The cleanliness and the staff were very nice

The staff were so accommodating and warm. Every morning Murat would make me tea. Murat found the perfect balance between being friendly, kind and personal whilst maintaining professionalism. If it was not for the staff of Zem hotel i would have left Istanbul sooner but I felt so comfortable and happy here

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Sultanahmet. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff and management were very helpful and friendly. They were always ready to assist us whenever we needed anything. There was also complimentary coffee and tea available at the reception, which was a nice touch. The hotel staff helped us with transportation arrangements, including transfers to and from the airport, which made our stay much easier. The location is excellent, as the hotel is very close to the main historical and tourist attractions in Sultanahmet. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Очень классный отель. Месторасположение супер, магазинчики в полуминутной доступности. Очень вежливый персонал, очень, очень, знают русский, отвечают на все вопросы. Минут 10 агору и весь транспорт, до площади минут 10-15 пешком. Вокруг отеля множество разных мини ресторанов, кафешек. Холодная вода, горячая вода, чай и кофе бесплатно

We could not sleep: The curtains did not block the sunlight at all, making it extremely difficult to sleep in the room. Very loud Azan/noise: The sound from the Azan was extremely loud, and there was no adequate sound insulation or noise cancellation in the room. Toilet was not functioning properly: The toilet had a serious problem — the water would either not drain properly or would not stop running. Difficult location for an elderly guest: The hotel is located on a steep hill, which was extremely difficult for my elderly mother to climb. This made accessing the hotel very challenging for her. Very poor internet: The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unreliable, to the point that we had to use mobile 3G data throughout our stay. Unable to sleep or stay comfortably: We could not sleep for more than approximately two hours in the room due to these conditions. Because of all these issues, we had no choice but to book another hotel during the night and check out of Zem Hotel the same night. We therefore did not receive the basic level of accommodation and comfort that we reasonably expected from our booking.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Die Lage ist einer der größten Pluspunkte. Das Hotel befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten von der Metro entfernt, wodurch man schnell und bequem alle wichtigen Ziele erreichen kann. Mit der Metro sind Supermärkte, Restaurants und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar. Außerdem haben wir uns in der Umgebung jederzeit sicher gefühlt. Das gesamte Personal war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Mitarbeiter sehr gut Englisch sprechen, wodurch die Kommunikation jederzeit problemlos möglich war. Auch die Sauberkeit war im Großen und Ganzen ganz oke. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher jeden Tag gewechselt. Insgesamt machte das Hotel einen sauberen Eindruck. Zusätzlich sind eine Klimaanlage und ein Aufzug vorhanden, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht.

Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist der Weg vom Hotel zur Hauptstraße bzw. zur Metro. Da das Hotel an einer steilen Straße liegt, ist der Fußweg mit leichtem Handgepäck noch gut zu bewältigen. Mit größeren oder schweren Koffern kann der Anstieg jedoch anstrengend sein, sodass sich für die An- oder Abreise ein Taxi empfiehlt.

Totul este foarte ok. Personalul foarte amabil. Răspund la orice întrebări, oferă harta și indicații despre vizitarea orașului și recomandări de restaurante. Camerele curate, se menține curățenia și înlocuiesc prosoapele zilnic. Este și aproape de stația de tramvai și de câteva obiective turistice. Recomand!

Empfang Freundlichkeit an der Rezeption und die Möglichkeit früher einzustecken, hat uns echt viel erleichtert und viel was gebracht. Außerdem ist es vom Standort her wirklich überall sehr nah und einfach nur ein perfekter Standort.

Es könnte ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer gehen, und der Kühlschrank könnte besser sein

L' établissement est idéalement situé. Le personnel est à l'écoute, disponible et très agréable. Un coup de cœur pour Selçuk et Murat, qui se sont révélés bienveillants et aux petits soins pour nous. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

We loved the friendliness and hospitality of staff, very clean and cosy hotel. Location was good, great view. After check out, we were able to leave the bags safely in the lobby for many hours until we went to the airport. Can't wait to come back.

Air con, hot water, staff, facilities

The location is on a downhill from the main road. So need to walk uphill.

