Zimmer ist renoviert. Bad ist sauber .

Renovierung der restlichen Anlage muss noch erfolgen. Kühlschrank und die Mikrowelle sehen katastrophal aus. Türen, Schränke usw passten nicht mehr. Sessel ist durchgescheuert. Außen stehen 2 relativ neue Stühle. Das war es dann auch. Der Rest ist alt, defekt und verdreckt. Fotos haben wir uns erspart um uns nicht erneut zu ärgern.

Everything- appalling place, looks like nothing has been done with the place for years. NOT as appeared in Booking.com photos. Overgrown, pealing paint, dirty, broken furniture, mold in the microwave.

Die ganze Bungalowanlage ist in einem furchtbaren Zustand, verrottete Bungalows mit altem Mobiliar, Bettwäsche war nicht sauber. Finger weg, nicht mal einen Stern wert. Reception hat uns am Mittag schon 2 mal angeschrieben und wollte wissen bis wann wir endlich anreisen, ist dann wohl nach unserer Ankunft gleich gegangen. Die Lage direkt am Nationalpark ist toll aber die Unterkunft für den Preis unmöglich, wir hatten 2 Nächte gebucht und sind nach einer Nacht wieder abgereist. Nicht zu empfehlen.

The motel is beautifully located overlooking the oxtongue river conveniently located on highway. The interior room with comfortable queen bed was clean, updated bathroom and French door to patio.

Bright lights outside the room at night created too much light in room. The restaurant was not open. Not a flower in sight and wood exterior needing maintenance are easy fixes to make the property more appealing.

purtroppo i servizi esterni sono stati precettati da famiglie piuttosto numerose che ne impedivano la fruizione ad altri, comunque non un grande problema

Die Anlage ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen müssten mal ausgetauscht werden.

The location was close to Algonquin. I liked that it was easy to get into the water but it poured rain so we didn’t go in. Also, that there was bbqs to use.

That people spent the entire day sitting outside our room under the umbrella so we couldn’t sit by the water. Our A/c was very loud and the filter was clogged right up. We cleaned it and it was much better.

tired/unkempt facilities (beach could use a tidy up, lounge chairs could use a clean/repair, some shade umbrellas lacking or in disrepair. Was unsure if tap water potable...no signage.

Personne à notre arrivée à 8h30 pm environ, pas de glace, pas de verre de plastique. Le lendemain matin, nous avons vu une employée rentrer dans le bâtiment des employés, nous avons cogné pour demander de la glace et elle n’a jamais répondue. Il y avait des distributeur de boissons gazeuses dans le bâtiment non accessible car il était barré à 10h00 am.

The location was nice.

The room was very shabby and it wasn't clean. There were a lot of broken down items (towel rack, bathroom fan, sliding screen door, threadbare sheets, etc.) The bed was very hard, had no mattress cover, and the sheets were very worn. I could go on . . . .

I found it clean, quiet, safe, and beautiful. All expectations were met. I would definitely recommend to others and will be going back for sure. The whole region is a great place to visit and I hope to go back soon.

I can't think of anything to add here, the whole experience was excellent. Thank you to the hotel team for the amazing stay! I only wish I could have stayed longer next time, unfortunately I was just passing through the region. .

Comfortable rooms, waterfront

It’s a little dated but overall that didn’t effect our stay

Our group of 20 friends spent a wonderful couple of days at the Algonquin Inn in Dwight this mid-July, and it was a fantastic stay! The rooms were spotlessly clean and neat, and having access to the dining, kitchen, and sitting areas made our group hangouts incredibly easy and enjoyable. A massive thank you to the staff, especially Michael and Kaya. Their polite, courteous, and smiling service made a world of difference. We highly recommend this lovely inn and its amazing team to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Friendly folks

Excellent location and friendly staff!! Clean comfortable beds and clean bathrooms! Showered with clean running water!! I was afraid of the previous reviews and didn’t know what to expect! Remember there is heavy mineral water here and it leaves water stains like iron deposits. This is cottage country and not the city !! Unlike some even fancier dwellings there was no musty smell !! Small but new BBQ’s !! Needs occasional cleaning due to use from many guests. This is not a fancy hotel it is a quaint simple peaceful and clean setting nestled near a national park. We have stayed in the cottages and the motel rooms. It is on the waters edge!! If you enjoy nature and want to be close to the city this is the place for you ! Pricing is comparable to other places!

The age of the property shows and needs some TLC like sanding and painting on the exterior to make it shine. The owners just bought the property and are working hard!! New sign would help also !! Please remove old tattered flags. Guests should be reminded to appreciate the surroundings and not litter (water bottles left on the beach). Sorry I don’t have pictures!

