We had 5 of us so I did like the two separate rooms and how spacious the room was..

The double bed was not very comfortable but I survived one night..

It was an awful stay. I strongly recommend that other travellers avoid this place, especially families with children.

The bed sheets definitely had already been used before being given to us, which was completely unacceptable and unhygienic. The bed didn't even have a proper duvet. Instead, what appeared to be a duvet protector was used as the blanket. The bathroom also had a strong unpleasant smell, making the stay even more uncomfortable. The overall hygiene was terrible, and it was very unpleasant to stay in such an unclean space.

This motel was spectacular. I was everything expected as depicted in the photos when placing the booking. It was very vlean and tidy, really loved our apartment and noticed it was sound proof, cause my family and i can be pretty loud when enjoying ourselves. Thank you Admiral Motel for the warm welcome and clean and cosy apartment

Not much really. However i felt a little interigated the next morning when the motelier queationed me about who stayed and want to.know how many people we had, 4 in fact as per our booking. He did question why we had 2 vehicles, unsure why though. However, he was great to talk to on arrival and seemed very informative and helpful in terms of letting me know where local eateries are and places to visit. All in all, we loved the place and will continue to stay on our next visits.

Everything we needed. Could have happily lived in this unit. Not too much road noise, food outlets within walking distance, but there was a full, really well-equipped kitchen. Full bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet. Comfortable for 2 adults and 2 older kids. Beds were good, slept well. The host was lovely, very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is quite near the city centre and great value for money. Highly recommended. Good parking facility. Nice comfy beds and a big kitchen with a good number of kitchen utensils.

Not daily room service. No Netflix available, and surprisingly, there were even ants in the kitchen.

Good central location. Was not too far to walk to Margaret Mahy playground and the city centre. Garden setting was nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Good clean facilities with enough space for a family to stay with separate lounge, kitchen and bedroom.

Lighting was abit dark in the living room.

The staff were lovely to our technician who's plane kept getting delayed to finally take off 17hrs later and they made sure that he was still able to get into his room.

My favorite part of the room is the living room, we had a lot of fun playing cards with our friends

The location was great for what I wanted to do. It was clean and tidy. Plenty of coffee and sugar. The bed was comfortable. It was warm. The shower was excellent.

The owners are friendly and accommodating and checked in with us in the middle of our stay to see if we needed anything. Clean, comfortable & easy stay. It was uncomfortably hot; no air conditioning, but it was an older style cinder block structure so we understood that would be difficult to cool.

Very central - quick and easy walk to city centre. The unit had a full oven and a fridge and freezer- most places don’t have enough freezer space. Very clean. Liked the fact that the kitchen had a drainer. Lovely garden feel.

The kitchen needed and extractor fan so that frying food doesn’t fill the kitchen with smoke. The unit slept 5, but only 4 seats at the dining table. Very annoying for family of 5.

The room was like a 1 bedroom house. Full kitchen and bathroom with large bedroom and lounge. Staff/owners were incredibly helpful and friendly with anything we needed. Great location, only 1km from central.

The room size is good, and the location is convenient with free parking. The bedding are clean.

Noise: It was quite noisy every day—either early in the morning while we were still in bed or late at night. The noise seemed to come from the water cylinder inside the room, which was quite disruptive. Toilet Paper: The toilet paper provided was very low quality, thin, small rolls, and budget-grade. We don’t even use this type at home, and the supply was limited. Kitchen Tap: The hot water tap in the kitchen broke twice in the morning while I was preparing breakfast, which was inconvenient. Kitchen Facilities: The kitchen facilities were of poor quality. There were limited cups, bowls, and plates, and the cutlery (forks and spoons) was not clean. I found forks in the drawer with purple/blue stains that looked suspicious, possibly from mouse poison. Cleaning Supplies: On the first day, the dishwashing liquid and handwash were nearly empty, but the staff refilled them promptly after I mentioned it, which I appreciated. Ants Issue: I left some chocolate donuts on the dining table overnight, and by the next morning, there were many ants eating them. This was quite unpleasant. Kitchen Condition: The whole kitchen felt old and worn out and could really benefit from some upgrades.

We stayed here for a few nights due to our son competing in a football tournament - the room was exactly what we needed - the kitchen had everything we needed - the shower was powerful and hot and the rooms were easy to heat which was perfect as it was chilly outside
