This is our second time staying at the Alfa Hotel. The room is cozy, air conditioning, mini-fridge, TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, hot water - everything is there. You can ask for an iron. Families with and without children stay here - that's why we choose this hotel. The staff is friendly, they help with choosing routes around the city, answer all questions that arise. What is also important - we slept peacefully at night, there is no noise from the street, music, construction sites, etc. The location is very convenient - there is a tram and bus stop in 2 minutes, and the metro is 10 minutes away. Lots of markets nearby and countless cafes and restaurants. The sheets and towels are clean. Sultanahmet Square is 3-4 tram/bus stops away (about 10 minutes).
Room was cold. I travelled in Winter and the room was cold. I spent all my day outside in cold and rain and even when I got back to my hotel, the room was cold and shower water was cold too. safe box did not work and they could not replace it on time. at first room was clean. I stayed there for 5 days, in between when I asked for cleaning, they did a poor job.
Godt ophold
2 star hotel charges 5 star fee , don't get fooled by pictures, it is not what you see Horrible hotel, poor location, poor breakfast, you have to carry your luggage to second floor stairs, elevator is in second floor maximum 2 person without luggage, very low lighting they use 10amp light bulb, shower water don't drain all the way to your ankle, Travel agencies must remove 4 and 3 stars from their sites if they want to keep their clients. for the same price you can easy stay in real 5 star hotel.
save your money this is a 2 star hotel no more than $15.00 per day, small room terrible lighting, water don't drain, location not good, hotel is not as you see in the pictures. you have to carry luggage second floor. elevator only for one person. very low lighting, poor breakfast
Stay away don’t get fooled by pictures they list as 4 star charge as 5 star actually 2 star should be Maximim $18. Dollars per night, low lighting 15wat, you cant see much, shower clogged water all the way to ankle, i pad less price to real 5 star hotel, save your money, he writes his own reviews under different names for sure
Affordable and right location
Bra frukost, men gammal byggnad, och små rum
We have visited Istanbul and reserved hotel for 3 night. Everything was very good. I can give 4 of 5 to the hotel. Room was clean and pretty good. Breakfast was good. Location, accessable to tram, metro and was excellent. Hotel manager was friendly and professional, economy hotel but everything was excellent. Only bad point, lady reception was proud!!!!! Thanks to hotel manager.
This hotel is in a very dirty and unsafe neighborhood. The street Infront of the hotel is very narrow and crowded. The area is very unsafe and dirty. After we were checked in at the front desk, we went to the room. We were told that the room is none smoking which wasn’t true. Not only the room was smelled horrible, but it was also not cleaned too. There was nothing inside the bathroom. I mean no towels or other amenities. There was a supper dirty kettle on the table. When we informed the front desk, we were told that they have no room available until next day. Next morning when we woke up, there was no drop of water in the bathroom, when we called the front desk, we were told that there is no water in the tire area so there’s nothing they could do. It was one of the worst experiences I had in Istanbul. Our reservation was for three nights but I had to leave without any refund for the next two nights that I have paid but didn’t stay there
It was worst experience ever had It’s not three stars it should be one star Receptionist very rude The room filthy shower missing door and smoke smell in room
my belongings were stolen in 10 minutes i left the room to the reception.. the front desk gave the key of my room to the service person who entered the room and took my accessories which contained a gold ring and a silver bracelet.. my friend entered the room and was shocked to find him in the room putting things in his pocket.. we made complaints to the front desks.. they all escaped.. the camera recorded his entrance to the room at 3 am in the morning..
As I visited this same hotel other 3 times in the past, I can make an objective comparison. Other times was impeccably clean, this time a subtle (yet remanent) cigarette smell was present in the room. I remember this hotel has excellent breakfast. This time, due to Coronavirus, breakfast was cancelled. TV with no signal, fortunately WIFI signal was excellent. Also, the private parking worth a lot. Essentially, a pleasant stay, but not extraordinary. I hope that next time, after the Coronavirus crisis will be gone, they will came back to provide the excellent services , as I know they can do
The staff dont speak English they have no idea who their guests are whats going on. Also people smoking everywhere with the hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights, the breakfast was ok with different choice and two juices and tea and coffee. It has small elevator and the staff and reception were friendly and kind and helpful, it is near to Aksaray and it has good location, the cost was good and it's a school next to it but the sound did not annoy us.in conclusion it's a cost effective Hotel alfa best Hotel...
