Great location, walkable area to eateries, grocery, cafe, etc. Toiletries provided, breakfast was alright. The rooftop area where breakfast is held was nice.

We were not impressed with this stay. The hotel itself could use some major upgrades, just very run-down, shower was busted, bathroom was very outdated in general. Not very much lighting in the room, the staff was mostly friendly, but we did have a weird interaction with a housekeeper knocking on the door at 6:00 (thankfully we were already awake) and trying to give us a pair of men's shorts, but due to the language barrier she was not understanding that they didn't belong to us, and came into our room to call the front desk... it was very odd. She was adamant that they belonged to us when they did not.

Excellent breakfast with liberal hours, room large and not lacking anything. Wifi excellent, mini fridge in room well stocked.

TV in 1 room didnt work, batteries replaced in remote, and still didnt work. TV in second room, only available for streaming services (not cable or any TV shows), but had Netflix ona hotel account. WIFI good.

Location was a few minutes walk from the Old Quarter, that means quiet streets in the evening. Breakfast has a good selection of food, even have an omelet and Pho station. We booked our Halong Bay tour with the reception, the service they used was very nice with reasonable rates. Check in and out was easy. They kept our luggage for a few hours after checkout.

Nothing that would require a mention.

Elevator and full bottle toiletries. Elegant decor, and small touches such as scissors in room.

Consistency in reception customer service. Some were fabulous, others not so.much.

Easy to get around, they are very generous on shampoo and bath soap, I will definitely stay again when visiting Ha Noi.

Decent location helpful staff at the front desk.

We went out one day for 8 hours and found that the cleaning staff had left our door open all day. All of our belongings were in an unsecured room. Very disturbing. The next day no cleaning. The day after they were there after 6:30 PM when we got home from dinner and had to wait for them to finish outside the room. The last day no cleaning and after 9 PM a staff member knocked on the door asking if we wanted our room cleaned. We were getting ready for bed so declined. The cleaning schedule is a mystery and inconvenient. The unlocked and wide open door to our room is very concerning. Never had that happen before.

The view from the breakfast terrace was nice.

Located right in the heart of downtown Hanoi - the beeps from the traffic going by were definitely something that we had to get used to.

Extrely good value for money. The hotel is old and a bit worn out, breakfast is fine and the staff very nice. The rooms even offer toothbruch, shaving gear and other things for free. Its placed perfectly just outside the old city

False advertising the staff are all polite but the rooms are tiny dated and door not good

I asked none smoking room. But the room have bad smell smoke.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. For the price charged, it is a reasonable deal. I gave it 3/5 because we saw a cockroach in the room. Also, they didn’t have breakfast 1 day and told us to order in the room. The whole order was wrong, food was cold, and it was not satisfying. The other 2 days, breakfast was nice and simple.

제 방만 그랬을지 모르겠지만 엘리베이터 옆 방이라 그런지 오지게 씨끄시끄러웠어요. 복도에서 말하는 사람 딕션이 그대로 문을 뚫고 들어옵니다. 8시-10시 사이에 청소아주머니들이 오나봐요. 이분들 말 드럽게 많습니다. Hㅏ.. 방이랑 방 사이 소음은 별로 안 나요. 복도에서 떠들면 그게 그대로 귀에 꽂힐 뿐 나머지는 마음에 듭니다^^ 근데 화장실 샤워기나 수건걸이가 왜그렇게 높이 있는지 모르겠어요. 샤워기가 구려서 물줄기가 한 방향으로 나오지 않습니다. 위치가 짱 좋아요. 리셉션도 친절합니다. 새벽 3시에 도착했는데 로비 불이 꺼져있어서 당황했지만 리셉션 바닥에서 주무시고 계시더라고요.

洗面に残った甘味のあるジュース類を流したら、どこからともなく蟻が…流石がにドン引き… 同じことが最上階のレストランでも、テーブルに蟻がたかってました。 シャワーブースの汚さなんかも考えると、もう… 久しぶりに泊まりましたが、色々と目につきました。 それと団体客が多く、私が滞在中は夜中まで、うるさい事が多かったです。

everything good, carpet in room had moldy smell. Wife was good.

正直水周りは･･･あとは団体の中国系が声が大きくうるさい。値段を考えると仕方ない所も有りますが、ちょっとというところもあるので改善して貰えればと思います。更なる改善を期待していす。･･･････････････････････････････････････

Just stayed for a week at the Santa Barbara hotel. The hotel is just north of the Old Quarter, about a 20 min casual stroll from the north end of Hoam Kiem lake. We are a family of four and were very comfortable in a 'family room' with three single beds (2 of these are king singles and my wife and I had no trouble sleeping in one). The room faced Hung Bun and was quiet - the sound insulation in the hotel is very effective. The restaurant downstairs is casual and relaxing, food and staff were great. The menu is Western style so we generally ate breakfast there (good Pho) and ate elsewhere for other meals, but we had several lunch or evening meals there all of which were very reasonably priced and yummy. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Language was no problem for non-Vietnamese speakers. Plenty of power-points, good TV, good aircon, plenty of fresh bedding and towels. Laundry service was efficient and inexpensive, mini-bar was great and inexpensive. There was no iron in the room but I am sure we could have had one if we had asked. There were renovations going on during our stay so I am sure the facilities will continue to improve.
