It looked like a nice boutique hotel.

The AC didnt work. Spent 2 sleepless nights. When i first complained about it they tried to brush it aside saying oh, just shut the AC for 15-20mins and it will be fine. I had to make a bigger deal about it next morning for them to take action. Stayed for 3 nights, slept peacefully only for one. Its an ageing property, i wouldn't recommend it unless they renovate thoroughly.

I had an excellent stay at Aruja Hotel and can highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly by the staff. After checking in, I was pleasantly offered a different room, which turned out to be spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and I slept very well throughout my stay. What impressed me most was the outstanding hospitality of the entire team. Every single employee was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The reception staff assisted me with everything I needed, including helping me find an ATM. My luggage was brought to my room, and the security staff at the entrance were always welcoming, opening doors and helping with my bags whenever needed. The breakfast and buffet exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, the selection was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The location is also fantastic. Sundar Nagar is a beautiful, green, and peaceful neighborhood. The hotel is conveniently located for both the city's attractions and the airport. A special thank you to everyone working at the hotel. From reception and housekeeping to the restaurant team, security staff, and everyone behind the scenes – thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality. You made me feel truly welcome. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. A well-deserved 10 out of 10!

Das Hotel befindet sich in perfekter Lage für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Delhi, die Zimmer sind sauber und die Einrichtung entspricht den Fotos. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und geht auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Ein Highlight war das Frühstück für mich - es gibt eine wechselnde Auswahl an indischen Gerichten, einen guten Kaffee und Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet.

Der Mittagslunch war gut, jedoch kein besonderes Highlight. Zu beachten ist: das Hotel liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße - es gibt Zimmer zur Straße, die entsprechend laut sind und Zimmer mit Fenstern zum ruhigen Innenhof. Dies sollte man bei der Buchung berücksichtigen.

周辺は比較的静かで、休むことができた。ちょっと歩くと近所の住民向けのレストランやカフェのあるもあって間に合わせにはよい。動物園も近い。それと鉄道の駅が意外と近いのがよかった。建物は新しくないがよく保たれていて清潔で十分満足。スタッフもフレンドリー。朝食は家庭料理のようでとても気に入った。

早めの朝食などをマネージャーに頼んでおいたのに、時間までに用意されておらず、スタッフ間のコミュニケーションがいまいちでがっかりさせられることもあった。アーリーチェックインやレイトチェックアウトに関する記述がBooking.comのページに無く、ページから問い合わせにも返事がなかった。後もう少し価格が安いといい。

L'équipement et la chambre sont vieillots. Petite soucis un soir avec la douche, coupure d’eau chaude. Fond sonore indéterminé, pouvant perturber le sommeil.

Breakfast was sufficient as i was not in the hotel much and had early starts and late finishes. The room was also sufficient, good washing and bedroom facilities. Location was good for the work i was there to do and would use the hotel again if i need to.

The room needed some maintenance and could have been cleaner but overall it suited the purposes of my stay and the service at the hotel was helpful and you felt safe.

L'hôtel est bien situé, à proximité du Pura Qila ou de la Tombe d'Humayun (Old Delhi est un peu plus éloigné). L'établissement a le mérite de constituer un havre de calme dans une ville hyper bruyante. Le quartier ne présente pas de charme particulier; il a le mérite d'être calme, proximité d'un petit restaurant et d'un ATM. Les chambres proposées sont tout à fait confortables et un nécessaire de toilette est mis à disposition. Nous avons apprécié la petite attention des noix de cajou et des cacahuètes. Le room service est aux petits soins.

Adorei a localização em bairro tranquilo e perto dos principais pontos. Conseguimos transporte para todos os locais. Tudo limpo e organizado. Não havia pressão por gorjetas e a caixinha na recepção se torna uma opção discreta para quem quer dar. Cafe da manha muito bom e restaurante que nos atendeu a noite.

As instalações são um pouco mais antigas, mas tudo funcionando.

Comfortable, nice staff. Great breakfast, Other meals are ok. Relatively quiet for Delhi- but you may hear traffic noise from the nearby highway. The neighborhood seems safe but isn't very walkable, though we did walk to the nearby (old) mosque and Khan market, both were along busy roads. India Gate walk would be similar.

First of all, the gates to the enclave where the hotel is were closed and the hotel had given no instructions as to how to access the property. I had already alerted them of my arrival time (nearly midnight) but they made zero effort to make my arrival easy. At the closed gate with my hired car, I had to call the hotel to figure out how to reach it. I had to put the hotel on speaker so the front desk person could give instructions to the driver on speaker. I use a non-India mobile phone so the call was an added expense. Finally at the hotel, I had to pay the pre-paid driver an extra 1,200 rupees because I negotiated an additional stop on the way to drop off my friend at her hotel. I tried using a UPI payment app for foreigners to pay the driver but found that it only works for paying merchants not individuals. So I went into the hotel and asked if the hotel or the staff could pay the driver on my behalf and then put the 1,200 rupees on my bill or else I could use the app to pay the hotel immediately. For some reason, they said they could do anything and said that - at 1 am! - I should walk down the street to an ATM to get cash! At 1 am! I had enough at that point and threw a fit! Finally the desk staff agreed to pay the driver but demanded that I repay the 1,200 rupees by 9 am in the morning, the end of his shift. I agreed but frankly that just upset me more. He went and paid the driver and then came back to check me in. This hotel is so antiquated with its record keeping that they make you sign an old ledger book. I got checked in and shown to my room. The room (I am in it now) is okay - rather musty (very musty - no aircon when you leave as it shuts off when you take the key card out of the slot) - on the ground floor so I can ever lift the shades - no view anyway! I realized that the front desk fellow neglected to give me any information about breakfast, the WiFi or any of the usual welcoming information. So I had to go back to the front desk to get that. He had also forgotten me to sign the prepaid payment slips for my six-day stay. Frankly, after this harried check in experience and the lack of any kindness or hospitality to help a guest, I would sooner leave after just one night. But I am here, with my stay already badly spoiled. I also have to get up early and walk down the road in this polluted city to get the front desk man his money!

