Cheviot Park Motor Lodge

Lovely staff very helpful, clean and comfy unit and good parking

Can’t complain

Location and size of house

Driveway parking

We booked a studio, 1 bed apartment and a 3 bed house. All facilities were clean and tidy.

Entrance to the house was tricky due to drive way incline.

The set up was very nice, especially in the rooms. Had everything we needed and good amount of space. Pool & sap close up, lovely helpful staff. Would definitely go again

The houses are comfortable cosy and easy to access. I also appreciate the location is separate from the motel.

Excellent location, The house is perfect, lots of space, everything you need, reception was great. Enjoyed the Spa

the house was not serviced the next day , but no biggie reception was very helpful & very apologetic,

Room smelt damp and musty.

We liked the spa pool and beds were comfortable.

The road is quite loud, but you cant help that due to the location.

Really friendly and helpful staff.

We asked to book the spa and was told it was already booked and we would be notified of a cancelation. We sat outside even went for a swim and no one was in the spa.....🫤 this is one of the reasons we booked this motel was for recovery for our kids playing sport other than that we would stay again

road noise

Clean, simple and very easy to access

Everything was good. Nothing bad to say

Such a beautiful place to stay the owners are just as amazing, beds were comfortable, it has the feel of home away from home. I'll definitely be back with my family again

Sehr schön in Ausstattung und Komfort.

Die Lage am Highway und Entfernung zur Innenstadt nicht optimal.

Friendly, helpful owner, location close to hospital. Parking outside unit. Clean, comfortable accommodation.

Central, available, beds in unit for our family

Road noise can’t be helped by the establishment.

Very good location cozy spot

Clean, modern, tidy, great bed & pillows, great shower, great aircon, easy check-in & out, good close parking, secure property close to the hospital (which was our reason for staying) & Jan was just an absolute positive pleasure!

Nothing - the property/room was perfect for our needs

It was nice to have a self contained space, plenty of room.

Could have done with aircon, was a little cold. Maybe fence the area at the back didn’t affect our stay but could be a bit of a concern for small children. Great for family groups.

Everything was fine! Enjoyed our stay.

It was raining so didn't use the pool, but not your fault! haha!

I would like to give a big thanks to Cheviot park and it's staff super friendly and very helpful we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place as a beautiful spot if your looking for affordability and comfort

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and it was excellent - spacious and exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable and was good to have a wee pool for the kids who didn’t seem to mind it being cold!

The units are a quite dated, but with the cleanliness and the price it wasn’t an issue at all.

Really nice room, really helpful staff

One of our go to, close proximity to hospital, spacious rooms, well self contained.

No complaints.

Location

Parking

Nice and easy to book. Have stayed a couple of times before. I have always been happy with the rooms

The room was a little musty when we arrived

The house was nice and had heaps of room

交通及生活便利

Location was great. Beds very comfortable, stayed with grandchildren who had a blast in the pool.

The room was spacious, and seemed bigger than the pictures. The TV seemed quite small and low down for the room. The air conditioner was excellent along with the pool on hot day & after a long trip. Parking was right outside the room. The kitchen was small but for 2 ppl was more than acceptable.

There was some staining on the floor in and near the toilet, looks like dampness from an overflowing shower. Didnt feel wet but looked it. I forgot to mention one of the elements on the stove wasnt working and may need replacing as well.

location was great, it was clean and tidy with outdoor furniture and the pool was a bonus.

Was lovley stay definitely be back

Clean, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen

Not a biggy but Pillows were abit too firm for my liking

3 beds, good size room, kitchen and dining table. Close to hospital, clean, good value, helpful staff.

Clean and comfortable, very friendly staff

Rooms were bright and pleasant. The staff was kind and helpful. We needed a place to stay unexpectedly due to an injury and they accommodated our decreased mobility with grace.

Beds are lower and the heating system was tricky, but these are minor points.

Convenient location

Liked where it was. Staff were helpful and friendly

That we had asked for our unit to be cleaned and because the door to the bedroom was shut they left a notice saying the did rest of unit ie kitchen/bathroom lounge etc but did not go into the room There were five towels in the bottom of the shower so they left 2 for the five of us for the next day had to check with manager to get extras. No tea towel and no dish cloth either when we checked in.

Easy access. Staff helpful

Cake soap

Very clean and quiet

The property was amazing. Have stayed before. Proprietors were very accomodating and great to converse with.

The beds were uncomfortable is the only downside. They probably just needed a mattress comforter to be honest.

Clean, well equipped, handy location

Staff were friendly, and the check-in was quick and easy. Nice clean room, comfy beds, and the spa pool is a great added bonus. Very private. Enjoyed our stay.

Where our room was situated. Very accommodating. Room was clean and the convenience of where the hotel is was perfect.

Shower I'm a short person (Lol) and it the shower head you cannot adjust.

The staff here are amazing, they all smile and look genuinely happy. We were able to keep booking a room as we were there for a family emergency, but weren't sure how long we'd be there. They're very accommodating and did an amazing job helping us in every way they possibly could. The rooms are comfortable and quite spacious and suited us very well with 4 children. Thoroughly enjoyed that there was no lagging with the internet connection.

Great location to training

Very reasonable for a room with a seperate bedroom. I have stayed at this location many times, and it is always good.

Host were awesome and helpful Beds were soft and comfy They gave us extra milk ❤️

everything was tidy and safe

Good location

Old

Clean, tidy & very welcoming. Jan was an exceptional host. Our kids enjoyed the pool & the spa was beautiful. Location was awesome as well - close to the hospital which was our main purpose. Kids enjoyed it & so did we. Will be back again if ever in Whangarei. Good value for money.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cheviot, comfortable beds accomodated for all our travellers and cleaniless of the room was emaculate. A bonus for us that we loved was having an accessible parking right next to our room which made unpacking and packing a breeze and felt our vehicle was in a safe and secluded space.

Nothing not to like, everything exceeded our expectations.

I loved how comfy the rooms were and loved that at last minute we were able to add extra people for a god price. And it was well worth the money. Really enjoyed our night here.

Everything was fine. The only thing was the spa was broken. Which was the only downer for me. But the cost for an extra person made it much better. Lovely tidy roomy area especially for us. Thankyous very much

Amazing
