Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Fue un gran hallazgo este hotel, queda a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad y se puede llegar al mismo caminando, con la ventaja de estar localizado en una zona muy tranquila y emblemática de la ciudad (plaza Morelos, acueducto y fuente de las Tarascas). Las habitaciones impecables y el personal muy atento y eficiente. Por la noche hay mucho silencio por lo que se puede descansar muy bien, el restaurante con buenos precios y menú variado. Gran lugar!

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Mi experiencia en Casa San Diego Hotel Boutique fue excepcional de principio a fin. Quiero agradecer y reconocer la excelente hospitalidad de todo el personal. Empleados Aimé, Mara, Vianey, Daniel etc muy amables, atentos y profesionales que te hacen sentir como en casa. El hotel está impecable, todo muy limpio y cuidado en cada detalle, desde la habitación hasta las áreas comunes. En los alrededores del hotel puedes encontrar bares , cafeterías, panaderías, restaurantes todos estos de primera calidad son hermosos y muy tranquilos. Sin duda un hotel boutique que recomiendo al 100%. ¡Gracias por una estancia tan especial, esperamos volver pronto!

Al llegar al estacionamiento, no me permitieron el acceso de manera inmediata, a pesar de que ya era aproximadamente las 3:00 de la madrugada. Según me informó el recepcionista del hotel, intentó comunicarse con el velador responsable del estacionamiento, pero éste no respondió las llamadas. Posteriormente, el propio velador manifestó que nunca recibió llamada alguna por parte de recepción. Independientemente de esta falta de coordinación entre ambos, el afectado fui yo, ya que permanecí esperando fuera del estacionamiento durante aproximadamente 20 minutos, en un horario de madrugada, hasta que finalmente me permitieron el acceso.

Il parcheggio ho dovuto aspettare un'ora per avere la mia macchina e non è accettabile, il manager voleva fare uno sconto del 20% che ho rifiutato in alternativa dovevo lasciare la camera per il riborso totale alle ore 23, forse era giusto trovare una mediazione al 50% la ragazza della reception è stata fantastica e attenta, l'attenzione del manager è stata a mio avviso pessima e come mebro Diamante di Hilton e Ambassador di Marriott di solito funziona in un'altro modo, per come la vedo io sono stato impossibilitatao a muovermi per un'ora durante il mio pochissimo tempo libero NON tornerò mai più in questa struttura peccato! colazione appena soddisfacente per una bevanda diversa pagato extra

They really need to step up, they are advertised as a boutique and they are truly not. They do charge as boutique tho! 1. They need a valet parking service asap! It is advertised to include parking but they do not disclose parking is close by and you need to be crossing a very heavy traffic avenue. Now imagine doing that with your luggage on a Sunday because the avenue is closed for cyclists! 2. They made a mistake with elder parents room, they asked us to move rooms on our second day there. We had no issues… mistakes happen but we asked for extra towels and blankets. We ended our stay without them. 3. Overall maintenance. The bathroom walls are moldy, they need to clean properly. The tap for cold water in our shower was stuck and you needed to hold with both hands to move. There is a smell coming out from the drain. The lights in the bathroom are terrible. The towels quality is terrible, super small and cheap. The bathroom products are also very cheap… they could step up here and do a collaboration with a local producer. 4. There is not enough staff in the restaurant and the servers are running around between the tables and the in room service!! This boutique is normally used by people from out of town attending weddings, they have all the chances to be amazing and it’s really just mediocre.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb, aber trotzdem nahe am Zentrum und zu anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Da das Zimmer nicht an der Strasse lag, war es sehr ruhig. Das Bett und die Ausstattung des Zimmers sind sehr gut und komfortabel. Das Frühstück a la Cart ist schmackhaft und reichlich. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Rezeption ist manchmal etwas inkompetent.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2025The location is great! The bed was very comfortable and the food was great. All hotel staff were attentive and Ivan made the most delicious Vampiro drinks! The house is located on los Arcos avenue so I assumed we would hear some traffic in the AM but we did NOT. The walls must be super thick with adobe or cantera because we slept soundly even though we were near the front on the Arcos avenida side. There was a private event in the large terraza one of the days we stayed and you could hear party noise until about 12PM. The terrazas are mostly for private events and are great for celebrating special events.

