ASURE Avenue Heights Motel

The main road - noise and ability to get out turning right

Great location and fantastic facilities

A little road noise that we are not used to

Always clean and tidy Well placed on the bypass and reasonably priced

Beautifully clean and very well presented. Super comfy bed with lovely fresh sheets and bedding

Nothing to dislike!

Nice, tidy, modern units with everything you need for a family stay over. We had a big group from Nannys to Babies and booked 3 units. The staff were very helpful and accomodating.

very clean and central, comfy bed, no fuss check in that took less than 30 secs, nice man offered to carry my case up to room for me

Espaço novo e muito limpo. Anfitriões atenciosos, simpáticos e sempre prestativos. Localização perfeita para as minhas necessidades.

Very well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, great aircon and close to where we wanted to be. Great host.

Location was perfect for my needs. They upgraded our room for free and allowed us to check out late when I told them my hospital appointment had been changed to the afternoon

It was modern and well appointed location is great and we stayed for 4 nights each day we went out and come back to an immaculately cleaned room Staff are really friendly and welcoming

I loved it all no complaints

Location excellent, handy to everything in town. Standard of presentation was excellent, very clean and maintained.

The shower let water out and pooled on the floor. A minor detail, just soaked it up with the floor mat.

Comfy laz-y-boy chairs in lounge, comfy bed, very clean room and bathroom.

When we arrived we were told our reservation was for the 16th to 18th, not the 15th to 17th, as per my records. Fortunately the motel had a vacancy and was able to accommodate us, so all in all check in was not very smooth. The unit was exceptionally clean and very well equipped.

The motel is not particularly close to any shops or restaurants.

Very clean and tidy

Nothing

Spacious family room. Clean and tidy.

It would be great to have a mirrow in the twin bedroom .

Well maintained

Motel was excellent.

The weather was no good.

Everything , friendly staff , cleanliness , comfort

Couldn’t fault a thing

The owners were lovely and so kind and helpful. It is a great place to stay - definitely recommend.

Everything was lovely

Exceptionally clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Everything in the room looks brand new.

Location next to the main road so a bit of traffic noise especially noticeable at night.wonder

The bed was so comfortable. The unit was simply the best. Cleanliness was exceptional. Walking distance to the town centre.

Nothing....except we couldn't stay longer, but will definitely be back

So clean and spacious

Hospitality was perfect, bathroom very clean, bed presentation was outstanding, very handy lazy boy , loved it. Kitchen, so handy all facility's Other , than that we look forward to stay again in 2026.. Ooh yes pool area was cool down for sure just right for short women like myself..thanks lol

Confusion. On t.v .. Couldn't get normal channels. Sign in, apps .

Coming from a rural home we could hear road noise but it was ok. Our room was made up after the first night which was really pleasing

So much to love. Our studio room was very spacious. It even had two laziboy chairs. The aircon was quiet and efficient. I also loved the shower - the water fell in torrents. Appreciated the sound proofing too. Did not notice traffic noise at all.

Unit was spacious and having a small kitchen area was great

Have nothing negative to say

This little gem was spotlessly clean. Everything you needed for an overnight stop. Could do laundry and they had powder available which was included.

Nothing

I called letting the front staff know I would be running a little late past check in, and they assured me that their would be someone! Im so thankful they were convenient enough for me not to have to rush getting there. The place was tidy, the people were nice, 10 out of 10

Nothing it was perfect

Very clean very well maintained motel. Have everything you need for a short stay.

Sound isolation doesn't exist but I guess it's normal for motels

Very clean and confortable

Location very close from the main road

Very nice motel, good kitchen facilities. The staff were very friendly.

Clean and tidy, everything you needed and the staff was friendly

The pool wasn't ready

Everything was awesome there. Clean studio, friendly service and great location. Thank you Avenue Heights.

Leaving :)

We had a family member in Whangarei Hospital so it was nice and close to get there. The units are modern and very clean and the bed was comfy. The decor was nice and the owner was friendly. We had seatiing outside our unit so we could sit outside.

Nothing as it ticked all our boxes.

I loved the close proximity to town & the park just down from the hotel , our children also loved having access to the pool facilities which was a huge draw card for us . Our room was lovely and clean the owners were so accommodating and welcoming throughly enjoyed it

The owner was so helpful as our flight was delayed and we arrived late. They stayed waiting for us to arrive. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Its on the main road in but for us this was really convenient. Parking is easy.

Located perfectly for work and walking into town. Staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive to guests needs. I stay here often and my experience is very consistent.

Great spot to stay in Whangarei. Very easy to find. Easy to get into town, and also easy to continue your journey North or South. The unit was super clean, very comfortable and great for our family of 5 adults. The beds were very comfy, and our host was welcoming and very lovely. Would recommend this motel to other travelers.

Rooms were fresh with airport bed was great I just slept!

That it was a bit too cold to swim lol

The hotel was very clean and kept impeccably so across our multi-day stay, and the host and hostess were awesome, nothing was too much trouble. Well provisioned.

All good!

Amazing amenities and great location for getting around. Was just out of the main city centre which I liked.

The location was good for our visit and the room was very clean

There was a little road noise at night

Welcoming owner, very comfy furniture(lazeboys!). Very clean, pool would be nice in summer

Fit for purpose

Couldn’t stay longer

The owner was super friendly and welcoming. Units were clean, warm, and tidy. Good kitchen with everything you need just like you'd have at home!

Probably the cleanest Motel I've ever stayed at.

Clean good value

Easy to get to on State Highway 1 and easy access to the City Centre

Nothing that caused us not to like the stay

The room and bathroom was very clean and spacious. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The beds was great.

We had issues finding the channels for TV. The receptionist tried to help but it was the son (who was out) who knew how to set it. Anyway, I had to figure out how to use the TV by myself. Simple instructions would have been helpful. Also, they could provide a dish rack and sponge for the dishes. There is no dishwasher, so I don't know how they expect guests to wash and dry dishes properly.

Close to the town centre and easy to walk down (approx 15mins each way). Room looks newly renovated, clean as a whistle and very comfortable.

TV channel availability could be increased. Hand soap for the bathroom basin would be appreciated.