Hello friends ... I went with my friend to Turkey and we booked a beautiful hotel called Alpha, everything is beautiful and pure, we wake up in the morning, and we have breakfast, very cool, I recommend to everyone who wants to go to Turkey I recommend to go to the Alpha Hotel, a nice reception Very highly, especially those working in the hotel are very cool - I especially recommend Cesar's friend
The area is centrally located and convenient to the main tourist attractions, which are easily accessible by tram. We booked a triple room which was tiny for a family. There's no space for luggage but we happened to be transiting overnight. Continental buffet breakfast was mainly eggs, cold cuts and vegetables. Sufficient for a transit hotel but definitely not for a longer stay.
Oki hotel spoj električkou 4 zástavky centrum
Everything was good except the room was small.
Genel anlamda iyi diyebilirim..
Unless you are skint don't go here, it's not a hotel it's more like a hostel. And how it's rated 3 star I will never know. Also I booked a room for 4 nights by mistake which I agree is my fault. However within 2 minutes of realising what I had done I called to explain and was only refunded one night instead of the full two. Robbery!! Food was not good to be honest in my opinion I would not go here again and if you have kids stay away. The noise is outrageous!!

Breakfast is bad Also, I just need to know one thing how they rate it 4 stars ? We had big issues in this hotel not only me even other people were not happy about their stay there. Not clean, bad smell and very small bathroom.
What happened with us in this hotel that they made us pay twice for the reservation . They didnt want to give us the recipt for what we paid . We keep contacting them but no response and they keep denying . Now they want recipt to give us the money back while they did not want to give us the recipt before . .
Very helpful staff very kind Closer to all attractions
Good friendly helpful staff. Closer to all the main attractions.
Very very bad
Thé location is good but the rooms soo small the bathrooms are too small even the showers I don’t recommend it
New one year old hotel Good treatment Good breakfast
If you want to just sleep somewhere that is ok, this hotel is a good place for you, hotel is safe and security cameras are everywhere! Located in central part of Istanbul... Yet smal rooms, you easily hear the next rooms noises. Definitely not a 4star hotel, no proper coffee or milk during breakfast.. wifi doesnot work, at all... they say they can’t do anything about it.
2 oda rez..
Good but the breakfast need more improvement
Leuk Hotel en Rustig lekker gezellig mensen aardig
Pros: - Clean rooms (room was cleaned every day during our stay) - breakfast - location: 250m to Yusufpasha tram station, 700-800m to Marmaray (could pass to the Asian side of Istanbul, Yenikapi metro to use both lines of metro(Airport and Taksim), 500m to Aksaray metro. It is also possible to use Dolmush (minibus) for going to Taksim, which is 200m from the hotel. - provided water in the fridge every day for free Cons: - reception is located on the 1st floor and there is no lift on the ground floor - Wifi speed evenings was very low, need to upgrade
This hotel is really awful! Breakfast is terrible and their staff never charge it! The location is not good but your access to public transportation is good. Guys don't waste you money and also don't waste your vacation on this poor hotel!!
I am agree with these reviews . I stayed there for 7 nights. It was clean.shower was good with warm water every time. breakfast was complete and delicious .staffs behavior was not bad.but unfortunately you can't communicate by English language. Use "google translate ".there are plenty of steps to reach the lobby and the street has a little ramp .We saw a wedding every night at the near hotel. and It is near transportation main point.
Hotel doesn’t have any facilities but room are nice and clean and it feels like nice 3 star hotel. Free WIFI, free breakfast. The only problem was Im staying at the south side of the building which faces a mosque and loud Azan sound woke wake me up early in the morning.
