The rooms were clean and big. The staff was very helpful and lovely. I think the strong suit of this place is the area were can stay down below with the bar and a pool table, so cool. The showers were spacious and clean.

There are a lot of stairs but it's Amsterdam so what do you expect? It would have been nice to have curtains for the beds.

The staff was mostly great, atmosphere amazing, they supported me in few cases

My bike were stolen from front of the hostel and they couldn't help me, just send to the police. And few other smaller issues. In general it was good stay anyway.

Dont think about it twice, perfect especially for teens that want to socialize and have fun. Will visit again in our next trip!!

I enjoyed the 6 bed shared room which had a nice amount of people and wasn't too crowded or noisy. The is lounge is cosy where you can relax, have a drink and smoke and meet other people. I liked the cages under your bed where you can keep belongings safe. Free water available at the bar 24/7. Full kitchen to use where you can cook and heat up food.

Sometimes some of the toilets were not clean and had tissue over flowing from the bins which seemed a bit nasty and unhygienic. Also there are lots of stairs to climb which are very steep. Kitchen closes at midnight which means you can only use fridge and microwave after then.

I got a free upgraded room from 14 to4 bed!! and it's really clean (I'm really happy with no food rules in room) it makes the hostel is diffrent from others! it's so much more comfy and no bad or food smells! so we can sleep good! the bathroom also super clean I'm in mixed room and the guest are all politte and respecfull! super happy with my stay!! 100% if I need to have a morning meetting again in ams i will definittellyy sleep there again :))

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und ausgezeichnet. Leider war die Sauberkeit sehr schlecht. Im Zimmer gab es einen unangenehmen Geruch und außerdem waren Insekten im Zimmer. Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Personal sehr zufrieden, aber die Sauberkeit und der Zustand des Zimmers waren leider enttäuschend.

La ubicación era regular, estaba a 30 minutos de Amsterdam Centraal y estaba bien conectado mediante trams y metro. El barrio no tenía mucha vida pero si suficiente ruido por estar al lado del Voldenpark. A pocos minutos caminando de museos importantes. En el bar un chico nos ayudó con una cerveza especial y fue muy simpático. Las duchas funcionaban bien, salía agua caliente y fría.

Ruido afuera, nos tocó en el tercer piso y había que subir 4 escaleras muy empinadas, hostal no apta para maletas. Habitación sin aire acondicionado, muy calurosa, el ventilador que había solo hacía ruido y tiraba polvo. Los baños casi todo el tiempo ocupados y los que estaban desocupados no funcionaban (sin luz o tapados), si bien habían carteles que decían que podías avisar, para eso tenías que bajar 4 pisos para llegar a recepción y eso era mucho trabajo. La cama tenía una luz personal que se podía prender pero se apagaba sola a los 10 segundos y luego no volvía a prender en varios minutos. La cama tampoco tenía un lugar para dejar las cosas como una repisa o algo así, tuvimos que dejar los celulares, cargadores y las llaves de la habitación en el suelo. Había un solo cargador para la cama, a pesar de que era para 2 personas. Las camas no tienen privacidad, algunas hostales tienen cortinas o algo, aquí no había nada de eso, para cambiarse de ropa en privacidad tenías que ir al baño y para dormir todos te podían ver, nosotros teníamos la cama que daba justo a la ventana por lo que cada persona que entraba podía vernos y debido al calor que hacía no podíamos taparnos tampoco. La habitación no era higiénica, tenía olores extraños que se mantuvieron hasta el día siguiente y eso que no había gente cuando llegamos.

Je suis restée 6 nuits. Dortoirs de 8 , au-dessus du bar. Autant dire que le bruit des basses est assourdissant et empêche le repos. J ai demandé à changer de lit.....cela n a jamais été possible malgré un turn over journalier des touristes. Un cauchemar.. je déconseille

L’accueil était vraiment parfait. Nous avons apprécié le fait qu’il y aient des lockers directement dans l’auberge de jeunesse. Endroit très accueillant

El hostel no es cómodo, los espacios comunes son chicos para toda la gente que hay. Muchísimas escaleras, es agotador subir y bajar tanta escalera, los cuartos y baños no estaban del todo limpios. Mi habitación no tenía aire y no tenía cortinas las ventanas por lo tanto a las 7 de la mañana cuando salía el sol entraba toda la iluminación al cuarto. Y con la falta de aire acondicionado nos moríamos de calor. Pusieron dos ventiladores pequeños para una habitación de 12 personas. Para cerrar, había un ratón en la habitacion.

Pour avoir fait beaucoup d'auberges de jeunesse ces dernières années, celle-ci est clairement du vol. Pas de salle de bain : les douches étaient minuscules et donnaient directement sur le couloir. Tous les espaces (couloirs, cuisine, toilettes) étaient excessivement étroits : il ne faut pas être claustrophobe là-bas! Pas de papier toilette dans les toilettes. Bref, payer 35€ pour si peu d'espace et de propreté, ce n'est pas raisonnable.

