This is a fantastic hotel one of the top 5 we have ever stayed in and we have been lucky to stay in some great places. Firstly the staff are so attentive and pleasant we had a hill view room as everything else was sold out but it was very good modern exceptional clean and large. The hotel grounds are beautiful and are designed to bring the building into nature the beach and pool area are again exceptional with fantastic service around the pool. Breakfast was amazing so much choice location is good 5 mins in a taxi to long beach centre and lots of places within easy walking distance would highly recommend and we hope to return
Absolutely amazing experience from arrival till departure. Could not be more perfect 🤩 super friendly, good English, very helpful , professional. I think staying at Salinda was the best part of our trip 🤩
Our 5th visit to the Salinda and once again it was very impressive. The hotel is so well presented with beautiful gardens and pool area leading to the beach. The room (Garden View) is of good size, well equipped and very well presented. The breakfast continues to be special and the best we have ever had. The other onsite speciality restaurants are superb too. Finally and our favourite part of the stay is the incredible ambience created by the friendly, helpful and attentive staff.
Our friends, who visited six years ago, recommended Salinda Resort to us. We weren't sure what to expect; many times we’ve experienced places with perfect photos only for the reality to be a disappointment. In the case of Salinda Resort, it was quite the opposite. The surroundings, the hotel, and the rooms are actually even more beautiful in person. The hotel is extremely clean and smells wonderful—the carpets in the hallways really add to the sense of luxury. The exterior is essentially one big botanical garden. No matter where you go (the gym, restaurant, or beach), you walk through lush greenery. It looks stunning. The breakfast was world-class, offering almost everything you could imagine. Even the coffee was delicious. The staff throughout the resort were very kind, helpful, and professional without being intrusive. Each of us has traveled extensively around the world, and we all consider Salinda Resort to be one of the best.
Best hotel I've ever stayed in. The reception had a beautiful floral display, you arrived to a refreshing shot collection of welcome drinks and fine dessert collection in the bedroom. The room was spacious. No great view though for us. The food is out of this world, with a range of cuisine on offer. The best dessert is their Lava chocolate cake in the Vietnamese restaurant, its a chocolate fondant and simply oozes out gorgeous chocolate. The soft sandy beach is exclusive to the hotel. Plenty of sun loungers for guests. All the staff are full of smiles, helpful and friendly. The pianist performing at breakfast really set the tone. There's nothing not to like here. We were so sad to leave. The island is going through huge development, lots of rubbish around, just hope they dont over develop and manage their waste better.
Having our wedding at Salinda Resort was one of the best decisions of our lives. On 29 January, we celebrated our wedding there with 27 guests, and it was truly the most magical, seamless and joy-filled experience we could have imagined. From the very beginning, the team made us feel completely supported, and on the day itself everything felt effortless. The Salinda team are simply exceptional at what they do. The beach ceremony setting was breathtaking. The aisle of white flowers and greenery against the ocean backdrop was stunning, and as I walked down the aisle I remember thinking I could not have dreamed this up better myself. The decorations, the timing, the atmosphere, every detail was handled with such care. The reception in the Mango Garden was equally beautiful. The lighting, the layout, the ambience, it all felt romantic yet relaxed. Our six course dinner was outstanding and guests are still talking about the quality of the food. Drinks flowed all evening, the band was absolutely amazing and they created such a fun and happy energy, and the entire night ran smoothly without a single issue. We were able to be fully present and just enjoy every second. What truly sets Salinda apart is the people. Planning a wedding from Australia could have been stressful, but David made the entire experience feel easy and exciting. He listened carefully to everything I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions and executed our vision with precision and heart. His responsiveness, patience and genuine enthusiasm gave me complete confidence from day one. Mr Jeevan and Mr Hung Le were also present during our celebrations, personally ensuring everything ran perfectly. Their leadership and attention to detail are reflected in every member of staff. The warmth and kindness shown not only to us but to our families and friends made a lasting impression. Beyond the wedding itself, our week-long stay in the Pear Suite Villa was unforgettable. The villa is spacious and luxurious, with a stunning bathroom, a huge comfortable bed and private garden areas with ocean views. The pillow and incense menus, twice daily housekeeping and thoughtful daily treats like local snacks and tea made it feel incredibly special. Returning to our room on our wedding night to find rose petals, balloons and our bath prepared was such a magical touch. The breakfast buffet is, without exaggeration, the best I have ever experienced. The variety is incredible and the team caters beautifully to all dietary requirements. Many of our guests commented on how impressed they were. Cyan Bar and the staff there was another highlight during our stay. We had many dinners there and the staff are absolutely incredible and so kind. Another highlight was the private karaoke room David arranged for us before the wedding which helped our guests bond and set the tone for the celebrations. When there were minor hiccups, they were handled quickly and professionally. Nothing ever felt like a problem. Salinda does not just provide a venue. They create an experience. They listen, they care and they execute every detail with genuine pride and warmth. We left feeling grateful, emotional and already talking about when we can return. I would recommend Salinda to any couple considering a destination wedding, or to anyone looking for a truly exceptional resort experience.

JYOTINDRA PATEL AND PARTY OF HAPPY GUESTS
I would give Salinda 4.8 stars. Salinda Resort has beautiful grounds. The estate that the resort sits on is stunning. Beautiful foliage throughout. The staff is excellent. Very warm and friendly. Excellent service. The airport pick up and drop off was well worth it and very timely with no delays and no waiting. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very large and comfortable. Loved the shampoo and conditioner provided as well. The pool is beautiful. Perfect setting to relax on and near the beach. The breakfast was amazing. Tram was an excellent host at breakfast. Many dishes and pastries to choose from. This is a very good hotel. We would return. We stayed for 2 nights. Great hotel to stay and relax.
Loved this hotel, my favourite on the island, the beach was clean, the pool beautiful and the bbq on the beach they did was epic!!! I had a superior (i think they call it) room with a beach view, you couldn't see the beach as the trees were in the way but it did give a beautiful sunset view and the balcony was lovely. This hotel does little treats left right and centre which i wont ruin the surprise on, the staff were lovely and honestly the only thing i can fault them on and its nit picking was it was sometimes hard to find a lounger by the pool. Totally recommend, its a great location too as you can walk outside if you fancy a change and there are plenty of shops to get snacks and drinks and cheap foot massages, along with some restaurants if you want.
