I stayed one night at Hotel The Designers Jongno during my trip to Seoul, and it was a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming from check-in, explaining everything clearly and making me feel truly cared for — it really set a positive tone for my stay. The location was perfect for sightseeing — Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, Insadong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Cheonggyecheon Stream were all within walking distance. It was so convenient to explore the area without needing transportation, and there were plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby as well. Parking was available for an additional fee, which was convenient since I had my car. There were also light snacks and simple meals available late at night, which was great when I didn’t feel like going out. When I had trouble ordering delivery, a staff member kindly helped me — I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and excellent service. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom and a shared microwave on each floor for heating food or drinks. I especially liked that the hotel had laundry and drying machines available. Since it rained during my stay, being able to wash and dry my clothes made everything feel so much fresher and more comfortable. ☔💛 Overall, I had an excellent stay. The combination of great location, cleanliness, and warm hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. I’d love to stay here again!

昨年に続き、1年ぶりに「ザ·デザイナーズホテル鍾路」のスタンダードルームに宿泊しました。 前回の滞在がとても快適だったので、また訪れるのを楽しみにしていたのですが、今回はさらにグレードアップした施設にとても感動しました。 特に、リニューアルされたアメニティやロビーの雰囲気がおしゃれで、女性一人でも安心して快適に過ごせる空間になっています。 肌の管理を目的に韓国を訪問しましたが、ホテルの室内環境がとても良くて滞在中に肌の状態がとても安定的でした。 2泊3日の短い滞在でしたが、ホテルの立地も良く、近くにカフェやコスメショップ、エステなどもたくさんあり、美容目的の旅行には本当に最適でした。 職員の方々もとても親切で、日本語ができる職員がいてとても良かったです 今回もすべてに満足し、素敵な思い出とともに帰国しました。 また韓国を訪れる際にはぜひこのホテルを利用したいです。 ありがとうございました！

Я останавливался в отеле Hotel The Designers Jongno во время своей недавней поездки в Сеул, и в целом это был действительно отличный опыт. Расположение оказалось просто идеальным — всего в нескольких минутах ходьбы от станции метро Jongno 3-ga, а также рядом с популярными местами, такими как Инсадон, рынок Кванчжан и ручей Чхонгечхон. Это сделало передвижение по городу очень удобным. Персонал был дружелюбным и отзывчивым от регистрации до выезда, благодаря чему я чувствовал себя желанным гостем и в безопасности на протяжении всего пребывания. Их тёплое отношение действительно сделало пребывание приятным. Номер был уютным и включал всё необходимое для комфортного проживания: мягкую кровать, надёжный Wi-Fi, хорошо работающий кондиционер и плотные шторы, которые позволяли выспаться после насыщенных дней. Я также оценил мелкие приятности, такие как бесплатная бутилированная вода и зарядные порты в номере — это было очень удобно для путешественника, как я. В целом, отель предлагает отличное соотношение цены и качества — чисто, безопасно и в отличном месте, без лишних затрат. Если вы планируете поездку в Сеул и ищете практичное, без излишеств место в самом центре города — я определённо рекомендую этот отель. Обязательно забронирую его снова в следующий раз!

I visited Seoul this time and chose the The Designers hotel in Jungno, and my overall experience was very satisfying! The hotel's location is very convenient, right near the metro station, with easy access to Jingfu Palace, Insadong, and Myeongdong, making transportation incredibly convenient. Although the room isn't particularly large, it exudes a strong sense of design, is clean and tidy, and the bed is also very comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure, and bathing is very comfortable. The room offers coffee, tea, and mineral water, with thoughtful details. The front desk staff are very friendly, knowing both simple Chinese and English, communicating without any issues, and they even proactively helped me check the subway lines. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to go out and eat in the evening. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, has a fashionable design, and is well-located. I would definitely choose it again when I visit Seoul next time! I highly recommend this to friends visiting Korea for the first time.

