Ice Kamala Beach Hotel

Уютный маленький отель под управлением дружной тайской семьи. Номерной фонд старенький, но чистый. Персонал очень дружелюбный и всегда готов прийти на помощь. Хорошие завтраки, удобное местоположение (до моря минут 5 пешком), нам также понравился вид с балкона (на 4 этаже).

Once booked, the communication with the hotel was excellent. The room itself was very clean, with nice towel art on the bed. Air conditioning was efficient. Short walk to the beach, 7/11 and local bars. Massages available right beside. Also, scooter rentals are on-site.

The only issue was the mattress. It was way too hard and lumpy, but only on the left side... the right side was firm, but much better. Also, the pillows were very firm. Fix the mattress and the pillows, and I give it a 10.

hotel is located in a good location. short walk to the beach and lots of shops and cafes near by. Ice is super friendly i have stayed before and she remembered me and was very helpful though-out my stay. the room was large and daily cleaning available

Sehr freundliches und herzliches Personal. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Auch das Restaurant bzw. das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

A nice place to stay! The highlight for me was the balcony - quiet, cool, and a perfect spot to relax after a day out. The beach is just a short walk away, and everything you might need is within easy walking distance, which makes it very convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi — the connection was quite poor and a bit frustrating at times. Hopefully that gets sorted out, as everything else about this place was really lovely!

Convenient location , friendly staff

Bathroom was not in a good condition and should have been advertised as such. The filet could not flush so they recommended placing the toilet paper in the bin. The towels didn’t appear fresh. The shower and overall bath didn’t appear as clean.

Le personnel était très gentil! Nous avons pu faire un Check in tardif à cause de l’avion et c’était top. Merci encore. La chambre est un peu vétuste mais conforme aux photos, nous avons tres bien dormi ! Sans entendre la route. La vue était très sympa avec le balcon. Le petit dej était top.

Au 4etage, il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et les marches sont très raides, avec les bagages, ça peut être contraignant. La piscine n’a que le nom, elle est dans un hall d’hôtel, avec zéro accès direct de soleil, en face d’un parking à scooters. Très atypique. Le rapport qualité/prix reste élevé tout de même.

Un des rares points positifs est l'emplacement de l'hôtel, plutôt proche de la plage et dans une rue animée. On peut également souligner le calme dans les chambres.

Je suis particulièrement étonné des nombreux avis positifs sur cet établissement. Le rapport qualité/prix est très médiocre (98€ la nuit avec petit-déjeuner, c'est très cher payé pour ce logement, même en haute saison). A ce prix je m'attendais clairement à quelque chose de bien mieux. La chambre, bien que spacieuse, dispose d'un mobilier ancien qui mériterait clairement d'être rénové. Aucune vue depuis le balcon si ce n'est un vis-à-vis avec le bâtiment d'en face et une vue sur des toits en tôle. Ce qui m'a laissé sans voix est clairement le petit-déjeuner qui était catastrophique : aucun buffet digne de ce nom, vous arrivez, on vous sert soit des œufs brouillés ou une omelette, avec 2 petites tranches de toast. Le jus (à base de sirop) est infecte. Vous n'avez à disposition que du café, des céréales, quelques pots de yaourt et un peu de confiture. Le miel est jalousement gardé et il faut le demander pour en avoir un tout petit peu. Tout est servi au compte-goutte. On vous met une petite assiette de fruits (quelques petites tranches d'ananas et de pastèque) et vous vous faites fusiller du regard par la responsable si vous avez l'outrecuidance de vous servir de nouveau. Cette même personne qui passe d'ailleurs son temps à regarder ce que vous mangez et combien de fois vous vous êtes resservi. Heureusement que l'employée qui vous sert est beaucoup plus agréable. À ce prix, allez manger dehors, votre portefeuille et votre panse vous diront merci.

The entire hotel, it was spotless and Ice was very kind and helpful

El chico nos ayudó al principio con nuestro equipaje, lo agradecimos muchonporque estabamos en el segundo piso. No hay ascensor. La habitacion tenia mucho espacio y la cama era gigante. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfecto. Nos cambiaban las toallas si lonpediamos y nos regalaron botellas de agua.

En general estuvimos a gusto. El agua de la piscina estaba fría porque la piscina esta siempre en la sombra.

A bit to basic for my liking, shower wasn't great after a day at the beach. A little noisy at nighttime

Hotel usytuowany w niedalekiej odległości od plaży Kamala, pokoje były bardzo przestronne, czyste. Śniadanie serwowane do stolika po wyborze z menu, bez szału ale smaczne. Basen był, ale ze względu na jego położenie, dosłownie przy wejściu do hotelu nie widziałem żeby ktoś z niego korzystał, Personel hotelu bardzo miły i uczynny.

