Hôtel Quai des Pontis

etablissement surprenant mai peu pratique pour personnes agées

difficile pour accéder aux chambres avec bagages

Le cadre, la Charente, le jardin

Location and the hotel grounds.

Perfect location, beautiful room, staff professional and friendly, really good breakfast with lots of choice.

Emplacement Propreté Petit déjeuner

Douche (fuite, matériel cassé) Toilettes (cassé) Évier (bouché)

Location and parking

Wi-Fi is very poor Not the best quality rooms for the cost

On reviendra !

Prachtige locatie.

L’emplacement

Salle de bain très petite

Fantastique merci beaucoup Cadre personnel chambre lodge petit déjeuner tout était absolument parfait

The room was lovely. Nice decor, air con, very comfy

There could have been bigger/more towels provided.

Super petit déjeuner. Chambre grande et literie confortable. Belle vue et calme. Personnel souriant.

L’accueil la disponibilité

Its location and the hotel setting is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and it is the third time we have stayed here on our route home from the UK to Spain. There are wonderful restaurants nearby and lovely walks along the river. If you get a room that overlooks the garden you could think you were somewhere more tropical.

We had no complaints at all.

Great location if you want to explore Cognac for a couple of days. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast, both at the buffet and in the room, was amazing.

Sadly the beds were not the most comfortable.

Struttura con tutti i comfort

A beautifully quirky hotel, set by the river in Cognac. Very comfortable room with great AC (which was very welcome as temperature was 39°). Short walk to the village with some lovely restaurants. Spacious secure carpark (free of charge) and lovely breakfast.

Nothing!

Rien

Comfortable room, excellent location close to the town centre. The (small) swimming pool was a plus!

Nothing.

Wonderfull hotel, it was a nice surprise, we were just going to stay a few nights to visit Cognac and end up staying more nights and use the hotel as base to visit the all the region. Beautiful location by the river with a nice garden and a small but very pleasant pool. The staff really try to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the rooms and cabins are very cosy and confortable.

The breakfast could be served untill a litle later, 9h30am its was a litle early for our vacation wake up hours🙂 but this is just a personal preference, the breakfast itself it was very nice with good variety and quality products.

Comfortable room and beautiful grounds close to the river and centre of Cognac. Staff were great. They organised posting home an item I left behind by mistake. They really went the extra mile to help.

Bucolique et différent des hôtels classiques

The place itself, nature, the layout

Mooie kamers. Voortreffelijk ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijk personeel.

Bel emplacement, beau cadre.

Great location, very comfortable and clean . Comfortable beds, good selection of restaurants in walking distance. Helpful staff, breakfast excellent. Great parking

Nothing

Gorgeous hotel and lovely clean room which was enormous with a large outside area we had to ourselves. . All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice bar area and lovely breakfast. Close to many restaurants and only a few minutes walk into Cognac town. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing.

Lodge was beautiful and spotlessly clean as were the lovely grounds. Small play area for children and swimming pool. Air conditioning was greatly appreciated in the heatwave.

N/A

A fantastic find! The complex is quirky but well-appointed. We loved the green and leafy outdoor spaces and the pool- a great bonus! Easy walk into town and a 10 min taxi to the train station. Reception staff went above and beyond to help us arrange a taxi excursion, and booked us in for breakfast last minute.

Nothing- everything was perfect.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly Whole place very attractive and well maintained

Wonderful location on river with easy access to Cognac’s bars and restaurants. Very pleasant staff and good air conditioning!

Nothing

El personal superatento. El sitio precioso.

The chalet was air-conditioned which was fantastic in the heat in Cognac. The deck onto the river was beautiful and the pool area was great. Very easy walk into beautiful town with good restaurants, bars and shopping.

The bed was against a wall so the person on that side would have to climb over the other to use the bathroom. Very basic equipment if you wanted to cook.

So beautiful garden

Absolutely beautiful in every way. Stunning accommodation.

Nothing not to like.

Relaxing beautiful environment Comfortable room with balcony with electronic canopy for shade Proximity to River Charente and Cognac

Cadre verdoyant très agréable, très belle bâtisse. Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, literie très confortable. Bon petit déjeuner, produits de qualité

RAS

The location was excellent.

It was in need of some TLC. We got the last lodge available which unfortunately was overlooking a car park with the maintenance yard/workshop next door. There were no cushions on the outdoor furniture on the balcony. The pool was closed when we arrived early evening. We were told it was because it was windy even though we were in the midst of a heatwave.

Everything love it here

Nothing

Oui

Location was excellent. Hotel was on the river edge and we could walk everywhere. Room was like a log cabin with own outside terrace with seating. Clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. Parking was on-site no extra charge. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No restaurant but plenty within walking distance.

Leuke locatie in Cognac. Goede tussenstop op weg naar Spanje. Ontbijt was goed.

Tout 👌🏻

Spacious comfortable room with lovely ensuite and deck. Superb location for an easy stroll into the town, nice walks, great restaurants nearby.

Excellent location within 5 minute walk of the centre of Cognac. Secure parking. Excellent breakfast Very friendly staff. Very spacious room with air conditioning.

Would help if there was an extractor fan in the bathroom.

Accueil, personnel a l'écoute, souriant, amabilité.

Mooie rustige locatie. Prachtige tuin grenzend aan de Charente. Leuke gezellige kamers in lodge stijl met veel hout met ruim balkon. Prima ontbijt. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede bedden en goed ontbijt. Eigen parkeerterrein.

Niets

Very nice location, close to the small city of Cognac.

Awesome. Big cabin. Pool. Trampoline even! Right by river. Friendly staff. Very cool place. No taxis were available on May 1st, so the OWNER drove us to the train station himself.

Wifi was not good. Everything else, wonderful.

Location

The cabin Zen was dated and cramped

Very peaceful loved it

Nothing. All good