It’s an oasis. Beautiful garden, pool, beachside and beach. Our room is fantastic i never saw such a big double bad. The view from our room is breathtaking, our balcony (2nd floor) is at the level of the jungeltop, and we can see the sunset into the sea. The breakfast is unique, there is a great selection of sophiaticated dishes. There is private beachside with bar&restaurant, plenty of cosy sunbeds and with attentive service. And most important: No trash in the water and the see, unlike in our earlier hotel in the southern Khem beach.
This was our third stay at the Salinda Hotel. Once again, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful welcome and care we received throughout our stay. We won't go into detail about the hotel itself – it's wonderful in every respect: location, cleanliness, organization, and, of course, top-notch service. It's the personalized approach and cordiality that sets this hotel apart from other resorts. We felt like we were staying with good friends on vacation. All our expectations were exceedingly met. This year, I spent my birthday here, and thanks to the staff, it was wonderful! We also took advantage of the hotel's cooking classes. The chef is a wonderful, approachable person who showed tremendous dedication during our lesson. We received recipes for the dishes he cooked and the opportunity to replicate them at home. The hotel cultivates its own garden with vegetables, herbs, and mushrooms, offering guests top-notch meals. We had the opportunity to tour it; they also make their own yogurt, which you can sample at their delicious breakfasts. I won't mention all the names of the staff who contributed to making our vacation so special! Special thanks to Jeevan Thomas, Nguyen Thanh, Linh, Ha, Tai, Su, all the pool attendants, Ngoc, Luan, Truong—sorry, I don't remember all their names, but you're always in our memories. This was our third stay, but it won't be our last! We really want to come back. If you expect more than a clean, well-located 5-star hotel, and you value genuine warmth and personalized service, the Salinda Hotel is the place to be. Thanks again to the entire Salinda family for a wonderful stay. See you soon!
We had a thoroughly great time at Salinda. Room was great, as was the food (sparkling breakfast as well as lunches and dinners). Service was impeccable, and very kind in nature. We also enjoyed the garden, the art gallery, the gym and a lot of small things that oozed quality.
We truly had a wonderful stay at Salinda and are very grateful for the care and thoughtfulness shown to us throughout. The overall attention to detail and the calm, pleasant atmosphere made the experience genuinely special. The GM - Jeevan ensured we had a seamless experience. A special mention to Chef Lila, who was always warm and thoughtful in accommodating our dietary preferences. Luan at the poolside was equally lovely and added greatly to the relaxed feel of our time there and the larger team at Salinda. We were also very touched by the housekeeping team’s attention, especially the small nightly surprises on our bedside table. Those gestures stayed with us and really elevated the stay. Thank you once again to you and the entire team for hosting us so graciously. We leave with fond memories and very much look forward to returning in the future.
An incredible team / staff and facility. We stayed for a week and also over New Years Eve. The party on NYE was a blast and we were so happy to be a part of it - all sorts of shows, fireworks and live music with an INCREDIBLE food spread. The rooms were beautiful and everything always in tip top shape throughout the resort (the level of attention, little things like always a triangle fold with toilet paper no matter what random time of day you use the WCs!!). The breakfast was incredible every morning with variety and very fresh fruits, salads and made to order on top of the full spread of both Asian and Western cuisine. The coffee was amazing and the breakfast staff always went above and beyond proactively to make sure you had what you needed (they made rounds to the tables and walked around the buffet checking in with guests!!). The front desk crew was also very helpful, responsive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and housekeeping was fantastic. Overall a fantastic experience we'd recommend for anyone visiting the island.
We loved this property. Everything about it is exceptional in terms of layout, grounds and service by its warm and wonderful employees. Location is great with lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Breakfast is an experience with a vast selection of Western and local specialties. We had a very memorable stay 4 night stay. We plan to return for a longer stay in 2027 because this is is the kind of place you don't want to leave once you check--in. Thank you to all the Salinda team and especially the GM Jeevan Thomas, for all the great conversations and for all your efforts to insure us an amazing stay.
A very well-maintained hotel complex with a beautiful beach and extremely friendly staff who fulfill every wish. The food was also an absolute dream and always perfectly prepared. The rooms are also very clean and beautifully furnished. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, and I can highly recommend this hotel!
We have just left the Salinda and want to show our appreciation. We’ve stayed in many excellent establishments around the world and this hotel is up there with the very best. To be honest when choosing this resort I wasn’t sure about our decision based on the website but the reviews were good so that clinched it. Once here we were blown away. The team cater to your every need and always with a genuine smile. We would particularly like to publicly thank Tuong for always looking after us on the beach and around the pool, a genuinely lovely man! Linh on F &B, with an ever ready smile and welcome, at any mealtime, we enjoyed getting to know you! Ha from F&B especially on New Year’s Eve, so attentive and always happy to take our picture. On the subject on NYE, words cannot describe the amazing transformation and entertainment provided, one thrill after another. The hotel isn’t huge but appears and feels spacious due to very clever design. Every area is imaginatively designed and immaculate. The gardens peaceful and pristine. The location and beach are perfect. And of course the included transfers from the airport. We stayed in a garden suite #502 which was beautiful with a large bathroom. Our daughter stayed in a sea view room also beautiful. Specialty nights are worth attending, not your average beach BBQ! And all the restaurants are great value, be warned portions are generous. Breakfast is special, a very civilised affair thanks to the pianist and being greeted with freely flowing good dry Spumante! How good does it get? Well despite the array of food, Lila the chef is always happy to prepare anything not already on offer. My praise isn’t limited to the people I’ve named, the whole team were amazing. And this all thanks, it has to be said, to the exceptional management of Jeevan Thomas, who is ever present, and so warm and welcoming. So thank you team Salinda, and anyone in doubt of where to choose, stop scrolling, this is the one! With thanks James, Alison & Esther
Our stay at Salinda Resort & Spa Phu Quoc was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, every detail reflected quality, care, and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive, always smiling, and made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. The champagne breakfast was outstanding — an excellent variety of food with top-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. It was easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve experienced. A special mention to the management: the manager was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, even remembering that we had visited the night market, which is conveniently only about 15 minutes away by taxi. These personal touches really make a difference. The food deserves its own praise. The bistro seafood pasta was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The chef must be a true professional. If we travel to Phu Quoc again, we would stay here without hesitation. Thank you to the entire Salinda team for making our holiday so special and unforgettable. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Salinda and felt the exceptional level of service in every detail, We also loved the facilities very much, everything was thoughtful, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are specious and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is amazing and the beach is fantastic!! We highly recommend the hotel and would definitely return in the future.