All I can say is I recommend this hotel with all my hearth . Nothing bad I can say . The host are really nice and helpful. If you have trouble planning your trip they have many options to organize for you . The rooms are soundproof you can’t hear neighbors or anything . Everything was clean also in room there is a small fridge nice big bathroom. 10 minutes walk from all the tourists attractions. Best value for the money . I’ll definitely come back .

В Стамбуле далеко не первый раз, поэтому точно есть с чем сравнить. От отеля Zem остались только наилучшие впечатления. Приятный персонал, встречают с улыбкой, после прогулок всегда предложат чай/кофе, также разговаривают на русском. Номера просторные, чистые, свежие (включая сантехнику), есть лифт. Уборку предлагали каждый день, включая замену постельного и полотенец. Хорошее расположение, остановка трамвая - минут 5, до площади Султанахмет пешком 10-15, все очень близко. В общем, понравилось всё, в следующий раз точно в этот отель)

Though there is a short and steep uphill walk, i’d still consider this a good location. Soundproof room, excellent specially if you’re a light sleeper. The staff are also nice and helpful. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.

Friendly and kind staff. They were available to answers questions about the city and offered advice on activities and how to use the local metro system. Plus they always offered Turkish tea when they saw me.

Super Hotel. Große Zimmer und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Lage ist super und einen kurzen Spaziergang von der blauen Moschee entfernt, mit vielen Restaurants in der Umgenung. Wäre gerne länger geblieben.

The hotel manager went above and beyond to help me locate it and recover my belongings. Thanks to his kindness, dedication, and support, I was able to get my bag back. He was not only professional but also a genuinely caring and helpful person. I am very grateful for his assistance and would highly recommend this hotel because of the excellent service and outstanding staff.

Nichts, alles hat super gepasst

We stayed here last year for a little journey and returned as we felt so welcomed. The staff are friendly and hospitable. Nothing is too much, they're very knowledgeable with the area should you have any questions. House keeping occurred every day with beds made rooms cleaned. Water and pressure in the shower was perfect, so was the temperature. It's a good value for money hotel. The blue mosque is no more than a 10 minute walk & the nearest station is Cembelitas which is only a 5/7 minute walk there too. It's a great location especially for the old city. I will always return to this hotel for my journeys to Istanbul the staff really do make this

Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Außerdem war die Balkontür defekt. Trotz mehrfacher Hinweise wurde das Problem nicht behoben. Uns wurde zwar zugesagt, die Tür reparieren zu lassen oder uns ein anderes Zimmer zu geben, doch beides ist nicht passiert – selbst nach wiederholten Beschwerden. Ein paar Stunden nach dem Auschecken erhielten wir zudem eine Meldung von Booking.com, dass das Hotel angegeben habe, wir seien nicht angereist. Das entspricht nicht der Wahrheit. Bleibt fern von diesem Hotel.

Рекомендую Прекрасный отель с замечательным персоналом. Расположен в самом центре старого города, в 3 мин ходьбы от голубой мечети и остальных достопримечательностей. Номера вполне достаточны для проживания, тем более что мы все время гуляли. Ребята на ресепшене очень дружелюбны. Всегда помогут и подскажут что да как лучше сделать. Чай кофе внизу всегда в доступности. Спасибо огромное за прием! Приедем еще

Gute Lage, recht zentrumsnah. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zudem sprechen die Leute an der Rezeption gut Englisch. Man konnte direkt Taxi und Ausflüge buchen. Das Bett war komfortabel. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag gereinigt und es gibt frische Handtücher.

Obwohl es einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer gab, fehlten Tassen bzw. Tee oder Kaffee. Das Fernsehprogramm ist sehr türkisch, d.h. es gibt wohl nur drei englischsprachige (Nachrichten)sender.

Location was excellent. Staff, especially Murad, were very helpful in helping us get bags to our room and to the car when we left. They also always greeted us and asked if we needed anything when we saw them. Cleaning service was so nice and left rose petals and swan towels on our bed one day without asking! Cleanliness was very good. Overall great people and great hotel. Would definitely return here and recommend to others!

The AC in the room could have been better. Hard to regulate temperatures in the room once someone had used the shower. Got really hot in the room after a shower and had to open a window.
