SeaGarden Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Great small hotel , the beach was lovely. And the food was good, place very clean

I would give SeaGarden Beach Resort a 0/10. I booked my reservation on March 11 and received a confirmation from the resort. On June 4, I even received an email from the Reservations Manager, Felicia, confirming my reservation. After flying to Jamaica on July 6, I arrived at the resort only to be told that my reservation had been cancelled. When I asked to speak with someone in management, I was initially told there was no one available. A few moments later, a woman introduced herself and explained that my booking agent had been notified of the cancellation. I asked a simple question: If someone at the resort took the time to email me to confirm my reservation on June 4, why didn’t that same person email me when the reservation was cancelled? I had no idea at the time that the person standing in front of me was the same Reservations Manager who had sent the confirmation email. She handed me her business card and told me to contact her if I needed anything. Later that evening, when my booking agent was unable to reach the hotel to verify what had happened, I looked at her card and realized she was the very person who had previously emailed me. At no point did SeaGarden Beach Resort take responsibility for the situation. There was no apology, no meaningful explanation, and no effort to help resolve the problem—even though the issue originated with the resort. I was left stranded in a foreign country scrambling to find accommodations because the resort failed to communicate directly with me. This experience demonstrated a serious lack of accountability, professionalism, and compassion. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking this resort. Travelers deserve honest communication and management that takes responsibility when mistakes happen. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Love the sea garden it’s old school jamacian with great vibe not 5 star rooms but clean older hotel great slice of beach

Our wedding celebration at Seagarden Beach Resort on March 29, 2026 was nothing short of magical. From the moment we viewed the property, we were struck by its timeless beauty. The lush surroundings, breathtaking beauty of the main garden, stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere that felt both romantic and relaxing sold it for us. The ambience truly set the perfect tone for such a special occasion. We knew immediately that this was going to be our wedding venue. On the day of the event, what stood out just as much as the scenery was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, attentive and professional, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and cared for throughout the entire experience. My husband and I do extend a special form of gratitude to Miss Kelly, the wedding planner, who was absolutely incredible. She stayed on top of every detail, kept everything running smoothly and made sure that our vision came to life perfectly. Her dedication, organization, and calm presence made all the difference, and we are so grateful to her and her amazing team for making our day so seamless and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate such an important milestone. We wholeheartedly recommend Seagarden Beach Resort to any couple looking for a beautiful location with outstanding service to host their wedding. It was truly a day we will cherish forever.

Room was okay but it was maintenance going on in the next door could not get any rest

The hotel would have been good value for money if they returned my £100 deposit I paid on the day of arrival. Despite several emails I have received no response! In addition, when I arrived for check in I had to wait over 1 hour before being allowed to check in to my room, as compensation they allowed a later check out.

The property wasn’t in great condition but it also wasn’t in bad condition. The bathroom was very small, couldn’t use the toilet without the face sink touching you. The hot water wasn’t as hot and it doesn’t work at all late at night. So I would advise anyone to shower before 12AM. The bed was okay, it was king size with 3 flat pillows and it didn’t have any blankets. What I loved about the property was that it had great entertainment every night and great food at the buffet. The workers were very friendly and nice as well

Staff was great. Buffet food was as expected, but not amazing. The big issue, they gave us an “upgrade” to a pool view room, but didn’t tell us there was a bad playing way too loud until 10pm. Also there were limited electrical plug in’s for devices.

The property has an old Jamaican charm.

The experience was pretty good, the food was great, staffs were amazing. I stayed for 7 nights. I had some issues with my reservations, management team were excellent and nice. One of the housekeeping staff Ms Cereta. She was amazing. Overall my stayed was great, I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good and the room was clean and comfy. The beach and beach grill was a nice place to chill. The only drawback is the lack of elevator when you're on the third floor, but I guess I needed the exercise. I would definitely return.

The floor stay wet from the ceiling to the floor. Was told from condensation So the air has to run continuously also I have to keep the blinds closed my bed was wet . The dining room hot like hell no air sweat running off the workers face so that make them miserable. The food needs improvement . Unsafe floors in the rooms.

The room was filthy- very filthy. For instance, the shower head was dirty and muck dripped from it. The situation was so revolting that my son refused to take a shower.Eventually a kind housekeeper arrived and scrubbed the muck from the shower head.As Additionally, as soon as we entered the room, my son and I started coughing and sneezing. My eyes got red, swollen and started watering. I later discovered that the filters in the air conditioners were so filthy and heavily coated with dust and dead insects which subsequently littered the bed as my husband removed them to have them had to clean them. The hotel's management is either non-existent or believe that it is a wanton waste of time to respond to customers' queries and requests to speak with them. I called the front office several times while I was at the hotel and even before writing this review, and no manager has attempted to reach out. The games room is laughable, and I was also unable to secure any tennis rackets play on the newly upgraded tennis court. The only commendable aspects of the experience were the food, live entertainment, and the jocular staff that works in the dining areas and bars. Finally, forget this hotel if you have children older than 10- my son was bored stiff. As I have conveyed in my conversations with the staff at the front office-San the manager- customers work very hard for their money and hence deserve at minimum- a decent experience.

