Reviewed Oct 24, 2025La ubicación a ciertos puntos de interés es muy buena. El hotel es tranquilo y solo hay que atravesar el callejón del romance para llegar al estacionamiento. En la noche hay restaurantes en dicho callejón y alrededores por lo que se puede caminar por ahí sin problema.
El baño es muy chico y hasta incómodo el WC.

The hotel also has a beautiful yard and roof top terrace. They served a nice breakfast every morning of our stay and did their best to adjust it to our vegan/vegetarian dietary requirements. Reviewed Nov 15, 2024It is always a pleasure to be back in Morelia, be it for work or for leisure. And it is a pleasure to be back in Romance. This is a hidden gem, a few steps away from the buzz of the city centre, but still close enough to enjoy all of Morelia’s vibes: bars, restaurant etc. The rooms are modern, bright and cosy. Everything is very functional and spotless making it easy to relax. I particularly like the kindness of the personnel and the flavours of its generous breakfast. Warmly recommended!

My room is on the ground floor, so in the morning you could hear other guest chit chat at the breakfast. Staffs are very kind and friendly to answer any question.

We felt super safe everyday at all time the front door was locked and you to be buzzed in along with the key to your room key up front with one of the staff. Breakfast was filling and delicious! Such an amazing location close to everything but also at a good distance from traffic. I will definitely stay at Hotel Romance again.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2023Well equipped kitchen, good room service, terrace. Good breakfast, but no variety. The evening receptionist, Yane, was very pleasant and helpful.
The room faced the street and only a few feet separated us from cars, buses and trucks. The room literally shook from the buses and trucks. The noise from these was unbearable, even with the windows closed. Hotel offered complimentary ear plugs which is not a good sign. Very poor ventilation as 2 windows only opened slightly. No ceiling fan anywhere and bedroom had no windows and no air. There was a floor fan, but had to chose if for bedroom or futon. This was a studio suite with a futon. It was really too small to have a futon, even when closed. At night with the futon open, almost impossible to walk around it. Morning receptionist was not very helpful or pleasant. I asked how long it would take to get to the Central de Autobuses in order to gage when to call a taxi and she said she did not know - really?!?!

Reviewed Jun 25, 2023What a lovely and intimate hotel, we reserve the largest room which had windows in the front had a separate bedroom area had a larger bathroom then the other rooms had a little kitchenette. It was very convenient very comfortable for us for our four day. Stay in the morning they prepared breakfast for you with choice and it was delicious and the people serving were such nice people, I would recommend staying there if you’d like a small intimate boutique, personal service and just all-around want to relax and feel like you’re at home but in a hotel setting the Roughgarden was beautiful and we spent quite a few evenings just sitting up there relaxing and drinking not alcohol but you could drinking water and just loving being up there. It was great. The ownership of the hotel actually comes in and was there two or three times that we saw her when we were there and she is just lovely and accommodating and wants to make sure everybody is happy. If you’re in Morelia it’s a great choice.

Blanca cosina delicioso, Yani y Dani super amables, nos hicieron sentir como en casa, nos informaron muy bien en todo. Vhon, el joven del domingo, nos atendió muy bien. Tiene varias cosas que en otros hoteles las estaria uno pagando por aparte. La transportacion al aeropuerto te la proveen a un costo muy razonable, les recomiendo pregunten por Enrique (transporte) un joven amble y paciente. Recomiendo se hospeden en Hotel Romance al visitar Morelia.

Excepto la tasa del baño está pegada a la regadera detal forma que no queda espacio para usarla. Reviewed Feb 19, 2023The staff was helpful and friendly. They originally wanted a bank transfer because we were arriving late. But this was going to be complicated so they allowed us to pay with credit card although we arrived passed 5pm. The reception was very welcoming and friendly.
The room was small but adequate. We are used to not getting the best room in a hotel when we just stay for one night so it was not a problem. The room was clean.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2022The staff is amazing! Claudia, Jesús, Vhon and Yani go above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hotel is very clean, quiet and a great location. We walked everywhere, at all times of thebday and felt very safe. Claudia makes the best breakfast FRESH! chilaquiles, beans and an omelet..yum!! Make sure to try the variety of hot chocolates they have for sale in the café. We can't wait to visit again
