Yes everything was just perfect

The bad thing about this hotel is you don't want yo leave. Simply superb. Breakfast buffet was great. Only negative was pizza at night time was not as good as daytime one.

I had a wonderful experience at the Grand Mercure Hotel. It is in a great area close to everything and the accommodations were great. It was clean, safe, they provide a delicious buffet breakfast and even decorated my room for my birthday without me asking. All around great service. Also check-in was very smooth thanks to Alvin. If staying in Phuket this is a great choice.

The breakfast was good. Staff and customer service was excellent. I requested for a pool access room. Got it for last two days out of seven days but was reached by staff that there is an issue with the pool access room and to ensure my satisfaction they offered free upgrade to a Villa with private pool and it was amazing. The breakfast basket at the pool i requested was simply amazing. Overall, it was a great experience. Check out time is 12:00 which is good and upon request they complimentary extended the checkout time to 2:00 pm. So, a great experience overall.

As returning guests, the wonderful staff, great facilities and amazing food options have made this hotel the only place we will stay in Patong.

I can not recommend this hotel enough. Great location but enough removed from main strip that its quiet. 7 min walk to beach, 10 min walk to night markets and shopping centres. Staff were also amazing. I fell ill and they were great and assisted and catered to my requirements.

Safe, friendly peoperty. Would have liked more certainty about timing of room cleanings - was any time between 11am and 4pm which made it hard to plan when to go back and chill

Definitely include the breakfast if you're going to stay here. The pool is excellent and the staff are very helpful. Its also convenient to have a coffee shop in the hotel. There are lots of bars and restaurants withing walking distance and the beach is also a 5 minute walk.

Not the 5-Star Experience Expected. Despite its rating, the hotel feels dated and more like a 4-star. Rooms and finishes look worn and the facilities felt underwhelming. The breakfast layout is poorly designed, causing congestion and chaos, with some guests behaving rudely toward staff. Positives: good food variety, great location, attentive staff, multiple smoking areas, and pleasant decor. Overall, disappointing for the price and reputation.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Grand Mercure and it didn't disappoint! Comfortable bed, great proximity to Walking street, clean facilities, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast buffet. The only thing that I would recommend for lady travelers is to get a travel light that you can clip on the mirror so you can see to do your makeup as the lighting is very dim (mood lighting only).

Beautiful property and wonderful service

We had a truly wonderful expwrience while staying here. Everything was well thoughtout and the staff made it very welcoming. The only draw back would be is to have your laundry done somewhere else, ro expensive to have to done by the hotel.

We had a pool access room. Room was very small and dark. Smelt damp. Not worth the price we paid

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and were the best part of the stay. Issues with maintenance re railing on pool & shower issues with bursts of hot/ cold. Rooms were clean but minimal shelves to place clothing into and the lighting in the rooms were minimal making it harder to see at night

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful . A very pleasant and comfortable stay. The bathrooms could do with more lighting,but everything else was superb.

We stayed from May 26 to May 30, 2025. When we checked out on May 30, we were asked to wait for 5-10 minutes and staff would checked the room. I guessed that is standard practice of this hotel and I did not have any problem with this. After the staff checked the room, we were told everything is fine. We were good to go. The deposit 3000 Baht will be refunded in 2 weeks. I wrote an email to H8109@accor.com (the only email I would find) on June 21, 2025, no response. I have not received the refund yet.

Hotel was great. Staff is so kind and awesome. Hotel is in walking distance to almost everything. Definitely will come back and stay again

One of the best stays i've had in a long time. Facilities are great, beautiful pools, bars and spots to eat. Bed is very comfortable and area is primo. But the best part is the hotel and restaurant staff. Huge shout out to Sita, Beer, Orn, Earn, Sprite, Brittany and all the other lovely people that work here.

Have stayed at the Grand Mercure the last 6 times . I love the location, the resort style pool and bar and restaurants. Ghe staff are all great and speak good English. Will be back next year.

Stayed at Grand Mercure with friends and family. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was well maintained and clean. Walking distance to shopping, food, beach and nightlife.

This is our 2nd visit this year, rooms are clean, service is very good and the staff are lovely and very friendly. We will return Oct or Nov this year.

Bubbles restaurant was top notch. Seafood was to die for. Staff beyond accommodating and room service was super fast and food always fresh and cooked to order. Very flavorful

Bar in lobby the food a drinks was good. Lady was very sweet in lil coffee shop, down to house keeper everyone was very nice an helpful! They gave me early check in with out no problem! Everything was in walking distance

Enjoyed the freedom of smoking areas.Daily room servicing was excellent. Pool happy hour was great.Facillities were excellent

Excellent hotel, worth the experience

The Grand Mercure exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful and we were very fortunate to have booked one of the 14 available 2 bedroom villas with our own private soaking pool. The villa was a bit pricey in comparison to a regular room but well worth the extra cost. The villas are great for families with older children. Staying in the villas allows you access complimentary tea and snack bar between 11am and 5pm which was fantastic. We ate dinner poolside one night and in the Bubbles restaurant another. Food was good and reasonably priced. Location was also great. Steps away to tons of bars, restaurants and shopping. Located 3 blocks from the beach. I highly recommend this resort if you plan on visiting Patong in Phuket.

Excellent property with very friendly staff and great food quality. Exceptional location close to beach, tons of restaurants, shops....yet fairly quiet since it dies not sit on the busiest street.

