Die Lage und der freundliche Empfang.

Die Unterkunft wurde sehr vorteilhaft fotografiert, dies wurde uns beim betreten des Zimmers bewusst. Die Ausstattung ist sehr spartanisch und der teilweise unangenehme Geruch lässt ein nur schlecht schlafen. Beim Frühstück bekam man erst einen Kaffee nachdem man das Personal Garaus hingewiesen hatte.

Eine super schöne lodge mit tollem Frühstück und super Personal. Sehr ruhig gelegen und gut für trps i den Naturpark. Das Café nebenan ist auch einen Besuch wert!

Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Frühstück und die Lage zum Tsitsikamma NP war sehr gut- ca. 15min mit dem Auto bis Storms River Mouth. Sehr nette war auch das Cafe Tsitrus mit gutem Abendessen gleich nebenan.

Good stay in stormsriver! It is great that it is next to the tsitrus cafe. Breakfast was also fine with a small buffet and some option to choose from the kitchen.

The place was quite noisy. You could heard some noise from other rooms next or above you. Also the bed felt a bit old.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig u. sauber. Hervorheben möchten wir das sehr freundliche Personal am Empfang und beim Frühstücksservice. Um den Tsitsikamma NP zu erkunden, ist der Ort Stormsrivier ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Nettes einfaches Guesthouse mit einem guten Frühstück und dem Charme früherer Jahre. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lage im Ort ist gut, so dass Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar sind. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Kühlschrank. Getränke (Wein, Bier, Soft) konnten vor Ort erworben werden

Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Die Betten sind sehr hart.

Sehr nah am tsitsikamma national Park gelegen. Man hat von dort eine gute Ausgangslage. In Stormsriver ist sonst nicht viel los. Das Personal ist nett. Das Frühstück gut.

Die Zimmer sind schon etwas abgewohnt. Der Abfluss unseres Waschbeckens ist nicht abgeflossen. Der Pool war sehr schmutzig, es war daher auch keiner im Wasser. Preis- Leistung stimmt hier nicht.

Sehr herzliches Personal; leckeres, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Ein paar kleine Restaurants in fussläufiger Entfernung, Canopy Tours auch gleich um die Ecke (sehr zu empfehlen!)

Trotz der Umbuchung in das Nachbarhaus, hat es vollkommen gepasst.

Schöne Unterkunft in einem kleinen Ort. Sehr gut gelegen für Tagesausflüge in den Nationalpark. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und das Frühstück lecker.

Es riecht etwas muffig. Was aber durch lüften nahezu weg war.

Das House hat unsere Erwartungen absolut erfüllt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Personal im Guest House und auch im Restaurant Tsitrus gegenüber, das zum Guesthouse gehört, war immer gut gelaunt, auskunfts- und hilfsbereit.

A lovingly furnished, somewhat a bit outdated accommodation with very friendly staff. A very good starting point for the Tsitsikamma National Park. Watching the baboons from the veranda in the morning was a particular highlight.

Top personeel niets is te veel

Very conveniently located just off the N2 but very quiet. We had a comfortable room in traditional African style, with a terrace looking on to the garden. Breakfast was served in an upstairs terrace with a choice of sitting in sun or shade. There was plenty of choice of fruit, cereal, etc plus a good cooked breakfast. The cafe on the other side of the car park was very convenient and we used it several times for tea, coffee and a couple of dinners. We also enjoyed dinner at the big hotel on the village crossroads.

Unlucky timing for us because the air con wasn’t working in most of the rooms which made sleeping very uncomfortable & we couldn’t have our original room because of insects. To be fair, Yvette got us settled into the alternative room as quickly as she could (it needed to be changed from twin to double). Victor was super helpful too, organising a fan (too noisy to use at night though).

Wonderful stay in this quiet, clean and lovely guest house. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast on the terrace and very close to the National Park entrance. Plus a lovely little restaurant next door. I highly recommend and wish I could have stayed longer!

Die Unterkunft hatte so etwas den Backpacker Charakter, war im Großen und Ganzen aber okay

Tolle Lage um die Gegend um Stormsriver zu erkunden. Die Terrasse zum Frühstück lädt auch dazu ein abends dort zu verweilen. Entspannte Atmosphäre.

