The room was very nice & thoughtfully pre-heated (impressive service particularly on a cold day). It was very clean, tidy & comfortable; a place made for relaxation. The decor was meticulously considered; a classy backlit TV in each room, warm snuggly beds & a luxurious shower; a winning sequence of features, one could only appreciate. A great combination & overall experience. The attention to detail was difficult not to notice. I really enjoyed my stay & thought they did very well. What a great place to rejuvenate. Without hesitation, I would stay again. I highly recommend the Belmont Motor Inn. You will thoroughly enjoy it.

The staff were friendly & kind. I appreciated the over the phone manner & service. An area for improvement would perhaps be to provide a follow-up email with check-in details in advance of arriving. This would provide some reassurance & confidence that things run smoothly. This information I needed was eventually provided. However, I had to track & confirm it myself rather than having it confirmed & provided for in an email automatically (code for after-hours key retrieval if required & room number). Had I not followed up, issues may have arisen. I mean this positively & constructively. Notwithstanding, it was an excellent stay.

Close to town and transport. Beds comfortable. Gentleman in reception was nice. Paid for breakfast, first morning we requested no toast just cereal and got a bowl of cornflakes with glad wrap over the top. Didn’t have any breakfast options or provision for next 2 days?

Not very clean. Old and a bit smelly. Under beds was gross. Breakfast didn’t get 2 mornings

This a basic motel but you get what you pay for. It was fine for us as we only really slept and showered there. We were out and about the rest of the time. The shower had good pressure and the bed was comfortable enough. You can walk to the CBD but it’s not super close. There is a small laundry facility and parking available. We were given vouchers for small discounts to a couple of local attractions which was nice. It was a little dusty but otherwise seemed clean.

There was no heater however when we asked for one we were given a portable one that was surprisingly good.

The rooms are nice and big with a decent size lounge dinning. The balcony was a nice added feature. We went in the middle of winter and the aircon managed to keep the room warm. The owner was very lovely. Will definitely stay again.

Decor very tired and soiled. Net curtains torn,with numerous hooks missing as were the main curtains making the appearance of the room quit scruffy. We were there for 5 nights. The room was not serviced as per the information sheet. Beds were not made up, bins not emptied until we complained on our 4th day. Even after that the room was not serviced as it should have been. The main bed sheets and top covers were simply dragged up without being tucked in.

Location was great, comfortable bed. A one night stay would have been enough rather than 2 nights.

The motel was rather dirty, alot of dust and food on the curtains. No ventilation in the bathroom so if u showered at night the tile floor was wet in the morning very hazardous. The jets in the spa bath blew out when turned on. Light in kitchen didn't work, loose and open connection. No breakfast as stated when booking, "coffee machine" is actually a coffee plunger and only a single serve for a 2 night stay. Very noisy as it on a main road. There was no information in the room to inform us on nearby eateries or touristy information.

The room had significant mould or dampness issues. It was the 2 Bed apartment, room 1. When we arrived around 3pm, all doors and windows were open, and it was fairly pungent. We gave the room around 90min to air but it did not get better. We decided not to stay as it was so bad. We ended up staying across the road. The owner was great at the time and said it was all good to leave, however we’ve now been fighting the Motel for 2 weeks to get our money back. Would never stay here again.

Warm and clean. Nice simple accommodation that was an easy walk to the city. Staff were friendly.

Not a dislike but more a suggestion for anyone with mobility challenges - the stairs would not be suitable so a ground floor room would be a must.

Very helpful staff and the room was very clean and spacious.

We were quite cold (in the middle of winter) and didn’t find the heating suitable for the high ceilings and room type. We also had to shift things around in order to bring them close enough to a wall socket, for example the microwave and electric blanket!

Shower pressure was excellent! Room was spacious. Parking space provided.

Bed was too soft and almost can feel the spring. There was a used flannel in the bathroom. Not enough light by the kitchen sink.

Good key-card entry, heatpump, 2 TV's and reliable wifi. Spotless kitchen & comfy beds.

Booking.com says breakfast is included, so we arrived with no food & had to go shopping early the next morning. Why advertise it if you don't provide it? Also, we stayed 3 nights (3 people) and weren't given more milk, just a minor issue.

Good shower and bathroom generally, bed was very comfortable and warm. Plenty of fridge space. Location was great. not far to anywhere in the city. Walking distance to new stadium. Good value for money.

This motel is dated but the rooms are spacious and we liked the sunny aspect and decks off the upper level rooms.

Could do with a good sweep and clean outside, and some areas need a lick of paint.

Great location, reception was friendly and welcoming, and the price was good. As a couple we might stay again.

There were 3 adults in our group, and plenty of room for 3, but things were set up for 2. Tea/coffee supplies for 2, towels and facecloths for 2. To be clear, there were 4 towels, so that was fine, but 2 facecloths? The heat pump didn't work properly., we weren't cold, but had the heat pump temp set quite high and it didn't heat the room. King size bed was nice, but so well worn you could see the body-shaped dips in the mattresses right away, and we both had sore backs in the morning.. Each unit has a car park, but if you go too far into the park it's difficult to get out of the car and into the unit because of the shape of the park and the shrubs beside.

Property was spacious and was excellent value for money. It’s also close to the Affogato cafe which is great. The location is walkable to the centre but takes 15-20 mins.

We had the closest room to the road so that was noisy. Any other unit is probably fine but the closest one is definitely traffic noise heavy. It also showed included breakfast when I booked and when I asked about this they didn’t know and said it was maybe because there’s a kitchenette (they did provide milk to be fair) but I thought that was quite cheeky.

Heat pump needs attention like clean the filters, oil heater worked better thank goodness because the room was so cold, the couch felt like you were sitting on concrete, hairs in the shower, curtains coming off the rails, freezer box in fridge needs defrosting, other people's items behind the couch, carpet very worn, Shower room could do with sum sort of heating in it, the rooms could do with an update make them more welcoming and warm.

Bathroom was modernised, having cooking facilities, parking out front.

Location to town centre with a car is 5 min away. Clean and just right for a family of 4.

The Sky TV wasn't working; however, a generous partial refund was provided to compensate. Otherwise, customer service was very good. Good beds. Above average overall.

Good price for staying close to town with plenty of space.

The facilities are definitely older and could use some sprucing (and maybe a bit of a tidy up) but it was a good stay overall.

The bed was very comfortable and I liked having a kitchen and tea and coffee. There was access to a washing machine. You could get clean towels daily and the make up wipes were a nice touch.

It was a bit out of the main area, so as I was not driving, I spent a bit on ubers. Things could have been explained a bit more on check-in and maybe check to see if everything was OK now and again.