Six night stay at Salinda Resort and we loved everything about it. All the staff are friendly, with fantastic customer service. The rooms are clean and love the small details - beach bags to use and turndown gifts. The pool staff were amazing. This was our third stay and the resort was slightly busier than our previous October stays, but it added to the atmosphere. Would like to thank Jeevan, Hung and the team (including Tram and Tuong) for again making our stay special. See you next time.
We had the pleasure of spending a week at Salinda in early December, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Everything, from the service and rooms to the resort itself and the food, was faultless. The breakfast was a true standout, and the wonderful staff made every morning a delight. We loved watching the sunsets by the pool, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the perfect location.
Absolutely amazing week in Phu Qouc. Salinda is a stunning resort with first class service and amenities. Loved every minute of our stay and would recommend to anyone. Great location.
One of the best Locations we ever visited. Not just the Resort itself but also the surrounding. Vietnam became definitely one of our favorites. The Service is outstanding. Rooms are cleaned twice a day and we loved the little presents we've got every day. The Rooms themself are superior. The Value is a bit expensive, but it's all worth.
Beautiful place. Great people. Amazing beach. Very nice and clean room. Definitely recommend. Amazing service. Noise level very low. Great amenities.
Although it's been an almost a year since my visit at Salinda, I feel like it deserve an highly recommended opinion. Because it is a gem and a perfect place for a vacation and relax. The hotel is amazing, the food is excellent, the stuff is great and so helpfull, the surrounding and facilities are top notch. I really really really enjoyed my stay there and had one of the best travel experiences in my life.
I had a fantastic holiday at this hotel and can only give it my highest recommendations. The location right on the beach is simply perfect – few steps walking through paradise garden and you’re immediately by the sea. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and everything fresh and tasty. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. For me (from Croatia) the coffee in the morning is very important😂 and the esspresso was excellent👍 Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and we really appreciated the strong and reliable Wi-Fi throughout the whole resort. This hotel offers outstanding value for money – the level of service and quality you get for the price is more than good. I hope I will come back and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay and holiday of your dreams🩵
Fantastic stay – we already hope to return! We were very happy with our stay and are already hoping to come back next year — ideally to the same room or at least a similar one. The service throughout our stay was excellent, especially at breakfast and by the pool, where we spent a lot of time. We also enjoyed one of the best Indian dinners we’ve ever had at the hotel’s restaurant, Pakka. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding as well. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful start to our holiday!
We were impressed by this resort, which surpassed our expectations in every way. The spread at breakfast, featuring both international and Vietnamese dishes, was simply outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every guest's needs were met. You should definitely have dinner at the Indian restaurant, which is a great place to try some authentic indian cuisine. The attentive staff at the resort made our stay unforgettable.
I have stayed at a dozen hotels around the world. This one is on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. From delicious food options to comfortable rooms with stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Salinda Resort Phu Quoc because of its clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff. Big thanks to Sa for her kindness! See you soob again, Salinda!
We had an amazing stay at Salinda and were so impressed from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and every member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. Their warmth and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. Everything, from the beautiful setting to the thoughtful service, created such a special experience. We can’t wait to return and want to thank the entire team for making our visit so memorable.
Stayed in the garden villa. Cute boutique resort. Very lush and green. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet. Nice pool and beach with great views.
Outstanding resort, best place that we ever stayed at! From the attention to details, the personal care, down to the lovely aroma throughout the place, we can't fault them at all. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay, you guys are definitely the reasons for us to come back to Phu Quoc next time!
This resort is perfect. We were collected from the airport on time, and taken to the resort where we got a lovely welcome and shown to our bungalow. This has everything that you want and more. The food is superb whether it be breakfast, Indian dinner or best of all, Vietnamese dinner. Lila the chef produces magnificent Indian meals and was also kind enough the give me his recipe for peanut sauce. The staff throughout are so kind, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure you have the best time. I didn’t use the pool area as the sea is only 50 yds away, but like everything else, was immaculately clean and tidy. This place is an absolute gem and in a way, I’m reluctant to express what a wonderful place this is as I worry that the more people who come will make it harder for me to book in the future.
Wow!!! What a wonderful slice of paradise! We really did not want to leave. Where do we start....being efficiently collected from the airport; a wonderful welcome at check-in and an absolutely fantastic room (324). Amazing sea view from our huge balcony which lifted the soul. Beautiful bed linens, such a comfortable bed, huge bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Every amenity you could want. The gardens were a joy...I took great pleasure from the beautiful plants, flowers and water features. The pool and beach are outstanding...clean in all respects and stunning views and sunsets. Breakfast was the best we have had for some time...a huge range of quality food and drinks which varied daily. The skilful pianist was wonderful as you soaked in the peacefulness of the gardens over breakfast. Gym was well equipped and maintained. The absolute best thing about this slice of paradise however was the service provided by the wonderful staff across the resort. They were exceptional in providing individual high levels of service at all times. They were absolutely focused on providing a calm and peaceful oasis to promote rest and relaxation. We absolutely loved it...and having travelled extensively across Asia for many years this is now our favourite place! We did think however that the dining and cocktail options were expensive and as a result the bar and restaurants were pretty empty which was disappointing. However there are lots of options available outside the resort within walking/easy grab ride distance. We highly recommend Iris Cafe a family run restaurant across the road ..don't be put off by the simple style of the place..we ate some of the best fish bbq fish ever there for a fantastic price...other food and the cocktails were superb too! 7 days wasn't long enough ...we are already looking to book to come again next year. Thank you to everyone at Salinda Resort...you should be really proud of everything you do!
I would not go into much detail. All 5 star reviews and 10 out of 10 are true. And I am quite a ‘picky’ traveller. I booked another stay at Salinda the next day I came back home from my first 7-nights stay there. It’s an exquisite boutique-style hotel with a super personalized attitude. Perfect for couples. Would not really recommend it for families with kids though, as the property is rather small, like a swimming pool is not huge, and it’s quiet and blissful. Quite suitable for families with babies and little kids though - there’s a playing room, but no swimming pool for kids or any other fun. (I am usually a solo traveller looking for quiet places, so DON’t come here with noisy kids please:))))))))) All in all, this is definitely a place to come back to relax. Great food, impeccable service, irresistible sparkling and cocktails, favorable location - easy reach to both the North of the island with the Grand World and Safari, and the South with the Sunset Town. Thank you, Salinda team! Looking forward to coming back next month!
