the owner was so kind and helpful throughout my whole stay. as a solo traveler, he made sure to give me all his top recommendations and made sure i was comfortable in my room.

Bon, the hotel.mamager, is an excellent host, he ensured that my entire trip was trouble free, and his recommendations for local services was spot on!

Bon pomógł nam w wielu sytuacjach, również dzięki jego rekomendacjom trafiliśmy do restauracji Nana Kitchen, gdzie jedliśmy absolutnie najlepsze dania podczas całego 3-tygodniowego pobytu w Tajlandii. Czystość- zdecydowanie najwyższy poziom. Pozostałe hotele, w których się zatrzymaliśmy podczas podróży, powinny brać przykład. Läget var perfekt. Mr Bon som tog emot var hjälpsam, trevlig och hade tips på restauranger i närområdet. Vi bodde i rum med pool i anslutning. Välstädat!

Inget då vi visste att de inte serverade frukost. Bageri i närheten med olika frukostmenyer.

1. Администратор отеля - сама любезность и доброжелательность. Он искренне рад помочь и услужить. Очень приятно. Чемоданы с готовностью и поднял на 2 этаж и спустил. 2. Чистые просторные номера с балконом. 3. Во дворе небольшой бассейн.

До пляжа минут 8. Надо перейти оживленную трассу. Но это мелочь.

We loved our stay! The room was very clean and was actually better than the photos. A huge thanks to the owner/receptionist who was so welcoming and helpful with recommendations for the area and providing excellent service.

You have to cross a very busy main road to reach the beach and most of the restaurants. Also, the pool area is in the shadow most day and, but it didn't bother us as we were prepared for it.

Great location near shops but only a 8min walk to the lovely sandy beach. Property was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, beach towels supplied as was tea/coffee & water. We had a great balcony with a lovely view. Ben our host was polite, helpful & knowledgeable. Property modern well decorated & you felt very safe. Perfect stay for us.

Everything was great, yes there were stairs to our room as we were on the 3rd floor but it was our bit of fitness & wasn’t a problem for us.

Stanza bella (avevamo quella a bordo piscina), pulitissima e posizione ottima. Se dovessimo capitare da queste parti torneremo sicuramente!

Ho alloggiato qui per 4 giorni, camera con vista sulla piscina dotata di bagno privato e angolo cottura. La struttura è nuova, pulita e dotata di ogni confort. A 10 minuti a piedi dal mare e vicino a supermercati,atm e farmacie e altri servizi. Il plus della struttura è Ben, host gentilissimo disponibile, molto premuroso e attento alle esigenze dei suoi ospiti. Ti fa sentire come a casa tua. Pronto a consigliarti e ad aiutarti su qualsiasi cosa. Consiglio assolutamente di soggiornare qua!

Staff was extra helpful. Even helped with carrying the luggage to the 1st floor, as there was no lift. Location: Place is very close to supermarkets and restaurants. Beach is walking distance.

Drinking water provided was not enough. Could take some more green / sustainable methods, like reducing plastic

My stay at this hotel was simply wonderful. I spent a week here and from the very first moment I was only positively surprised. The hotel is clean, well-maintained and even though it is centrally located, it offers a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere without any noise. The room was spacious and spotless, the bathroom large and comfortable, everything was at the highest level — quiet air conditioning, a balcony and daily room service. A very special thank you to the host, Mr. Bon — such a warm, kind and helpful person who truly cares about his guests and their comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and would love to come back.

The service from Bon, the hotel manager, was first class. Bon made sure I was up at 5AM for my flight. That was beyond the call of duty!

Place was amazing. Better than the photos! Bed and pillows were so comfortable, location amazing. Peaceful and quiet. Staff were so helpful and always ready to help. Had everything we needed. Staff let us stay in the room longer than needed on day of check out which was a huge help. Could recommend more!

Bardzo przyjemny pobyt. Gospodarz wyjątkowo miły i bardzo opiekuńczy. Pokoje czyste i dosyć duże. Do plaży jakieś 10 min spacerkiem. Fajne tez jest to, że hotel znajduje się blisko, ale nie przy głównej ulicy, dzięki czemu mniej słychać hałas.

We loved everything about The Umbrella House! Our room opened straight to the pool – a little green oasis, calm and beautiful. Spotless room, perfect location close to the beach and cafes, yet so peaceful. And Ben… the kindest host ever, with amazing local tips. We’ll definitely be back!

Mr Bon was exceptional! Thank you so very much. From greeting me for check in very late at night after a long flight with a welcome juice drink, to being there very early on my last day for my checkout, I felt so looked after! Room was a great size, too.

Virkelig en lille perle i Kamala - meget mere hyggeligt end de kæmpe resorts. Du har poolen for dig selv næsten, og Bon (værten) er så flink til at hjælpe ved selv det mindste. Han gav os også nogle gode anbefalinger til steder at spise, transport mv. Værelset var fint, ikke noget særligt, og med en fin lille altan. Forvent en del trafikstøj.

Everything.The rooms were very spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped.The beds and pillows very comfy. Beach only 10 min walk. We loved the restaurants that our host recommended-Nana and Spring Leaf.We eat every single day in Nana's-tried the whole menu and every single dish was amazing. Wish to single out the reception staff, especially Bon,who was the kindest and so well rounded person we met in Thailand and contributed for our stay to be so smooth and comfortable. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we hope to return in this wonderful hotel.

Mr Bon was so helpful and lovely the entire stay! We had the room next to the pool which we loved. The main strip and beach are very close but the hotel is still very peaceful and close to many great restaurants.

Great location, less than 10 min walk to beach, near tons of restaurants. Mr Bon is awesome, made some excellent recommendations to eat. The bed, sheets, pillow and room was super comfortable! Balcony a plus. Great value for the area.