I fl in from Australia all excited for my Seoul adventure… and immediately got greeted by a monsoon. By the time I dragged myself into The Designers Hotel, I looked less like a traveler and more like a wet mop with luggage. But here’s where the story gets better: the front desk staff (who, by the way, are always there 24/7 like superheroes in suits) upgraded me for free to a room with two beds. Did I need two beds? Absolutely not. Did I love it? Of course. One for me, one for my soggy backpack. We both slept well. Then I discovered the laundry room, and wow. Not the sad, coin-operated kind you see in dodgy hostels, but a sleek, modern setup that made me want to do laundry even when my clothes were already clean. After a few spins in that machine, I smelled less like “rainstorm survivor” and more like “functional human again.” The hotel itself is like a convenience store and a cozy home rolled into one. There’s a parking lot (for the smart people who didn’t arrive on foot in the rain), and a magical little corner that sells snacks, drinks, booze, and ramen. Dangerous combination, because suddenly it’s 2 a.m. and you’re holding a beer in one hand and slurping noodles with the other, wondering how life got so good. Overall, The Designers Hotel might not have chandeliers and butlers, but it has something better: comfort, practicality, and staff who actually seem to care whether you’re having a good time. The rooms are all unique and quite special. We had a couple of small issues with the bathtub but the staff were very helpful, we were even offered a different room but chose to stay when their other sollutions worked. The hotel is extremely central to both Myeongdong, Jongno Shrine, and many other places. A good place to stay in Seoul. Bed was quite firm but we got used to it.

The location is very convenient but we were not happy with cleanliness or condition of the room. Would not stay here again.

Limpieza todos los días si asi lo requieres y lo mejor de todo es la ubicación, esta en una zona bastante tranquila como para descansar pero en el centro y muy bien conectada a metro y estaciones de autobús. Caminando a 10 minutos esta myeongdong y el barrio de Eulji-ro con buenos restaurantes y tiendas. Muy recomendable, nuestra estadía fue muy buena

12/31에 10만원 중반대에 중심가에서 숙소를 잡을 수 있었다는 점이 좋았습니다. 숙소 바로 앞에 한방 전기구이 통닭을 파는데 저렴하고 맛있어요. 숙소는 4명이서 앉아서 먹고 수다 떨 수 있는 테이블이 필요했는데 딱 적당했습니다. 전체적으로 깨끗했어요. 다만 중심가라서인지 주차비를 1일 2만원 받는다고 하는데 예약할 땐 안내가 없어서 조금 당황했네요.

청결상태는 별로였지만 주변에 먹거리와 교통 편의성은 매우좋습니다

We liked our room. The location for us was also good since we are accustomed to take long walks. My wife said it could have been a little bit cleaner but i think she is exaggerating

대실가능한 호텔인거 알았으면 숙박 안잡았을건데.. 수건에서 너무 냄새났고 얼룩도 너무 많아서 사용하기 힘들었어요 화장실이 유리문으로 되어있을 줄은 몰랐어요.. 침대 옆에 욕조가 있을 줄도 몰랐네요.. 그래서 자는 내내 물냄새가 나서 힘들었어요.. 그냥 난 진짜 잠만잘래. 하시는 분들은 가셔도 좋습니다....

출장차 서울에 갔다가 4박 머물렀는데요. 중간중간 시간날때마다 숙소 밖, 맛집 등 돌아다니기에도 호텔 위치가 좋았어요^ ^ 호텔 방도 깨끗하고 쾌적했구요. 방에 고데가가 있어서_ 사용하기도 너무 좋더라구요👍 데스크에 계셨던 직원분들도 친절하시구요. 1층 로비 옆쪽으로는 스낵바도 있어서, 굳이 바깥 편의점 이용하지 않아도 편하게 구입할수 있어 또한번 좋더라구요. 만족스러운 숙박였습니다. 재예약 의사는 100% 입니다.

위치는 정말 좋아요. 직원들 즉각응대도 좋구요. 근데 호텔은 아쉬웠습니다. 저렴하고 딱딱한 매트리스에 과연 청소가 된가 싶은 상태, 환기도 너무 힘들고 도착하자마자 레노베이션하는지 가구들 다 길에 나와있어 첫인상이 정신없었어요. 첫날은 정말 피곤함에도 한시간도 제대로 못자고, 둘째날 겨우 적응하고 좀 자고 나왔네요. 그냥 위치보고 가실분들 가세요.

Budget friendly hotel, the aesthetic of the hotel and rooms are very nice. We booked Suite and figured to have spa bath in the middle of the room but we were unfortunate to get one of the only suites without and it was also really not our style. (The green suite with pictures and frames all over the walls) fortunately the hotel accomodated us really nicely morning after and let us change to another suite that was almost top floor. All in all a good stay and for the price we paid you do get alot. Just keep in mind that the reality is a bit different from advertised pictures.

숙소가 좀 어둡고 좁아서 환기가 안되는 느낌이었어요. 공기청정기가 있어서 그나마 다행이었고 침구는 좋았어요.