Room is clean with model design. Breakfast is excellent. Beside several restaurants inside the hotel, there are many options you can select just outside of the hotel with 5 mins walk.
Wonderful hotel! Very clean, cozy, and beautiful. Conveniently located, excellent service, especially during breakfast. Tram was always very responsive and friendly. Excellent, varied, and delicious breakfasts. The room has everything you need. Comfortable mattress and pillows... the view from the room is gorgeous.
Great breakfast, convenient location with many restaurants within walkable distance and a short taxi ride to the night life, pier (for snorkling trips), hikes and sunset town.
We had a lovely stay at Salinda. The staff was exceptionally friendly and service oriented. The room and all the facilities were incredible. We have no criticism at all. Everything was perfect, and we are very happy we had part of our honeymoon at Salinda. The experience was 10/10
“Salinda Phú Quốc Resort – one of the best stays on the island! 🌴✨ The resort is super clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. Staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling 😊, making you feel like home. The private beach 🏖 is long, clean, and feels like a hidden paradise – we even swam on a rainy day 🌧! The swimming pool is spotless and perfect for relaxing 🏊♀️. Plus, there’s an Indian restaurant 🍛 for those who love diverse flavors. Location is right in the center, very convenient! Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who loves luxury and comfort! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
My stay at Salanda Hotel in Phu Quoc was truly exceptional. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered a stunning sea view, while the breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff were always welcoming and friendly, making me feel at home. The pool overlooking the sea and the beautiful gardens make this hotel worthy of seven stars—I will definitely return .
Incredible in every way. Highly recommend and personally recommending to friends and family as well!
Our family returned to Salinda multiple times in the past 10 years, and it truly feels like our second home. The staff are exceptionally warm, attentive, and welcoming - its always a joy to be with. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the delicious meals in all Vietnamese, Indian and Italien restaurants with thoughtful touches for returning guests, every stay is memorable and special.
Welcome: From the airport pick-up to the check-in and finally the check-out, the staff was always smiling, pleasant, and very attentive. The hotel is set in lush greenery, offering a peaceful and beautifully decorated environment. The manager is truly dedicated to making guests happy. We were even upgraded to a private villa. The hotel has a kid’s club with a dedicated staff member looking after the children. My daughter loved it so much she didn’t want to leave, and the team was extremely caring with the kids. There are several areas to relax: you can enjoy a drink at the bar, play pool, read in the library, or even enjoy a cigar in the lounge dedicated to cigar lovers. For those working remotely, a co-working space is also available. The hotel is directly on the beach. The swimming pool is large, with a small (non-heated) jacuzzi area and a children’s pool. Sun loungers and towels are available both by the pool and on the private beach. Dining: There are three restaurants: Vietnamese, Italian, and Indian. Breakfast is served buffet-style in the restaurant overlooking the pool and the sea. The food is delicious, especially at the Indian restaurant. Being half-Vietnamese and half-Indian myself, I can assure you it was excellent! The chef is very friendly and often comes to check on the guests. Room: The villa is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a dressing area, double sink, and bathtub. The child’s bed was kindly offered free of charge. Small daily attentions were waiting for us in the room, which was highly appreciated. Highlights: • Complimentary round-trip airport transfer (the airport is only 10 minutes away). Nearby (just across the street): • Bittersweet: a local Phu Quoc chocolate shop (with a hidden bar inside). • Mujo Izakaya: a delicious Japanese restaurant with English-speaking staff. • Anna’s Restaurant & Café: perfect for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner. • Saigonese Café: a lovely spot for coffee. Downsides: • At this time of the year, due to the hotel’s location on the west coast, swimming is impossible: the sea is too rough (red flag every day). It’s also the rainy season. The south of the island is a better option, with calm waters. Ex : (Marriott hotel) green flag the same days • Food prices are very high. As the hotel is quite isolated, guests mostly rely on its restaurants, but the prices are closer to Europe than Vietnam (e.g., €4 for a small bottle of San Pellegrino!). • Activities are also overpriced: 4,500,000 VND for a 2-hour cooking class for two people. • Same with massages: very expensive compared to local standards.
We had a wonderful stay at Salinda Resort Phu Quoc from start to finish. The booking and confirmation process was smooth, and the team even assisted us in reserving activities at the Kid Club, which made our trip extra enjoyable for our little one. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The resort’s artistic decor is truly impressive – every corner feels like a photo opportunity, from vibrant artworks to beautiful photography spots. The 24/7 gym is well-equipped with high-quality machines, and the pool is a highlight – large, with a separate swimming area for kids, and filtered naturally with charcoal and sea salt so there’s no chlorine smell. Breakfast was delightful, with a lovely touch of sparkling wine and live piano music. While the selection is not huge, every dish is well-chosen and delicious. In the evening, you can enjoy the stunning sunset right at the resort, then try their Indian restaurant or High Note, which offers Vietnamese dishes accompanied by a live band every night. Overall, the food across the resort is excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We truly felt welcomed here. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phu Quoc – and we can’t wait to come back!
Salinda Resort truly impressed with its amazing private beach and beautiful pool area—perfect spots to unwind and soak in the serene vibes. The rooms were thoughtfully designed to capture that relaxed resort feel—stylish, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with beautiful artwork adding a unique touch throughout the property. The breakfast spread was both impressive and satisfying, featuring fresh, delicious options that set a great tone for the day. For evenings, the on-site bar and restaurant, High Notes, served amazing local dishes accompanied by a live band, creating a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. Its prime location is another bonus—just a short walk from charming cafés, local markets, and city attractions, offering the best of both relaxation and easy exploration. All in all, a memorable stay that strikes the perfect balance between peaceful retreat and city convenience. I’m already looking forward to returning! I strongly suggest you stay here when visitng the city.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Salinda! The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed the overall layout of the resort. The pool area is wonderful and relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the ocean due to rough sea but the beach area was clean and the sand soft. There were pool chairs for everyone and very attentive pool staff. The breakfast each morning was a buffet feast! So many options and wonderfully laid out! We ate at the Italian restaurant on site and it was so good!! Our server was amazing! Our room was very nice, spacious and clean. The resort transportation was quick and efficient. We highly recommend the Salinda and hope to return one day soon.
The resort has a unique vibe you won’t find anywhere else. Surrounded by greenery, every corner is simple yet photogenic. The food exceeded expectations, and the beach is perfectly set up for the best sunset view. I’ll definitely return with my loved ones.
