El personal es muy amable. En cuanto al desayuno puedes pedir varios platos que te hacen en el momento. La ubicación en el casco viejo es ideal.

El sistema de climatización está algo desfasado. En cuanto al precio es relativamente más caro que otras estancias en las que hemos estado en el país.

Стаята беше без прозорец. Климатиците бяха настроени автоматично. Първата вечер се изключи и се наложи са помоля да го включат. Втората вечер ни нямаше. На третата вечер беше настроен на висока температура и не спахме цяла нощ , беше изключително топло. Отново казахме и на последната вечер спахме нормално

Our stay at the Golden Rooster Hotel was great! The location is perfect, very central and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants, yet far enough away from the downtown noise to enjoy a peaceful stay. The staff was very kind, helpful, and professional. They also stored our luggage for the day while we went sightseeing, which was extremely convenient. Our room was perfect. They offered us an upgrade for only a decent additional amount, and it was completely worth it. We had a lovely balcony and two large, comfortable beds. The shower was spacious and worked perfectly, the air conditioning worked very well, and everything was clean and well maintained. We had a great experience and would happily recommend the Golden Rooster Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi

Le personnel était disponible et agréable. On était un peu à l'étroit dans une des chambres mais climatisation fonctionnelle. L'autre chambre avec accès au grand balcon pour une vue dégagée sur le "old town" est super sympa. Les lits étaient confortables.

Nos dieron la buhardilla con acceso de última planta prácticamente agachados desde la sexta a la séptima planta. Habitaciones comunicadas pero con luz permanente en el pasillo. Baño muy justo de tamaño. Si se reserva, que no os den la buhardilla.

A great hotel in a great location. Everything we wanted to do and see in the Old Quarter was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, letting us keep our luggage there before check-in and shower after check-out before we set off for our sleeper train. Clean comfortable rooms with good air-con.

Only a one night stay but a lovely hotel. Lovely frontage and reception with an extremely warm welcome on arrival from Sandy, welcome drinks and some info of the city. Beds were extremely comfortable, great nights sleep. Lovey breakfast area and the widest range of breakfast choices in the whole of our 3 wk stay in Vietnam. All the staff were so helpful! Would definitely recommend!

The staff was very friendly. With check-in they gave us tips for restaurants, tourist attractions etc. in the city. We got the tips on paper including a map of the city. We found this very kind and hospitable. Also, on our last day we had a late flight home and we could come back after check-out for a complimentary shower. Which really does not go underappreciated after a hot day of walking around! This was the 3rd placed we stayed in Hanoi during our Vietnam trip, and this one was by far our favorite!

It is not totally soundproof, and as our room was above the kitchen you could wake up a little more early than planned.

Ci hanno tenuto parte dei bagagli due giorni in modo che non ce li dovessimo portare in escursione, ci hanno preparato la colazione prima dell’orario perché avevamo il pullman molto presto e ci hanno fatto un upgrade in una camera di livello superiore.

We had a very pleasant stay at Golden Rooster Hotel! The location was great and convenient for exploring the Old Quarter, and the breakfast had a lot of options, so we really enjoyed it. A special thank you to Vivienne at the front desk for her kindness and excellent service. She surprised us with a free room upgrade, which we absolutely did not expect and really appreciated! It made our stay even more special. Thank you, Vivienne, and the whole team at Golden Rooster Hotel for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would be happy to stay here again! 😊

We were lucky enough to get an early checkin which was very nice. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The AC is also very good which is a big bonus. We booked a 4 day Ha Giang loop tour through the hotel at a better rate than we found online. The free breakfast was also really nice.

Το δωμάτιο δεν είχε καθόλου ηχομόνωση και ακούγαμε όποιον περνούσε απ' έξω. Ακόμη ήμασταν στον πρώτο όροφο όπου ακούγαμε τις προετοιμασίες του προσωπικού από τις 5μιση το πρωί.

Staff was great and helpful, speak english too! The hotel even gave us an itinerary, tips and tricks guide and a map with marked landmarks for tourists travelling around the area, super useful guide. Cheap and affordable pricing, breakfast included what a bang for buck.

From the moment I arrived at the Golden Rooster Hotel, I felt warmly welcomed. The property itself is charming, perfectly located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, making it easy to explore the city’s vibrant streets, markets, and cultural landmarks. The rooms are spotless, tastefully decorated, and surprisingly quiet given the lively neighborhood outside. Breakfast was delicious, with both local specialties and international options to start the day right.   What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptional service. Linda and Vivienne went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Linda’s attention to detail and genuine care ensured every request was met with a smile, while Vivienne’s thoughtful recommendations for local dining and sightseeing made my Hanoi experience unforgettable. Their warmth and professionalism embody the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality.   I cannot recommend the Golden Rooster Hotel highly enough. And would return very soon.

La habitación es muy cómoda, las camas amplias y tienen muchas almohadas. El hotel también está muy limpio y sin bichos indeseados (como en la mayoría de hoteles de Vietnam). El desayuno también es variado y rico. Muy contentos con la atención de Vivian, en general todo el personal ha sido muy amable. Muy recomendable.

Hotel in ottima posizione all'interno del old quarter. La camera era spaziosa e abbastanza pulita, non recente. Ci hanno dato la possibilità di organizzare il transfer privato per Ninh Binh.

La struttura chiede esplicitamente di mettere, davanti a loro (cosa peraltro non possibile su booking) un punteggio alto equivalente a 10: la trovo una cosa estremamente scorretta e poco professionale, le recensioni si guadagnano, non si chiedono. La struttura non è così bella come appare dalle immagini di booking. La colazione è assolutamente da migliorare (poca scelta, qualità mediocre). L'aria condizionata nella nostra camera funzionava "a singhiozzo" (abbiamo scoperto troppo tardi che non rispettava i gradi che venivano impostati e una notte ci siamo svegliati completamente accaldati e sudati).

Super friendly staff, the driver that picked us up from the airport was a super safe driver which was a great first experience in Vietnam traffic. Rose was super nice and did the introduction for checking in and even carried my bag for me. Vivienne helped us check in as well, bringing us tea and cold towels, she was there for breakfast and our check out. It was nice to have such a friendly staff member at all points of our stay. We also shared some laughs with her, Thank you Vivienne!! It was a pleasure meeting you :)