Die Lage zum Nationalpark war super, und auch die direkte Lage am See war top. Alles in allem war es tipptopp, und wir würden es wieder buchen.

Der äussere Eindruck könnte sicherlich etwas besser sein, aber das hat während des Aufenthalts nicht gestört. Der Lärm des Kühlschranks war etwas störend.

It was freezing in that room! The floors were very cold and the draft close to floor was very cold. We brewed coffee at 1 am to warm up.

The washroom door was very squeaky, through the whole night it kept disturbing the sleep for everyone. They need to get that door fixed or else everything was fantastic.

The Inn doesn't offer breakfast.

Shower has low pressure up to no water coming out from shower head at all for hours. Very disappointed n upset for no water during shower half way. The bed is too soft causing back pains. The Inn won't issue a refund for unused night. The Inn instructed us to contact booking.com for refund.

great view and the hot tub was lovely. the price and location were also great, and the owner/innkeeper was really nice and helpful. not too far away from hiking trails too

The Lakeside Inn is beautifully located on the water. I stayed in a rustic cabin that met my needs. Bed, kitchen etc were all adequate.

They did not provide dish detergent and I ended up using shampoo.

I only liked the location.

The room was not very clean. The property needs some tlc. The water was yellow. Opened the window to get some air, and 16-20 flies came in at one time. It was very basic and so expensive. I could have gone for 4 star hotel for that much.

Great location. Stayed in the motel section. Cute rooms with excellent lake views. Basic but nice. Having your own personal fire pit by the water under the stars was amazing!

No coffee makers in the room. Had to purchase coffee from a coffee maker in the lobby if you wanted one. No firewood available on site. Television didn't work

stayed here before, so I knew what I was getting, very weak WIFI, no coffee with the coffee maker, only one piece of soap in bathroom, the whole facility needs a face lift in order to warrant the price they are asking for, $335.can for a double room is very steep for the quality of the place very small TV the property has so much potential, it could really be a gem

La situation permettant d’avoir accès aux sentiers de randonnée

L’entretien des extérieurs (pas sécurisé au niveau du ponton) planches bois cassées. Pas d’eau pour la douche. L’eau coulait uniquement et très légèrement pour remplir la baignoire. La pression n’était pas suffisante pour sortir par le jet de douche. Douche rapide avec le peu d’eau qu’on avait. Eau du lac, soit disant filtrée et non conseillée pour la consommation. Bref personnel indisponible sur place et même avant l’arrivée, pas de réponses aux questions posées. Dommage ce site pourrait être bcp plus accueillant

Quiet and clean!

Water was in yellow color, which was informed while checkin. There were meat traces on the table. Which wasn't cleaned.

I dont want to bash the hard working people that run it but..I took my fiancee there for the night the day i preposed to her. stayed in the "honeymoon" suite. on the ground floor with a dilapidated patio the door barely locked felt very uneasy.The back patio wood was had broken boards all over and looks like there hasnt been any work done for a long time. the bed was the worst thing I've ever laid on. we checked in at 4pm and ended up leaving at 1am and drove the three hours home. the room itself was blah dimly lit the tub and shower was gross didn't even try them. even if this room was half price i would never stay there again a waste of time and money unfortunately. so much more i can say but trust the reviews and don't ruin a special day or weekend by staying here. unimpressed to say the absolute least.

TV not working, fruit flies everywhere, dead spiders on the walls, floors not swept, no ice available here ... and on the other hand the two staff were wonderful and we felt bad for them, being on the lake was fantastic, and the Beetle Lake Trail just across the street was amazing with colour!

The bed sheet is not clean, the comforter was ripped and dirty and has some kind of animal hairs on bed sheet. Bed was not comfortable causing backache. Shower has no water for hours due to low presure. no soap for shower. Nothing I like at the Inn. Terrible staying.

Beautiful view of the lake. Great staff. Room served its prepose. Our room was clean however the tv remote was so disgustingly sticky i couldnt gove 5 stars.

The room was very dirty. There was a spill left in the refrigerator, mold in the coffee maker, and tea leaves still in the kettle. It was clear that the room hadn’t been cleaned properly after the previous guest’s stay. I have never stayed at an inn this dirty before. And it cost $300 per night. Totally not worth the money.

It's a very beautiful place. Only there is a problem for supper.

The motel didn't mention that breakfast was not included and our room was on the second floor. This was not the first time that we stayed at the motel but I am quite sure that we will not stay there again for the way they treat customers.
