Hotel Oceania Paris Roissy CDG

Shuttle to airport not user friendly.

Missing soaps, very runned down, cheap looking, but the bed was clean enough. I won’t stay there again.

I was startled by an employee just coming in to my room to bring me extra water. I was not suitably dressed as I had been resting at the time, water appreciated, coming into the room, not.

The bed is not very comfortable, the pillows are flat and not fluffy at all, basically old and need to be replaced. The hotel hallways and surrounding are not very clean

Convenient for airport connections. The shuttle was not available when I arrived in the afternoon, so I had to take a taxi. This was a minor inconvenience, especially since I had not realized that the shuttle was not running and therefore spent quite a bit of time and effort unnecessarily.

The pool was the draw and it was wonderful, especially after walking all day . We found that the restaurant menu didn’t appeal to us, but found an excellent sushi restaurant around the corner . This was an airport hotel , we only stayed one night , and it met our needs .

Night porter was simple rude. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. The waitress in the dining room bit her nail and threw on the floor.

The pool was amazing, the room floor are a bit old, the bed too compared to America but it was still comfortable

I loved the rain shower head! Upon arriving to our room we noticed the toilet was blocked however the staff quickly allowed us to change rooms as no technician was available. This was perfect and everything worked great in the new room! All in all a great service, great stay!

It was close to the airport as advertised. A little isolate otherwise.

Front desk service was great. The assisted me by telling me an Uber to Orly airport was 40% cheaper than a taxi. Hotel was nice and a great place to stop over near CDG. I’d book again.

After arriving early in Paris after a long flight, there was not a minute earlier check-in, then the 3 o’clock. I am sure they had the room ready prior to that, but they were not going to give it up even for an extra price. I think they could’ve given a little more in the hospitality department. We just wanted to check in we are falling asleep in the lounge.

It was plesant stay. The pool could have been less warm ( when it’s totally enclosed it becomes like a sauna)

Good stay

Hotel was nice. You can do an early or late check out but it is €15 per hour extra

Clean, nice coffee maker, noon check out is nice, morning shuttle for a fee is also nice

Great stay!

Everything you want in a basic airport hotel, plus a warm pool and a pretty good breakfast.

Good location from Paris cdg, small town with some food options and a great little Bakery. You will need a shuttle which costs 7 euro/person.

Very clean. Good amenities. Perfect for one night stay before flight.

Great location and service.

Nice place with great breakfast buffet

Excellent. Good shuttle to airport.

Underpromisr. Amenities not existing or not as given impression off.

Room was not as clean as i would expect from a pricy hotel. Shower components were falling off. No soap in the bathrooms. but grubby in total.

Bedding had stains, but otherwise it was okay.

Amazing

Booked this last minute when flight was cancelled. Very clean. Staff was courteous. Huge bathroom. Comfortable bed. Couple of eating places within walking distance.

This was a great place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. Great pool and the staff were helpful.

Friendly service. Gorgeous pool and jacuzzi however make sure you check available open times for use. Airport shuttle and good breakfast very much apreciated

The stay was brilliant and would defo book again

Hotel was good but I forgot

I had the best stay here, from being picked up at the airport to receiving excellent service from the staff. The beautiful swimming pool and the great night tour enhanced my experience. The surroundings are relaxing and lovely. I will highly recommend it.

The hotel is pretty nice but the costumer service is Deficient. I was not told about WiFi information and there is not phones in the rooms to communicate to the reception.

Less than average hotel. Room was not very clean and some amenities were either dysfunctional or damaged (bed, faucet, etc.) Also, their airport shuttle will pick you up for free but they will charge you for the return trip to the airport… go figure.

Great place to stay overnight prior to catching a flight. Very cute little community with 4-5 dining options. Top Pizza was great. Friendly staff, comfy bed, hot shower and easy to catch a cab/uber to the terminal.

Absolutely horrible

There was no hot tub like stated on the website, the staff were rude and not nice at all because we didn’t speak french, no food places near by, safe didn't work and the big thing was they require a $300 deposit on a room and that wasn't stated on there wrbsite as the room didn't even cost that much!

Been there for 1 night. Because of early flight I wasn’t able to visit the breakfast but the pool looks good. The rooms are okay but on the 3th floor you can easily hear the ventilation which for me is not comfortable. I will visit again but on the first floor away from the ventilation fan. The reception was great, good communication. The on-site parking is easy to access with 14 euro fee per day.