My adult daughter and I really enjoyed our 5 nights stay here. The resort was wonderful and the staff and facilities were faultless. We liked the variety and quality of the food at breakfast as well as the ambience (live piano). We also really enjoyed the two dining experiences we had at the Asian restaurant by the beach. The food was fantastic. It is a shame that the restaurant is not open on a Monday evening as we were looking forward to dining there on our last night. The gym facilities were excellent. It was clean and well maintained. Our Mountain View room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well maintained and very beautiful. Highly recommend.
Having stayed at many 5-star resorts around the world, I can confidently say that this one stands out for its unique charm and exceptional attention to detail. From the thoughtful nightly gifts to the daily replenishment of amenities, every aspect of our stay felt carefully curated. The grounds and gardens are immaculately maintained, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. Each morning, we were warmly greeted by Tram at breakfast, whose outstanding service made us feel truly cared for—nothing was ever too much trouble. Mr. Thanh also went above and beyond to ensure our experience at Salinda was both memorable and seamless. This resort exceeded all expectations, and we can’t wait to return!
Here are my feedback after 3-day stay. pros: 1. Good standard of hygiene at room. 2. Many good restaurants next to the hotel main entrance. 3. Nice sparkling breakfast. Before starting the breakfast, it provides sparkling wine for all guests which is such a quite special arrangement. Although the types of food is not numerous, the environment and atmosphere at the restaurant are nice. cons: 1. Very low efficiency on the response of email. Before I stayed at the hotel, I had raised some enquiries by email. However, I experienced that there were no reply almost a week. Durimg my stay, I had sent email to ask for assistance from the frontdesk, there was no reply over an hour during non-peak. 2. The price of the restaurants is very expensive compared to other same level hotels. I stayed for 3 days but after tried once, then no more. 3. The hygiene of the poolside restaurant is dissatified. During the only lunch there, we had found a hugh number of ants on the table while just a little bit food fell on it. 4. The hygiene of the billiard table is bad. When I am going to play it, the table is very dirty and the other table was no "holes" which is quite strange. At the end, I have never played it during the 3 days. 5. The child club is small. The area of it is very small and there is quite hot, so I am not willing to bring my 2 kids to play there.
Thank you to the amazing Salinda team! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The space is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was cozy and full of greenery, making us feel at ease. The food was excellent and diverse. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely comeback
Where do I even begin? This is truly the most amazing and luxurious resort I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail throughout the resort and in the rooms/villas is simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly sweet, and the manager Mr. Anh, was professional and kind. He made sure our stay was extremely comfortable and memorable. ❤️ I’ve already planned another trip to Phu Quoc just so I can stay at this resort again. Salinda Resort has my heart. ❤️ Thank you Anh for taking such good care of us!
Salinda is so good I don’t think I should tell you. My family of three stayed there for a week in July. The staff and the service were absolutely exceptional. My daughter is a celiac and I messaged the resort before we arrived to ask if they could accommodate gluten free meals. Not only did the say yes the asked if I wanted to meet the chef and discuss it. This is very unusual even for 5 star resorts. It didn’t stop there, the staff managed the perfect balance of being nearby without hovering around. The Italian Indian and Vietnamese restaurants were able to accommodate us and the food was fantastic, we even got gluten free pancakes at breakfast. The location is great right on the beach the pool is a good size, the gym is larger and better than most hotel gyms. I can fault anything. Our favourite staff member was Trung, he made sure my daughter got gluten free meals and his bubbly personality was a highlight. If you want a lower key resort, with friendly staff great facilities and food, this is the one.
Our experience in Salinda Resort in Phu Quoc was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much, everything from the transfer, staff, food, cleanness, decor, accommodation and amenities were all amazing.
This is a gem of hotel with lovely, professional and happy people working. We had a weeks holiday as a family with my two teenage daughters in separate rooms and we all loved it. The rooms are spacious comfortable and feel luxurious. The corridors are adorned with artwork that brings up the level of the place. The beach is private, has comfortable shade and some bathing areas, and loungers. The guy that looks after the beach and the towels has impressed us with his eagerness and willing to make sure that all clients have exactly what they want The sea is superb and you can borrow the kayaks of the hotel for a little tour. The swimming pool is cleverly located with beautiful views over the sea and clean and Surrounded by trees that afford shadow should you wish The restaurant for breakfast is absolutely superb with choice of food and we do like the fact that any eggs or pho is served as you place orders with the waiters. We don’t usually drink in the mornings however a glass of Prosecco after breakfast went down really well The restaurants are limited in choice but serves great food. There are also a few restaurants across the road from the hotel. We serve fresh seafood at very affordable prices. I bought scallops for 50p. It’s also worth making a trip to the town and see the seafood market. There is also a pizza place the name of which I can’t recall but serves very good pizza which gives you a nice break from fresh seafood every day. I always write a place by asking myself a question. Would I come back when the whole world is full of so many options. The answer is yes to this place I definitely would. They have private transfers to and from the airport as well Take a little walk down the beach and have a massage for £10 for an hour. You will then walk on air on your way back. There’s an old guy selling fruit and coconut water who is super friendly and brings fresh fruit
Salinda is a beautiful, private location. It’s like being on an island by yourself. The view of the beach and pool are spectacular and the gardens are lush. Everything is integrated with nature and it is healing and recuperative and a great way to unwind after the rush, rush of traveling through Japan and mainland Vietnam. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was great too (though we only ate the breakfast in-site—we ate at local restaurants for dinner (I highly recommend the Lobster Cave, near the night market.). Salinda staff cleaned our rooms every day without being asked; towels and umbrellas are provided depending on your needs and everything is provided with loving care. I truly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Salinda and will definitely try to come back. The only negative: it doesn’t appear that the hotels and bars in Vietnam don’t really understand how to make international cocktails. (Like pina coladas (not blended) for my daughter, or cosmopolitans for me.). But it’s a minor complaint. Everything else was top notch.
Clean, Comfortable, and Great Hospitality We had a great time staying at Salinda Resort. Everything was neat and well organized, from the room to the shared areas like the pool and garden. The breakfast was simple but good, and the staff always greeted us with a smile. The location was convenient yet calm, and we were able to relax and recharge. Thank you to the wonderful team at Salin for making our stay so pleasant!
