Reviewed Aug 23, 2026I book at hotels/motels often and I'd like to say the customer service at this place is one of the best I've ever experienced and I don't say that lightly. I usually buffer time for check-ins because I know how tedious and long they can get but not the case here! Was done in 2minutes!!! They didn't require a bond which I found super convenient and was why the process was so much faster than the typical check-ins. Lee was amazing she explained politely who she was and where she'll be should I require anything as she handed me a cute glass bottle of cold milk and my room key. We decided to do a little escape for a weekend and this place looked nice and modern with a spa bath so we booked it the night before but the quality service is the reason why I've gone out of my way to write a review. Where you stay sets the tone for a trip and this was the best decision we made. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.
Didn't bother me but parking can be a little tight/cosy outside your room if the motel is fully booked.

Large LED on the tv all night which lite up room. . Also motel is right on state highway 1 so you can hear traffic in lower motel rooms BUT we didnt notice the noise overnight. Just in the morning.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026The 2 bedroom unit was spacious enough for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and absolutely spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was very handy for making breakfast. The heat pump ensured the unit was comfortably warmth.
The unit was very, very minimalist - just 2 recliners, a table and 4 chairs, a small side table and a TV in the lounge. Though immaculately clean and tidy, the space lacked any warmth and was quite sterile. Some soft furnishings and prints on the walls would make the space much more welcoming. A couch would also be useful as only 2 of us could sit on the recliners to watch TV.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Property was super clean, beds were comfortable enough but poorly made, with a flat sheet just draped over the bed so constantly having to remake it. The linen was so starchy that it was almost crunchy - enough to wake up my baby each time I moved in the bed but in general, the rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable, but certainly still quite expensive for what was a very “plain” unit. Road noise is quite significant and worth consideration if you’re a light sleeper.
The hosts were seemingly nice, they allowed a late checkout but were hounding us to leave before the agreed time, then, I had a severe allergic reaction and was having to deal with that and waiting for rescue meds to work, the owner was extremely angry that I had made their cleaner wait, as I explained I was having this medical event where my throat was starting to swell and because I was dealing with that, I was late getting out of the unit - and the response I got (to my saying “look I’m really sorry but my throat was swelling and I was needing to deal with that”) was “that’s not my problem”, so an absolutely awful experience in the end and we literally couldn’t believe the inhuman experience and lack of care or empathy during a really scary situation, where their only concern was that they needed to clean the unit. Would never stay there again and would caution anyone who chooses to stay here.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026The bath was able to get very hot and had decent jets. The facilities were clean and more spacious than I anticipated. Very close to the CBD and the restaurants there. Is against off SH1 so very easy to find and quick to get back on the road.
The air conditioning struggled a bit to get the room to temperature, but did still work and made a difference.

Main reason for mark down: inadequate ventilation. After we all showered, and then thr next morning following this, there was significant condensation. As we were down for a hospital appointment, not the best.

The light switch in the bathroom needs urgent attention. It does not look safe at all! I could see behind the plastic, into the wall! The light switch covering was hanging on by a thread.