Except the main counter staff. All the workers walk, talk and behave like zombies. No expressions. No smile and no life. Even staff members, came to our room couple of times to drop water, didn’t mind knocking the door. They directly opened the door. There could be thousands of possibilities

Loved it🙏

Hotel was okay not like we have read reviews it’s best hotel.Breakfast was not tasty at all.We had the access to pool and sauna but no point because water was very cold in pool and sauna and no towels for provided properly for shower and pool. They charged us more money for breakfast and it was not worthy.Hotel was clean but I am not very happy with my stay.Even we paid for city tax and it was nothing mentioned on website when we are booking the hotel.

We love the pool! Most staff were very polite, helpful and friendly.

The hotel was pretty good but I booked the airport shuttle and it was 35 minutes late picking me up at the hotel. When the car wasn’t there at 5:30, I asked the front desk to call and I don’t think that he called until it was almost 20 mins late. I was not happy. I have to run to the gate and have to rush my 84 years old mother to tag along. That was the worst experience I had from a hotel. I don’t want to blame the hotel but it was the staff and the car service that were to blame.

It was decent stay, but the shower contained black mould in several places.

The facility was good but taxi the hotel hired was terrible! They charged me 46 euros for just for 10 minutes ride between the hotel and airport! In addition, they remained charge me 300 EUR deposit which was withdrawn from my account! I think I will never use this hotel. Other than those, I am satisfied with the hotel.

The pool is amazing

Everything was wonderful, the gentleman at check in was extremely helpful and polite to make our stay a wonderful experience! The breakfast was delicious and reach in variety! The lady at checkout was very friendly and helpful with arrangements for shuttle! Very clean, modern, and a wonderful pool!

Excellent hotel for the value. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast buffet.

Hotel staff was rude as we were given room which we didn't like staff did not change our room which lead us to vacate room in the middle of night 3 am and also struggling for refund. Room was terrible with sofa beds.

The hotel was unique but the furniture and carpet throughout are heavily stained/damaged making it feel very unclean. I barely sat anywhere and the pillow on the bed was so tiny I might as well have slept on my arm. Bed was uncomfortable. I would not stay there again. The staff was extremely friendly though. It was close to the airport which was great. Had to pay for their shuttle, wasn’t free.

Good, but maintenance is poor

Great property close to the airport and wonderful amenities.

Pool

Great pool area, family friendly. Climatized room

Our stay was wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Juliette, at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Oceania was wonderful, and I loved the Hotel quiet and serene atmosphere, and the outstanding service of the Reception Personnel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially accommodating my inability to speak French. Although smoking is not permitted in the rooms, guests obviously violate that policy. I shared this with the front desk and it appeared to be well received. For me, price was a major consideration. I spent less on the hotel to be able to do more in Paris.

Friendly desk staff

It was a lovely hotel, but we booked here to be close to the airport. It was quite a trip (metro and bus making it 1hr 35min from Paris) to get to this hotel and still about a 15 minute ride to the airport the following morning (our hotel in the city of Paris for the rest of the trip was about a 45min metro ride directly to the airport), so not the most convenient, but the hotel and service were great!

Clean basic hotel with an airport shuttle : free from the airport to the hotel, but about 22 Euros (I think) to get back to the airport. Nothing happening in the area around the hotel, but then again, people just use the hotel as a stop-over near the airport. (We stayed there because we have family in a village close by.) Wifi was down on our 1st night, otherwise no complaints.

It is a place you can sleep or swim if you want to

It was a pleasurable experience for me. The room is beautiful and the WiFi works perfectly. The pool is took the cake for me! I loved every bit of my time there and to top it off the staff were amazing and helpful. The only shortfall for me is the meal. I never liked it as it wasn’t anything special. Others may like it but I didn’t. I’ll definitely be staying there again should I find myself in Paris😄

ALL AMERICANS!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I understand the 100 euro fee to check in to the room. That’s normal at any hotel to make a deposit. HOWEVERR!!! They charged me 16 euros TO LEAVE THE HOTEL!!! I was there for ONE NIGHT!! 16 euros isn’t a lot of money but it’s the principal of it all. As well, I was told it was called a “city tax” which okay is fine. However 16 euros for one night seems odd. Just don’t go here it’s not even that good of a hotel. It just has a nice lobby the roooms are pretty bad .

Really pleased with the family room size and set up. Food was pretty good and drinks good at the bar.

The inside of it look pleasing but the room was disgusting no rags , phone didnt work no heat it was terrible they don’t compensate you at all either it was bad

Bad services

A huge lack of English in a tourist area made communication very difficult. And who charges 9 Euro for a shot and then charges for the mixer as well. We had a drink that one night and switched to beer because of the ridiculous costs. the beds were great. The pool is warm and welcoming. Best one I've stayed in in Europe.

