What really stood out was the excellent service throughout our stay. Every member of the team was warm, professional, and eager to help whenever we had a question. Tan was especially welcoming and made us feel right at home. Combined with the fantastic breakfast and attentive service, it was an experience that exceeded our expectations.
The rooms aren't particularly large, but they are thoughtfully designed, clean, and very comfortable. Since we spent most of our time exploring the city, the room had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. Even though the hotel is close to the city center, outside noise was never an issue. It struck a great balance between convenience and comfort.
Looking back on our trip, what we will remember most is not just the hotel itself, but the wonderful people who worked there. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Their smiles, professionalism, and thoughtful service created an atmosphere where we felt completely comfortable from the moment we arrived. They made us feel less like tourists and more like welcomed guests. Those sincere human connections are wht made our time in Hanoi truly unforgettable.
We spent most of our days walking around the Old Quarter, trying local street food, visiting cafés, and exploring nearby attractions. Being able to return to the hotel within minutes whenever we needed a break was incredibly convenient. The location truly helped us enjoy the city at our own pace.
This is not an overly luxurious hotel, but it offers something more important: genuine care for guests. The reception staff were always welcoming and helpful whenever we had questions about transportation or places to visit. The team made us feel comfortable throughout the entire stay, and that personal touch created a much more authentic travel experience than staying in a large international chain hotel.
To be honest, the room window facing the hallway was not ideal, and the bathroom setup could be improved. However, despite these small inconveniences, the overall experience remained positive because the hotel’s excellent location and the friendliness of the staff truly compensated for it. Sometimes hospitality matters more than perfect facilities.
Housekeeping did a great job every day, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. Although the room was slightly smaller than expected, it still had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and after busy days exploring Hanoi, it was exactly the kind of place where we could relax and recharge.
Property was clean. Friendly staff. Quiet.
Reasonable location but a bit far from the Old Quarter in the heat. Shower was in a high bathtub.
As tourists visiting Hanoi for the first time, we found this hotel perfectly located. We could easily walk to many famous places, restaurants, cafés, and local markets without needing transportation most of the time. It allowed us to experience the energy of the city while still having a quiet and comfortable place to return to at night. The soundproof windows were surprisingly effective, which made sleeping very peaceful despite being in a busy area.
Breakfast every morning was a very pleasant experience. Tan, Bach, Quyet, Dat, and Trang were always attentive, quick to help, and served guests with genuine warmth. They remembered small details and always checked if everything was okay. Their positive attitude in the morning really made a difference and started our days in a good mood. The food itself was tasty and offered enough variety for both local and international travelers.
One thing that really stood out during our stay was the kindness of the hotel staff. Ms. Chi, Trang, Mr. Binh, and Mr. Dang were always polite, smiling, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality felt genuine and warm, not forced like in some larger hotels. They always made sure we were comfortable and happy, which created a very positive atmosphere throughout our stay.
We stayed here for a few days while exploring Hanoi, and honestly, the location could not have been better. Most of the main attractions were within walking distance, which made everything so convenient. The hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we checked in. After long days walking through the busy streets of Hanoi, it was always nice to come back to a calm and comfortable place to rest.
The location was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff were exceptional. Although the rooms feel a little dated, likely due to the hotel's long history, they were clean, comfortable, and well cared for. A special thank you to Chi and Tan, who made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Their hospitality was outstanding and truly made a difference. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Vietnam.
Of course, the hotel itself is beautiful — modern rooms, comfortable facilities, excellent food, and a fantastic location — but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the emotional connection we felt during our time there. Traveling can sometimes feel exhausting, especially in a new country, but the kindness and hospitality we experienced here made everything easier and more enjoyable
This hotel left a very positive impression on us mainly because of the staff. Their kindness and attention to detail made the experience feel authentic rather than just professional. Simple gestures, like remembering our breakfast preferences or asking about our plans for the day, made a big difference. Tan was outstanding throughout breakfast service — friendly, attentive, and consistently professional. The rooms are a little old-fashioned, but they were still clean and functional. For us, that was a very small issue compared to the level of care and hospitality we received during our stay. The overall experience was still excellent.
This trip to Vietnam was already exciting, but staying here made it even more special. After busy days visiting attractions and walking around the city, the hotel became the perfect place to recharge. The quiet rooms, comfortable beds, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere created a sense of calm that made it easy to fully enjoy the holidday.
I’ve stayed in many hotels while traveling, but this place stands out because of the people. The staff here don’t just do their jobs; they create an experience. Everyone was consistently friendly, patient, and willing to help with anything we needed. Even small interactions, like asking for directions or recommendations, were handled with genuine enthusiasm. You can tell the team takes pride in making guests happy, and that positive atmosphere could be felt throughout the entire hotel.
We had dinner at the hotel several times, and every meal felt relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere was elegant but still very comfortable. Chi, in particular, made every evening memorable with her professionalism and attention to detail. She always checked that everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely cared for. It didn’t feel like standard hotel service — it felt personal and thoughtful, which made a huge difference.