Good location and Nice hotel with cheap price I recommend to anyone .
hi good location. about five minutes to tramway and 10 min to yenikapi metro station. small room, i couldnt take shower at morning because of cold water and breakfast was very repetitive and with and low variation that also was cold or finished!
close to tram and metro and bus station Breakfast included . The room service excellent . Location is good . Beds are very comfortable . You can be at Taksim in 10 minutes . It is a nice hotel is clean, and comfortable, people are friendly and helpful
The Good: Almost near public transportation Almost good air conditioner Almost clean Warm water LCD Safe box Closet Tea maker Refrigerator Good cake in breakfast but that little which you should ambush for it! The bad: Lots of different noise like street, school, ... 80*80 elevator is not capable of carrying baby stroller Bad smell from bathroom Similar breakfast for every day Average breakfast Average light in the room No tissues in the room The ugly: 25 steps to the elevator which is not acceptble if you have infant with stroller. I wont come back again to this hotel because of this problem.
I satyed one night . In overall it is ok but definitely it is not 4star hotel . I think you can find the same hotel service and location in less price . Donot expect a four star hotel service .
Hotel room cloud have been cleaner. They did change the sheets every other day. very loud so forget about sleeping if your a light sleeper. Staff are not very friendly and don't want to help you with direction. I almost felt unwanted. Cheap place so I guess you expect it.
It is a nice hotel close to a tram metro station . It is situated in a street hardly 100 meters away from the road . The metro station is a in a centre so we go to every where in Europe side. But the service of the hotel is ok .There is on elevator or lift form the gate of the hotel to its lobby . The elevator is started from lobby . overall we gave to the hotel rating is 4 stars.
Nice staff, close to tram and metro and bus station; good breakfast; small rooms but clean; about 5 min to Sultanahmet station by tram; nice neighborhood restaurants and cafes; you can travel so easy by preparing an Istanbul card in metro station and use it for 10 people at max; don't forget to go to Eminönü İskelesi and take a short trip to the islands by ship and your Istanbulcard;
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, the breakfast was ok with different choice and two juices and tea and coffee. It has small elevator and the staff and reception were friendly and kind and helpful, it is near to Aksaray and it has good location, the cost was good and it's a school next to it but the sound did not annoy us.in conclusion it's a cost effective hotel.
The Alpha Hotel is a convenient and economical hotel in a busy area in the city of Istanbul. The rooms are small and cozy. The hotel entrance is small but intimate.Breakfast is not so satisfying. But be aware that you are staying in a cheap and affordable hotel.Instead, the attitude of most hotel staff is good and intimate. The most important advantage of the hotel, apart from its affordable price, is its location and good access to the tram, metro, taxi and Aksaray Square. In general, I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a sightseeing tour in Istanbul and the hotel is more for sleeping.
Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed Goed
Good and the food in breakfast not that quality its three stars hotel , and not enough food for vistors !
My stay at Alfa hotel was four nights during late June. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - the building is new or recently rennovated, and facilities are pretty functional, - it also has a spacious parking lot which is an essential advantage for travellers with private cars, - the receptionists and staff are welcoming and helpful, - WiFi is free and coverage is reasonably good, although sometimes stucks, - location is fairly good, about five minutes walking distance from "Yusuf pasha" tramway station, - surrounded by a number of grocery shops for basic needs, a laundry is also just in front of building, - just a minute walk toward the "Sadik usta", a famous donner kebap shop, Cons: - a bit noisey due to street traffic. Although double layer windows were installed, but some of them are not fully fixed and sound proof, ask for a backside room if the street noise disturbs you, - overally, the hotel is clean but not absolutely spotless. Mangement intervention sometimes might be required, - breakfast is average with basic stuff, although it is healthy and fine, - a school is just next to the building, noticeable for off-season travellers. Generally speaking the hotel is recommended as convenient and affordable place.
For one night .. It's OK
They need to upgrade their washers. There was a lot of hair in all sheets, towels and everything. At first I thought they didn't change them. But then they renewed them each day and all new towels were also full of hair
This ia bustling part of Istanbul - not with tourists but real people going about their business from all partners of Europe, buying and selling. Its a few stops on the tram from the Blue Mosque etc. and just 10 minutes walk (though it is a little tricky to find) from the metro (Aksaray) that brings you directly from the airport in 35 minutes. Done up recenty in glitzy local style, staff are very friendly, breakfast is fine, and the rooms are a good size.