Staff were excellent and we were sorry to leave. Nothing was too much trouble - moving room, extra duvet, extra pillow, extra water, printing off tickets etc. Our room was quiet and there was plenty of hot water. Close to Khan Market - great for coffee houses, bars and shopping, and also for key tourist attractions like Humayuns Tomb, Purana Qila, Modern Art Museum and India Gate

The front rooms of the hotel do get consistent "horn noise" from the busy road quite near the hotel. If that could be a problem, then you need to be clear about that prior to or at check-in. Other than that nothing!

Housekeeping didn't come to the room during the day, so we ran out of tea and toilet paper.

Excelente localização, em uma área bem segura e tranquila (com portões e seguranças nas extremidades da rua). Quarto muito confortável, cama e chuveiro excelentes. O restaurante dentro do hotel é muito bom e tem bons preços, bastante conveniente por ser uma área residencial. Um elogio e um agradecimento especial aos funcionários, todos muito diligentes e extremamente atenciosos e respeitosos. Agradeço muito à Senhora Paramjit Kaur por toda a atenção e cuidado comigo. Indico fortemente e espero poder voltar, sempre será minha escolha em Delhi!

Poor rooms. Had cockroaches in the room. The food was terrifying as well - the amount they are charging, it could have been better.

It was well located for my work, accessible and easy to find. The staff, especially Paramjeet Kaur was outstanding in her hospitality, her warmth and consideration for my requests and made me feel like family. Every time I made a request, she did her very best to address it to my satisfaction, and did so unhesitatingly, without making empty promises. I was extremely comfortable and will be back soon! Thanks so much, Paramjeet and Ahuja Residency staff, for a wonderful stay.

Rooms were a little small, but well kept.

While traveling to Delhi I always choose Sunder Nagar location, it's not my first stay at Ahuja Residency and since it's now the only one hotel in Sunder Nagar that meets my expectations- I will choose it again. Yet, the price seems to be a bit exaggerated, all I didn't like was size of the room- definitely too small. Except that- no complaints, helpful staff, good breakfast.

Though everyone at Ahuja Sunder Nagar is lovely, Ramesh is THE BEST!! He was so attentive, made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay easy, memorable. Thank you to Ramesh and the entire team at Ahuja for the wonderful landing experience! We stayed in room 309!!

Very pleasant and helpful staff, esp. at the front desk and in the 4th floor restaurant. Mr Rajeev (?Rajneesh) who was on duty on the night of the 7th of Oct, 2025, especially went out of his way to assist me with arranging change when I got stuck while paying a cab in cash. The location is great for south-central Delhi, very quiet, peaceful and green. Right next to the zoo, if you are traveling with kids. Very hassle-free checkin and checkout. The a la carte menu for dinner was fine for me, the chana masala I ordered was delicious. The 4th floor room and its bed were comfortable, large and with adequate storage space, charging points etc.

My top floor room had some damp spots on the wall, nothing major. The electric kettle's lid was difficult to fit on the kettle and kept flying off. Some amenities you have to call up the desk and request, but its not a huge problem as they arrive quickly.

The hotel staff were friendly and professional, and we found the room comfortable and quiet. The restaurant door breakfast on an upper level was also an enjoyable spot for eating some fresh fruit and drinking coffee before a day in Delhi. Close to the zoo and several good sights in the area.

The location is very convenient because you can walk to various places of interest, including Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and its gardens, government ministries, convention center and the zoo. Also, the neighborhood in which it is located is upper class.

Old property, needs a lot of improvement. The price for a night is too high as there are no smart TVs, poor air conditioning, fans and remotes do not work smoothly.

Staff's are amazing well service provided

I'd like to say that the property is at a good location and the staff are courteous. However, I had a few issues that dampened the quality of my stay. 1. The TV remote was not working and the TV was not turning off. 2. The AC remote only worked sometimes, and the temperature wasn't changing so the room got either very cool or you had to turn the AC off. I called hosuekeeping but they were unable to properly fix these issues. 3. The rooms were a little cramped for 2 people. Please ensure working equipment in all the rooms and otherwise It is a good quality stay.

Stayed at Ahuja Residency and was pleasantly surprised. We were a large group but the hotel handled it very well. Although the hotel is basic, the customer service was excellent. All the staff were very helpful and catered to our requirements efficiently. Overall a good experience.
