Simply we had zero cold water in the bathroom, we stayed in the suite on top floor . Sink , shower even the toilet was running hot water only. Massive legionella risk. We asked for this to be fixed on day 1 of our stay with the reception. They failed to make any effort to fix it. Did not get offered another room or any compensation . Also the lift is very small and ready to breakdown at will. Location was great

Just location

This by far was the worse place I stayed at. The building is quite old and it smells like mold. Besides that, the cleanliness of rooms is 0. The bathroom was very dirty, toilet seat was nasty with other words unacceptable. The photos attached do not show very clearly the nastyness. When i complained and requested another room they did not take my complaints seriously and were suprised why I am complaining. Bed was very bad. You could feel mattress springs and comforter/blanket was just covered with material it was not in closed bedding. Wifi did not work at all at any point of our stay. The sfaff was supposed to help us and sort this for us , but they did not care. Bottom line there is nothing luxarious about this place and I would never go back or recommend it to anyone ever! Too expensive and dirty!

La ubicación y el personal al solucionarlos algunos problemas que tuvimos al comienzo, como pañuelos que estabas usados (no era caja nueva), cooler en mal estado ( lo remplazaron por uno nuevo) y lo de limpieza qué tuvieron que arreglar.

Llegar y el balcón sucio, sanas con mal olor y el refri en mal estado, aun que fueron muy amables en solucionarlo todo

The service was impeccable, and the staff were extremely attentive and genuinely hospitable throughout our visit. The room itself was spacious, well-lit, and featured modern furniture, with plenty of closet space. Perfectly located within short walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, with supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés all nearby.

The only downside was that the bathroom seemed very worn out but the staff mentioned that renovations are planned soon.

We were accommodated in a room on the top floor with a balcony. The room was large and clean with a nice view.

De locatie is echt fantastisch, alles ligt op loopafstand, het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is wel een aardige klim met de trappen, maar met de kleine lift (kunnen max 3 personen in) is het prima te bereiken. Kamers zijn netjes en schoon.

Staff were extremely helpful and lovely. Allowed us to check in early and they looked after our bags. The place was clean and great value. Very central and easy to walk everywhere.

Wspaniałe miejsce, bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Pokój idealny, czysty, zadbany. Codziennie był sprzątany. Pokój znajduje się blisko każdej atrakcji turystycznej. Wszystko w jest w odległości 300m-1,5km max. Blisko dworca. Pokoje znajdują się przy jednej z głównych ulic, ale jest to całkowicie nieodczuwalne będąc w pokoju. Plusem jest bliskość sklepów i restauracji. Po wymeldowaniu mogliśmy zostawic bagaż i odebrać go w późniejszych godzinach. Jesteśmy zachwyceni pobytem . Polecamy ❤️❤️❤️

Mediocre property. Busy and loud street, access to upper floors by stairs only. Rooms were shabby. I would book only if there are no options

I was visiting with my son for a long weekend and wanted a room with 2 beds. Found this Guest House which was ideal. Great price and great location (walkable to Termini, Trevi, Pantheon, Colosseum) and direct buses or underground to Vatican. The room was very spacious. Comfortable beds and 2 types of firmness of pillows which I really appreciated. As we were on the main road occasional traffic could be heard but we slept well. The bathroom is also spacious with a single sink, toilet, bidet and wide shower. The shower power and temperature was good for us (it got very hot despite other reviews). Toiletries are available (combined hair and shower gel and body lotion). There is a kettle and coffee machine. There is also a fridge which has complimentary water (first bottles only) and paid soft drinks. Handy to have the fridge for your own products. Please note that there is no longer breakfast at this property (unlike in reviews a while back). There are some crackers with Nutella or jam spreads as a little snack. There are several cafes for breakfast nearby which we used. The receptionist did say we may be able to get a discounted breakfast at the St Moritz hotel underneath. We didn't try to take advantage of this. People say that there is difficulty finding the property but with Google maps and the clear signs on the main road, we didn't have any issues. On arrival press the intercom button and head to the 3rd floor. There is a small lift or obviously stairs. Our room was on the 4th floor. There is a combination of keys and codes to get in. The receptionist was friendly. She spoke English well and was helpful and clear with any instructions needed. She also confirmed that we were able to leave bags in the property after check out which we did take advantage of. Overall a clean, spacious, convenient and great value property. I would recommend (unless you are after something particularly boutique like or romantic).

Posizione centrale e camere accoglienti e pulite… il personale davvero gentile, alla mano e disponibile. Abbiamo salvato la posizione per un prossimo soggiorno, molto consigliato.

Huoneessa voimakas homeen haju. Samoin, kun astui rakennukseen sisään sekä hissiin. Lämmintä vettä ei tullut lainkaan, parvekkeella ei ollut sadesuojaa. Asuimme sviitissä. Sänky oli epämukava, nukuin sohvalla toisen yön.

Excelente ubicación se puede caminar a todos lados, supermercado enfrente con variedad, elevador aunque pequeño estaba bien, la vista del balcón lindisima y el tamaño del cuarto formidable!! Fácil check in en línea y nos enviaron un chofer con nuestro nombre para recogernos en el aeropuerto Todo 100 puntos!

