Struttura molto datata e poco curata. La camera era sporca e le lenzuola tutte bucate .

Almost every thing, just a 2 minute walk from my favourite pub and restaurant Reasonable selection on the menu, nice big open restaurant, good sized pool, right on the beach, garden with a couple of hammocks for a lazy day, staff efficient and pleasant. All in all definitely a good value hotel

My experience with its hospitality was excellent, comfortable rooms, good food, and excellent location. The staff go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and well cared for. I highly recommended it.

Nous avons retrouvé Topaz comme nous l'avions apprécié la derniére fois. Lhôtel est très bien tenu, le personnel est vraiment attentif pour notre confort. La piscine est un plus. La proximité de la plage ( propre ) un grand avantage. Le rapport qualité/prix très correct.

Le manque de visiteurs modifie les prestations, le petit déjeuner est un peu sucsint . Les plats froids ( nouilles) et le café ou thé poudre . Mais la période est difficile. Moins de 10 clients durant les 4 premiers jours. Cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir , nous préférons des lieux simples et acceuillants à des prestations surfaîtes. Merci à toute l'équipe.

The restaurant staff were accommodating despite what was on offer. The staff were as accommodating as the facilities & management allowed.

The whole experience was very disappointing. I would not stay again.

Dated, dirty & disappointing .

Nice pool. Reasonable breakfast. Helpful staff. But unfortunately poor facilities in room. Not clean smelly toilet, creaky bed, noisy aircon. No tea or coffee just a kettle. Only one pillow each and very discoloured. Grubby generally.

La proximité de la plage, le petit déjeuner, proche de la ville pour faire des courses. La direction au généreusement acceptée, que l'on quitte la chambre à quatorze heures au lieu de midi, sans payer.

La douche est dans un état sanitaire lamentable, robinetrie, complètement oxydée, de plus malgré une chambre luxe, la direction a refusé de nous donner du shampoing. Ou du jet douche, il a fallu que l'on l'achète. Et nous ont dit que notre chambre était pas. Haut de gamme. La piscine est mal entretenue l'eau et flou est douteuse. Quand j'ai regardé le système de filtration il n'y avait pas d'injection de chlore, c'est un simple filtre à sable Il y a que dix transats pour trente chambres. Les matelas de transat sont sales, les serviettes de plage. Ont une trentaine d'années, les chambres ont vraiment besoin d'une réflexion. Elles sont d'un autre temps. Le matelas aurait besoin d'échanger une date d'un autre siècle.

Die Lage: Das Hotel liegt gleich neben Negombo Beach Park und in der Nähe sind viele Restaurants und Geschäfte. Die Aussicht aufs Meer vom Balkon ist großartig. Dadurch dass das Hotel eher klein ist, ist man unmittelbar am Strand und im Geschehen, bei größeren Hotels war mehr Distanz. Das Personal ist bemüht und freundlich, aber man muss schon viel seine Wünsche bzw Bedürfnise kommunizieren, dann wird der Aufenthalt aber auch gut. Frühstück war ausreichend, statt dem recht künstlichen Joghurt wäre der Sri Lankan Buffalo Curd fein und statt dem Zuckersirup, wäre echter Kithul Treacle toll, ist vielleicht aber auch eine Kostensache. Pool war sauber und von angenehmer Größe. Gleich neben dem Hotel am Strand ist ein sehr leckeres Restaurant.

Die Sauberkeit ist verbesserungsdürftig. Die Zimmer werden nur geputzt wenn man die Schlüssel an der Rezeption abgibt, dass muss man erst rausfinden... Beim Pool sind die Liegen ab und zu knapp.

Topaz Beach Hotel has extraordinary employees, all of them are very kind, nice, always ready to help and advise, specialy the Manager who always takes time for every guest even when she is very bussy. You can feel that she is living for hotel's guests. The food was very good, hotel is clean, the location is top, on the beach, and has also a swimming pool. The beach front is sandy and the waves of the Indian ocean are calm enough in the morning, so you can take a swimm there. The wiev from the hotel to the Indian ocean trhrough the palm trees over the sandy beach is splendid and the sunset is unforgetible.

My husband and me could't find anthing what we supose to not like.

Hotel was tired No fridge in room. No coffee facilities in room. We arrived at 10.30 after a long flight they made us wait till 2 to get in room for no good reason as hotel was not full.

Le Topaz Beach Hotel mérite mieux que sa note : notre séjour y a été très agréable, avec plage, chambre confortable et calme, personnel sympathique et un tarif raisonnable pour un hébergement de qualité.

The location is fantastic. Hotel staff was very kind and accomodating. Especially Prasad & the whole team. The hotel has that 80's charm and you can expect a bit of bugs life but nothing too bad. The furniture has that rustic feel and the views from the balcony are a good vibe. Especially the sun rises and sunsets. Breakfast is simple but, wholesome and yummy.

The unexpected visitors from bugs life. Not too much of a bother but would be nice if they didn't exist. The bathrooms need a bit of an update, they're clean but a bit old.

Location.

Bathroom was dirty, no toiletries (as advertised for the room we paid for). No hot water in the morning. Hotel staff allowing an idiot to keep letting off fireworks constantly, could hear them 100 meters away in another bar. Hotel needs a good makeover.