The place is dirty, there is mold in the bathroom and some areas in bedroom. Found hair in couple areas, the shower is leaking. I could not wait for the next day to come so I can leave.

Wir hatten einen drei-viertägigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, das Bett ist steinhart, die Hygiene definitiv nicht ausreichend und die Ausstattung mittlerweile sehr veraltet. Das Hotel muss definitiv renoviert werden und an der Hygiene muss man noch arbeiten. Die Lage ist das einzige Positive im Hotel. Flecken auf Handtüchern und auf der Bettwäsche eine grobe Sauberkeit und bisher unsere schlechteste Unterkunft. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.

飯店的地點蠻好的，去明洞、廣藏市場、景福宮步行都可以抵達。 飯店一樓櫃檯有免費的罐裝水跟咖啡可以取用，也有付費的飲料跟泡麵可以購買。 唯獨房間內的整潔度不是很好，浴室洗手台水龍頭有壞掉的狀況

깨끗하고 조용해서 좋았어요. 다만 에어컨 사용이나 조명이 너무 어두운게 조금 불편했지만 화장대 부분에 부분조명을 달아주시면 어떨까하는 생각이 드네요.

교통편 아주 좋고 청결합니다.

Anything unique. The hotel ssrvice is works like a staff-less automaic system except for when check-in.

地下鉄の駅も近く、人気のスポットに行くのに便利な場所でした。 ホテル近辺にも、人気のカフェや食事ができるところがあり、次行く時も滞在したい場所でした。

The location was central and great. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and but especially during the night there were bad smells coming from the bathroom drains. There is no mirror in the room, there is no service light at the bathroom mirror, the TV was malfunctioning, lack of proper hangers, and during my stay for a few days there was no Wi-Fi in the room. The value for money is too high. I do not recommend this hotel

Check in和 check out 都快，接待counter 的職員算有禮貌。但房間內的空間不算大，最大問題是浴室沒有掛鈎，也沒有桌子放置潄口用品，十分不便。室內温度原來是要用電視遙控去調節，第一晚不知道，整晚室温都是34.7度，第二日查詢才知道。 好處是位置算不錯，地鐵和機場巴士都在附近。但這個價位，有不少選擇，下次未必會再入住。

From the photos, you get to see how nice the rooms are etc. Each room have different concept etc. ONLY if you pay for the most expensive rooms available. Which we did not know there is a difference in room concept. We paid for a normal queen size and room. And the room is nothing from the photos as advertised. However to be fair, the room is fairly big enough to put luggage and walk around. The toilet and bath tub is big enough to roam around. That was the only thing that is positive from my experience. The bed is another let down. I know the material under the bed sheet is suppose to prevent any stain for the mattress. But it is damn noisy as it sounds like plastic. Not comfortable to sleep on. As for room service, nothing much was done. Bed sheets tugged in, no change in blanket nor bed sheets or pillow case. It was only after a few days later the room service changed the blanket and bed sheets. Another encounter was after the first night we did not want the room service. But however despite putting the sign "Do Not Disturb" they still clean the room when we are not around. We had some valuables lying on the table etc. But lucky nothing went missing. From then on we just ask for room service everyday and keep our valuables. In all, it is a average experience. Not so recommendable. Only stay if you are a Korea expert and know your way to nearby places and trains and you are fine with subpar hotel standards.

스위트로 예약해서 괜찮을 줄 알았는데 디자인이 별로인 오렌지색 방 배정. 환기 때문인지 창문을 열어 놓았기에 모기들에 타겟이 됨. 나중에 알고 문 닫고 두마리 잡았어도 네 방 물림. 위치는 괜찮으나 바로 앞건물 창문들로 사생활 보임.

I liked choosing the room upon checkin since they are all styled very different. Room looked great although upclose some more maintenance could be done. Nevertheless really enjoyed our stay, the location is great. Walking distance to several lively areas!

Cleanliness could be improved & staff are not helpful nor knowledgable at all. Most bearly speak any english so will not be easy communicating unless you can converse in korean

住宿地點方便，有巴士站在附近 酒店有不同設計的房間，入住最便宜的那一款，衛生程度一般，但是都是早出晚歸沒有太大影響

가성비 측면에서는 매우 만족하며, 호텔 인근에 음식점들도 많고 맞과 가성비도 좋은점이 또다른 장점입니다.