Vorsicht vor den Affen: Balkontüre immer verschließen;)

We had a short, one-night stay before an early start the next day. The staff were lovely and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Our room was spacious and clean, and the shower worked well. Breakfast was simple, with eggs, muesli, bread, and croissants. There was no espresso machine, so coffee lovers may want to plan a stop elsewhere. Stormsriver itself is very small, with limited restaurants that close early. We had a pizza just across from the guesthouse. Overall, it was okay for a short stay, and the Tsitsikamma National Park nearby is absolutely stunning.

We stayed in a ground-floor room that had a noticeable old-house smell... not mold, but that “aged” scent you sometimes get. It lingered a bit on clothes left outside, so we were glad we kept most of our belongings in our closed suitcases. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but fine for one night.

Die gesamte Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Achtung vor den Baboons, welche gerne auf dem Dach und auf den Balkonen herum toben.

Die Unterkunft war sehr idyllisch, gute Lage an den NP. ruhige Gegend, man konnte sich problemlos zufuß bewegen, in der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt:) das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen definitiv das Restaurant neben dem Gästehause (die Pizza war sehr gut)

Although our stay was brief, it was a beautiful venue in a central location and we were always made to feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff consistently went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met.

Second time staying and what a wonderful place! From welcoming staff to perfect room, everything was like a dream inside forest. You can also enjoy pool, views from balcony and really great breakfast. Amazing stay and nothing to complain about. Definitely a must on a Garden Route in Tsitsikamma!!! Also highly recommending to go to the cafe from same owners next door - very good wines & pizzas!

Schöne Unterkunft, sehr freundliche Damen die das Guest House und das dazugehörende Restaurant managen und betreuen. Es gab alles, was uns den Aufenthalt angenehm gemacht hat, inkl Wäscheservice und wirklich sehr leckerem Frühstück.

Heerlijke plek midden in het dorp. Restaurant ernaast ook echt een aanrader. Voor ontbijt heerlijk op terras met uitzicht op de bergen gezeten.

It was easy to park at this property. It was also very easy to check in. The guest house is in a great location and it’s easy to walk to the small grocery store in restaurant in town. There is also a little restaurant on the property, however, I did not get the chance to try it.

At night, I noticed that there were a lot of bugs in the room. Not their fault (just beetles, one bee, and some ants). When I checked in, they didn’t have my name right or the right amount of people. When I checked out, the lady asked if I had taken self service beers from the fridge which I hadn’t and seemed surprised when I said I hadn’t.

Die Lage ist optimal um zum NP Tsitsikamma zu kommen. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit (sie haben für uns einen Tisch reserviert, wo ich telefonisch nicht durch gekommen bin!)

Mooi oud landhuis van hout. Grootte kamer, comfy beds, cleaning, swimimgpool. Friendly staff. Easy checkin with already filled-in forms. Nice garden. Good massage.

Zwembad is een beetje oud. Kraanwater was glibberig. Hierdoor ‘gleed’ je uit in de douche.

Nice area, nice room with a balcony. Pool in the garden. Great breakfast and really kind staff. Tsitrus Cafe next to accommodation had good food We enjoyed our stay.

Victor the host was very welcoming and friendly. The ensuite room was a good size with air con and a fridge. The pool terrace is adequate with a few sunbeds and umbrellas. Didn't actually use the pool. Private parking in the forecourt. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were really pleasant and efficient.

The service in the cafe/restaurant which is physically separate to the guest house but linked to it, is dire and the worst we had in 4 weeks in SA. Totally ignored us after we had sat down and had to be chased for menus, order and drinks. Didn't possess an ice bucket for the wine which was just dumped on the table unopened. Food was very average. Go to the Tsitsikamma Village Inn which is 300m away.

Breakfast was very good. Early check in was possible. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean.

Bed was not so comfortable (worn out)- but we were asked before whether we would prever Kingsize instead of double bed. House is very loud due to thin walls and doors. So you can hear everything from e.g. the floor.