Das einzig Gute am Hotel ist die Lage.

Leider können wir dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Für uns ist nicht nachvollziehbar, wie es zu einer 3-Sterne-Bewertung kommt. Das gesamte Haus wirkt stark in die Jahre gekommen und wenig gepflegt – im Flur lief sogar eine Kakerlake. Beim Betreten des Zimmers hatte man sofort den Wunsch, es wieder zu verlassen. Besonders das Badezimmer war in einem Zustand, in dem man sich kaum aufhalten, geschweige denn duschen wollte.

Le personnel est adorable. Les chambres sont vétustes mais le mobilier en bois et la simplicité sont charmants. Le rapport qualité prix pourrait être meilleur, le restaurant est un peu cher , 1000 rp pour un jus de citron, un peu trop cher pour le lieu.

Good value considering prices in the area, but a bit pricey compared to more southern beach hotels

The position of the hotel right on the beach with a pool was fabulous. The staff were polite and helpful.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The hotel is dated and in need of renovation. Some rooms have been upgraded but others need to upgrade such things as floors,lighting,mirrors and deep cleaning

The staff were extremely helpful with arranging a driver for us and making suggestions of where to go in Negombo. The hotel is great value and located right on the beach with a decent fairly small pool.

Location is the best of this stay. Nice view from the room. They gave us late check out when we asked and kept our luggage after check out. Nice breakfast also.

It was dirty, very outdated and not worth the money. We were placed at the beginning in a very outdated room. Nothing like the pictures on booking... Then I asked to be changed and we were placed in a slightly better room. There was a smell of chemical because they have cockroaches and we did find one in the bathroom! The matrisse is very old and so is everything in the room.

Right on the beach, staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Rooms are very clean & comfortable. Decor is a little tired and internet very erratic and intermittent. Included breakfast on the beachside terrace limited but very filling, instant coffee but must have tasted ok a I had 3 both mornings.

Très joli jardin avec piscine, donnant directement sur la plage. Spa avec un massage excellent.

L’intérieur des chambres est un peu spartiate, les draps ne recouvraient pas le matelas qui était assez ancien.

Great location.

Edullinen hinta, ranta ja uima-allas olivat syy valita tämä hotelli. Sain vastinetta rahalle. Altaalla oli mukava rentoutua päivä.

Kylppärissä oli vähän homeinen tuoksu ja vedenpaine suihkussa olematon. Mutta, yhden yön majoituksessa tämä ei haitannut.

Wydaje się że jedynym plusem hotelu jest jego lokalizacja. Obsługa w miarę pomocna.

W hotelu jest brudno a same pokoje zdecydowanie nadają się do gruntowego remontu. Spora ilość grzyba na ścianach i sufitach. W pokoju razem z nami mieszkała ogromna ilość mrówek. Śniadania bardzo słabe.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in over the past year, in terms of location, amenities, modern features, and customer service. The room was tastefully and ergonomically decorated. The room was also very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, a table, chairs, and a desk—generally, plenty of space. Everything was as advertised. In fact, even better. And the gentlemen at the front desk, Miracle Men Perasana, T. Ajanthan! They took great care of us all, providing something for everyone. Lavish breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. A huge selection of dishes and delicious coffee. A stunning ocean view. We will definitely return to this hotel again. Value for money - 10 points. Everything is perfect. We recommend this hotel because it's worth it!

La ubicación esta bien.

Cuando llegamos nos dieron una habitación en muy mal estado, olor a humedad, sabanas y colchón sucio. En general mal. Luego nos cambiaron a otra un poco "mejor" pero nada del otro mundo. La piscina el primer dia no estaba limpia y nos dijeron que al dia siguiente estaria bien para usarla. Estuvimos tres dias y la piscina seguia igual.

Stayed here for 19 days and it was fantastic! Lovely pool, clean rooms, and excellent service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You don't have to ask for anything; everything is taken care of automatically. Water, clean towels, etc., all provided daily without asking. The breakfast was also excellent; English or local, everything is possible.

Tout ou presque tout

Les repas et petits déjeuners sont trop légers . Trop peu de fruits coupés , pas de vrai jus de fruits frais.Alors que les fruits au Sri Lanka sont nombreux et délicieux . Pas de galette , ou autres. Un œuf au Plat et non deux sinon le deuxième est facturé. Le café n'est pas du vrai café , dose trop faible a filtrer . Pas de pain Sri Lankaise mais du pain de mie sans goût . Les petits déjeuners sont les repas les plus importants de la journée . Et vraiment j'en ai manqué. C'est pour moi le seul point noir a vraiment améliorer. Quant à l'attente pour être servi,elle est intenable Surtout le soir des que 3 ou 4 tables sont à servir. Vraiment dommageable car le personnel est adorable ainsi que les responsables . La piscine est super propre , et grande ,le lieu est très agréable ,les chambres lorsqu'il n'y a pas d'odeur d'égout sont agréables et spacieuses

Absolut Laute Umgebung. Öffentlicher, gut besuchte Strand. Zum Erholung eher schlecht geeignet, zum Übernachten und weiter fahren ist ok. Das hotel - Zimmer, brauchen dringend renoviert werden.