Bit noisy even after 1AM otherwise we all enjoyed the holidays.

A very affordable option to stay at whilst enjoying tourist attractions in Jamaica. The staff were very welcoming and kind and made the experience a great one. I'd definitely revisit with my family.

This is a great all-inclusive hotel near the airport with everything you need for a little getaway -- food, drinks, beach, swimming pool, game room, and more. They have a formal Italian air-conditioned restaurant which is very nice, so be sure to make reservations at the lobby desk near the buffet restaurant after you check-in, as time slots go quickly (first seating 7pm).

The hotel staff make us feel like we're coming home, always welcoming and friendly! Thanks so much to the various departments who make guests like us feel special. We noticed the new signage this trip and also the work being done on the fountain/fish pond area with fresh paint. And of course, we love the gardens with the beautiful flowers, especially the orchids, which create a peaceful oasis.

I had no complaints

Price is very reasonable, however i had few issues. Im pretty sure there isnt enough hot water for certain buildings in the morning because i couodnt get a single hot shower in the morning, 2nd the ac barely felt cool, asked them to look at it no change and yje previous place had a split it cooled the room no issue and that was 2 star resort, finally its odd to me not to have a blanket even on the bed and a dew size pillows..otherwise if yoi get round this its a very clean, friendly stay.

The beach is beautiful. The water is very shallow and clear. The beach bar makes burgers and jerk items. The staff is not courteous. There were a handful of people that was nice and provided good service. The property (grounds)is beautiful. The rooms are too old and needs upgrades. The lobby area needs paint and new furniture. The buffet is the only place that had a modern look to it. We had 5 different rooms and only one room was up to par. My friends had no hot water the whole time we were there. The light went out one day and the generator ran out of gas. Food was okay. Some days they made good stuff other days were not great. The house keeping staff is horrible....I had to chase them every night for wash clothes. When you ask for something that's supposed to be in the room, the answer will be we will send it right over only to have to ask or go in person a few times. If you want a great beach and 1 star service then this is your place.

This is the first time that my wife and I have stayed at this property. We are totally impressed with the staff and beautiful rooms, gardens, beach. The food was outstanding. Shout out to Lyndon and Clayton most excellent part of the staff. We would stay here again!

It was never stated we had a balcony which overlooked a building site with constant banging and dust,, we spent most holiday with me water in tap or shower , maintenance guy said it’s due to low pressure and we’ll have to make do with it,,, the air con was blocked and leaking water onto the plug socket, asked 3 times to be moved rooms and just got palmed off ,,, and the bar staff shinique and Tony was really rude and arrogant ,, they’d constantly stare at you talk to each other and laugh,, it made us feel really uncomfortable and awkward,, we went away for our wedding anniversary and ended up spending most of the time stuck in the hotel room as that was the only bar on resort and got made to feel unwelcome,,,, never ever going back to this hotel and to top it off the desk in the lobby where you book taxi $10 for a return trip to the super market ( Spiceworld ) I asked would it be safe as I’m scared to go off resort,, the guy then said it’ll be $20 and they’ll make sure I get back safe,,,, what a con,,, the whole experience was a shambles

Booked two rooms one on Expedia. The smelled moldy, sink would not drain, had to put my hands in the dirty water to drain the sink, no TV remote. The second room, booked directly with the hotel, had to put your hand in the back of the toilet to flush it, AC didn’t work, and went an ate dinner the food was tasteless and my daughter ate something that made her sick. The front desk was horrible, took over an hour to check is in. We reported everything right away and got no response, we checked out the next day and they refused to give me all my money back. I lost four days.

This resort is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is good and the drinks are great. This place exterior can use some updating. It checks all the boxes when it comes to a resort stay. My only complaint is the front desk staff are not just taking their time they are dismissive and a little rude.

I loved the vintage ambiance of the SeaGarden Beach Resort. I was impressed to see the grounds people walking around the property enhancing the maintenance and upkeep. There were two great breakfast waitress that provided great service on Thursday morning, I can remember their names but they understood the importance of connecting with the guest. Great overall stay!

staff was not friendly at all. Our bathroom was not cleaned properly. I feel as if the area needs lots of improvement as well. The food was not on point it was cold and stale this cooperation needs to get a step up. There where cockroaches every where there was also rats running around the place maybe they need to get some cats to help with that problem honestly.