Very friendly staff and people, great location right by the park and a tram away from the station. Also the dorms are very well air conditioned which is incredible on a hot summer day. Also provides cheap food and pints in the bar downstairs.

The only issue we had was people in the dorms leaving early and disturbing a nights sleep but this is expected when staying in a dorm.

Muy buena experiencia. El ambiente es excelente, el personal es muy amable y las instalaciones estaban limpias y bien cuidadas. La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer Ámsterdam caminando o en transporte público. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme aquí.

Sehr gute Lage! Dass man bei einem Hostel Einschränkungen beim Komfort hat, sollte einem bewusst sein und ist hier nicht zu bemängeln. Die Leute und das Personal waren durchweg nett und hilfsbereit.

Falta limpeza e manutenção, não tinha ar condicionado, o box do banheiro precisa de limpeza e manutenção constante, a internet no quarto era horrível. Cobrou 2 euros pelo cartão de entrada na acomodação, no final da estadia perguntou se não poderíamos deixar para doação, mas quando perguntamos se poderíamos deixar as malas no hostel, o recepcionista disse que teríamos que pagar 2 euros por 2 horas e depois a cada hora mais 1 euro, além dos 2 euros de “doação”, ou seja, só querem ganhar dinheiro nas custas dos hóspedes.

Wir fanden die Lage des Hostels super, da es in der Nähe des Leidseplein-Platzes ist und demnach viele Restaurants, Bars und Clubs in unmittelbarer Nähe sind. Das Hostel ist also auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wenn man abends/nachts auch gerne mal länger unterwegs sein möchte. Außerdem ist der Vondelpark direkt neben dem Hostel, sodass man auch mal schön spazieren gehen kann oder ein paar Stunden im Park verbringen kann, ohne sich weit vom Hostel wegbewegen zu müssen. In die Innenstadt sind es ca. 20 bis 25min zu Fuß. Das Hostelzimmer war auch gut ausgestattet und es war erstaunlich angenehm, mit 10 anderen Personen im Raum zu schlafen. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und unten in der Bar ist auch immer etwas los. Also der perfekte Ort, um neue Leute kennenzulernen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und würden das Hostel jederzeit wieder buchen! :)

Am letzten Tag hatten wir in unserem Zimmer leider kein laufendes bzw. kaltes Wasser mehr, allerdings hatte sich dies nach ein paar Stunden auch wieder geregelt, da wohl unten etwas in der Küche repariert werden musste.

O quarto era ótimo, tem ar-condicionado, tem cozinha, smoking room, bar, boarding games e atividades do dia a dia. A localização é excelente

Super sucio todo, la cocima un asco y además solo se podia ocupar a partir desde las 2 pm, osea que no desayuno. El olor de las piezas era insufrible y todo por un precio alto para estar lejos del centro.

espaço nada acessível, cheio de escadas, pequeno e escuro. sem estrutura para o calor. a janela do quarto coletivo abre pouco, não há ventilador, é um forno. os banheiros são apertados, há um ao lado da cozinha que quase não dá para fechar a porta. a cozinha é minúscula e a área coletiva muito pequena para a quantidade de hóspedes.

더러워요. 화장실 냄새나요. 쥐가 나왔어요. 쥐가 다른 사람 가방 갉아먹었어요. 쥐가 나왔다고 얘기해도 별다른 조취를 안 취해줍니다. 메일로도 연락 넣었는데 48시간 내에 확인해보고 연락 주겠다고 하고선 연락이 없네요. 해결할 생각이 없어보입니다. It is dirty. The bathroom smells bad. There was a mouse in the room. The mouse even chewed another guest’s bag. Even after I reported the mouse, no meaningful action has been taken. I also contacted you by email, and you said you would investigate the issue and get back to me within 48 hours. However, I have still not received any response. It seems that you have no intention of resolving this issue.

Equipe muito simpática, um dos recepcionistas era brasileiro e nos deu muitas dicas, tocou violão e foi muito bacana. O hostel é bem completo e a localização legal também.

Muitas escadas no hostel e cama não tão confortável. Locker bem caro, deveria ter no quarto lockers maiores.

We really enjoyed the vibe at the hostel. Everyone was friendly and having a good time together. We watched the world cup game, had beer and pizza, played pool, and used the smoking room. We made a few friends while we were there. The showers and bathrooms were well-kept!

The first couple of nights (2 of 5) we slept really well and had respectful bunk mates in our shared room for 12 people. After that many nights it became uncomfortable for sleeping in the bunk and we had many disruptions during sleeping hours. People should try to repack their suitcases in the hallway rather than the shared room if possible to let others sleep.