Lamentable mente en la aplicación se menciona que cuentan con estacionamiento y el hotel no tiene estacionamiento. Yo llame al hotel y también me confirmaron que tenían estacionamiento y no es así. Tuvimos que dejar la camioneta afuera del hotel y nos abrieron la camioneta y dañaron la chapa y el hotel no se hizo responsable de nada perdi mas de $4000 pesos. Definitiva mente si viajas a Morelia en carro este no es el hotel para hospedarte. Ellos cobran por todo que si quieres cancelar te penalizan con el costo de una noche que si pierdes la llave te cobran $300 pero si te abren la camioneta en su hotel no se hacen responsable de nada. Espero que este mensaje sirva para que no le pase a alguien mas otro accidente así.

No tiene nada de hotel boutique más que la ubicación privilegiada. Ojalá pronto tomen cartas en el asunto que cada vez está peor el servicio, limpieza, las toallas super viejas, lastima.

Puntos a mejorar: El agua caliente tarda en salir y se desperdicia mucha agua. El restaurante tarda un poco en dar el servicio. Eso no demerits al hotel, al contrario es un punto para subir de nivel del servicio. Muy recomendable el lugar

Reviewed Jan 29, 2025This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The renovation was literally amazing. It's in one of my favorite neighborhoods. Easy walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Our room exceeded expectations. Bed was comfortable.
The hotel is relatively new, and the staff seems inexperienced - at least some at the front desk. When I went down to ask for ice one evening, the response was, "I'm sorry the restaurant is closed." That is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber and price. This hotel is aiming to be the equivalent of Villa Ganz in Guadalajara, where that sort of thing would NEVER happen. The other problem we had was that the restaurant was hardly functioning. I had to dig around to find someone at the restaurant just to get a bottle of water, which he found at the empty bar. I'm guessing it was a slow time, but that's no excuse for non-existent service, especially given breakfast was included. I went down the first morning just to check - the dining room was empty and the kitchen seemed abadoned.

Reviewed Nov 30, 2023Title: Urgent Warning: Stay Away from Casa San Diego Morelia Hotel – Security Issues Date of Stay: November 21-23, 2023 I am compelled to issue a strong warning against staying at Casa San Diego Morelia Hotel due to a severe security breach during my stay. Security Breach: After checking out, I realized I had left a jewelry bag in my room, containing items of great sentimental value. Despite promptly contacting the hotel, their response was dismissive. The staff, including the manager, claimed nothing was found, which is highly improbable as we had not stopped elsewhere after leaving the hotel. This incident has led me to question the integrity and security practices at this establishment. We have taken the step of filing a police report, and an investigation is ongoing. Conclusion: Given this distressing experience, I cannot recommend Casa San Diego Morelia Hotel. The apparent lack of honesty and security makes it an unsuitable choice for travelers. I strongly advise looking for alternative accommodations to ensure your safety and well-being. Reviewed Jul 12, 2023Wow! Amazing hotel right by the calzada and the acueducto-- one of the most magical places in Morelia. This location has some great restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as so much culture right outside!
There's really not much that we didn't like, if anything at all. The only "complaint" was the volume of the TV but, to be fair, we didn't ask for help figuring it out. It seemed like there might have been some setting to make the volume louder because the loudest setting was pretty low still.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2023Estando en el hotel todo está bien, lo único complejo es el estacionamiento que tienes que estar pidiendo que lo abran, no está integrado al hotel, y el domingo es la calle de la vía recreativa entonces se complica la salida en vehículo porque el Google Maps y waze te mandan a fuerzas por esas calles

Reviewed Apr 9, 2023Su vista con el acueducto es muy interesante. Su cercania con centro historico muy conveniente. Hotel boutique tranquilo. Le falta un area de Spa, una alberca con Bar abierto, estacionamento dentro de la Propiedad. Y el ruido del aire acondicionado dentro de habitación era molesto en momentos. Cuentan con una Propiedad vecina que sin duda sería un gran proyecto para su crecimiento. El personal magnifico. La comida bien.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2023The hotel's location is the best in Morelia. You can enter the hotel through the beautiful paseo San Miguel. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Lovely cafes and bakeries are within a walking distance. The breakfasts are traditional Mexican style (simply amazing). It has a nice, simple bar. The patio is beautiful. The staff members were super friendly and helpful.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2022The rooms looked exactly like the pictures. One of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at.
Internet was spotty at best. Staff tired to help, but not much they could do. Also, could not get any programs to play on the TV. This made for a pretty quiet night.
