawbacks. There was chlorine in the drinks on the beach, which caused stomach problems. The sea is knee-deep, hotel staff constantly approach sunbeds, trying to persuade people to participate in various attractions and purchase various items. There wouldn't be anything wrong with that if they left us alone when they saw someone wasn't interested, but after five days of trying to persuade, we were very tired of the constant pressure. The hotel also had attractions, but they were very poor. The staff also tried to persuade you to participate, and if you refused, they would drag you by the hand just to go, which I found offensive. Another plus was the very friendly and helpful lifeguards, but that's about it! Constant renovations involving children. We literally saw a child mixing paint with his hand, and in the hotel shops, a child was trying to convince people to buy perfume. In my opinion, such behavior is immoral. I hope I never end up in a hotel like this again, and for such a lot of money!

We recently spent a week at Imperial Shams Abu Soma with my Polish family, and it was one of the most memorable holidays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff. Check-in was smooth, and the team was helpful and friendly throughout our entire stay, always ready to assist with a smile. In the evenings, we loved relaxing at the hotel bar. The atmosphere was laid-back, whether we were inside or out on the terrace. The bartenders were cheerful and made great cocktails—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the sun. The food at the restaurant was excellent. There was a wide variety of dishes, including both Egyptian and international cuisine, and everything was fresh and tasty. The service was consistently polite and professional. The hotel’s sandy beach was one of the highlights for us. It was clean, quiet, and the water was crystal clear—great for swimming and relaxing. There were always enough sunbeds, and having drinks from the beach bar made it even more enjoyable. As a family, we really appreciated how comfortable and welcoming the entire resort was. It’s not always easy to find a place that suits both adults and kids, but this one did. We left feeling relaxed and happy, and we’d gladly come back again. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful Red Sea holiday!

We had a positive exprerience overall, the staff were all very friendly and willing to help us. There were many activities to participace in through out the day and evening. The only thing that was missing was a “lost and find” place.