La chambre en rdc enclavée avec une terrasse vu sur un mur du bâtiment... Donc pas de soleil. Une piscine dans le hall d'entrée qui n'a pas d'utilité mise à part pour se rafraîchir. Après, ce ne sont que des détails qui peuvent ne pas convenir à certains.

staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect with restaurants everywhere and the beach a 2 minute walk.

The pool was literally in the lobby so no-where outside to sit and relax.

Posizione comoda a due passi dalla spiaggia dove c’è un bel lungomare pedonale con ristoranti e bar. Si affaccia sulla strada ma le camere sono all’interno e quindi silenziose. Seconda volta in Thailandia dopo14 anni abbiamo scelto ancora Ice kamala beach hotel e siamo stati contenti. La famiglia è molto disponibile e gentile. Possibilità di noleggio scooter, camera molto ampia con pulizia giornaliera. La stanza 201 é per noi il top. Luminosa e vista giardino e solo una rampa di scala. Colazione essenziale ma completa e preparata al momento.consigliato . Ci tornerei !

Es war wirklich sehr sehr sauber und die Familie wirkt sehr nett.

Die Klima war sehr laut und das Frühstück war sehr einfach. Meiner Frau war das Bett zu hart. Die Einrichtung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Замечательный небольшой семейный отель. Очень доброжелательные, услужливые хозяева. Останавливаемся у них уже 4-й раз.

В течении нескольких дней были проблемы с водой - завоздушилась система, но в итоге все починили. Других проблем не было

We had a lovely stay in the Ice Kamala Beach Hotel. The location is very handy for the beach, nice restaurants nearby, and beach restaurants too. The staff was very helpful and warm friendly, she helped us to book a very reasonable whole day tour of phi phi Island. Any questions we asked were helped. We definitely recommend this place if you want to have a pleasant experience in Kamala Beach.

We felt fooled when we saw the pool since it’s inside next to the reception and the street. We found the pillows too hard and bad lightning in the room. A small lamp on the bedside table would have been nice. The room was ok but not more than that. Overall, we didn’t think it was worth the price.

The location is great. The rooms are very spacious and staff were very helpful and friendly.

The rooms on the ground floor were very dark and although the property has a swimming pool, I wouldn’t consider it a feature, as it’s closed in at the entrance of the property, so not really somewhere to sunbathe and relax.

Семейный отель, очень добрые люди, вопросы решаются быстро, хорошая уборка и удобная кровать. Расположение 5мин до пляжа, до супермаркета, есть рядом обмен валют и много кафе. При этом не было шума с улицы, в целом рекомендую отель.

Была проблема с шумом от водяного насоса в номере, мы жили на 4 этаже. При обращении нам сменили номер, это почти решило вопрос. Но чувствительным людям к вибрации и шуму, могут не подойти номера на 4 этаже, если отель не решил вопрос.

Localisation parfaite pour profiter de Kamala. Staff très gentil, chambre spacieuse et lit grand et confortable. Hôtel simple mais pratique pour un séjour à deux.

Hôtel assez humide, la Clim peut être un peu bruyante mais si on la règle bien on s’y fait.

Property is well located to beach, bars and restaurants, just a couple of minutes walk to everything. Very clean and well maintained,big room, huge bed,staff were amazing!

The stairs!!! This definitely would not put me off booking again though! But not a hotel if stairs are an issue for you!

Balkon Aussicht war gegen eine Wand, Zimmer war nicht der fotos entsprechend, Schranktür lässt sich kaum öffnen. Der ,,Innenpool” überhaupt nicht einladend, denn jeder von der Straße Zugang hat und direkt neben dem Pool Motorroller parken…

Ariya war unglaublich freundlich. Einen Tag vor Ankunft bin ich hingefallen und habe gefragt in welcher Etage unser Zimmer ist. Als ich zurück Zeit später die Antwort erhielt dass wir in der 4. Etage (ohne Aufzug)untergebracht sind, habe ich ihr von meinem Unfall erzählt und gefragt ob wir evtl ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss oder erste Etage haben können. Sie hat ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss ermöglicht. Das Zimmer hat uns jedoch nicht gefallen. Als wir ihr dies gesagt haben, hat sie erneut geschaut und uns angeboten am nächsten Tag, ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss, umzuziehen. Unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Hotel ICE Kamala Beach empfehlen.