I paid for 5 days, the room Keyes did not work so they were supposed to fix them, so we went on a excursion & when we came back the next day they checked us out & stated that Expedia only paid them for 2 days— we NEVER checked out .they bought our items & clothes in a trash bag! Hopefully Expedia will help if not …. Plus the hotel is old and the rooms are like your on a plantation … the food is awful! The grounds need a update…

This property has the potential to be beautiful with better furnitures and a bit of modernization, I did not meet one pleasant staff except the manager who cut my band off, they demand a $200 deposit that would not be refunded before 3 or more days, the best thing about this property was the beach area, it is definitely not value for money and I would not go back if I could help it and I definitely would not recommend. This is a very honest review with no malicious intent. Just the truth.

The room was nice but the pillows were horrible. The food they served was the same each morning/night at the buffet ,for the most part. Seemed as if it was left over from the previous day/night. THe BIGGEST problem I had was they DO NOT HAVE ANY TOP SHELF LIQUOR...PERIOD.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure you’re ok. The food was amazing. I enjoyed my stay here . I would definitely visit again.

Did not like the service for this trip. One booking yet the family was split up and far apart which took away from the trip. The front agent was not helpful during our checkin. I think she was more interested in billing us something, was a big turn off from the get go.

Property has a lot of potential but was poorly kept. Very dirty. There was mold in the bathroom the curtains were dirty, room wasn’t swept. Grounds were dirty. Walls outside were moldy ac units were dripping. I also have pictures.

Food trash.. no real options.. same thing every day.. staff not friendly at all or helpful or attentive at allll.. they checked us in 2 hrs late but we were there waiting 3.. all service sucks.. I do not recommend this place.. it was beautiful to look at but outside of the looks everything else about this place sucks.. zero entertainment.. I’d give them an 2 outta 5 star.. ohhh and they have roaches..so shake your clothes out well before leaving to go back home.

The food choices were poor and not very good. The staff was great and friendly.

I did like the treatment of the staff to the guests l like how they were neatly dressed in their uniform. I also like the different types of food they prepared. The music in the restaurant was boring after listening to the same voice for every meal. I thought Jamaica had more recording artists. I grew up on more than one.

Pleasant and awesome beach!

The Dinning staffs were excellent, front desk Terrible, dont know how to control their personal feeling. Other property staffs were very courteous and respectful. Lobby furnitures Need to be removed and replaced with new modern furnitures. Lastly, the dinning area needs a better cooling system for staff and guest. Ceiling fan is not sufficient. Overall, I saw the property been maintained daily and its clean.

Small resort, economical, with all the amenities of a large one, good for 2 days

The staff and the difference in rooms. Your buffet was messy. Children were all over the place and making a mess.

Food was good. Lunch and dinner were the best, the breakfast needs some work. I like the ambiance of the property, but some of the staff have poor customer service; they do not know to communicate with people. Also, the water pressure in my room was not the best, it took me longer to shower than it should have. Overall, it was better than I expected.

I really liked the friendliness of most staff. The buffet was mostly tasty, but needs to be shuffled a bit more. The grounds were kept very clean. Some of the bigger areas could use central air.

I did appreciate Shantel breakfast and lunch very creative with her resources to accommodate our vegan lifestyle. Food was always fresh and appealing. Check in very annoyingly, unacceptably slow

I enjoyed my 4 days stay at Sea Garden Resort. It is not a luxury hotel but the rooms were clean and well kept. Let’s talk about the food and wait staff, my palate was never disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff courteous, polite and professional. I didn’t encounter any rude staff. It’s good to go back home and experience this level of service. I was thoroughly satisfied.

The food was great they had a lot of options. The lasagna was awesome in the Italian restaurant. The beds are comfortable just could use a comforter because the rooms are cold. Overall everything was great.

Check-in was a mess. I didn't get the room I requested, it wasnt ready at 3om check-in. The bell boy carried my male friends bags, and ignored mine. Made me carry my own bags all the way to our room which was upstairs (no elevator) and far from lobby! Food in main dining was subpar. Skip.

My bathroom had a bathtub and slippery which was fine but no provision was made for the slippery tub almost fell. No towels were in my bathroom had to call several time before we got bathtowels. The waitress in the Jasmin were unpleasant. Took forever before I got somthing to drink each time. I was wondering if they were short staff. Went to the beach in the afternoon was told they were out of towels so I couldn't enjoy the evening beach.