ホテルに着いて、一番初めに紹介された部屋は写真とは全く違う部屋に案内されたので、あまりにも違いすぎてホテルのフロントで話をしました。そして、次に対応してくれた部屋が扉を強く閉めないと閉まらない部屋に案内され、お手洗いの扉も壊れている部屋に案内されました。そして、その事を伝えたら扉を強く閉めるのが普通だって言われてなかなか対応してもらえず、もう一度話をしてやっと部屋を変更してくれました。(2回)フロントの方は挨拶もしてくれないですし、今までこんなホテルに泊まったことは初めてです。立地は凄く便利なだけに残念です。絶対にオススメしないホテルです。女性の職員は毎朝会っても挨拶はなく、喫煙所に座っていると何も言わずに足をあげて欲しいと、水をかけられることが何度もありました。 職員の方の中で、1番年下の人がとても良く対応してくれたことが一番良かったですが、他の方は本当に残念です。何十回も韓国に行っているのに本当に残念な対応は初めてです。

컨셉은 좋으나 방에 전날 사용한 사람이 먹다버린 맥주잔도 버려져있었고.. 어메니티로 사용한 샤워용품도 그닥 좋은 퀄은 아니었음..

로비 카운터 직원이 매우 불친절했습니다. 말투가 공격적이고, 기분이 상당히 나빴습니다.

진입로가 불편한것 말고는 전체적으로 다 좋았습니다

뽁뽁이 붙어있는 호텔은 처음 이용해봐요. 화장실 문짝도 너무 노후하고 페인트 다 벗겨져 있고 방은 춥고 호텔이라 하기엔 너무 하네요.

구석구석 녹슴 금감 담배냄사 먼지 더러움 .. 신경좀 써주세요ㅠㅠ 이돈이면 모텔을 가겠어요

All the rooms are fairly unique. What an incredible location by Cheonggyecheon Stream and to so many other sites which we wanted to visit. We enjoyed walking and biking around the area. As much as we liked all those features, the staff were the best assets because they were so helpful and accommodating. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

其實服務是相當好！只是住過東大門分館，覺得相較之下東大門館空間較大。這次較不滿意主要是浴室，手持的shower應該架高一點。另外，馬桶底層應該清潔乾淨點，每次掀開馬桶看到那污漬，覺得反胃。另外，浴室也沒有可以掛物的架子，自己帶去的毛巾使用後沒地方可掛，掛到房間又一直滴水，要放條布再下面。房間其他打掃都很乾淨

室内はデザイン性が高いですが好みは分かれます。 またデザイン性が高い分、使い勝手は少し悪い気がします。

인사동과 가깝고 주변에 지하철역, 버스정류장이 있어서 서울여행하기 좋은 위치였습니다. 객실이 너무 어두웠지만 객실은 호텔 홈페이지로 접속하면 미리 선택할 수 있으니 원하시는 선호사항대로 선택하면 될 듯합니다.

先說好的，飯店職員相當友善，非常落力與客人溝通及協助人客解決問題，為整個住宿體驗挽回不少分數。 地點亦不錯，晚上雖然附近不少營業至深夜的店，但相當寧靜。距離地下鐵路站不過5分鐘腳程，交通方便，有二十四小時營業的店舖。 然後說不好的。房間的保養不似預期，洗手間的燈光需要維修，會中途燈泡過熱自動熄滅。熱水器溫度亦不穩定。 另外房間的插頭位置不友善之餘（床頭電話和路由器已用盡床頭兩個電力插頭，另外兩個在房間角落），而且可供客人使用的插頭有一個是壞的。另一個可以用的插頭，雖然有電力供應，但需要另外是固定插頭才可以獲得穩定電力。 還有一個插頭在洗手盆附近，一般飯店在洗手間都會特別提供100-240V的插頭供電鬚刨和吹風機使用，但這裏仍然維持普通歐式兩腳插頭，一間新裝修的酒店來說有點考慮不足。 雖然酒店提供電熱水煲，但以酒店本身房間的插頭配置，其實不知道應該從哪裏取電。 完。

욕조방은 굉장히 습하더군요...나머지는 대체로 만족했습니다...그리고 가족끼리 왔는데 주변에 볼거리가 너무 빈약해서 아이가 별로 지루해 하더라고요.....앞으로 아이가 더 크기 전까지는 해당 지역여행은 반복될거 같지는 않습니다.