One thing I really appreciated was how helpful the hotel staff were when it came to exploring the area. Instead of simply giving generic tourist advice, they took the time to explain local places, recommend restaurants, and even showed us the easiest ways to get around. They gave us a map and marked places worth visiting, including hidden spots we probably never would have discovered on our own. Thanks to their recommendations, we experienced a more authentic side of Vietnam that made our trip unforgettable.
I honestly didn’t expect breakfast to become one of the highlights of our trip, but it absolutely did. Every morning there was a wide variety of fresh food, from local Vietnamese dishes to international options. Everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared. What stood out the most, though, was the incredible hospitality from Chi and Tan. They were always attentive without being intrusive, and they made every guest feel important. Their positive energy in the morning genuinely started our day in the best possible way.
After spending long days exploring the city, coming back to this hotel felt like coming home. The room was spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft, and the atmosphere was relaxing after the busy streets outside. One of my favorite moments was sitting by the window in the evening, enjoying the city view and simply appreciating how peaceful everything felt. The hotel managed to feel luxurious without being overwhelming, which made our holiday even more enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed by the staff. Traveling to Vietnam for the first time, we were a little nervous, but the team made everything easy and comfortable for us. The hotel itself was beautiful, modern, and very clean, but what truly made the experience special was the genuine kindness of the people working there. Every morning at breakfast, Chi and Tan greeted us with warm smiles and remembered our preferences, which made us feel less like tourists and more like valued guests. It’s rare to find service that feels so natural and sincere.
Great location, welcoming staff
An exceptional hotel. Everything is done to ensure a comfortable stay. The welcome drink and fresh fruit delivered to our room was an unexpected touch. The room was large and comfortable. The staff friendly and professional.
The bathroom fittings did not match the rest of the room and were a little below expectations.
The room was cramped and had an unpleasant odor. The hotel did not provide basic toiletries, and when I requested them, they informed me that it was a rule of the tourism ministry that they were not permitted to provide them. However, I received toiletries in all other hotel stays during my trip to Vietnam. They charge exorbitant fees for late checkouts, whereas almost every other hotel offers free late checkouts.
Location
Excelente trato del personal siempre atentos hasta el último minuto. Las habitaciones super confortables y la ubicación cerca a las atracciones principales de Hanoi.
Cuidado con el ascensor que se cierra rápido.
Was clean and comfortable Breakfasts were excellent
Quite a few steps up to reception so no disabled ramp if you needed it
Gute Lage
Excellent brunch. Personnel sympathique.
C’est mieux de réserver à travers un parti tiers (Agoda, Booking). Ma réservation à travers le site Web de l’hôtel avait été automatiquement annulée.
Staff members were excellent, friendly, and very caring. Highly recommended this place. Thank you for your hospitality and service. Much appreciated. 10/10
Was not disappointed, they were great. 10/10 I rate. Thank you for your service. Very much appreciated.
Busy street but dining options available and breakfast was fantastic
Comfortable hotel
It would have been great to have some sort of pool/outside bar terrace, which would have instantly elevated the property 100%
There was a dispute with the front desk manager about a water bottle. He insisted i pay $3 because i used the wrong bottle in the room.
The Breakfast selection and staff were superb!
Good, basic hotel, but a bit aged. Very friendly staff.
Hotelbas very clean and a goodvlocation to where we were meeting our tour group.
Great customer service and buffet breakfast.
Friendly staff, lovely room with courtyard (703). Nice breakfast.
Walkable to all attractions
Was ok
Dirty
Staff is really good even with limited english
Old, even the carpet smells.
wonderful staff
noisy water pipes that kept you awake all night.. horrid noise
Central, clean, nice breakfast
The staff and the bedroom with AC. 24h open supermarket, downstairs.
There was construction on the last night, next to the hotel. I would never expect noise at 1h in the morning… Is not the hotel’s fault, but should be more rules to avoid these things.
Lovely staff, large room, very clean
A very affordable, modest property with excellent value. Perfect location. They offer luggage storage if you are doing side trips. Helpful staff. My small room was was priced accordingly and perfect for one. Had a view of the city. Highly recommend.
Quality of some breakfast products like breads and coffee. These could improve. There was a wide selection of items that would cover most people, however.
Nice staff. Clean.
My room had no window. I didn’t mind but some might. This feature needs to be posted.
The property was lovely and the staff were very nice and accommodating.
The music at breakfast was too loud!
Nice clean room. Good selection at breakfast for the money. Only a 1 night business stay but you could you it as your base to explore Hanoi.
The breakfast was very good
I used 2 filters; bath and balcony and found this place, however on arrival I soon discovered that there are no rooms with a bath and a balcony. You can have either a bath OR a balcony! Weird I know, and the room photos would make you believe a room exists with both a bath and a balcony.
everything was great.
near the restaurans
clean
didn’t care for room on first night- window to a hallway. the hotel was full so Jo change was possible. the second day, however, they upgraded me to a lovely room on the 10th floor with a balcony overlooking Hanoi. plus, for a very small fee they allowed a late checkout. the staff was very kind and helpful throughout my stay.
nothing.
Everything belongs to the hotel is perfect