Great Value, Friendly Staff, Lovely Experience We stayed at Salinda Resort for a few nights and were very happy with our choice. The resort has a very warm and welcoming feel. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff—they were always smiling and ready to help with anything. We also appreciated the relaxing pool area and the quiet surroundings. Overall, a great place to stay at a very fair price.
Friendly staff. Special shout-out to Paolo, hyunh and team. Room for improvement: Separate kitchen for halal food.
We had a wonderful stay at Salinda! The rooms were clean and had a personal touch. Every time they made the room(Twice a day) they left a note and with a little something to help us sleep better. The staff was very cordial and helpful in giving recommendations for our visit. The hotel is near a lot of restaurants, supermarket and massage parlours. Its in the center of the city. Their Breakfast and Indian restaurant were amazing.
Amazing resort would highly recommend. My fiancé and I visited for 9 nights in May (Australian couple here) and couldn’t fault the resort. The service was exceptional and the facilities and food was amazing. It was no doubt one of the best resorts we have stayed at. We would love to come back! The resort is located right out the front of a free bus that goes in and out of town and also to the airport. There are lots of resturants to eat at close by in walking distance and massage places. There are alot of things to do and see on the island and found the resort was located in a really good spot to do all the actives. This resort is a slice of paradise, if your after a tranquil relaxing time, I would highly recommend.
Hotel staff could not do enough for us, loved the little touches to the smell of the hotel to the little gifts we received. Breakfast was amazing.
This location was absolutely amazing, from the Authentic Indian Cuisine to the hospitality. If you can speak with Aidan (Ahn), he can suggest some must-dos not too far from the resort. One of the best resorts I've stayed in this far.
This resort is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate. The pool is fantastic and the view through the palm trees to the private beach is superb. Great breakfast and amazing staff who are always happy and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
Nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast!
Feels like a hidden gem in Phu Quoc. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff stood out, especially the room attendants and lovely buffet breakfasts. The garden was another highlight - so much lush and tranquil.
Our experience at the Salinda Resort was nothing short of fantastic. Everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish. The staff at the Salinda resort could not have been more helpful. The rooms were meticulously cleaned and a great size. The staff at the pool were very attentive and there is plenty of food and drink available (at a cost which is fairly priced for a hotel). The breakfast is fabulous including sparkling wine. The beach is a lovely setting and there are plenty of beds for guests by the pool and also on the beach. I would happily come back and would 100% recommend to anyone. I hope one day to be back!
Absolutely amazing Resort!!!We love staying at Salinda the hospitality is over & above and exceeded all expectations as we have stayed here at least 7 times and wouldn’t stay anywhere else to be honest! Perfect location, the beach & infinity pool is located in tranquil settings, enjoy amazing poolside food, lounge chairs are so comfortable and you are looked after by the staff, cocktails at the Cyan Bar overlooking the gorgeous sunsets are a must,Breakfast is a buffet which never disappoints so much to choose from high quality & (champagne flows & flows it’s the best we have ever had). Our Pearl Suit Villa is perfect very clean and serviced twice a day with fresh fruits & chocolate on a daily basis.(day beds out on our private balcony love it)! We love the Indian & Italian Restaurants at the resort both 5 star rated, you can enjoy dancing to live music Caroline & the band great entertainment! Perfect location, free green bus at the door step, local restaurants, markets are not too far away. Thank you Jeevan & staff for the wonderful experience once again you are so professional with everything you do. Ps we will see you soon
Lovely hotel set in lush gardens with an excellent pool overlooking the beach. Service at the pool is first class. The breakfast buffet is superb. However the hotel’s Internet is very variable, the ageing flat screen TV is barely watchable due to appalling reception and some elements in our room were faulty such as lighting and the USB port didn’t work. A sea view with a balcony is a must!
We had a wonderful stay at Salinda resort. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. Our room was spacious with a nice view. Having access to a private beach qi
After a few days at the excellent La Veranda a few miles north of here, we moved on to this much larger resort. This has a superb beachfront and pool where the service is impeccable, the grounds are lovely and the buffet breakfast is excellent. If you wish to sample local restaurants, there’s a decent choice just outside and we found that the Lin Da offers delicious food at an extremely reasonable price with very friendly staff. Back at the hotel, we had a sea view room with a fine balcony but as has been mentioned elsewhere recently, the hotel’s internet is very intermittent by comparison with other Vietnamese hotels (my e-sim saved the day) and the ageing flat screen TV was unwatchable as the screen constantly froze or jumped. There’s also a charging port in the room but that didn’t work and the hotel had no extra USB plugs to assist. The room’s lighting system has a central console by the bed but on our final night, we were unable to switch off one of the main lamps which made sleeping rather difficult! Overall this is still a lovely hotel but works is needed to ensure it retains its genuine 5 star status.
We had a fantastic time at the Salinda. We were looking for a relaxing 4 night resort holiday to end our month in Vietnam, and it was perfect after a hectic itinerary. The location was perfect for us. Just 15 mins from the airport (hotel transfers worked perfectly) and we just used the amazing free Phu Quoc No 17 bus service which stops right outside the hotel, to travel elsewhere. Our seaview room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was very good (and the bfast staff), the pool area was amazing (special thanks to the pool guy who's service to all guests is outstanding), and we ended up eating each night at the Cyan Bar & Sunset Dining area. The food there was very good and the prices were better value than the other restaurant options. Just one work on - The lobby crew were great for check-in and check-out, but not over engaging during our stay like other hotels that we stayed at on the mainland. But overall it was a great experience, and will definitely be going back next year.
Staff was nice. Breakfast buffet good. Limited amenities and food.
I can not emphasize enough the satisfaction with Salinda. in the last 15 years we went back just to 2 hotels and Salinda is on of them (the other is Katamaran Resort in Lombok) Nowadays is very hard how you differentiate but they succeed on every level. Service: my wife has minor OCD :) and imagine she is satisfied. The staff pays attention to every little detail, very helpful if you are at the pool, restaurant, reception, SPA, etc it does not matter they are there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very helpful in every manner. If you want to experience real 5 stars service this is the place. Facilities: Green, refreshing, amazing beach & pool. The biggest bed in our life, we almost did not meet with my wife in the bed :D. The quality of beds at the pool, the Spa, etc is great! Food: The breakfast was one of the reason we came back: best in Asia. Period. But the food at the pool and in the restaurants are great too. So once again thank you for the great experience at Salinda, if come back to Vietnam we will visit you again :)
We stayed at Salinda Phu Quoc beach resort for five night. OMG what a beautiful resort. I could not fault a single thing. The staff were amazing and so welcoming and helpful. The man at the towel stand was unbelievable, he wouldn’t let you carry your own towels, he put them on the lounges and then changed them later in the day if they were wet. The food was amazing but if you don’t want to eat at the resort there a restaurants all down the street as well as massage places. There is plenty to do in Phu Quoc if you don’t want to just relax.