The room I stayed in was really pretty. It had a tree in the room and was very spacious. The staff were also very nice and overall the hotel and the room was very clean. However, it was not a very practical room to stay in. There were no places to hang my hand towel or bath towel or clothes in the bathroom. There was no full length mirror or space in front if the mirror. The lighting was also very dim. The entrance to the hotel is also in a very strange and difficult to find alley that does not feel very safe. Only 1 hanger was provided as well. I had a good experience, but I doubt I would go back unless they improve the facilities in the room.

Rooms are interesting but the best thing was the size — large and large bathroom. Service didn't make up the room when we left sign out but otherwise OK, nothing more.

Attractions and Myeong-dong is very close, and within walking distance. And, I like the hotel shower and bathtub. 以前は日本語が通じましたが、今は日本語通じません。

Whilst the staff tried to be helpful and were very polite they didn't actually do what we asked. The room was far too hot even with the aircon on because the underfloor heating was I high. Each day we asked for it to be turned down or off but nothing was done. The hot water ran out during the shower and although the room had remote to work everything including the lights it didn't work ! So would not visit again.

Strikes as a converted love hotel. Worst of all, the mattress type seems to be the same as in its old use. No (apparent) way to regulate temperature (thermometer showed 33C on arrival) - floor heating. Nice staff though. Bathtub only, short shower hose. Close to a major road, but hidden in an entertainment district.

good location n spacious room. but the room was quite dusty and the design of the bathroom was stupid... the whole bathroom gets wet after ur shower. not enough sockets. i had to put the kettle on the floor to boil water as the only socket was under the desk... lighting is also too dark... girls simply cant do makeup well... sigh some hotel staff english was too bad, couldnt even understand "ferry pier".......

Hotel The Designers was what I expected from the name - Great in concept and to look at but not very practical for a longer stay for the standard room we chose. There was very little space for luggage, and the bathroom was interesting in that there was nothing stopping water from going all over the floor in the bathroom while having a shower, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes and the toilet roll got wet while showering. The room was also very poorly lit with a few weak down lights and nothing bedside. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help answer some of our queries, and the decor was clean and new. The hotel is not that easy to find, seemingly down a small alley off another alley, so look out for the lit-up name on the side of the building. The hotel is great for a short stay, but not recommended for a longer stay with luggage.

First Two Day stay in room A905. The room design is not good. Coz the bathtub is just beside the bed. How can I use it? Last Two stay in room B1005. The room design become better. The bathtub back to the washroom and I finally can enjoy it! But unfortunately, I think the person who tidy the room forgot to close the refrigerator door. So when I weak up the next day morning. I find out a lot of water on the floor and make all my belongings get wet, including my camera bag........... >.< I use lots of time to dry my bag.......... Hope the next time, the staff can pay attention for the room facilities.

Though it may take a little time to find this hotel as it's tucked away amid various restaurants and shops, it does give a sense of welcome when you step through its doors. The staff are friendly and readily helped when there's a problem. Be it connecting to the wifi, asking for directions or simply just to open a beer bottle, they have a positive attitude. He design of the lobby is almost out of the set- simply spectacular. I booked a superior double room, despite being a tat bit small, its industrial style design does appeal to me. I suppose the suites would be even more spectacular with its themed design. Overall a great experience staying at Hotel the Designer Jongno, I'll also consider staying there again in future!

Stayed 4 nights, switched rooms after 2 nights because the first room was too small for 2 people. Friendly hot"else staff, even had complementary umbrellas for us to use. Hotel is in a good location, but it is a bit difficult to find, because it is located in a back alley, and cannot be seen from the main streets. However, they have cards for the taxi drivers and it worked fine for us. Hotel has great access to Insadong shopping areas, subway and Seoul station. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well. The rooms are creative, although a bit small. For a single traveler, it would be comfortable. Rooms could use some more functional features, like hooks for towels, shelves to place toiletries and personal items. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay again.

The hotel location is great, which is close to nearby bus stop and subway station. However the size of the room is pretty small.

Found out the 2nd day that Expedia did not include 2nd or 3rd night stay on travel vacation package. I received one night and Randy did not .

The longest I would stay there is one night maybe two.... very clean but not what I wanted

The hygiene of the room is terribly bad. We found some hairs and dirt on the bathroom and cushion respectively. The light at the corridor was going on and off all the time. The device were not workable.

The rooms are beautiful and cosy... especially the bed with its linen. What is missing though is storage space and I had to live out of my luggage for the whole of my stay.
