Room service

Staff are non-cooperative. Air-conditioning wasn't cooling. Made several requests to fix but nothing happened. Housekeeping staff didn't clean room in 3 days. I had to eventually approach front office staff who then instructed cleaning, but no bedsheets or pillow covers changed.

Great staff.

Limited items for breakfast. Air conditioning was malfunctioning (either too cold or the opposite).

I would strongly advise others not to stay at this hotel. Our experience was extremely disappointing. We were travelling with children who suffer from allergies, and their symptoms flared up almost immediately after entering the room. The room smelled unpleasant, the beds had blood stains, there were hairs throughout, and the overall condition was poor and in need of repair.(we had 3 rooms which were all at the same condition) When we raised our concerns, staff and management showed little interest in helping. While speaking with Ahmed and his team, they would often begin talking amongst themselves in Arabic during our conversations and, on several occasions, simply walk away mid-discussion without providing any answers or assistance. This made us feel ignored, excluded, and treated disrespectfully. Ahmed in particular was unhelpful, repeatedly disappearing when we tried to explain that our children’s health was being affected. As a result, we had no choice but to leave and pay for alternative accommodation ourselves. We moved to Elif Taba Hotel, where the cleanliness, service, and overall experience were excellent. Even after we left, we received aggressive phone calls from the hotel demanding to know why we had complained and where we had moved to. It was only after we contacted the Ministry of Hajj that the hotel’s attitude changed and they asked us to withdraw our complaint. The Ministry of Hajj, however, was professional, supportive, and instrumental in helping us secure a refund. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. The cleanliness was unacceptable, customer service was poor, and management failed to address serious concerns. I would not recommend this hotel, particularly to families with children or anyone with health concerns.

I love how our room turned out. It was meant to be an accessible room, but the staff assigned it to us. Overall, the room is clean and has a big washroom.

It is near the lift and you can hear the people’s voice passing by.

La proximité avec masjid nabawi

On est arrivé dans la chambre à 22h30 il y avait de l'urine dans les toilettes (la salle de bain n'avait donc pas été nettoyé), il n'y avait pas de serviette de bain à disposition. L'ensemble de la chambre est à refaire, la moquette a fait son temps. Un odeur désagréable se dégage qd on rentre ds la chambre.

Property was over booked and asked me to cancel the booking which I did yet I got charged by booking.com

The staff were good. The Bangladeshi workers very attentive and helpful.

The lifts were inadequate. At busy time it was long queue for the lift. The decor was very outdated. The decor needs updating.

Nothing. It’s absolutely disgusting, poor hygiene and staff are useless. I asked for a refund / cancellation and they did not help at all

The room was smelly, bedsheets had bits on it and not properly cleaned. There was dust everywhere, even on the Quran. Avoid this please, I left next morning and booked another hotel while I still had this place booked I suffered being there. Just go to Maden Al Rawdah and Pullman ZamZam because they’re way more luxurious and better.

Staff are very rude and unhelpful. I requested help with my luggage to be brought down to reception to put in the taxi and yet no one came. Then I was getting late and with difficulty I brought my luggage down to reception and asked for someone to help me take it to taxi and the lady at reception said not my problem and didn’t help or get anyone to help me will not be staying here again. The elevators were also too busy there should be more elevators. But it’s not as bad as the service

The location was good. The breakfast was decent with a good variety of foods. Eggs fried according to your preference. Generally very good.

One of the ladies،Garaam at reception was very rude. As if she was doing us a favour. The first night there was no water on the 13th floor. They asked me to be patient for 30 mins. Its unacceptable.The hotel is not cheap and the description as well as the pics on bookings.com do not match. The water stopped again on the 2nd day. For over 2 hours. The room was tiny. Barely any space to move. The staff do not come to clean the room unless you call them. They wont change the towels unless you ask them to. They wait for you to ask for water. Or toilet roll. Very shoddy service.

The location was excellent, situated less than a five-minute walk from the masjid, making it highly convenient for daily prayers. It was also surrounded by a diverse array of shops and restaurants, including well-known commercial centres such as BinDawood and Taiba Centre shopping malls, which offered a wide variety of products and cuisines.

The bathroom was very small and cramped, making the space feel even more confined. Water was constantly leaking from what appeared to be the sink in room 1011, and the staff were unable to resolve the issue despite multiple requests. The water pressure from the showerhead was poor, resulting in a weak flow. Additionally, the hotel did not offer any ironing facilities for guests. The bed sheets and pillow covers were not completely clean, showing signs of dirt and stains. The wardrobe in room 1011 was completely broken and unusable, rendering it impossible to store clothing properly.

Well the staff was very friendly and helpful... The location was excellent ... The washroom was clean. . the cleaning guys was always there .. the breakfast buffet was available yet with less options and now that great taste....

The carpet was very dusty and worn out... I caught flu and cough from this .. it needs to be replaced ...secondly AC filters need changing ...the water in washroom got finished twice during stay ...the washroom is very small and you have little room to maneuver ... Very less options in buffet.... Taste needs improvement..

It's not a 3-star hotel as they claim it. The lifts are super slow and rushy almost all the time. The bed covers are not clean, and the beds back have a lot of dirt on them. Overall, it wasn't a good experience at all. The pictures of the room showed here a complete opposite of what you get.