Where to start. We stayed for three nights and wished it was ten. Faultless on all levels - the staff, the room, the facilities, THE BREAKFAST (fantastic), there wasn’t a weakness. There were so many small, thoughtful touches that, for me, made this a very good five star hotel - care that sometimes be missing in other, well established resorts. Nothing here felt generic - it’s YOUR stay and amongst all the other guests, you’re made it feel like it really is your stay. This was certainly a feeling shared with a few people we spoke to during our time at the hotel. We only ate at the hotel one evening (in the Indian) and it was, again, very good. Having been fortunate to stay in some very lovely lovely hotels across the world, this is right up there.
This was the part of our Vietnam tour that I was looking forward to most. After a hectic tour, we wanted to relax and enjoy the island. The overall experience just didn’t match our expectations. Free airport taxi from hotel was smooth and we arrived at a beautiful resort. Our 2nd floor ocean view room was amazing. First impressions were excellent. The pool area is stunning with fantastic beach. The staff we engaged with were lovely and helpful. The ones which stood out were the breakfast staff - the restaurant breakfast manager Lila - was super helpful and charming. The pool attendants were lovely people and the pool manager was checking constantly we were satisfied. He is a great credit to the hotel. What is not to like? So here is where my overall experience fell short. Beach - we are pool one day and beach the next day travellers. Unfortunately you couldn’t sit on the beach as there were no cover other than the palm trees which provided no shade. The beach was empty virtually every day. Restaurant food - way too expensive. The hotel is located in an area with nothing really close by. £40 for a small steak is expensive in my opinion. We were typically £30 a day for a small lunch. Hotel management - no where to be seen. No one other the wonderful staff engages with any guest. Hotel bar - lovely but £13 for a cocktail means there is no one in the bar other than the poor band playing to no one. Guest safety - it was jellyfish season and in the afternoons, the water was plagued by jellyfish. Most guests didn’t know that a small yellow flag hidden away beside the palm trees means that there is a warning not to enter the water. Location - worst part of Vietnam we visited. It was such a disappointment. Really struggled to find good restaurants and bars.
Best hotel(resort) that I went.... Best Cozy and everything is geared for guests who stay... Beach is super nice to stay... Pool is great for having great time... Breakfast... Surroundings are filled with beautiful woods and flows.. Also.. Singers at night were so best... Our family members were so satisfied... I like to go again if I go Phu Quoc...Thumps up......
The Salinda is an outstanding hotel, from the cleanliness, staff and service. The hotel grounds are immaculate. Breakfast is plentiful, the best we’d had in Vietnam. I would recommend anyone to stay here.
Beautiful grounds around the hotel; very friendly, helpful staff; restaurants were fabulous; the art works in the hotel were amazing and the rooms were very thoughtfully decorated with local themes. Highly recommend staying here
Perfectly located in the middle of it all. Go north and you can safari. Go south and you can go to the water park. Use grab taxi to make sure you are getting the right costs. The hotel is fantastic, endless breakfast Buffett. The room service is exceptional, with all The good food offerings of local And western food types. The big control is very good, this area being as hot and humid all year round has tropical byproducts, and there are very little mosquitos to deal with. The pool is a salt water pool, it is very clean. The restaurants are very large and accommodate a lot of people. The walking area is vast with a very neat park system. They have bicycles that are free to use for guests from 7am to 5pm and it helps see the area much easier, however , the more you travel via grab taxi around the island you realize that there is so much brand new construction and empty land not being utilized yet. The southern part of the island where the 8 km cable car and waterpark is located is going to be phenomenal once they are done building it.
Beautiful place, friendly stuff
The Salinda Resort is a luxurious hotel quite close to Phu Quoc airport. Like many of the nearby hotels they provide a free shuttle service to and from the arirport which is a real bonus. The hotel is between the road and the sea and has its own section of the beach looking westward, affording spectacular sunset views. The beach is of soft sand which is kept clean and well managed. It is wonderful for swimming in warm water. Attendants deal with sun loungers and towels. The beach could not have been better. Between the hotel and the beach is a large swimming pool with more sun loungers and mangnificent gardens. Our room was on the opposite side of the building from the beach and we had a magnificent view of the moon over the hills from our balcony. There was no noise from the road. The room was huge, with the biggest bed I have ever seen. Why, then, did they not provide more than a tiny amount of wardrobe space for our clothes? The stands by our beds were beautiful but not very practical. Some bigger drawers or shelves would have been useful. The lighting was good. The thick curtains kept out all outside light at night. The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. Everywhere was kept clean and tidy all the time. The receptionists were happy to exchange our large denomination notes for smaller ones to make them easier to use. They booked a taxi for us (although it seems that they have not vetted the drivers: the one we had took us first to the wrong place and then started to give us an indirect tour rather than just taking us to our destination). I would recommed that anyone wishing to take a taxi should find the destination on Google maps and show the driver to avoid any confusion. There were some very nice touches. Visitors were provided with sturdy, good quality bags in which to take possessions to the bach and pool. The slippers provided were of a higher quality than those in many hotels. The hotel is located on the road between the airport and the town of Duong Dong and there is a free public bus along the route every ten minutes. It would have been better if the hotel had publicised this; we only found out about it by chance from some other holidaymakers at the bus stop. It is worth going into the town to have a change from the beach. Just outside the hotel on the other side of the road are some cash machines, several small restaurants which are much less expensive than those in the hotel, and a few shops. Other facilities in the hotel include a gym which we had a quick look at. It was spacious and very well equipped but the air conditioning was fierce and made it far too cold for us. We did not make use of the spa. There is a "business centre" with a library of books in various languages for visitors to read. Interesting art work is displayed all round the hotel. For breakfast there was an extensive buffet catering from visitors from all over the world. You ordered coffee or tea and eggs from your table and otherwise helped yourself to cold and hot dishes and drinks. There were other restaurants in the hotel. We did not use the Indian restaurant but on our first night as we had not worked out where the local restaurants where we had a meal in the Italian restaurant "Il Muro" which was a fine dining experience, marred by very slow service. We also had two lunches at the "Cyan Bar" which was very convenient. When we arrived my wife had been unwell (staff were aware and very keen to help). Unfortunately the meal at Il Muro seemed to set off her problem again. On my last morning I had a good breakfast in preparation for my long journey home to the UK and later on the day was extremely sick. Of course it is impossible to pin down the cause of these things but it felt probable that there was a link. Overall it was a luixurious hotel but one or two points could have been improved.
