Reviewed Sep 17, 2026El lugar está hermoso, muy tranquilo y silencioso. De verdad que uno puede descansar ahi. Fue un excelente lugar para celebrar un aniversario, esos jardines son románticos. El desayuno es muy variado aunque no lo incluye bien lo vale.
No hubo nada que fuera malo.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026La ubicación y las instalaciones son excelentes, llegas a pie al Centro de San Miguel de Allende. De igual forma los jardínes brindan tranquilidad, y finalmente el estacionamiento es espacioso sin tener que dejar llaves. El personal del hotel también siempre muy atento.
El buffet es un poco limitado, pero suficiente para un buen desayuno

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026El lugar es increible supero todo lo que había planeado, tiene un jardin enorme para tomar fotos, las imagenes de la posada son hermosas, aunque no hubo tiempo de usar la alberca tambien esta muy bien, toda la psada muy limpio, el personal muy amable, si vas en plan de descanso riquisimo ya que no hay ruidos,el precio es justo para el lugar, hay acceso a restaurantes, cafeterias, encuentras todo cerca puedes llegar a la catedral caminando, hay cerca tiendas, oxxo y farmacias.
Todo me gusto, volveria a regresar a este lugar.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Increíble hotel, enorme y muy buen cuidado con ubicación en el centro de la ciudad, caminando llegas a la catedral en 10 minutos o menos. El desayuno no estaba incluído pero está a muy buen precio y muy sabroso (a la carta). El personal muy amable. Tiene alberca y un estacionamiento muy grande.
El único pero es que las camas estaban algo duras para mí gusto.

There was no mini fridge in the room and the decor needs refreshing.

La personne de l' accueil qui nous a reçu n' était pas très accueillante et nous avons dû lui donner notre numéro de réservation booking pour lui simplifier la tâche il semblait ne pas nous croire , un peu raide comme accueil!!

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026What a beautiful place? A real oasis right next to the old city and full of charm and history. Surprisingly quiet too (mind you it was fairly empty I suspect more door noise if full). And this is a beautiful town to explore.
The rooms are fairly basic (if roomy) as you'd expect in such a traditional type of accommodation but you'd choose this place for its history not mod cons!?

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026This is the second time I’ve stayed at this friendly and comfortable hotel and it won’t be the last. It is located walking distance to El Jardin (main square and church) and across the street from Instituto Allende, There can’t be a kinder staff in all of the city. Reception is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is wonderful replacing bathroom amenities daily. They leave two bottles of water the first day and you can replace water from the 5-gallon water dispensers in the halls. The buffet breakfast is excellent and includes an egg chef, Cafe de Olla (Mexican coffee) and on weekends, hand-made tortillas. Rooms are large with good AC and hot water pressure. The TV has CNN and BBC and wi-fi is excellent. There is no reason to stay any place else. One bit of info. in case you need a pharmacy or snacks - there is one practically next door (turn left as you edit the gate). It is OK, but prices are high. Walk a few more steps and there is Farmacia Guadalajara, with a large, nicely stocked mini-mart and a pharmacy in the back. Prices and selection are much better.

The yellow bulbs in the ceiling fixture are oppressive, especially in a room without much natural light. A better choice of light bulb that brightens the room without making it feel like a hospital would be a terrific improvement.

I only had breakfast which was good. (Will have more now the official trip has started. I would prefer that coffee be available long before 8 am. 7 am would be good - 6:30 even better.