The traffic noise was horrendous we didn't get much sleep and we had earplugs in so you must take earplugs

Bon was so helpful - on our first day, we took a Grab car from the airport to Umbrella House and I accidentally chose the option to pay with cash instead of credit card - we hadn't exchanged any cash for Thai Baht yet, and our driver didn't speak any English - thankfully Bon stepped in, was able to translate for us, and lent us about 1,000 baht to cover our bill on the spot. Bon was also able to recommend great local restaurants and food, and also gave us a recommendation for a motorbike rental store we really liked. The property is also really beautiful - the pool is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious and very clean and modern. The bed was plush and we enjoyed our little balcony too. Would strongly recommend!

Everything was 10 out of 10💯, the room is very big and clean, has provided almost every you would need, and also very modernized. And Mr. Bon the landlord is just so kind and helpful. During my stay I met some issues with my next accommodation. And he tried to help in every possible way. I would definitely revisit next time I’m in Kamala.🫶

Close to the hubbub of kamala beach, but tucked away on a quiet street. It was safe and clean. The host was very helpful, polite and genuinely sincere. Would recommend. If I were to return to Kamala Beach I would stay at the Umbrella House again.

A nice, small hotel with the essentials. We lived on the 3th floor, only stairs so know this if you book. The location was good. It’s hidden in the back of the main road. Close to the beach, a 10 min walk. You have to cross the main road, but it’s a crossroads with lights, so when one lane has green the other one has red. So you can cross the road in two rounds. “Bon” who worked/owned the hotel was really nice and helpful. He had printed a small map on a paper and gave us recommendations. We tried the Supparat restaurant that he recommended, and the food was great. I wish I didn’t get so full so fast. We asked if we could extend our stay with one night and Bon helped us with this. Overall it was nice stay and good to start our travels in Kamala, only 30-40 min away from the airport. Longer with traffic and it was when we arrived around 18:00 at the airport. Ignore the messy photos, I took them right before we had to check out. So it’s our mess. :)

Everything was really good at the hotel. The only “complaint” I have is that it is located near the main road. So you hear the traffic at night. A restaurant/bar Devils bar Kamala is located across the main road and they are open until 02:00 so you hear the music. But this isn’t the hotels fault. If you want to have close to some things, this is what you get.

A sweet little hotel at the end of a quieter street of the main rush. Mr. Bon greets you with a smile and continues to help and give great advice throughout your stay. Comfortable bed and nice shower. You may hear the Main Street but it doesn’t affect the comfort. Lovely little pool and great restaurants in the area. Beach is a 10 minute walk. Many scooter rentals as well in the area. Excellent stay!

The hotel was super clean and modern, with a really nice room. The shower was amazing ,good air-conditioning and Tv, comfortable bed , little kitchen area with a fridge and nice balcony.It had everything I needed.Only about 10 min walk to the beach ,situated just behind the main road next to different shops and bars ,7 eleven and markets. Host Mr Bon was fantastic ,tried to help with everything, and gave recommendations about places to eat and location for markets, etc I had a great stay.

The room was large and clean. There is a nice pool outside. Bon was the most supportive and helpful staff we have ever met. He recommended us many good places and even help us any time we need.

Our stay at the Umbrella House was perfect. We felt immediately at home when we checked in with Mr. Bon. We were offered a welcome drink at the check in. Mr. Bon went the extra mile to help us with everything we need: he gave us a map where he marked his recommendations. We tried them and they were great. He even helped us finding a good place that rents scooters. At our last day, Mr. Bon helped us talk to the taxi driver and even waved us goodbye. We were so happy that we stayed at the Umbrella House and we can only highly recommend it to anybody. The price-value ratio is unbeatable.

Everything was simple perfect! Bon was always very attentive to me, very helpful for any needs. It's difficult to ask more. 10 minutes far by walk from the beach. Cleanliness was super! My husband and I really liked the hotel manager, Mr. Bom. He was exceptionally helpful, helping us with the luggage, showing us the details of the room, giving us advice on how to best get around, where the markets are, etc. The hotel is very clean and the pool quite refreshing. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

It was a bit noisy in the morning as the street noise does reach the upper floors. But with balcony doors closed, not a deterrent.

Everything, stylish, spacious, modern, immaculate. Large bathroom with big walk in shower. Large fridge & useful sink/kitchen area for longer stays.Bed was comfortable & pillows were fabulous. Beach/pool towels provided. Stayed in the ground floor room with direct access to the pool, great for cooling off & not designed for lounging around. Beach c10/15 walk away. Mr Bon at reception was fantastic, giving advice on restaurants, taxis etc & helped us with domestic flight check in issue. Very genuine guy😀

Nothing - minor point though. maybe better signage on main rd to get to property. It is tucked in just off busy main rd & was a little tricky to find.

A lovely boutique guest house, extremely clean room and bathroom, very comfortable overall. Manager Bon goes above and beyond to assist with anything you need. He gave us good recommendations for restaurants which we tried including Green Leaf which was excellent local food.

A little road noise but that can’t be changed as the location is so central.

Where do I start? This was such a wonderful experience that left me wanting to move to Kamala. Bon was our contact during our stay and he couldn’t have made our experience better. The hotel is located 10-15 mins by foot to the beach and surrounded by restaurants and shops. It is very clean, quiet and has a pool. I felt very at home. We enjoyed many wonderful days and nights in Kamala and Bon ensured we had a wonderful stay, he accommodated our every need and went above and beyond. His recommendations on where to eat, visit and enjoy the nightlife were brilliant. He arranged our trips, inclusive of ferries and minibus transfers. Above all he was just a lovely person and very genuine. This place is highly recommended and we will be returning next year.