Location was amazing 10-20 ‘min from colosseum, Trevi fountain, pantheon, Roma termini station, shopping. Spanish steps! I was with my two daughters and location on a main split street instead of a dark alley way felt very safe!

Four flights of stairs but the little elevator does work

The location was excellent, you could walk to all the tourist spots. It was very close to the train station. The bed was so comfortable

It took a few minutes to get any hot water and the water pressure was terrible.

This is a bare bones facility. Would not describe as a hotel, seems more like a rooming house. Very poor signage in front of building when you arrive. Did not help with luggage despite tiny elevator, barely fits 2 people and 2 pieces of luggage. No staff on site after 8pm no breakfast offered. AC never worked, thankfully it was cool with window open. Musty smell in common areas.

Room was very clean and spacious. We loved the bathroom and large shower. Perfect location, walkable to many delicious restaurants and close to attractions. Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We arrived to Rome before check in time and they were incredibly accommodating. I’ve stayed here before and will stay again!

This place have 5 stars because its clean, super good area and near every historic places. The staff are amazing.

Good location, clean rooms. Entrance to building is intimidating but rooms are pleasing. Courteous staff. Property does not operate a 24 hour concierge or desk coverage as part of the Relais chain.

The staff were so helpful and kind we had the most fabulous trip it was so clean perfect size for 2 and amazing location couldn’t of stayed anywhere nicer will definitely return here if in Rome again Thankyou so much the staff were so amazing !!

Compared to other places I stayed in Italy, this was a dream. There was actually someone at the desk, and also prompt answers to my email questions. Other places were remote check-in only, sometimes with complicated procedures, and very hard to reach some of them when there were issues

The rooms were in a great location for all the attractions. The staff was friendly and available to help. We were able to get things when we needed them. Our room was cleaned and restocked daily. The view from our room was not as great as we expected based on reviews, but we didn’t spend much time in our room.

Loved the location. We walked to shopping, dining, drug store, groceries etc.. Bus and taxis were right outside our hotel door. It shows its age, but what do you expect from a 500 year old building. Our choice of rooms was nice as far as we had the whole top floor to ourselves but the elevator only went to the floor below us. Other than needing more comfortable chairs in our 2nd room, it was a nice set up. Staff was really friendly

Easy walk from Roma Termini to hotel and 15 min walk to Trevy Fountain

Everything was good, my only struggle was the AC it wasn’t really cooling the room. Other than that the hotel was located in an amazing walkable area.

The pressure of the water on shower was a little weak

Location is ideal for if you're looking to stay centrally, although the city centre can be pretty loud in the early hours, Friday evening especially. Room was basic but perfectly serviceable. The room was cleaned daily and amenities restocked, although for some reason not the toilet roll?? I'm not sure 3 toilet rolls for 2 people to last 6 days makes that much sense? Coffee machine in the room didn't work properly. AC was perfectly fine and pretty much essential if travelling during the summer. The shower only gave cold water on one of the days also. Refreshing if you've been out in the humidity all day, less so if you're just waking up first thing in the morning. The water pressure also left a lot to be desired. Last but not least, there is absolutely no breakfast served at this hotel, despite it being labelled a 'bed and breakfast' and stating that a continental breakfast was included in the price. On the whole, pretty disappointing. Would only recommend if staying in the centre is essential to you.

Nazionale 51 was fantastic! The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Pantheon, Trastevere, plus plenty of shopping and dining. Our room was very comfortable with wonderfully cool, quiet AC, a huge bathroom, and a convenient mini fridge. Customer service was super sweet and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

A/C , balcony ; awesome, communicate well, professional and friendly staff. We’ll definitely reserve at this hotel again when we’re back to Italy ❤️.

The place was clean and the people working were very nice. The bad: water pressure is not good. Water in shower goes super hot and super cold randomly while showering. It's WAY too hot in this place. Despite being in the dead of summer there was no a/c running in hallways or lobby. Room temp does not work below 22 c- who wants to pay money to sleep like that?! Not me, nor my wife. There is 4 large flights of stairs, did I mention no AC? The elevator is scary, makes sounds and barely fits 2 people. I absolutely would not stay here again.

I had a really great experience at Via Nazionale 51. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were very clean and nice (especially the balcony overlooking the streets of Rome), and its location was perfect as it was right in the centre. Would definetely reccomend!

I felt completely taken advantage of at Nazionale 51. Despite having a fully prepaid reservation, I was denied access to my room and pressured into paying additional charges under duress. Weeks later, the hotel still has not provided any valid documentation to support their claims. The evasive behavior and shifting explanations were extremely concerning and unprofessional. This was a stressful and disappointing experience - I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Great hotel, very close to all the main attractions. Giulio was very helpful when che king us in and during the trip planning. The hotel doesn't have a big elevator so just be aware and be prepared to climb the stairs. Also, we arranged for a pick up from the airport to the hotel through the hotel staff. It was a bit confusing as we wanted a minivan to accommodate 5 of us but was quoted €80 the first time, then €100 the second time, then finally €110, this seemed a little strange. But the driver was fine and pick us up inside the airport. May be worth it to book a shuttle bus or try the subway rather than hiring the driver. Other than that, we enjoyed our hotel stay.