Krótki 2-dniowy pobyt. Ważna byłą lokalizacja w centrum i w pobliżu stacji metra.
Sehr freundliches Team, meine Besuchern konnten sogar mit uns umsonst frühstücken
Room 410 was nice with a balcony and a view of the city. Breakfast was just ok and the same every day.
I came to Istanbul for business, needed a clean comfortable hotel to rest in after work... and this hotel was beyond expectations
I had one overnight stay. Initially had trouble locating as I had arrived a Yenicapi ferry port. The first 3 taxis that I asked refused to take me. The 4th charged me 40 TL take it or leave it !!. The hotel itself is modern, nicely decorated, and well mannered and friendly front desk staff. The room I had contained a very comfortable Queen size double bed. Everything in the room including the bathroom and fittings was new and attractively styled. However the room would be rather small for 2 people sharing. I would suggest that they produce a better location map showing Yenicapi and Aksaray Metro stations for people like me. I would stay in this hotel again.
My room was small but so comfortable, had a small fridge and even had a balcony. The view was lovely, too. I kept the balcony door open when I slept so call to prayers was a bit loud but didn't bother me. There is a/c, though. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Great restaurant and other handy stores right on the block. Hotel is close to metro. The staff were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel
Helpful front desk. Large breakfast buffet with Turkish dishes. Electric kettle and tea in room. Quiet air conditioner. Easy walk to metro and tram. Good overall experience.
Alfa hotel is very easier to find as the it's located near a tram station. Main tourist attraction places like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque are about 10 minutes away from the hotel which is very convenient. The neighbourhood is safe I am able to walk a lone at night without any hesitation. However, there is a school close to the hotel and I am not able to sleep longer as I can hear the kids playing in school yards at 8 am which can be annoying at times.
Breakfast should be better.
So pleased to stay in the hotel due to an important location and very close to an important places.
The hotel was really nice & was in a perfect area to for seeing all the sights , trams , metro , buses etc were all near . Was good to be in the old town area as more authentic , very clean , room comfortable , nothing we could fault on this hotel.
IST airport Metro to Asksaray Metro - 30 mins. Walk from metro to hotel - 15 minutes. Was a bit difficult to find, it is in a safe neighborhood with great access to public transport. Room was very neat, new and clean but extremely small.
good for price. tiny room, tiny bathroom, tiny shower stall, but I'm glad with my choice coz I'm a clean freak and the room & bathroom were remodeled & clean. I wasn't afraid to touch surfaces. great water pressure, excellent drainage. tiny modern-style sink (bend over it to wash ur face, water splashes everywhere BUT in the sink), but clean was higher on my list than size so i managed. bed was comfortable altho linens were sparse. that was also ok since u have individual AC temp control- make it as cold or warm as u want. bare bones amenities like towels & shampoo, but I bring my own toiletries anyway. location was great for me. immediate surroundings are quite dingy so if ur not accustomed to middle eastern or third world streets and conditions, & u need a glossy valet area with manicured lawns etc, you probably shouldn't stay here. view from my room was the neighbor's balcony laundry so I just didn't open the curtains. ten min walk to aksaray tramway, & ten min walk to yusufpasa metro station. I actually walked (by accident) all the way to the hotel back from hagia sophia/blue mosque. it's a straight shot until the last 5 minutes when u turn off to walk up the hill (not steep) to the hotel. I was browsing shops for souvenirs & found I had walked back to hotel in a leisurely1.5 hours. lots of convenience stores and delis & food carts in immediate vicinity so you can get cheap eats & whatever snacks and toiletries you need-places were all open until past midnight on weekdays
Clean, new hotel with convenient access to most landmarks. Rooms could be a bit more spacious, but a perfect lodging for families.
Nice hotel, very kind and helpful staff. Thanks.