Terrific warm pool which we did not use. Very quiet location only a 10 minute bus #701 ride from CDG.

I really enjoyed the pool/spa and look of the place. Good staff as well.

Very nice hotel , comfortable bed and pillow , beautiful Bathroom. The phone was not working ,so missed husband call. Nespresso machine water container was filthy with lime. Apart from that , stay was good.

The staff were very helpful. Rooms nice and clean. It had 3 BBC channels on tv

Very nice hotel!! Might not be in the greatest location, but it is close to the airport in Paris. Nice pool and very nice rooms.

Hot tub was excellent.

Fantastic spa and pool. Perfect after or before any journey

The buikding needed help and parking lot was overcrowded

We got in late, reception wasn’t very helpful. Wanted to charge us 45 euro for a taxi ride that cost us 18 euro.

The hotel was nice, but there was no appreciable air conditioning. I turned it on and set the temperature and fan and there was such a small trickle of cold coming out of the duct it really did nothing. We actually ended up opening our windows and listened to the planes instead. Brian

i would not stay there again it was dirty and not well maintained.

It was great location from Charles de Gaule airport. Fast checkin.

1st stay on July 5th was the worst! We didn’t get the promised 2 queen beds. Room was small, the lobby was old and dirty. I’d give this hotel a negative 1 if I could. Expedia should not b advertising this hotel more than1 ranking!!

Very nice place to stay, the only thing I didn’t like was that we had to pay for parking.

This hotel is very close to the airport. There is a free shuttle from the airport but it costs per person to get to the airport. We had a bed and pullout couch for the kids. It turned out to be 2 separate rooms in one larger unit. This was nice.

Fantastic hotel and overnight stay to connect flights… swimming pool was great, room service quick tasty and well priced, quiet modern room with a very comfy bed and great staff. Would visit again.

We only arrived at the hotel at 10:00 pm and then had to leave at 6:30 am the next morning. We did not get to try the pool unfortunately but it looked nice. The lobby was nice and inviting. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

This was a beautiful spot if you’re wanting to stay close to the airport. Breakfast was wonderful and has a pool and fitness facility.

Airport noise

Nice property and clean for a layover. Good for one night

Water temperature ranged from very hot to scalding. I reported it to front desk and he made an obviously bogus attempt to fix it, then told me he remotely adjusted the temperature. I tried it again and no change. It was almost impossible to shower. This in a $400/night room. Staff there have absolutely no regard for customers. Stay away.

It was pleasure to stay.

We arrived at CDG at 4 pm, but the shuttle to the hotel wasn't going to come until 6, so we had to take a cab. There was no food available--the concierge pointed me to a vending machine when I asked; the restaurant wasn't even open on a Friday night! No snacks at the bar. The shower had no soap or shampoo--only an empty bottle! The hotel advertised a refreshing pool and a hot tub, but it was all enclosed--stiflingly hot--and the pool, itself, _was_ the hot tub; it was too hot to swim in! This was an awful place!

Staff was friendly and attentive and the room was nice. There were a few things that weren't working. We had to change rooms as the electrical connection in the room was loose and the elliptical in the gym didn't have any tension. Staff responded to our concerns and all was well.

Wow, he don’t look four star hotel and charge me for the parking

The Hotel was great. It’s near to the airport but you need a car to get to anywhere (restaurants shopping). No Uber or other deliveries are made to the area

Coffee was great! Breakfast was questionable most of the time. No dinner options. Desk staff was wonderful but, breakfast staff was rude. Might have been due to communication problems. Still…. Should be friendly.

Nice but it was kind of far away from everything but CDG

The Oceania is a hidden gem of a hotel, most people are here waiting on flights, there is a bus service from the Roissypole to the Oceania- it has a fairly fast linkup to downtown Paris and it's historical 1er Arrondissement. I stayed 2 days, and was both pleasantly surprised at the amenities offered. The neaighbor Nomad hotel runs a dinner buffet that is very cool, excellent value and great dishes. The Le-Mesnil Amelot village has a Artisan Boulangerie, and a couple of Pizza dives. Nice roundup of amenities, and the hotel itself is clean 5*

Place was nice but not as near of a stay to the CDG airport as it seems. It was a 40 Euro trip by taxi for the 4 of us and the hotel charges 9 Euro per person for their shuttle so better off taking a taxi IMO. Pool was nice, they had a steam bath so life was good. Small market about a 10 min walk but nothing else around really.