We stayed in a garden villa. The room was modern, spacious and well air conditioned. The bed was massive and very comfortable - I actually looked forward to lying on it each night! The only downside to the villa was that there was no fan outside on the patio area of our little garden. Which made it virtually useless for serval nights when it was too hot and airless to sit out. A fan would have made this possible and as we booked the garden villa because we wanted to use it in the evenings, this was a disappointment to us. The food was good. There was a superb breakfast buffet. Their service at breakfast was excellent. We booked the beach BBQ and weren’t disappointed. It was a fantastic evening and the buffet was superb - it included sushi, high quality tuna and salmon sashimi, beautifully roast duck, steamed fish, roast salmon and king prawns and far too many other dishes to mention - altogether great value for money. Pick up and drop off service to and from the airport was a bonus. The beach frontage was lovely with good beachside service. The only downside - which was a big one - was the amount of garbage in the sea. Not immediately in front of our hotel - as that was cleared fastidiously - but if you walked on either side of the bay you would encounter piles of garbage on the beaches. We found it totally off putting and offensive. There seemed to be no structure in place to clear up, collect and remove this disgusting litter. And I must say that on account of this particular element we would not return to Phu Quoc or recommend it to others. This is really sad as our hotel experience was phenomenal but overall this problem with garbage floating in the sea was immensely disappointing.
I don't know where to start - this is without a doubt the best hotel experience I've ever had! I have no complaints. The staff are absolutely amazing and very service-minded. You can barely raise your hand before someone asks you how you are and if you need anything. There are three restaurants to eat at, lovely pool and beautyful beach. Fun themed parties to attend in the evening! We tried the cooking class and can really recommend it. We also had the sunset dinner and loved it. Upon check-in and check-out, you are served delicious cold drinks and there were pleasant surprises on the bed every night from housekeeping. We had a hill view room and were happy with this since we weren't on the balcony anyway. But it's still lovely with a view of the sea and we'll probably choose that next time we come! As a queer couple it can be dangerous and hard to travel to different places. We received good feedback that this was not a problem and were warmly welcomed. A special thank to chef Tai, Trung, Tuong and lovely Tram for making this an excellent vacation.
Nice hotel with its own beach and pool. We never experienced a shortage of sun loungers and the staff at the pool were very attentive. The hotel is close to a lot of local eateries, so it was easy to go out and get something to eat. The breakfast was fantastic and one of the best I have experienced on a holiday. We did not use the restaurants in the hotel, as they were disproportionately expensive compared to the locals. The same applied to the pool only and I have never understood why they charge so high. So many guests therefore bring their own drinks, as it typically costs 5 times as much as the shop across the road. We do not mind paying for the service, but 5x is too much. The hotel and service were generally very leaky, but there is a serious problem in a 5 star hotel and therefore I cannot rate it 5. Their Wifi is really bad and it is almost impossible to use in the room. The same applies to the television, which flickers and the sound lags behind the picture. This should not be the case and we experienced it in India at the other hotels we stayed at on our trip to Vietnam.
My wife and I stayed at the Salinda resort for 5 days following a tour of mainland Vietnam, and had a great experience. On arrival at Phu Quoc airport we were met by a driver from the hotel in their courtesy car. From that point onwards we were extremely well looked after. On entering the calm reception area there is a nice fragrance throughout the whole of tranquil hotel. At reception we were taken down to the bar to complete the check-in. We we give a small selection of 4 fruit juices and cold towel to refresh ourselves and a very good explanation of the hotel facilities including a map. Rooms are large and well appointed with a balcony with soft loungers. Everything in the rooms is of a good quality and stands head and shoulders above anywhere we've stayed at over the last 3 weeks in other hotel in Vietnam. Staff have been exceptional, very helpful and attentive, which has not always been the case in other places. Breakfasts are substantial. You can start with a sparkling wine if you like, before the staff show you to a table inside or outside of your choice, before they take your for tea or coffee and cooked eggs however you wanted them. All the breakfast stands were beautifully presented and again great quality. The hotel has 4 restaurants (Main, Pakka (Indian) & Mura (Italian) or Cyan by the beach viewing the sunset, which will suit all tastes. The hotel and spa offer a plethora of additional activities yoga, spa, cooking classes etc. Or just lounge by the infinity pool overlooking the sea and sunset, or even a beach BBQ. It has a small gym/ fitness centre to suit all workouts. The house resident band that we've heard at a few places in the hotel offer a good range of songs and music. A acoustic pair at the pool bar and a trio in the main bar. Both the women singers have great voices and they all play well together in a soft and gentle way to either listen or dance to. The pool area over looks to sea and again offers great unrestricted views of sunsets on the horizon. This is a long review and it deserves it. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world and we both agree this is one of our best, and would gladly return again. Overall this hotel is outstanding, you can find and stay at cheaper hotels if you want to, but for that bit extra you'll see a world of quality.
Just a fabulous property with amazing staff
Amazing week in this hotel, lovely and comfortable, the staff were brilliant, breakfast was great, food round the pool was also lovely and it was in a great area, would def recommend and return
Beautiful resort, great price, amazing service and delicious food. I highly recommend this resort!!
Nice hotel, a few issues but hotel addressed them Thank you Thandy
Beautiful and friendly
Great hotel
The place itself is very nice. Spacious rooms with large comfy beds. Lovely resort with swimming pool and little private beach just for hotel guests. If you choose to eat there then the food is also nice. But the thing that made the stay really good was the staff. Everybody (and I mean everybody) from people doing meet and greet, reception, restaurant/catering, room service, cleaners, kid's play room...they were all super nice, welcoming, helpful and friendly. They were the real stars of the show and should be given due credit.
Property has a lot of tropical plants and secluded. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Definitely would book here again! The hotel staff were amazing! Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Kitchen staff is wonderful and food is good here. One hiccup we faced was our deep sea fishing trip was cancelled, but we were not notified by hotel staff due to weather related issue earlier, which was understandable, however we waited in the lobby for 30mins then told our driver was not coming. Walking distance from restaurants and massage shops.
Love it would return in future