That was just great

Family with two teenage boys, we stayed in two bedrooms villa with private pool. The villa was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good variety and fresh, good coffee. We got access to the club lounge, which it was cosy and relaxing and good finger foods.

Staff was very attentive, and pleasant

It was a first class stay. Stay was friendly and accomodating. Hotel was very clean and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning and restocking everything. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

I would absolutely recommend this property for an extended stay. From the start, the whole receiving staff was beyond helpful and so willing to make us comfortable. Massive thanks to Miss Boko at from reception for making our stay extra comfortable and safe. Great facilities and very clean property, housekeeping everyday, many in room amenities and extremely reasonably priced mini bar! Super close to all the night life and markets, tourist info right next door, and a laundry service right at the corner of the street that offers next day service for cheap! Thanks to everyone at Grand Mercure.

Room smelled like mildew and getting towels was a hassle everyday. Bed was hard as a rock. Restaurant staff were very nice. Checked in with no towels and then they brought two. Waited for several hours as they said they would bring the rest like hand towel etc. Had to call to get towels brought to the room each day. Crazy that they do not have enough towels and are waiting on laundry to be done.

Highly recommend hotel , pool access room was fantastic , breakfast was good , staff very friendly and polite . Bacon and pastries were over cooked everyday which was a shame. Definitely would stay there again , very convient .

We liked everything about it At the beginning we were given a room which was very smelly but there was no question asked and they changed us straight away

This was our second time visiting this hotel and requesting a specific room with pool access (cause they are the best there) so..the start was pretty disappointing since they didn’t find our request and offered us a different room since they are “fully booked” we insisted and provided them a proof for our request and than they upgraded us to a suite on 7 floor for one night and moved the night after to the room as requested. Any how we met Sebastian there ( the hotel manager) who changed the total experience for us just by hearing us and even offered a dinner as a compensation..(which was a perfect dinner). So thanks for that and for the kindness of the staff there who really tried and succeeded making our 4 nights there the best holiday we expected to be.

As described, plenty of restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. Hotel staff is very welcoming and pleasant. Loved the rooms with pool access and the floating breakfast was refreshing.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Across from the Otop Markets and walking distance to Jungceylon Shopping Mall and Bangla Road. The hotel also offers a free shuttle that can drop you off at the beach or the shopping mall

Food was amazing. Staff were great. Older facility and it shows. Too many uneven floors that can cause you to trip.

Stayed in a pool access room which was great in the heat. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Spa services fantastic. Close to Patong beach, Bangla road, and otop markets just across the road from hotel. Loved this hotel. Will be back again.

I have stayed in this hotel 5 times now . It is in good central location in Patong . The staff are very good and friendly. Will be back here next year .

Very nice place.

まず鍵が閉まらない問題が発生し直してもらうのに1時間程度要しました。その後、エアコンの不調なのか結露が酷く床が濡れ、ベッドもなんとなく湿っているほどでした。部屋を交換してもらったものの、クレームを入れてから交換まで4時間以上待つ必要があり、またその間も外出することができませんでした。

Great location to Patong Beach, Central Plaza, and Walking street. Very reasonable price point, good food, and friendly staff. Everyone is very accomodating. I would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Phuket. My only recommendation to the hotel is to improve the lighting in the rooms. The lighting is awful.

Grand Mercure is in a great location. Street food right across from the hotel, massage places everywhere, money exchange and walking distance to Bangla Road. Locations to book excursions are also close to hotel. The staff is wonderful and courteous. Everything I requested was bought to the room quickly. The breakfast buffet was good a lot of options. My group also did the seafood buffet one night and we loved it. No regrets.

Great location with lots of local restaurants. 5 minutes walk to Patong beach. Very conveniently located. Staffs are very friendly. Pool area is great. Not too crowded. The only problem is that the humidity makes the floor of your room wet. You might need a dehumidifier.

Stay is good. But room was not spacious. Wash room is small. Not worth the money we paid. the breakfast is so nice and delicious

Place is 10/10 for me from the who are all super generous and go out of the way for you to how clean the place was the food is beautiful can’t fault this place will definitely be staying here again

My stay last year was more enjoyable

Fantastic staff..

The hotel seemed under staffed for the amount of rooms they have. The front desk was difficult to deal with. Breakfast available does not mean included, there was no option to include when we booked so copped a $65 a day breakfast charge. Our room didn’t get cleaned or made up until late on the afternoon, 5-6pm. The pool is tiny compared to what you see in the photos. No late check out is poor given the flight home with Thai Airways isn’t until after midnight, waiting in the lobby for 2.5 hours is a bit of a joke.

Hotel was ok not overly flashy. Bfast needs improvement was not good at all

Rooms were nice and location was good. Fridge didn’t work so they replaced for another one that didn’t work so good spoiled in there and you needed ice for any drinks. Pool was good but not many areas to sit overlooking the pool unless you got a room with pool access Taxi drivers at end of the entrance were annoying and if you did not go with them were making jokes and snide remarks about people which was really off putting. Tv only has local tv and a few international news channels and no movie channels which isn’t great for a 4 star hotel. So you need to bring your own if you are to sit in at all just wanting to chill.

Great stay, right across the street from markets. Perfect location for walking around shops, food, etc. 20 min walk to beach and close to Bangla Rd. Overall great stay.
