Wish there was an ice machine available. Had to go to office to get ice. Office was often locked. Had to wait to be let in. They were more than happy to help. Just felt uncomfortable disturbing them. Wish restaurant was open earlier in the week

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Wir waren nur über Nacht da, konnten daher services wie die kostenlosen Boote nicht nutzen. Vom Aufbau her erst mal ein klassisches Motel, eben sehr schöner Lage, zwischen Garten, Wald und See. Lage mit 5 min zu Restaurants/Supermarkt/algonquin outfitters gut, Frühstück und Abendessen gibt's an den meisten Tagen im zugehörigen Restaurant, war in Ordnung.
Die Möbel und Badausstattung waren alt aber gut gepflegt. Passt zum klassischen Motel, muss einem aber gefallen. Im Untergeschoss merkt man den kalten Boden und hört die Schritte aus dem Raum darüber. Auch so Schilder wie "nutze nicht die Handtücher zum reinigen von Equipment" haben im Park wahrscheinlich Berechtigung, wirken aber komisch.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026I stayed here for a week with my two children, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean and well maintained, and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed spending time at the resort. We were able to freely use the kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards on the lake. We also made s’mores around the campfire, and my children had a wonderful time playing in the lake. One of our most memorable experiences was talking with other guests who had come from different places. The resort was also conveniently located for exploring Algonquin Park and the Muskoka area. I would definitely recommend this resort! 😊
It would have been helpful if we had been informed in advance about the hours for using the fire pit.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026el restaurante estaba cerrado el lunes y martes por lo cual no lo disfrutamos. Al final como estos dos días tuvimos que buscar una solución fuera seguimos comiendo allí porque encontramos sitios muy buenos cerca. La ubicación. Muy fácil desde alli ir a alquonquin. Además tiene un lago pequeño ideal para canoas sobre todo si no tiene mucha confianza y tienes niños porque no es grande y es más seguro. Dejan chaleco y demás aunque hay poco. Las camas cómodas. Hay vista al lago aunque no la pudimos disfrutar casi puesto que pasaban en frente de la ventana todos los huespedes de la habitación. El jardín muy bonito y cuidado. Para nosotros ha sido muy cómoda porque ibamos todos los dias a alquonquin.
El pasillo donde están las puertas de las habitaciones está muy sucios. Hay muchas telarañas pegadas a las puertas y en las paredes. La ventana que teníamos que cerrarla todo el rato por el paso de gente que había entonces estabamos a oscura (sin luz natural). Las colchas y mantass viejas. Todo en general es bastante antiguo dentro pero especialmente las colchas. Una ventana que se pueda ver al exterior sin que te vean es lo ideal para allí.

La struttura mette a disposizione gratuitamente canoe, SUP e barchette, che permettono di godersi al meglio il lago. La camera era spaziosa, pulita e confortevole. Ottimo anche il ristorante, con una buona varietà di piatti e proposte per tutti i gusti. Il personale è stato sempre gentile, disponibile e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Soggiorno assolutamente consigliato!

Sound carries a little from the floor above if someone is running around (like children).

Niente. Soggiorno bellissimo. Segnalo solamente che l’orario della cena termina alle 19:30 (come anche in tutte le strutture attorno) e che il lunedì/martedí il ristorante è chiuso (almeno quando siamo andati noi).

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Die Lage und die Ausstattung des Resorts ist phänomenal. Eigentlich wollten wir (Familie mit drei Kindern auf Rundreise) Ausflüge in den Park unternehmen. Aber die kinder konnten im Spring Lake Resort baden und jederzeit die Kajaks und SUPs benutzen, es gab Liegestühle und Grills und alles Zubehör wurde zur Verfügung gestellt, so dass wir, abgesehen von Einkaufen und Waschsalon in Huntsville) fast die kompletten drei Tage vor Ort geblieben sind. Wir waren auf unserer Reise auch in Viersternehotels, aber die Kinder sagen: von allen Unterkünften in Kanada vermissen wir Spring Lake am meisten!
Da wir im Erdgeschoss waren, wirkten die fussböden irgendwie feucht. (Aber wir würden dieselben Zimmer trotzdem wieder buchen, denn man tritt aus der Zimmertür und ist nach ein paar Metern am Seeufer)

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Brilliant having three beds in the suite. They were comfortable, the AC worked well, appreciated having a fridge in the room. Delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the free kayaks, canoes and paddle boards, the beautiful flowers and grounds, the chipmunks running about and birds (including blue jays and hummingbirds) in the garden. The owners were really helpful about us arriving late and sorted things out for us.

Le stanze grandi e pulite, tutto il necessario per preparare una colazione in camera, in più c'è un ristorante in cui si mangia benissimo. Lo staff ci ha accolto con molta cordialità e gentilezza. Ci sono anche aree attrezzate per il barbecue. Davvero un bellissimo posto per immergersi nell' atmosfera dell'Algonquin Park.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026The resort is a picturesque place with an amazing view on the lake. It is so peaceful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and the garden is beautiful too. You can see there's love and attention in the way the resort is managed. Also, there are free activities you can do on the lake, such as canoeing. The owners are very kind and welcoming people. Finally, the position is great both for visiting the Algonquin Park and the little town of Dwight and there is plenty of interesting places nearby where you can have a good breakfast or dinner when you are not going to the resort's restaurant.
Loved everything, I will definitely come back again!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sauber. Die Lage ist wunderbar an einem kleinen See, an dem man baden und kostenlos Kanus, SUPs etc. ausleihen kann. Vom Hotel sind es ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto zum Westgate. Eintritt bekommt man vergünstigt im Hotel. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir noch um eine Nacht verlängert haben.
Die Bedienung beim Frühstück war extrem unfreundlich. Schade, denn das andere Personal war sehr freundlich.

I was there on my own in a 3 bed suite that had more than enough space for me, but if you really would stay there with 3 to 6 people, the lack of any cupboard to put your clothes would have been an issue. I have been there from Monday to Thursday. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026The property, both inside and outside, are very well taken care of. The rooms were well stocked with basics, including coffee, mini fridge, microwave. The outside was very cozy and overall nice place to spend time, and enjoy the nature. The best part were personelle. Everyone we encountered were a great pleasure to deal with, super friendly and eager to help. Special thanks goes to younger members, they went above and beyond ❤️

Just felt was bit pricey. I saw other guest rooms were half priced or lesser. Mine was family room for 4. But double priced compared to my next room seemed pricey.

No hay elevador para las habitaciones del segundo piso, si vas con maletas grandes es molestia tener que subir escaleras con maletas grandes. A pesar de estar limpio, se sentía el ambiente de la habitación con polvo. Ya los sobrecama necesitan ser reemplazadas

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Lovely landscaping, nice quiet beach with kayaks and a canoe and paddleboard you can use for free. Clean rooms and a quiet atmosphere. Very friendly staff and a little restaurant attached that we had breakfast at twice, which was great. We will definitely return!

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Spring Lake Resort is perfect for a trip through Algonquin Park! Located close by at the highway, with plenty of space for cars it’s ideal for a trip. Also you can relax at its own lake. Staff was incredible nice and gave helpful information about the park. Also you should but your Daily permit at the Resort, half the price what you would pay online! All in all great!

Reviewed May 30, 2026We stayed at Deerhurst the night before and it was lovely. To celebrate our anniversary we stayed another night at Spring resort. Our room was so clean we were able to use amenities, sit on the porch and take in the scenery of the property. We had a great sleep as the beds were very comfortable. My husband said he would stay here again when he takes our sons fishing. Having a restaurant on site is perfect.
